{A penny for your thoughts? A bit of a preview for what I'm working on for chapter 2 for the Rosie angst. Thoughts and prayers @ Alastor. lmao.

Alastor sat at the bar in the hotel, a small - yet growing pile, of crumbled up pieces of paper beside him as he made a failed attempt to write a letter. Husker rose a brow at Alastor, but didn't say anything. Figured that the guy knew what he was doing, despite his crumpled pile. Instead, he turned his attention to Lucifer, who happened to sit a seat away from Alastor. The Fallen Angel looked almost as puzzled as Husker. "What's gotten into him?" Husker simply shrugged his shoulders, "Beats me. He seemed kind of..I dunno..moody when he came back." "You know, I can hear you. I'm not deaf." A soft growl could be heard under Alastor's breath as he kept his focus on the paper in front of him, "My mood is none of your concern." Lucifer leaned away from the Radio Demon, but not before picking up one of the crumpled up pieces of paper. He read over it, paused, looked up at Alastor and back to the paper. "Having lady problems, eh? Happens to the best of us." Husker chuckles softly, "So much for being a lady's man. What does the letter say?" Alastor's ears twitched as he looked over to Lucifer, "I wouldn't read that out loud, if I were you." Lucifer smirked, "Oh? Maybe I should!" Alastor's crimson dials gave a sinister glow, "Give it back. I won't ask again." ---- Angel held his phone to his ear as he walked down the stairs to make his way to the kitchen when the walls shook. Lucifer's feathery wingspan flashed past him, followed by one of Alastor's eldritch tentacles chasing after him. "Ahh..I'll call ya' back Cherry. Some weird shit is going on here girl. Well duh..of course I'll let you know! " Going down the stairs, he glanced back for a second to see Vaggie and Charlie rushing past him. "Woah woah! What is going on here?!" Charlie demanded, raising her hands up between Alastor and Lucifer.

Alastor glared at Lucifer a moment longer before reining himself in. Snapping his fingers, he burned the papers that were left on the counter, including the one he was working on, before giving a side glance to Charlie. He bowed for a moment, "My apologies, it's..nothing of import. If you'll excuse me." Without further explanation, he used his shadow to excuse himself to his room. Vaggie turns to Lucifer, "Okay, what the fuck was that? He never apologizes." Tucking his wings in, Lucifer hands the half finished note to Vaggie. "He may have been upset that I took this from a discard pile he had." Charile looked over Vaggie's shoulder and read it aloud, " 'Dearest Rosie, I know may words cannot bridge the gap between us during my absence but know that I still value our friendship with the highest regard. If you will allow it, I would very much like to spend more time at your side as we once did. An outting together, I believe would be a wonderful start so that we can catch up.

It was wrong of me to only use my last two visits, albeit brief, to ask favor after favor without anything for you to gain in control. An delightful woman such as yourself deserves better. If only I .....'" Charlie melted as she finished reading what was on the paper, "Aww..Alastor and Rosie..Oh -.." She places a hand on her cheek, " If those two are close, and he's been spending all his time here? Ooooh.. that's a problem." She gave a light nervous laugh, "I'll..be right back guys." Vaggie looks up to Charlie, "Do you want me to come with you?" Charlie waves her hand behind her as she makes her way up the stairs, "Nope! I've got this!" Vaggie lets out a sigh, "I have a bad feeling about this." Lucifer just blinks for a moment, "Who's Rosie?" For someone who kept in contact with a handful of Overlords, he felt so out of the loop. But it was Niffty who spoke up, sweeping up the dust from the disrepair of the walls, who answered his question, "She's the cannibal Overlord in Cannibal Town! Auntie Rosie always has the best treats. Her and Alastor go waaaaaay back. I guess you could say they are besties. She eats bad boys for breakfast! Hahaah!" Lucifer gave a nervous laugh, "Yeah..thanks for the information. Though, that does explain why he was so defensive about the note. Hm.."

This morning, it's like, 440am and my husband and I are walking to where we meet Lyft by the gate of our apartment complex because we're headed to work.

Well, as we start walking, by one of the buildings, I see things flying right, I'm like THAT'S NOT BIRDS, they were a bunch of bats and my husband was walking RIGHT there.

So I'm yelling at him to move and I'm like "THERE'S BATS DO YOU NOT SEE THE BATS!?"

He's lookin at me like what is my problem 😭

I'm like, "DO YOU NOT HEAR THEM??"
