I’ve been rewatching gravity falls and it’s really funny how Ford, Dipper and Mable just assumed that their parents were just gonna let Dipper stay in Gravity Falls with his uncle After the summer, like that wasn’t his choice to make whether Ford asked or not. Like I’d get it if Ford was his dad or Dipper was 16/17 years old instead of 13, sure maybe. their parents weren’t gonna let that slide.. I’m sure they’d want both kids back..

Gravity Falls is a slice of life story and you cannot change my mind.

Basically you see into the day-to-day of these characters lives, sometimes there is no real development of the characters and just them doing their thing, and it leaves us with a somewhat open ending.

The show about battling an evil triangle to save a town featuring two sets of twins, a lumberjack, a Soos, and a pig is a slice of life story.

Foe no reason of note I recommend you re-watch Season 1 Episode 8 of Gravity Falls.
