The sculpture is neighboured by several important Buddhist Spiritual sites and meditation retreat centers. Neydo Tashi Choling Monastery, Tegchen Leksheyling Retreat Centre, Palyal Samten Osel Ling. Yanglesho Cave and Asurva Cave are nearby the place.
Pharping, about 23 km from Kathmandu, is a great escape to immerse in nature, culture, peace, and spirituality.

"What are the four noble truths?
Buddhism’s famed four truths are called noble because they liberate us from suffering.
They are the Buddha’s basic teaching, encapsulating the entire Buddhist path.
1. Suffering
Life always involves suffering, in obvious and subtle forms.
Even when things seem good, we always feel an undercurrent of anxiety and uncertainty inside.
2. The Cause of Suffering
The cause of suffering is craving and fundamental ignorance.
We suffer because of our mistaken belief that we are a separate, independent, solid “I.”
The painful and futile struggle to maintain this delusion of ego is known as samsara, or cyclic existence.
3. The End of Suffering
The good news is that our obscurations are temporary.
They are like passing clouds that obscure the sun of our enlightened nature, which is always present.
Therefore, suffering can end because our obscurations can be purified and awakened mind is always available to us.
4. The Path
By living ethically, practicing meditation, and developing wisdom, we can take exactly the same journey to enlightenment and freedom from suffering that the buddhas do.
We too can wake up."

This past Monday, Guru Rinpoche Day, I was able to attend my first Ganachakra. It was an amazing experience. Have I mentioned how much I love the Vajra Kula?

All the experiences of rainbow lights are the natural manifestations of your mind. The peaceful and wrathful forms are the natural forms of your mind. All sounds are your own sounds. All lights are your own lights. Have no doubt about that. If you do feel doubt, it throws you back into samsara. ~ Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava

Guru Tsongkhapa (Ganden Lha Gyäma) appeared in Tibet in the 14th century as the great revitalizer of Tibetan Buddhism. He is also known as Je Rinpoche. He is believed to be the manifestation of Guru Rinpoche himself. Guru Tsongkhapa emphasized the value of discipline in monastic institutions and the value of academic persuits and practice. He founded the Gelugpa tradition and among his closest disciples was Gedun Drub, later known as the First Dalai Lama. He is said to be the emanation of Bodhisattva Manjushree. He is depicted holding a sword and a book and in a jolly mood. He wears the traditional monastic robes and is crowned with a yellow pandita hat with flaps. Hats are one of the most unique and interesting features of Himalayan and Tibetan art. They are also the most important characteristic to look for when trying to identify religious teachers in paintings and sculpture. All of the different religious traditions, both Buddhist and Bon, have their own distinct hats. There is an almost endless variety of colours, shapes and styles. The face of the statue is painted with a 24k gold mixture. The gold is crushed into a powder and then made into a paste. The gold paste is mixed with an organic paint mixture then used to paint the most important part of any Buddhist statue; the face. This beautiful sculpture is hand crafted by the very talented artists of the beautiful Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.

Paro Taktshang 💙 It was not only a sacred site visited by Guru Rinpoche but was also visited and blessed by many other spiritual master. The foremost being Langchen Pelgi Sengye, one of the 25 disciples of Guru Rinpoche who also named it as Pelphug (the cave of Pelgi). Landchen Pelgi Sengye went to Nepal after a spell of meditation in Taktshang and died there. However, Damchen Dorji Legpa (protective deiry) brought back his Kudung (bone relics), which is still preserved today. It is still believed that Langchen Pelgi Sengye on auspicious day pay visit to Taktshang and the Chorten is considered to fulfil one's wishes. #taktshang #taktshanggoemba #tigersnestmonastery #bhutan #happinessisaplace #tourismbhutan #tales_of_bhutan #beautifultaktshang #gururinpoche #temple #parotaktshang (at Bhutan) https://www.instagram.com/p/CcdHzidJGQF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

✨✨ Guru Rinpoche is a totally enlightened being, a fully awakened one, a buddha. He did not become enlightened gradually, or start practicing the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni and eventually achieve enlightenment. Guru Rinpoche incarnated as a fully enlightened being. Through his form, primordial wisdom manifests in the world to benefit all sentient beings. Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

INNER LANDSCAPE I feel a reclaiming my inner passions and the fortitude of my practices. I am the mountain. I am the wild child. I am the earth angle, that I am. I’m ready. . Shamar Rinpoche, or more formally Künzig Shamar Rinpoche, blessed me one day. It was either that, or I was given a great task. I was to master all of my weaknesses by devoting all my actions and conscious efforts to my higher Self. This got really old very quick. I kind of liked my crazy self, and had completely doubted my capacities. However, onward the path leads us, regardless of how we integrate the teachings. We get lots and lots of practice. The reminders wake you up daily. I laugh, because I was destined to be given the name ‘Tat - suk- a - Nam-dock’, from the school and lineage of the Shamarpa. It is important to uphold this name, meaning ‘Discipline, or Noble steadiness’. Of course, as much of my life has been oddly challenged with such a noble feat, I have come to respect all the ways that a human being can be disciplined in a modern world. I keep close to kindness. . Thank you kindness, you always seem to find a quiet moment in been my list of to-do’s and let me finish my fruit and tea. . . .
