I always admire the new Gion Matsuri kanzashi designs when I spot them worn by maiko each year, but this time I decided to have a bit of a play myself and create my own design! For my own design I went for chidori and water swirls and a cute white and violet background flowers. I used sparkly iridescent crystals for the middles for a more cooling effect.
