10 years wedding anniversary party | 28.09.2023
There was and idea born in my head some time ago, of nineteen years old Harry searching for his wedding outfit and Louis walking on him while Harry looks at wedding dresses. Louis wraps himself around Harry from the back and looks at screen with him. His voice is soft when he's asking if that's something that Harry would want to wear. Harry's answer 'maybe' is actually an honest one. He's not sure if he's ready for that step before so many people, outside safe space of their home. He's not sure if people are ready for it either, so he just settles for saying 'maybe on some anniversary' and they move to the kitchen to make pancakes for dinner.
10 years later Harry is finally ready.

The details and characterization... I don't wanna spoil it to anyone but this one is worth a whole night reading. It is so wonderful! Pure talent goes into writing this and you have it!

Working alongside each other as camp counsellors, Harry and Louis grow closer than they’ve ever been before. That’s not a problem, but now they have these newfound feelings for each other to deal with.
This fic reminded me of my own summer camp experiences and it was nice to picture the settings and everything. Of course, friends to lovers and the pining got me real good... Love how it played out!

But he did have to admit that hearing Harry's reaction everyday was definitely worth it. Not being a morning person might be his downfall in this situation, though. Talk about self sabotage.
This fic made me laugh a lot especially the notes and when Lou got caught! It is a delight to read!

Seeing H struggling in this was hard, but I am glad he finally faced his fears and confronted his family. This was a nice twist on the song and original movie of course!

Let alone in the middle of the emergency ward hallway. Harry can hear the complaints now: ‘these are the people we’re supposed to trust with our lives?”

Oh, I love this!! For my own I’ll pick this one:

The first time they see each other is when they are toddlers, playing out in the yard. Louis remembers sitting on the perfectly trimmed lawn and getting yelled at for picking at the soft blades of grass; she remembers looking over, across the narrow but deep and wild river, and watching another little girl, out in a different garden, picking flowers for her mother.
She remembers carefully raising her hand and waving—her little heart beating hard in her chest, as if she had done something dangerous, something forbidden, even though back then she could not understand the true divide the River made amongst them.
