THE GREAT POTENTIAL OF LIFE
Many people are by nature peaceful, joyful, and wise. Their mere presence can bring peace and happiness to those around them. There is no one among us who cannot awaken such qualities from our hearts, if only we could open up to this possibility and make an effort. Every one of us possesses an enlightened nature. Our true qualities are peaceful, joyful, and wise.
Our negative emotions and unhealthy expressions are just afflictions - a kind of pollution - not our true nature. That is why Buddhism teaches us that human life is amazingly precious, that we can use impermanence to improve our lives, that we can use the laws of karma to ensure a peccent a nightend this is just realizing our own
inherent nature.
We can earn peace, joy, and enlightenment, not only for this life but also for lives to come; and not only for ourselves but also for countless others.

So, you've formed an interest in spirituality, psychology, and philosophy, though you're unsure where to begin. I assume you underwent a significant life event that pulled down the curtain of reality, or perhaps you've always been curious, wanting a sneak peek underneath. Whatever the case, you've acknowledged the mystery that is your existence.
However, an audience of faces has now greeted you, shouting non-duality, shadow work, enlightenment, dark night of the soul, kundalini activation, third-eye, ego death, higher-self, Nietzsche, Jung, and other names, practices, books, topics, studies or experiments.
Consequently, you're overwhelmed by the unconventional information, being told by said people to read this or do that while re-evaluating what you've ingrained as truth.
Unfortunately, what I have to say on this matter is only further noise, adding to the line of people grabbing your hand and directing you elsewhere.
But what I suggest is to go a simplistic yet more direct route. Rather than immediately entertaining what everyone is saying, take moments of your day, perhaps during your work break, to sit alone outside. Slowly source your mystery at your pace through introspection, conscious attention and presence.
Reflect upon your thoughts; question why you have such an opinion or viewpoint. See if you can alter your perspective to acquire a fresh understanding for purpose of potentially unearthing beneficial information. Patiently, do this indefinitely. That is philosophy and psychology at play.
Afterwards, attempt to entertain a moment of inner silence by watching the world. Listen to the surrounding noise, the cars, people, insects and birds. Feel your environment, where you stand or sit, the breeze pressing upon your skin.
Ground your being with the collective happening. If you have a conversation with another, maybe while purchasing lunch, try to interact human to human, mystery to mystery.
See yourself within them. That's spirituality.
Ultimately, take your time. Remember, these studies and practices concern your existence, so who better to inquire and learn from than yourself?

White Tara, the female Buddha of longevity.
Tara is a completely enlightened buddha and as a young bodhisattva she promised always to appear in the form of a female bodhisattva and goddess for the benefit of all beings and especially to protect from the eight fears. In this white form she appears specifically for the purpose of bestowing longevity.

THE CREATIVE PLAY OF WISDOM :: THE SPONTANEOUS SONG OF A DAKINI INVOKING THE HEART OF NOBLE TARA by Khandro-la (Rangjung Neljorma Khadro Namsel Drönme)
• Starlike reflections arise in the clear mirror of the primordially pure expanse and are perfected in the equal taste of illusion. Thus, whatever occurs is devoid of both coming and abiding. While abiding in this evenness, whatever is wished for arises without effort.
Holder of an utpala, who grants refuge and liberates from samsara and nirvana, arisen from me-the mere notion of a true self-appearance and emptiness conjoined; unimpeded and all-pervading goddess who protects from every fear, your four activities are born of bliss and emptiness:
Tara, you are uncreated, unceasing, and liberate to the very limits of space itself.
Tara, without appearance or obstruction, your supreme form is great radiance.
Tara, your non-existent form appears clearly as the perfection of samsara and nirvana.
Tara, you are the naked great bliss of awareness and emptiness that pervades all.
Tara, having embraced your son of luminosity and are gathered into a single sphere.
Tara devoid of effort, you are the effortless clarity of the four joys
Tara, most marvellous, there is no doubt of your granting relief to the weary.
Tara, most beautiful, you are perfect in and of yourself and pervade all.
Tara, you are the dharmadhatu-mother of all sugatas.
Tara, you are a special friend to all practitioners...

Lady Tsogyal asked the master: Can original wakefulness manifest or vanish?
The master replied:
The wakeful knowing appearing in yourself
Is itself lucid since the beginning,
So its identity is natural brightness, free from outside or an inside.
This wakefulness is vast, self-present, natural knowing.
You can firmly resolve on that.

"The vajra (dorje in Tibetan) refers to the diamond, the hardest and most precious of all stones. A diamond can cut through all other substances, yet cannot itself be cut by any of them. This symbolizes the unchanging, non-dual wisdom of the buddhas, which cannot be affected or destroyed by ignorance, but cuts right through all delusions and obscurations. It indicates too that the qualities and activities of the body, speech, and mind of the buddhas can benefit all sentient beings, without hindrance from negative forces. Like a diamond, the vajra is free from all defects. Its indestructible strength comes from the realization of the dharmakaya nature, the nature of Buddha Amitabha."

When you run after your thoughts, you are like a dog chasing a stick - every time a stick is thrown, you run after it. But if instead you look at where your thoughts are coming from, you will see that each thought arises and dissolves within the space of that awareness, without giving rise to other thoughts. Be like a lion, who rather than chases after the stick, turns to face the thrower. One only throws a stick at a lion once.
