I didn't realize this side blog has 300+ followers?
Random tamagotchi thoughts incoming:
My first tamagotchi was a green Connection (1), I've been collecting them ever since.
Currently running purple Uni, pink Smart, and a gen1 re-release in comic book shell 💛❤️💙
One of my favorite characters is King Spacytchi, and I actually relate to him more than devil mametchi.
My first adult was Hanatchi, his name was Spike.
I miss the naming feature!
Tama Uni gives us personalities + accessories, but if we got to name them, they would have a lot more individuality.
Names were my favorite feature.
Mixing genes was my new favorite feature.
And I remember when the shop came out in Connection V2, the shock that you could win points and get more items than the default character item.. My favorite item was the shovel. Was there a treasure chest too?
The shovel had a satisfying sound.
My favorite tamagotchi shells I had were: glow in the dark V4 (white and green), and pink mosaic v 4.5
My favorite new tamagotchi shell is teal wondergarden. The glitter is so magical.
I would like to develop my own tamagotchi someday using the character designs from my monster design sideblog.
One of my most memorable tamagotchi moments was teen ichigotchi on my connection v1. It was the most beautiful thing to see them evolve and take these different shapes. I was hooked forever

Hi! Are you sure the skill point requirements for universal adults on your V4 growth chart are correct? It says you get universal adults with less than 50 total skill points, but I just had a Hinotamatchi evolve into Togetchi while having only 42 total skill points.
I also had a Young Dorotchi evolve into Hanatchi with 55 total skill points on a different V4, but I think that might be because that V4 has a later ROM version.
No, I'm not really sure about the requirements for the adults on the V4. I mainly focused on figuring out which teens each toddler could become.
I think weight and other care factors may be related, but it's hard to know for sure.

Tamagotchi Evolution!
Evolution to death demonstrated through various Tamagotchis, as listed below from left to right:
DNAtchi, Hanatchi, Kuromarutchi, Otototchi, Ashigyotchi, Ukitchi, Dotetchi, Genjintchi, Ojitchi, and Gaikotchi.
Most of these are from the 1997 Genjintch (Caveman) Tamagotchi is focused on he evolution of humankind (in tamagotchi form)!
I’m upscaling a lot of tamagotchi sprites into high-res images atm so If anyone wants any doing for their fave tamagotchis let me know. Or, check out my posts on the tamagotchi subreddit (r/tamagotchi) at @Stickalithus.

I finally got my beautiful worm daughter on the version 4 tamagotchi! She’s a Hanatchi, but her name is Annabelle. I don’t know what’s she’s gonna be yet! Either a Scientist, a Doctor, or a Reporter. I’m gonna try and keep her alive (and a Hanatchi) as long as possible!

Tamagotchi On Family Tree 1
Since I'm putting the On down for a while I thought I'd show my family tree so far
I dunno why Lamptchi's wife has black lines when she had the same line color of her son-in-law
Pic as example(She not only had the blue lines in this marriage scene but also when she visited during New Years on the actual device)
I kinda started off marrying whoever I want or marrying other users but I'm thinking of trying the Tamadex that the MixingMeet has. The site has premade accounts setup the moment you join the app for the first time(you'll have to start over if using the app on another device) & when you log into the site using it(password is in the challenge section of the app).
On the site is a thing called a Tamadex were you can keep track of what traits you got from marrying the available Tamas for the MixingMeet. It's kinda interesting to see what I managed to get so eventually I plan to do the Tamadex challenge before going back to marrying tamas I like.
Here's the tamas(with the pet they had when they got married) by name
I say this all the time but the names are inspired by the parent I didn't raise cause I have no better names to choose especially due to never knowing how they'll turn out when they grow up(the same could be said about everyone but at least when I'm naming OCs I have an idea what I'm doing kinda since I already set them up)
Some of these might look odd cause I used a screenshot/screen record app that saved things a png files but for a little I screenshot these using the phone's way to screenshot(holding down certain buttons) but that led to them being jpgs
Gens are color coded(couldn't think of another way to mention which was what gender) & if they have a twin then the names are in order of who was named first/is considered the main twin(as in their name is on the family photo & the device focuses on them more than the other twin)
Gen1: Kuromametchi(didn't get to name him)
Gen2: Sweetchi
Gen3: Mochitchi & Dumplingtchi(Mochitchi got married but I pretend it was DUmplingtchi cause I felt bad)
Gen4: Magitchi
Gen5: Omelettetchi & Appletchi(Omelettetchi got married)
Gen6: KuBuntchi
Gen7: Lamptchi
Gen8: Hanatchi & Buntchi(Hanatchi got married)
Gen9: Pupcloudtchi(I mistakenly deleted his pic standing at the entrance to the "park" on the MixingMeet like everyone else so here's him on the family tree)
Gen10: Coraltchi

My Mesutchi Osutchi pair came in the mail today! Since I'd never run a vintage tama before, learning that the back was meant to keep the batteries in on its own was an adventure. Their shells are a little worn but that's okay, they're old! The Mesutchi's screen is a bit dimmer too, but in fair trade, the Osutchi's buttons are a little hard to press. Still, I love these two and I'm excited to run them!
