Okay okay hear me out, I know I literally just said werewolf Robin is the only thing that matters BUT
Werewolf Nancy
Nancy who knows something took Barb.
Nancy who decides to go hunting for this beast and gets attacked herself.
Nancy who is smart enough to do research, who gets weird looks from the librarian when she starts obsessively reading every book and legend on lycanthropy.
Nancy who meets Robin Buckley who has a deep special interest in the supernatural, who offers her help and suggests checking some less reputable sources too, like the Weekly Watcher
They get closer over the first couple weeks, talking and getting to know each other. Nancy dodges every werewolf related question, and Robin can’t help but notice
Nancy isolates herself because her enhanced senses make everything Too Much and she’s worried about losing control and Robin notices
Nancy tells Karen she’s spending the night at a friend’s house
Robin goes looking for her and knows immediately when Karen says where Nancy is that Nancy was lying
Robin finds Nancy in the woods, sitting against a tree and staring at the moon as if in a trance
Robin watches Nancy’s body break and mold and contort into something ugly and monstrous—but she knows it’s still Nancy
And at first this beast stares Robin down, hackles raised and teeth pulled back
Robin does what Robin does best—she rambles. She mostly spouts off nonsense about werewolves and all they’ve learned, but when she runs out of that, she moves on to other legends, then switches to flowers because she knows they’re one of Nancy’s interests
The wolf calms, actually lays down and listens, and it’s eyes gleam with such a soft and intense intelligence, and Robin understands that Nancy recognizes her in some capacity
When Nancy shifts back, unconscious and shaking, Robin takes her to her own house, lets her sleep in the bed while she herself takes the floor
Nancy sneaks away when she wakes up, but Robin lets her. It’s a silent understanding. They never mention it again
But sure enough, the next full moon, Robin finds the wolf in the same spot, and it seems almost as if it was expecting her. She talks again, keeps Nancy calm
For months this becomes routine
Finally Nancy approaches Robin, asks her to come earlier because it’s terrifying being alone
Of course Robin agrees
The time after that, Robin actually drives Nancy to the woods, a comforting hand on the girl’s thigh as she shakes with anticipation of the pain to come
Robin starts bringing books, podcasts, anything yo entertain her werewolf best friend
Once she brings a dog toy. Nancy gives her the dirtiest look (but Robin catches her chewing on it about an hour later mid ramble about bugs)
They grow a lot closer, and Nancy finally lets Robin start hanging out with her in person. Robin finds she’s in love with her best friend, and she doesn’t know how to admit it
Nancy isn’t fully herself when shifted. She admits as much to Robin that she doesn’t remember much from the full moons, but she appreciates Robin’s company
Robin decides to confess while Nancy is in this shape, thinking Nancy won’t know
Nancy hears it, deep down anyway
When Robin takes Nancy home that night, Nancy surprises her with a kiss

one of the clearest thoughts i had after seeing the eras tour live is that look what you made me do is the thesis of reputation. similarly to what she says in mad woman, she tells us that she would have let you into her castle, she would have thrown a feast, but she was forced to do something else. that sentiment encompasses her entire career — the glitter and sparkles but also the brooding and revenge. she will give you the glitter and sparkles so long as you don’t force her to also do the brooding and revenge.

I know I submitted this to Shitty Mechs Hcs already but I have... So so many Aurora & Brian friendship thoughts. There's something about those two that makes me imagine they have a deep bond based on their shared experience of having your brain, your very being, ripped out and replaced, to have your sentient thoughts overridden by codes and commands, Brian would understand what it feels like because of his switch. Also because Brian also knows what its like to have your entire flesh taken from you, your very body replaced by something metal, something cold and hard. To wonder if you are even You anymore. They're both so messed up by their Change that they would probably find comfort in their similarities.
I feel like they just have this very strong friendship & bond because of that, and that that is why Brian is Aurora's pilot, BECAUSE they have that bond based on their shared experiences, because Aurora TRUSTS Brian not to steer her where she does not WANT to go, not to make her do something she does not want to. They
The bond with Nastya will always be deeper, of course and that one is also so so very special to me obviously because they're my favourite lesbians ever, Spesbians (Space Lesbians) if you may. Their bond also just HAS to be the strongest, Nastya could not have been anything BUT her engineer, because it takes even more trust and an even stronger bond to let someone access your very insides, to be able to override codes and sentient thoughts alike.
Nastya is her engineer because she trusts Nastya not to change her codes or wirings in any way that would change Aurora herself, because she knows Nastya loves her just as she is and would never WANT to change her. Brian is her pilot because she trusts him to listen to her, to let her do her own thing and not MAKE her do something.

hey so why the fuck is princess lexa from the oathbound reality now???
(long post of me just kind of rambling)
so. lexa. right? (and also orin i guess this is about him too but i dont care about him at all sorry) she was the first fully original cel shaded skin (not counting cel shaded optional styles) it was their first real attempt at it so they looked kind of clunky and strange. which is like. understandable yeah sure. she (and orin also) come from some reality in which they are implied to be robots or cyborgs or whatever, specifically referring to someone as their “father.” its also implied lexa escaped wherever she came from and orin was sent to retrieve/rescue her. they were clearly trying to go for some kind of “anime girl thats secretly a sadistic killer robot” thing. and so their home universe is just kind of implied to be a cel shaded anime universe (similarly to other, non-original anime skins)
right. ok. so. WHY IS PRINCESS LEXA????????? NOT CEL SHADED ANYMORE?????? HUH???????????????????
this shit has fr been bothering me since she was revealed. how did that happen. what. AND THEN HER DIALOGUE WITH OTHER CHARACTERS WAS SHOWN AND SHE IS APPARENTLY FROM THE OATHBOUND MEDIEVAL REALITY NOW????????? HUH????????????????? like. i just cant stop thinking about it. and then i started thinking about it more in depth. and now im just wondering. can spending time in a reality that is not your original one (in fortnite canon at least) literally alter your fundamental appearance like that??? like. ok hear me out.
the anime legends pack. is something that released during c3s4. and it involves three random, relatively recognizable fortnite characters... becoming cel shaded

so this is something that already HAD been shown to be possible? an already existing character’s snapshot becoming cel shaded when they were not originally that way. except this also isnt the first time a previously cel shaded anime skin has gotten the ability to become un-cel shaded. the "Wish, Set, Match” quest pack from this same season also had erisa (cel shaded skin from c4s2 who is a cat princess) in a tennis outfit and also with the option to just. NOT be cel shaded. (cant find a good render that is non cel shaded but trust me it exists)
except this also ALSO isnt the first time they did this for a cel shaded anime-implied skin. because thats what they did with the academy champions set
WHICH, HEY, COMPLETELY UNRELATED TANGENT BUT: THE FUCKING ACADEMY?????????? AS IN. THE ACADEMY THAT LENOX ROSE (C3S4) IS LITERALLY STATED TO HAVE “ESCAPED” FROM????????? MULTIPLE TIMES OVER??????? NOT ONLY IN HER VERY OWN BIO BUT ALSO BY MULTIPLE NPC DIALOGUES FROM THE SEASON????? she is literally a character from some kind of television show that was putting her in danger, only referred to as “the academy.” and how she’s “The first to escape The Academy... But not the last.” (direct quote from her description) and then these mfs just come on out as the “academy champions”?????????????? what does that mean????????????? what does it mean to be the champion of this implied danganronpa ass anime show????? how did they escape???? what the fuck?? god i wish they had done literally anything with this
anyways. i dont know what my conclusion is. uh. so yeah i guess snapshots can just kind of Become cel shaded or Not cel shaded anymore. this has a lot of implications and i REALLY WISH THEY’D DO ANYTHING WITH SNAPSHOT LORE BEYOND JONESY!! im not even going to get into how much i’ve been obsessing over cuddle team leader/syd and her countless snapshots and the implications of ragsy or cuddle team master more than possibly being from mega city ANYWAYS I’M GETTING OFF TRACK! i need more people to talk about this kind of stuff with </3

Just pondering about Unleashed and I feel like Tails and Amy would be more concerned than usual about Sonic in his werehog form, just mainly cause his demeanour in general is changed so much. He’s very quiet, grunty , always frowning, not cracking jokes constantly . It’s obvious to them he dislikes his new form a LOT in the beginning, there’s even that little dialogue of Amy trying to cheer him up saying that he’s still the sonic she loves even if his appearance is different. It makes me think what kind of one on one conversations Tails would have with him to try and lift his spirits up
