1) Their favourite outfit

Yume: A nebula pattern crop top, holographic skater skirt and thigh high black socks, and purple shiny platform shoes (because he’s insecure about his height). Sometimes he’ll also wear an acid wash denim jacket thats covered in pins, patches and buttons

Chase: A white button up shirt with a sweater vest or cardigan, worn with grey jeans and brown brogues. He’ll sometimes add a plain tie to the look as well. Chase loves to dress formally

Lavender: A pastel pink, frilly lolita dress with a cat print, knee high socks and pastel pink high heels. She’ll finish the look with a big pink ribbon in her hair, face glitter and a cat shaped purse

Minami: A sparkly bralette with a black mesh long sleeved shirt, paired with a black skirt, fishnets and sparkly sneakers. Despite this being her favourite outfit, she doesn’t wear it often as she feels she doesn’t look good in it

Alexis: her dragon kigurumi, as it’s functional and she can also sleep in it without needing a blanket. Also because dragons are cool. It’s the second most common thing to see Alexis wearing

Phoenix: A massively oversized light pink hoodie that has red ribbon down the sleeves and goes down to just above his knees, a pair of ripped black skinny jeans and white sneakers. Depending on whether or not he’s reading, he’ll wear a pair of circular reading glasses. Phoenix optimises being comfortable but still wants to appear vaguely presentable if he goes out in public

5) A Sharp Suit

Yume: Looks like a normal suit but is probably in a wacky colour such as neon green or bright orange. Wears a bow tie that’s got some kind of pattern on it or is sparkly. Watch out for when he walks past, you’re gonna need sunglasses

Chase: A typical suit. Black jacket, vest, white shirt, black tie, the works. Probably pushes his hair back as well to complete the look. Despite wearing a normal suit, he’s still very eye catching

Lavender: Would hate wearing a suit as she doesn’t like wearing trousers. She’d insist that it had to be in a pastel colour, such as blue or pink. Would wear a bow tie that matches the jacket and pastel coloured brogues. Would spend the whole time complaining that she looks ugly

Minami: Definitely a sunshine yellow suit, with a yellow hat and yellow eyepatch to match. Would probably wear a bow tie. Wears her hair into two braids. Despite it being something she’d never wear, she looks really good in it

Alexis: A velvet, dark green suit jacket, white shirt and black tie, and dark green velvet trousers. She’d never admit it, but she feels good wearing a suit and highkey wouldn’t want to take it off as it makes her feel sophisticated and important

Phoenix: A patterned suit jacket with a shirt that matches the accent colour, and no tie. Wears trousers that match the pattern on the jacket. Like Chase, he’d probably also push his hair back and may wear his reading glasses. He looks like a whole different person

8) Red Carpet Event

Yume: Definitely wearing a dress. Not just a pretty red carpet gown either, but a eye catching, bright yet tasteful dress. Would probably be covered in fake birds or something like that. Has his nails done to match the dress and would wear heels

Chase: Probably the sharp suit mentioned before. If not, a suit made by an extremely expensive designer label that would make him brag about his looks 10 times more than he does already

Lavender: A huge, pastel pink gown that’s covered in rhinestones and sparkles. Also has little diamonds in her hair and sparkly face makeup. Definitely wears heels that are too tall so she can barely walk

Minami: A sunshine yellow knee high dress and yellow heels. The dress would definitely have a fluffy skirt and be covered in sparkles. Has a sparkly yellow eyepatch to match

Alexis: Good luck getting her to a red carpet event, but if she were to go to one she’d wear a dark green slightly shiny suit with a black tie and black shoes. Would probably also wear a smoky makeup look

Phoenix: Probably the patterned sharp suit mentioned before, or a baby blue suit with white shoes

13) Dressed by Another OC (Their Best Friend)

Yume, dressed by Chase: A grey blazer, white button up shirt without the top button done up, grey slacks and black shoes. Would also push his hair back. Chase hates to admit it, but Yume looks really good dressed like that

Chase, dressed by Yume: A mesh shirt and high waisted denim shorts, with high-top sneakers and pulled up sports socks. Would also put cute hairclips in his hair and cover his face in glitter. Chase is highly embarrassed but Yume loves every second of it

Lavender, dressed by [NAME REDACTED]: A trendy, sporty crop top and a pleated dark purple skirt, along with thigh high socks and platform sneakers. Would also do a dark makeup look on her and put her hair in one big side braid, as well as putting a stretchy headband on her. Lavender would love the refreshing look (her best friend’s name is redacted as I haven’t introduced her yet :3c)

Minami, dressed by Phoenix: A cosy, mustard yellow cardigan with long sleeves, a statement t-shirt tucked into a denim skirt and a pair of boots, as well as a mustard yellow eyepatch. Minami is surprised by Phoenix’s taste in clothes and feels really good in the outfit, but she’d have to do her own hair and makeup because he has no idea how to do any of that stuff (and he’s too embarrassed to get that close to Minami)

Alexis, dressed by [NAME REDACTED]: She wouldn’t want to put Alexis in clothes that she’s too uncomfortable in, so it’d probably be a baseball top and skinny jeans with plimsolls. Would probably also do her hair and put black stud earrings in her ears. Alexis feels like a different person in this outfit, however it’s too uncomfortable to wear all the time (Alexis’ best friend is her girlfriend, but I don’t want to say who that is for spoiler reasons and because I haven’t introduced her yet)

Phoenix, dressed by Minami: A long sleeve, vaporwave-esque shirt tucked into a pair of high waisted light blue jeans and black boots. She’d also restyle his hair so his bangs are pulled back and would put his reading glasses on him, as well as painting his nails black and putting earrings on him. He’s embarrassed to have Minami so close to him for such an extended period of time, but it makes her happy so he’s happy in the end

27) Their Current Outfit

Yume: A ¾ length sleeve sports jersey which is tucked into a black skater skirt, which he wears with thigh high socks and sneakers. He also wears a red-brown scarf and a dog tag necklace. His nails are painted dark blue with a sparkly topcoat, and he wears dark blue stud earrings and has an eyebrow piercing

Chase: A white button up shirt and tie, black slacks and brown brogues. He’ll sometimes wear a grey suit vest with it as well. His formal appearance makes him seem threatening to those who first meet him

Lavender: A pink blouse with a peter pan collar with a frilly white suspender skirt that has pink trim, as well as knee high pink and white striped socks and pink pumps. In her hair she wears a lot of pink and white bows, on her hands she has lots of plastic pink rings and pastel pink nails covered in rhinestones and sparkles. She also wears white pom pom earrings

Minami: A yellow, short sleeved t-shirt, light blue high waisted mom jeans and white sneakers. She’ll also wear a grey oversized cardigan when it’s cold. Around her neck she wears a necklace with a small key on it. Her eyepatches change daily, but her favourite is a pink one that has four red hearts on it and a frilly ribbon to tie it up with

Alexis: A vest shirt that has some kind of nerdy reference on it (e.g. lvl up!) with a pair of fleecy jogging bottoms and fuzzy slipper socks. She wears some variant of this outfit every day unless she’s wearing the dragon kigurumi mentioned before. Alexis also wears basic stud earrings and a septum ring on occasion

Phoenix: A light blue zip up hoodie that is unzipped, a white button up shirt and black ripped skinny jeans, along with a pair of beaten up old sneakers. He also wears a pair of basic silver stud earrings and an ear cuff on his right ear. Occasionally he’ll have his nails painted black by either Yume or Lavender as they like the way he looks with painted nails. Sometimes he’ll also be wearing his circular reading glasses if he’s reading or if he’s been reading and forgotten to take them off

How We Met Chp.12*

Liv's POV

It's now the day of the Met Gala. You and Shawn have woken up around 9:30AM and have been chilling out, watching movies, play fighting each other, and eventually walking around New York and eating at cute restaurant before you both had to get ready at 5:00PM.

It's now 4:45PM and you and Shawn are making your way back to your hotel to get ready because Tiffany texted him and told him that both of you should come back to get ready for the Met. You get to the hotel right at 5:00PM and head to y'alls room to see Tiffany just finish setting everything up for both of you. She tells the makeup artist to start with you because you have more to be done than Shawn does.

The makeup stylist does a black smokey eyed look with some brown blended in making your brown eyes really pop.

She does your lips with a darker red matte lipstick to compliment your whole outfit.

Then after the makeup artist is done Shawn's hair stylist does your hair, staring with curling it with a curling iron. When she's done curling your hair she takes two small sections from your hair and twisting and connecting both sections of hair with bobby pins to keep them in place.

She kinda brushes out the curls a little to complete the look, she hands you a small mirror to look at the hairdo. You see your hair is in a very elegant half up/half down hairdo and you love it. Then when your hair and make up are all done the make up and hair team go and work on Shawn while Tiffany leads you to where your dress and shoes are. You take in the beautiful dress hanging up, it's a beautiful black floral ball gown with a deep neckline, mesh lacey fabric sleeves, and a slit in the upper thigh area of the dress.

Your shoes are nudish-pink velvet heels with straps that are about 3 inches tall give or take.

You get out of your clothes and Tiffany helps you with your bra situation. You then take the dress off the rack and take the hanger out and unzip the back and shimmy into the dress and put your arms through the sleeves and Tiffany zips up your dress. Once the dress is on your body you feel like a Disney princess it fits you perfectly and looks gorgeous. You put your shoes on and finish the look.

"You look so gorgeous, just how I thought you would, I kinda wanted you and Shawn to somewhat match and wow it looks beautiful on you." Tiffany says to you while smiling really big.

"Thank you it's an absolute dream of a dress and I feel like a Disney princess in it, now I think it's time to go show Shawn and see what he thinks." You say giggling while walking into the room where Shawn is.

His reaction is everything you thought it would be and so much more, his eyes went wide and his jaw dropped for a few seconds before he started smiling hugely at you. You laugh at his reaction and settle down and notice that his hair is slicked back with golden paint all on it, he's in his underwear and an old shirt.

"You look absolutely stunning Olivia, like oh my god you're so beautiful in that dress, I can't wait to have you walk on the carpet with me so I can show everyone my beautiful girlfriend." Shawn says getting excited and smiling.

"Awe Shawn that's super sweet, and I love your hair and the gold in it, that amazing and I bet you'll look just a good as me if not more when you put your suit on." You say lovingly and kissing his cheek softly trying not to ruin your lipstick.

"Yeah I'm done anyways, so I'm gonna go put my suit on now." He says walking into the next room over and greets Tiffany and she starts handing him different parts to his suit starting the the pants, then the black under shirt, and finally the suit jacket. He's wearing a black Saint Laurant suit, the suit jacket is black with a white trim, black suit bottoms, and his black dress shoes.

Once he's done getting ready he makes his way to you and is excited to see your reaction. You take him in and he looks absolutely amazing, you smile really big and your eyes are really wide.

"You look absolutely amazing and so handsome, omg Shawn you look way better than I do that's for sure." You tell him while making your way over to stand in front of him.

"There's no way I look better than you, because you're drop dead gorgeous in that dress, and it's not just the dress it's you, you're always beautiful to me. So no I don't look better than you but thank you for the compliment." He says lifting your head up so you can look at him when he says that to you.

You lean in and give a small and short kiss hoping it doesn't ruin any of your makeup. You pull always and see him smile down at you and he leans down and kisses your cheek sweetly pulling you into a warm hug.

"Thank you Shawn you don't know how much that means to me, I love you so much." You say while hugging him.

It's now 6:50PM and you both have made your way down to the lobby and into the car that was arranged for you. The car ride is about 15 minutes due to traffics but it's fun because music is playing and the conversations are fun and interesting. The car comes to a stop and you've arrived right outside the Met.

Shawn get out first and goes around the car he opens the door to help you out if the car you smile at him and take his hand and exit the car you can tell he's being really careful not to step on your dress or slam it in the car door. You walk on the carpet a little ways before speaking up.

"Thank you that was really sweet, also I'm a little nervous but it's ok I'll be fine so long as your by my side to keep me from tripping this time." You tell him giggling at the memory of how you two met in the first place.

"You're welcome, and it's ok to be nervous I am too but we'll be alright, and yeah I'll always catch you and it's ok I thought it was cute that you tripped into me it showed me that you're just as clumsy as me and it made me really like you." He say smirking at you and then giggling at the nice memory of you tripping into him at last years Met.

You both stop and pose for pictures every few feet, you decided on a wim to kiss Shawn's cheek in one picture because why not it would be so cute and he just smiled even bigger than before and pulled you closer to him.

"That was really cheeky of you Olivia, but I liked it so I'm not gonna complain." He giggles out making you giggle too.

"I know, but I thought why not it'd be cute and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to kiss your cheek." You say laughing lightly.

You and Shawn kept walking and have made it to the bottom of the stairs and stop every few feet for more pictures.

"Are you ready for the stairs? I wouldn't want you to trip up them this time." He asks you while laughing.

"Oh you got jokes do you? Ha Ha yeah I am ready, but seriously don't let me trip or fall please that would be so awful." You tell him sarcastically and then seriously.

"I've got you love, you're not gonna trip or fall, I won't let you." He whispers sweetly in your ear.

He takes your hand and leads you both up the stairs and so far you're doing great no tripping or falling. You make it up to the halfway point and it flattens out and you both stop and pose. You see something in the corner of your eye and it's Jared Leto behind you with a fake head and you jump a little bit and grip a little harder onto Shawn's forearm getting his attention too as Jared approaches the two of you.

"Oh my god, you look great Jared, but that head just scared the shit out of me." You say laughing at what he just did. Shawn's laughing with you and he asks Jared if he can hold it and pose with it and Jared lets him. You laugh the whole time Shawn's doing his thing.

Shawn gives Jared his fake head back and you both continue up the rest of the stairs, when you reach the top you let out a small sigh of relief that you didn't trip it fall just like Shawn promised you.

"See you didn't trip or fall just like I said you wouldn't, now you don't have anything to be nervous about anymore." He whispered in your ear. You take his left hand in yours and and bring it up to your lips and kiss the back of it sweetly and shortly to show him your gratitude. He leads you both over into an interview with Liza Koshy.

You introduce yourself to Liza saying that you loved her videos on YouTube and her outfit tonight, then she gets on with the interview. (Video Above.) When the interview is over you both make your way inside the Met and find your seats, and the night goes on.

You have a wonderful evening with you loving boyfriend eating, and convincing him to dance with you, but only to the slow songs because he doesn't want to dance and you're not about making someone do something they don't want to. You finish at the actual Gala and then make your way to the after party where again you have fun and enjoy yourselves. Once you both are done you head to the hotel and both get ready for bed.

You wash your face of all the make up, and moisturize your face after washing it. You make your way to your suitcase and get your pajamas which are a black camisole tank top and some sweats that have been rolled up, you go and change into them taking your dress and shoes off.

You yawn while making your way to the bed and slipping under the covers. Shawn walks in and goes to get ready for bed too. After about 30 minutes he walks out of the bathroom freshly showered and in a t-shirt and sweats he's ready for bed. You smile brightly because his usually famous curls are back and you wouldn't have it any other way.

He makes his way to his side of the bed and climbs in the bed next to you. He quickly turns the light on the bedside table off and pulls your body to his with your back to his front and snuggles up to you kissing your cheek and saying goodnight to you, before you both close your eyes and fall into a peace slumber.

It's now your 20th Birthday and you and Shawn have been living together since New Years after he asked you to move in with him and you said yes and now you have been home with him for 3 and 1/2 weeks now and you have no idea what anyone's planned or if they have anything planned. You get up at 10:00AM, you go do your morning routine. You brush your teeth, shower, and brush your hair. You walk to your dresser and pick out a cute casual outfit.

You picked out a dusty rose colored tank top/shirt, skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and your Birkenstock's.

You did your makeup in a natural way and applied some chapstick and a little bit of nude lipstick on top of that. You left your hair alone to eventually be a wild curly mess but still very pretty.

You finally make your way into the living area and see Shawn out on the terrace in a black shirt and his signature skinny jeans, and his guitar just strumming away and humming. You smile and go join him and sit in a chair across from him, just enjoying the view of Toronto and him playing the guitar. So far it's a great day and a great start to your birthday.

"Hey babe, Camila is in town and she wants to hang out with you one on one, and she asked me to tell you to meet her at that cafe you really like at 1PM if that's alright with you." Shawn says looking at you and smiling sweetly.

You kinda give him a fake smile thinking 'did he really forget my birthday' your mood had changed a little bit from happy to kinda sad, you quickly change it hoping he doesn't catch onto how you're feeling because you don't want to make him feel bad about it. You think to yourself "I'm sure he's just really busy and that why he forgot about it."

"Yeah that fine, what are your plans today?" You ask him with hope in your eyes that he didn't forget, but just hadn't said anything yet.

"Oh I was gonna have the guys over while you're out with Mila, we were just gonna hang out maybe have a beer and order some food why?" He asks you curiously.

"No reason just wondering, I didn't want you to be bored while I was out." You say to him trying to cover up your sad mood because he forgot your birthday.

You made your way to Starbucks and Met Camila. You hugged her before you went to order your coffee. You payed for your coffee, you walk around and find a table while and sit down while you waited for your order to be called.

"So, before we start a conversation I want to say Happy Birthday girl!!!! How does it feel to finally be 21!!!!" Camila asks you excitedly hugging you once more. She then sits down waiting for her order. After a few minutes both orders are called and you get them both and head back to your table and continue the conversation.

"Thank you Camila, I'm glad someone's remembered my birthday, it's alright but could be better." You tell her feelings sad

"Wait what who forgot your birthday? Please tell me it wasn't Shawn." She asks with concern lacing her voice.

"Yeah when I woke up he wasn't in bed with me, he was out on the terrace with his guitar and he told me you wanted to meet up with me and that he was having the boys over to hang out while I was with you and that was it, no Happy Birthday or any acknowledgement of it." You say almost in tears because your boyfriend forgot your birthday.

"I'm sure he remembers it and that he's just waiting to tell you happy birthday, because how can he forget something like that you've been in a relationship for almost a year now. He wouldn't forget that." She says trying to comfort you.

"Yeah I hope you're right, anyways lets just not talk about that and talk about what else we're gonna do today." You say a little more hopeful.

"Well I was thinking that we could call Karen and Aaliyah, and meet up and maybe go shopping after this." She says to you.

"Yeah that sounds fantastic to me, I haven't seen them in a while and I miss them so much. Yeah that will be great, a girls day out just what I needed today." You say happily smiling at the thought of hanging out with Shawn's mom and sister.

~Skip to an hour later~

Karen and Aaliyah meet up with you and Camila and the first thing they do is hug you and wish you a happy birthday making your heart happy but also sad that their son and brother forgot it. You all made your way to the mall to go shopping.

"So, how have you both been, it's been a while since I saw you guys?" You ask them.

"We're doing really well, we miss seeing you and Shawn, even though you live about an hour away we still miss you guys." Karen says to you honestly.

"Yeah it gets hard being so far from my family sometimes, but I remember that you guys are not too far from us and that makes things a little bit better for me." You say sadly remembering how far you are from your family. You all have been shopping for the past two hours and your tired of shopping.

"So, what are we doing next because I'm kinda tired of shopping, maybe we can grab something to eat or whatever you guys want to do." You say hoping someone comes up with a better idea.

"Maybe we can take you home and hang out for a while how does that sound." Aaliyah says to you. You not knowing that she received a text from Shawn telling her that it's ok to bring you back to the condo because everything is all set up for your surprise party.

"Yeah that's sound good to me, let's go then." You say leading the way to your cars.

You and Camila got in her car because you walked to the cafe earlier. Karen and Aaliyah get in their own car. The drive to yours and Shawn's condo was filled with you and Camila singing to songs at the top of your lungs and laughing your heads off. You park the car in the car park of condo building, before unbuckling your seatbelt you turn to Camila and say.

"Thank you for today it means a lot that I have A girlfriend like you in my life because I didn't have a lot of friends back home that I can do this with. So, this friendship means a lot to me and on today of all days it's been a blast." You tearing up a little bit.

"Awe of course Liv I wouldn't want to do this with anyone else, your friendship means a lot to me too and I had a lot of fun today too thanks for hanging out with me." She says pulling you into a big hug.

After your sweet moment with Camila you meet up with Karen and Aaliyah. You get in the elevator and press the button for your floor and you're ready to face the music and go up to your condo. Aaliyah texted Shawn that you're almost to the condo and that if they're gonna hide they need to do so now.

You get your keys out and unlock the door and your are met with the darkness of your condo and you find it odd, you reach for the light switch and turn it on. When you do that everyone jumps out and screams "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Scaring the crap out of you making you stumble into Camila's body.

You put a hand over your heart because it's now beating a mile a minute. You look around and you see your family and friends, and your boyfriend is standing in front of all of them and he's wearing a nice white shirt and black skinny jeans and his usual black boots.

He is now making his way to you.

"Happy Birthday Liv, I love you so much." He says while hugging you in his arms. Your emotions are everywhere because you thought he forgot your birthday only to find out that he planned a whole party for you with the help of his mom, sister, and bestfriend to keep you busy and out of the condo.

"I thought you forgot that today is my birthday, and you did this, oh my heart, thank you so much Shawn this means the world to me." You say letting the a few tears fall from your eyes as the emotions take over you.

"I would never forget your birthday, and I hated making you think I did, I only did that so the guys could come help me set this up, and I flew in your family last night to make sure that they were here for this, I invited some of your friends from Marvel if you don't mind. I wanted today to be perfect for you and seeing you on the terrace thinking I forgot your birthday killed me. So, I hope you like this surprise." He says while rubbing your back and just holding you.

"I don't like it Shawn..." you say and his face falls. "I LOVE IT!" You say making him smile even bigger. You take his face in your hands and lean in and kiss him sweetly before pulling away and hugging him again.

"Thank you again Shawn I love it so much." You say taking his hand in yours before letting go and greeting everyone. You walk over to Camila and say,

"You were right, but you were also in on his plan so, thank you truly for the best birthday ever." You say while hugging her

"You too Karen and Aaliyah thank you so much for coming and keeping me company today you've made my birthday so memorable and for helping Shawn plan all this it means everything to me." You say to them hugging them individually.

You have a constant smile on your face for the rest of the night. After a few hours of everyone hanging fun, conversing, cutting cake, and opening presents everyone but family has all left. You see Karen and your mom cleaning everything up while your families are in the living area talking. You get up and go to help them clean up.

"No baby you don't have to help clean it's your birthday." Your mom tells you.

"But momma I want to help, let me help, what can I do?" You ask her and she tells you to do the dishes. Halfway through you washing the dishes you feel two strong arms wrap around your waist. You know it's Shawn because of the guitar and swallow tattoos on his right hand and forearm, you smile as he pulls you into his body.

"I love you so much Olivia, Happy 21st Birthday Love. I'm glad I got to celebrate today with you." He mumbles into your neck. He kisses your neck softly before turning your around to face him.

"Thank you so much for this Shawn, seriously it's the best birthday I've had in a long time, and I love you too, you have made me the happiest girl in the world, in the past year, from letting me come on tour with you, just having lazy days with you, going to major events as your plus one, and to all the amazing dates you take me on. I couldn't ask for a better person to share these moments of my life with you have made today the best birthday ever thank you Shawn." You say while rubbing your thumb on his cheek and over his little scar that you adore.

He leans in and kisses you with so much love and passion it makes you forgot where you were for a second. One of your hands move to hold in between his face and neck, and the other is playing is in his hair as Shawn deepens the kiss. His hands are on your waist holding you close to him.

He moves you both and pushes you up against the edge of the sink to keep you steady because your knees almost gave out from the kiss. He smiles into the kiss making you smile too. You pull out of the kiss to breathe and your both breathing heavy.

You pull him back in for another kiss this one a little shorter than the last but only because both your families are in the next room and you do have to finish washing the dishes. His arms are still wrapped around your waist and pulling you into a hug.

"I have to finish washing the dishes and then we can do more of that once everyone leaves ok?" You ask him and nods his head smiling at you.

"Do you want me to wash the dishes while you dry them and put them away it'll get done faster?" He asks you and you smile at him.

"Only if you don't mind helping me." You say sheepishly.

After about 15 minutes later all the dishes are done and you both are back in the living room siting next to each other holding hands and snuggled up on the couch talking to your families. After a while your families get up and and start making their way to the door, you make sure to hug and say goodbye to all of them not forgetting anyone.

After seeing everyone out of the condo and saying your goodbyes, you walk around and notice that Shawn is nowhere to be seen. So you make your way to the bedroom only to hear the water from the shower running in the bathroom connected to your room. You smile and walk in the bathroom and you instantly hear Shawn's beautiful angelic voice singing from the shower.

You stop in your tracks and listen for a second and you recognize the song he's singing, it's Perfect by Ed Sheeran. That song is your favorite song at the moment because it reminds you of your relationship with Shawn. You continue walking over to the small closet in the bathroom and grab a soft white towel and set it on the counter top by the sink.

You slowly walk to the door of the shower that is now covered in steam and small water droplets from the heat and water running. "I'm assuming everyone has left already? Or else you wouldn't be in here." He asks smirking at you making you giggle quietly.

"Yeah they all left and everything is cleaned and taken care of." You tell him still hugging him close to you. After a few minutes of you two just holding each other Shawn breaks the silence.

"Hey Liv, I know we've been spending a lot of time with each other with being on tour, just being around one another a lot, and being on social media a lot too I was just wondering are you still ok with all of this like are you really sure you want to still be with me, because I know it's a lot to take in with me being famous and in the spotlight all the time I just want you to be sure this is still what you really want." Shawn says seriously and with concern lacing his voice with a little bit of anxiousness.

You take a few seconds to really digest what he just asked you and you've come to the conclusion that you wouldn't want to be with anyone else and that you truly do love all of him every single thing about him is everything you want in a man. You gently grab his face with both hands and make him look you in the eyes before speaking.

"Shawn there is literally no one else I would rather be with, yeah we spend a lot of time together with tour, big events, and even on social media, but it's all beneficial for the both of us because we're learning new things about each other and growing in our relationship, and I wouldn't trade any of that for the world. I love you and if I have to deal with paparazzi following us everywhere, hate on my social media posts, and even excited fans then I will because I love you and nothing and no one is going to change that. I assure you I'm fine with it, and you're everything that I want and what I'll always want." You tell Shawn rubbing you thumb back and forth over his soft wet cheek.

He looks at you and sees that you're telling the truth and that you feel one hundred percent of what you just told him. His arms move around your waist and your left arm goes around his upper back and your right hand is placed on the side of his face as he pulls you into him. You both walk to your sides of the bed and crawl under the covers, you lean into Shawn and sweetly kiss him goodnight. You snuggle up to him and fall asleep to the sound of his strong heartbeat.

How We Met! Part 12.1

It’s now May 6, 2019 the day of the Met Gala. You and Shawn have woken up around 9:30AM and have been chilling out, watching movies, play fighting each other, and eventually walking around New York and eating at cute restaurant before you both had to get ready at 5:00PM.

It’s now 4:45PM and you and Shawn are making your way back to your hotel to get ready because Tiffany texted him and told him that both of you should come back to get ready for the Met. You get to the hotel right at 5:00PM and head to y’alls room to see Tiffany just finish setting everything up for both of you. She tells the makeup artist to start with you because you have more to be done than Shawn does.

The makeup stylist does a black smokey eyed look with some brown blended in making your brown eyes really pop. She does your lips with a darker red matte lipstick to compliment your whole outfit. Then after the makeup artist is done Shawn’s hair stylist does your hair, staring with curling it with a curling iron. When she’s done curling your hair she takes two small sections from your hair and twisting and connecting both sections of hair with bobby pins to keep them in place.

She kinda brushes out the curls a little to complete the look, she hands you a small mirror to look at the hairdo. You see your hair is in a very elegant half up/half down hairdo and you love it. Then when your hair and make up are all done the make up and hair team go and work on Shawn while Tiffany leads you to where your dress and shoes are. You take in the beautiful dress hanging up, it’s a beautiful black floral ball gown with a deep neckline, mesh lacey fabric sleeves, and a slit in the upper thigh area of the dress. Your shoes are nudish-pink heels with straps that are about 3 inches tall give or take.

“You look so gorgeous, just how I thought you would, I kinda wanted you and Shawn to somewhat match and wow it looks beautiful on you.” Tiffany says to you while smiling really big.

“Thank you it’s an absolute dream of a dress and I feel like a Disney princess in it, now I think it’s time to go show Shawn and see what he thinks.” You say giggling while walking into the room where Shawn is.

“You look absolutely stunning Olivia, like oh my god you’re so beautiful in that dress, I can’t wait to have you walk on the carpet with me so I can show everyone my beautiful girlfriend.” Shawn says getting excited and smiling.

“Awe Shawn that’s super sweet, and I love your hair and the gold in it, that amazing and I bet you’ll look just a good as me if not more when you put your suit on.” You say lovingly and kissing his cheek softly trying not to ruin your lipstick.

“Yeah I’m done anyways, so I’m gonna go put my suit on now.” He says walking into the next room over and greets Tiffany and she starts handing him different parts to his suit starting the the pants, then the black under shirt, and finally the suit jacket. He’s wearing a black Saint Laurant suit, the suit jacket is black with a white trim, black suit bottoms, and his black dress shoes.

Once he’s done getting ready he makes his way to you and is excited to see your reaction. You take him in and he looks absolutely amazing, you smile really big and your eyes are really wide.

“You look absolutely amazing and so handsome, omg Shawn you look way better than I do that’s for sure.” You tell him while making your way over to stand in front of him.

“There’s no way I look better than you, because you’re drop dead gorgeous in that dress, and it’s not just the dress it’s you, you’re always beautiful to me. So no I don’t look better than you but thank you for the compliment.” He says lifting your head up so you can look at him when he says that to you.

You lean in and give a small and short kiss hoping it doesn’t ruin any of your makeup. You pull always and see him smile down at you and he leans down and kisses your cheek sweetly pulling you into a warm hug.

“Thank you Shawn you don’t know how much that means to me, I love you so much.” You say while hugging him.

It’s now 6:50PM and you both have made your way down to the lobby and into the car that was arranged for you. The car ride is about 15 minutes due to traffics but it’s fun because music is playing and the conversations are fun and interesting. The car comes to a stop and you’ve arrived right outside the Met.

Shawn get out first and goes around the car he opens the door to help you out if the car you smile at him and take his hand and exit the car you can tell he’s being really careful not to step on your dress or slam it in the car door. You walk on the carpet a little ways before speaking up.

“Thank you that was really sweet, also I’m a little nervous but it’s ok I’ll be fine so long as your by my side to keep me from tripping this time.” You tell him giggling at the memory of how you two met in the first place.

“You’re welcome, and it’s ok to be nervous I am too but we’ll be alright, and yeah I’ll always catch you and it’s ok I thought it was cute that you tripped into me it showed me that you’re just as clumsy as me and it made me really like you.” He say smirking at you and then giggling at the nice memory of you tripping into him at last years Met.

He holds his arm out for you to take and you both walk down the carpet some more hearing screams from fans, shouts from photographers, and seeing the flashing lights. Everyone now knows that you two have arrived. You haven’t made it to the stairs yet but you just got onto the carpet. You both stop and pose for pictures every few feet, you decided on a wim to kiss Shawn’s cheek in one picture because why not it would be so cute and he just smiled even bigger than before and pulled you closer to him.

“That was really cheeky of you Olivia, but I liked it so I’m not gonna complain.” He giggles out making you giggle too.

“I know, but I thought why not it’d be cute and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to kiss your cheek.” You say laughing lightly. You and Shawn kept walking and have made it to the bottom of the stairs and stop every few feet for more pictures.

“Are you ready for the stairs? I wouldn’t want you to trip up them this time.” He asks you while laughing.

“Oh you got jokes do you? Ha Ha yeah I am ready, but seriously don’t let me trip or fall please that would be so awful.” You tell him sarcastically and then seriously.

“I’ve got you love, you’re not gonna trip or fall, I won’t let you.” He whispers sweetly in your ear. He takes your hand and leads you both up the stairs and so far you’re doing great no tripping or falling. You make it up to the halfway point and it flattens out and you both stop and pose. You see something in the corner of your eye and it’s Jared Leto behind you with a fake head and you jump a little bit and grip a little harder into Shawn’s forearm getting his attention too as Jared approaches the two of you.

“Oh my god, you look great Jared, but that head just scared the shit out of me.” You say laughing at what he just did. Shawn’s laughing with you and he asks Jared if he can hold it and pose with it and Jared lets him. You laugh the whole time Shawn’s doing his thing.

Shawn gives Jared his fake head back and you both continue up the rest of the stairs, when you reach the top you let out a small sigh of relief that you didn’t trip it fall just like Shawn promised you.

“See you didn’t trip or fall just like I said you wouldn’t, now you don’t have anything to be nervous about anymore.” He whispered in your ear. You take his left hand in yours and and bring it up to your lips and kiss the back of it sweetly and shortly to show him your gratitude. He leads you both over into an interview with Liza Koshy.

You have a wonderful evening with you loving boyfriend eating, and convincing him to dance with you, but only to the slow songs because he doesn’t want to dance and you’re not about making someone do something they don’t want to. You finish at the actual Gala and then make your way to the after party where again you have fun and enjoy yourselves. Once you both are done you head to the hotel and both get ready for bed.

You yawn while making your way to the bed and slipping under the covers. Shawn walks in and goes to get ready for bed too. After about 30 minutes he walks out of the bathroom freshly showered and in a t-shirt and sweats he’s ready for bed. You smile brightly because his usually famous curls are back and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

~Skip to 3 and 1/2 weeks later~

It’s now your 21st Birthday and you and Shawn have been living together since a couple days after the Met. He asked you to move in with him and you said yes and now you have been home with him for 3 and 1/3 weeks, and you have no idea what anyone’s planned or if they have anything planned. You get up at 10:00AM, you go do your morning routine. You brush your teeth, shower, and brush your hair. You walk to your dresser and pick out a cute casual outfit.

You picked out a dusty rose colored tank top/shirt, skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and your Birkenstock’s. You did your makeup in a natural way and applied some chapstick and a little bit of nude lipstick on top of that. You left your hair alone to eventually be a wild curly mess but still very pretty.

“Hey babe, Camila is in town and she wants to hang out with you one on one, and she asked me to tell you to meet her at that cafe you really like at 1PM if that’s alright with you.” Shawn says looking at you and smiling sweetly.

You kinda give him a fake smile thinking ‘did he really forget my birthday’ your mood had changed a little bit from happy to kinda sad, you quickly change it hoping he doesn’t catch onto how you’re feeling because you don’t want to make him feel bad about it. You think to yourself “I’m sure he’s just really busy and that why he forgot about it.”

“Yeah that absolutely fine, what are your plans today?” You ask him with hope in your eyes that he didn’t forget, but just hadn’t said anything yet.

“Oh I was gonna have the guys over while you’re out with Mila, we were just hang out maybe have a beer and order some food why?” He asks you curiously.

“No reason just wondering, I didn’t want you to be bored while I was out.” You say to him trying to cover up your dad mood because he forgot your birthday.

~Skip to 1PM~

You made your way to Starbucks and Met Camila. You hugged her before you went to order your coffee. You payed for your coffee and you walk around and find a table while and sit down you waited for your order to be called.

“So, before we start a conversation I want to say Happy Birthday girl!!!! How does it feel to finally be 21!!!!” Camila asks you excitedly hugging you once more. “Yeah when I woke up he wasn’t in bed with me, he was out on the terrace with his guitar and he told me you wanted to meet up with me and that he was having the boys over to hang out while I was with you and that was it, no Happy Birthday or any acknowledgement of it.” You say almost in tears that your boyfriend forgot your birthday.

“I’m sure he remembers it and that he’s waiting to tell you happy birthday, because how can he forget something like that.” She says trying to comfort you.

“Yeah I hope you’re right, anyways lets just not talk about that and talk about what else we’re gonna do today.” You say a little more hopeful.

“Well I was thinking that we could call Karen and Aaliyah, and meet up and maybe go shopping after this.” She says to you.

“Yeah that sounds fantastic to me, I haven’t seen them in a while and I miss them so that will be great, a girls day out.” You say happily smiling at the thought of hanging out with Shawn’s mom and sister.

~Skip to an hour later~

Karen and Aaliyah meet up with you and Camila and the first think they do is hug you and wish you a happy birthday making your heart happy but also sad that their son and brother forgot it. You all made your way to the mall to go shopping.

“So, how have you both been, it’s been a while since I saw you guys?” You ask them.

“We’re doing really well, we miss seeing you and Shawn, even though you live about an hour away we still miss you guys.” Karen says to you honestly.

“Yeah it gets hard being so far from my family sometimes, but I remember that you guys are not too far from us and that makes things a little bit better for me.” You say sadly remembering how far you are from your family. You all have been shopping for the past two hours and your tired of shopping.

“So, what are we doing next because I’m kinda tired of shopping, maybe we can grab something to eat or whatever you guys want to do.” You say hoping someone comes up with a better idea.

“Maybe we can take you home and hang out for a while how does that sound.” Aaliyah says to you. You not knowing that she received a text from Shawn telling her that it’s ok to bring her back to the condo because everything is all set up for your surprise party.

“Yeah that’s sound good to me, let’s go then.” You say leading the way to your cars, you and Camila got in one car and Karen and Aaliyah in the other. The drive to yours and Shawn’s condo was filled with you and Camila singing to songs at the top of your lungs and laughing your heads off. You park the car in the car park of condo building, before unbuckling your seatbelt you turn to Camila and say.

“Thank you for today it means a lot that I have A girlfriend like you in my life because I didn’t have a lot of friends back home that I can do this with, so this friendship means a lot to me and on today of all days it’s been a blast.” You tearing up a little bit.

“Awe of course Liv I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else, your friendship means a lot to me too and I had a lot of fun today too thanks for hanging out with me.” She says pulling you into a big hug.

After your sweet moment with Camila you meet up with Karen and Aaliyah. You get in the elevator and press the button for your floor and you’re ready to face the music and go up to your condo. Aaliyah texted Shawn that you’re almost to the condo and that if they’re gonna hide they need to do so now.

You get your keys out and unlock the door and your are met with the darkness of your condo and you find it odd, you reach for the light switch and turn it on. When you do that everyone jumps out and screams “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” Scaring the crap out of you making you stumble into Camilas body.

You put a hand over your heart because it’s now beating a mile a minute. You look around and you see your family and friends, but your boyfriend is standing in front of all of them and he’s wearing a nice white shirt and black skinny jeans and his usual black boots. He is now making his way to you.

“Happy Birthday Liv, I love you so much.” He says while hugging you in his arms. Your emotions are everywhere because you thought he forgot your birthday only to find out that he planned a whole party for you with the help of his mom, sister, and bestfriend.

“I thought you forgot that today is my birthday, and you did this oh my heart, thank you so much Shawn this means the world to me.” You say letting the tears fall from your eyes as the emotions take over you.

“I would never forget your birthday, and I hated making you think I did, I only did that so the guys could come help me set this up, and I flew in your family last night to make sure that they were here for this, I invited some of your friends from Marvel is you don’t mind. I wanted today to be perfect for you and seeing you on the terrace thinking I forgot your birthday killed me so, I hope you like this surprise.” He says while rubbing your back and just holding you.

“I don’t like it Shawn...” you say and his face falls. “I LOVE IT!” You say making him smile even bigger. You take his face in your hands and lean in and kiss him sweetly before pulling away and hugging him again.

“Thank you again Shawn I love it so much.” You say taking his hand in yours before letting go and greeting everyone.

You walk over to Camila and say, “You were right, but you were also in on his plan so, thank you truly for the best birthday ever.” You say while hugging her.

“You too Karen and Aaliyah thank you so much for coming and keeping me company today you’ve made my birthday so memorable and for helping Shawn plan all this it means everything to me.” You say to them hugging them individually.

You have a constant smile on your face for the rest of the night. After a few hours of everyone hanging fun, conversing, cutting cake, and opening presents everyone but family has all left you see Karen and your mom cleaning everything up while your families are in the living area talking. You get up and go to help them clean up.

“No baby you don’t have to help clean it’s your birthday.” Your mom tells you.

“But mom I want to help, let me help, what can I do?” You ask her and she tells you to do the dishes. Halfway through you washing the dishes you feel two strong arms wrap around your waist. You know it’s Shawn because of the guitar tattoo on his right forearm and the swallow tattoo as well, you smile as he pulls you into his body.

“I love you so much Olivia Happy 21st Birthday Love. I’m glad I got to celebrate today with you.” He mumbles into your neck. He kisses your neck softly before turning your around to face him.

“Thank you so much for this Shawn, seriously it’s the best birthday I’ve had in a long time, and I love you too you have made me the happiest girl in the world in the past year from letting me come on tour with you, just having lazy days with you, going to major events as your plus one, to all the amazing dates you take me on. I couldn’t ask for a better person to share these moments of my life with you have made today the best birthday ever thank you Shawn.” You say while rubbing your thumb on his cheek and over his little scar that you adore.

He leans in and kisses you with so much love and passion that makes you forgot where you were for a second. One of your hands move to hold in between his face and neck, and the other is playing is in his hair as Shawn deepens the kiss. His hands are on your waist holding you close to him. He moves you both and pushes you up against the edge of the sink to keep you steady because your knees almost gave out from the kiss. He smiles into the kiss making you smile into it too. You pull out of the kiss to breathe and your both breathing heavy.

“I have to finish washing the dishes and then we can do more of that once everyone leaves ok?” You ask him and nods his head smiling at you.

“Do you want me to wash the dishes while you dry them and put them away it’ll get done faster?” He asks you and you smile at him.

“Only if you don’t mind helping me.” You say sheepishly.

After about 15 minutes later all the dishes are done and you both are back in the living room siting next to each other holding hands and snuggled up on the couch talking to your families. After a while your families get and and start making their way to the door, you make sure to hug and say goodbye to all of them not forgetting anyone.

After seeing everyone out of the condo and saying your goodbyes you walk around and notice that Shawn is nowhere to be seen. So you make your way to the bedroom only to hear the water from the shower running in the bathroom connected to your room. You smile and walk in the bathroom and you instantly hear Shawn’s beautiful angelic voice singing.

You stop in your tracks and listen for a second and you recognize the song he’s singing it’s Perfect by Ed Sheeran. That song is your favorite song at the moment because it reminds you of your relationship with Shawn. You continue walking over to the small closet in the bathroom and grab a white soft towel and set it on the counter top by the sink.

“Hey Liv, I know we’ve been spending a lot of time with each other with being on tour, just being around one another a lot, and being on social media a lot too I was just wondering are you still ok with all of this like are you really sure you want to still be with me because I know it’s a lot to take in with me being famous and in the spotlight all the time I just want you to be sure this is still what you really want.” Shawn says seriously and with concern lacing his voice with a little bit of anxiousness.

You take a few seconds to really digest what he just asked you and you’ve come to the conclusion that you wouldn’t want to be with anyone else and that you truly do love all of him every single thing about him is everything you want in a man. You gently grab his face with both hands and make him look you in the eyes before speaking.

“Shawn there is literally no one else I would rather be with, yeah we spend a lot of time together with tour, big events, and even on social media, but it’s all beneficial for the both of us because we’re learning new things about each other and growing in our relationship with each other and I wouldn’t trade any of that for the world. I love you and if I have to deal with paparazzi following us everywhere, hate on my social media posts, and even excited fans then I will because I love you and nothing and no one is going to change that. I assure you I’m fine with it, and you’re everything that I want and what I’ll always want.” You tell Shawn rubbing you thumb back and forth over his soft wet cheeks.

He looks at you and sees that you’re telling the truth and that you feel one hundred percent of what you just told him.
