Okay Allie, it’s been almost 24 hours what do you think the “people like me” speech and the repercussions 🎤
I wasn’t sure if wanted to answer this so I’m going to try to be brief. I think one thing is to say that on his own shows and it’s a completely different thing saying that while accepting an award (known for being quite racist). He should have been better media trained, he needed a better speech. We know him and we understand what he meant, but after so much queerbaiting talk and homewrecker talk and all sorts of awful things being said about him in the media… we can’t expect GP to understand that as we do, he’s becoming a joke. HSHQ is playing a dangerous game for letting that happen over and over.
Hopefully, everyone will forget about it in a few days from now and we will all move on, but how many times this is going to happen and everything will be “fine”? Things are adding up, they can’t get away with it forever. We’re not talking about only internet being the internet anymore, when stuff like that happens on fucking Grammy awards, it has massive repercussions. It’s so much bigger than the internet bubble. I’m not sure if trying to “fix” things would be the better approach now, I don’t know if Harry is willing to be honest about the meaning of his speech (whatever it means). But I just think it’s concerning how many times they’re pushing their luck and when will enough be enough for people. It doesn’t look good.

Hi sugar. I don’t think Harry is being forced to work. I do worry a bit about the overexposure, but European fans were complaining he didn’t do enough shows there, now he’s giving them what they asked for. And he hasn’t done any shows at all in Asia, so it makes sense that he’d ultimately tour there, too.
My real concern is if this debacle with DWD really affects his image, they may be overestimating how quickly fans will forget that and will want to fill stadiums.
