In my recent piece for Taste of Home, I share not one but four ways to roast peppers of all colors, sizes, and heat levels. Learn more about Roasting Peppers.

I mainly roast homegrown peppers, so it’s an easy seasonal choice to char them on the grill. But if you’re buying peppers out of season or keeping an eye on a simmering pot in the kitchen, indoor techniques may make more sense. So I share not one but four ways to…
I honestly can’t wait until this time of year despite my often endless complaints about the heat. I balance out my intolerance for long summer days of high temperatures with plenty of time to play in my garden and marvel at the bounty of goodness that comes with a little time and patience.
Usually by this time of year I am also getting a little bored with variations of salads so it is always a…

NOTE TO SELF: I have no idea how long I'm going to hold it against them that they began cutting their veggies thinner, but didn't up the count -- still four slices.
came here once a few years back, the outdoor seating here is really great and i remembered the food was okay as well. decided to have lunch here when arrived at cameron highlands since it was nearby.
there were quite a lot of customers when we were there, outdoor seats are more favorable, and limited as well, cos some areas will be wet when it rains. we ordered grilled salmon and grilled chicken chop for our food. wanted to try their famous bread bowls but they were sold out.
the food is simple, no frills, salmon is served with some grilled vegetables and fries, chicken chop is served with grilled vegetables and wedges. i like the texture of the salmon, a little crispy skin layer while the inside is still moist, cooked just right. chicken chop was slightly overcooked, hence a little dry overall, the sauce is good though.
while we were eating, the rain started to pour, and it feels really nice to be enjoying our meal while listening to the rain, it’s very relaxing and it also makes the weather chilly, love this relaxing ambiance very much, the surrounding plants do add a lot of points. do pay this place a visit if you want to have a laid back and chill time.
