This is a scene I had wanted to draw since I first listened to it back in...what, 2018? During my first listen of RQG. I've started a relisten of it and now that I'm no longer commuting long hours to and from work I can actually sit down and draw when I'm inspired to do so. So here we have a scene from Episode 44: Rock Bottom

The torch light sweeps across the cliff face…and for one horrifying moment, it is outlined in front of you. You are about a foot away from it. It is the most hideous amalgamation of limbs. There are tentacles with eyes, there are legs on the end of tentacles, there are barbs everywhere. There is no part of its misshapen torso that doesn't have a limb coming out of it, apart from a circular mouth, and that mouth and teeth within teeth within teeth. And it is…it has a long snaking tongue that is basically powering out towards you. It gives that raw roar.

Azu: Okay, we wanna hear everything. Hamid, get the wine. Wilde, does this end well or do we need tissues?

Wilde: Oh, it ended very well.

Hamid: Don't start without me! Do NOT start without me!

Azu: Okay, alright, let’s hear about the kiss. Was it a soft brush against your lips or was it like a, you know, “I gotta have you now” kind of thing?

Wilde: Well, at first it was really intense, you know? And then we just sort of sunk into it.

Azu: Oooh... So, okay, was he holding you? Or were his hands on your back?

Wilde: First they started out on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my hair.

Hamid and Azu: Oooohhh.

*meanwhile*

Zolf eating pizza in his house: And, uh, and then I kissed him.

Sasha: Tongue?

Zolf: Yeah.

Sasha: Nice.

Finally finished this! It took longer than I expected, but was great practice for the coloring especially. Character choices are literally just all the lovely PC's + my two favorite NPC's (to explain Carter and Einstein) holding everyone's favorite NPC (bold statement but am I wrong??) Wilde. Bertie is there for some reason. Mainly drew this so I could have an RQG header image, because I love this podcast.

They have very different climbing skill levels.

Cel: “Fascinating! Indeed very cool, but the potential is untapped! What if it SHOT knives instead of simply dispensing them? Or electric knives!”

Sasha: “Or bombs?”

Cel: “Bombs! That's a good idea. Perhaps we could simply-”

and the rest of the text is cut off.

The fourth image shows Cel and Sasha from farther away and they get more into detail for their ideas. Sasha has her arms raised in excitement and Cel seems to be explaining something thoroughly. There are small images of weaponry around their heads as if to illustrate their ideas simply. The images are of bombs, explosions, eels, electricity, knives, potions, fangs, and dead people.

Hamid is in the foreground pointed towards the two of them with a worried expression on his face. Hamid is an Egyptian halfling with dark skin, dark curly hair, and a three piece suit on. There is a dialogue bubble above his head that reads:

 RQG requests #25, IDIOT 20-SOMETHINGS!!! i’m not going to lie, this request Was a little intimidating because i had no idea how to make this funny or channel their twenty-somethingness in any way so i- ahem. had to unearth some memories from high school where, uh. chocolate milk with rum was a thing? and it was cursèd but people made it anyway and it was kind of a meme so. um. here they are. enjoy ¿?

 in all seriousness, i fucking love this one. i think the fuckin faces and scribbles are on point, honestly. they’re all just SO no thoughts head empty. i love them. it’s been done for weeks and i still giggle whenever i see it. i relate to this holder-of-the-braincell grizzop but like, that was me at 16 to my classmates. yeah.

 anyway, i imagine that, after getting all fixed up, sasha Would be pretty down to do weird shit just because she’s alive. i love her. it’s what she deserves. i miss season 3

How I think RQG Characters would react to being given a gun

Sasha: Fascinated by the mechanics of how it works, but doesn't actually like it as a weapon because it's so loud. she tries it out once or twice and everyone hides

Grizzop: He thinks it's more efficient and practical than a bow, but he prays to Artemis before using it for the first time to make sure she's ok with it

Cel: Immediately tries to figure out if they can use it to make their explosions bigger. Or maybe add it to their village's tank? What about if we make it shoot electric bullets? Or maybe...

Azu: Handles it very gingerly, scared of shooting it accidentally. She's not entirely sure how it works, but she prefers to kill people with her axe anyway.

Hamid: "Well, i mean, it's not bad, but i can still hurt more people with a Fireball!"

Zolf: Keeps it in his room as an emergency weapon, is actually not too bad at using it but still prefers his glaive

Bertie: Oh no. By the love of God do not give Sir Bertrand a gun. You can't even imagine the casualties
