dean experiences one of the most harrowing things a human can experience so he sees cas and is like omg cas gets bullied and beat up all the time and hes fine ! he can just be my punching bag :3 and then beats cas into a bloody pulp in the forest and cas doesnt show up to work the next day and dean is like fuck. he doesnt just respawn. so dean drags cas’ unconscious and almost dead body to his house and makes him a warm bath and kisses his hair and begs for him to be okay 😭

I didn’t even get through the first few chapters tbh it’s just terribly written. I don’t mind stories about bullying/abuse when they’re done with some nuance but that was just so bad lmao they meet and deans like fuck u faggot for no reason 😭

im very sorry if you've been asked this before, but i was wondering, do you have ant plans to ever re-release/repost heart of thunder? im terribly sorry if this is a bother, but i really appreciate your time!! thank you!!
No bother at all!
No promises, but someday I may post it again :) I never finished writing it way back when I started, and after Hautley's Bend was plagiarized, I took Heart of Thunder down while it was unfinished, and ended up deleting all of my notes and outlines for it, because I didn't plan on continuing to write fanfiction after the plagiarism thing. But I still love the story and would like to finish it one day - so there's always hope :)
Thank you for asking <3 It still amazes me that some people remember Heart of Thunder at all since I never got around to finishing it! It makes me more inclined to try to finish the story for those who were reading it :)

Just finished rereading Hautley's Bend and omg it's even better than I remembered! It has been so therapeutic after that finale. It's so angsty and intense, but also so fluffy and sweet (plus a healthy dose of really well-done smut). It makes me FEEL so much, which was a great distraction from my post-finale depression. Seriously, if you havent read this fic yet, do it. You wont regret it!!

So, I'm currently reading Hautley's bend and it is both one of the best written stories I've read and the most tragic one. I mean, there are a few elements I didn't know how to feel about, but it is raw, and it feels real. And the issues are complex.
I've had quite a few breakdowns at the most random moments just because it hit close to home. These type of fiction honestly deserves more attention. It's amazing.
