What broke me about episode six of good omens:

- Crowley having to look up and tilt his head so his tears didn’t roll down his cheeks

- the amount of times Crowley’s voice cracks or stutters during their conversation/confession

- the obvious affection but also annoyance in his voice when he calls Aziraphale an idiot

- The way that Crowley acknowledges the fact that if he doesn’t get everything off his chest right now he’ll probably chicken out later

- how hopeful Aziraphale seems when he gets the “good news” from the Metatron because all he’s thinking about is keeping Crowley safe

- the fact that they want to be together so badly but it’s ripping them apart

- the fact that neither of their plans is going to be very affective in the long run

- Aziraphale doesn’t fully understand the atrocities of heaven, he doesn’t know how much pain Crowley went through while falling

- when Aziraphale said, “nothing lasts forever,” what he meant was, “material objects don’t last forever, but we do, and I’ll give up as many books as I need to in order to stay by your side,” but what Crowley heard was, “We aren’t going to last forever,”

- the desperate way in which Crowley kisses Aziraphale, almost begging, asking, pleading Aziraphale to understand everything from the kiss

- Aziraphales wanting so bad to kiss Crowley back but everything is just wrong, it’s not happening the way he wanted it to, his hands struggling to decide weither or not to pull Crowley in or push him away

- the way Crowley says, “don’t bother,” when Aziraphale forgives him, he isn’t sorry for his actions, and he certainly isn’t sorry for being in love with an angel

- the soft way in which Aziraphale touches his lips with his hand, almost preserving the kiss

- and how Aziraphale hesitates after the Metatron asks if he’s ready, he really doesn’t want to go without Crowley, but he doesn’t want to stay without Crowley either, so he ends up leaving, forcing a smile on the way out

Okay so, I forced my boyfriend to watch good omens with me and he decided to write some small headcanons and he was okay with me sharing some soooo yea, I also put some of my own hcs warning season 2 spoilers

Crowley:

Genderfluid / Gay / Any pronouns

Used to smoke a lot to cope but Aziraphale helped him quit, though he started to smoke again after the kiss, he also drinks a lot more to try and cope

Normally doesn't cry but after the events with Aziraphale in season 2 he cries more often and easily

Doberman type of partner

Not a huge fan of Taylor Swift but really likes the reputation album + anti-hero

Wears cropped shirts sometimes

Has bad separation anxiety

Didn't talk about his emotions much until after he met Aziraphale + he mainly talks to Aziraphale about his emotions

Repeatedly listens to The World We Knew by Frank Sinatra and cries

Would often go to spots he and Aziraphale would hang around and just think

Had a slight punk phase in the 90s

Nail biter, especially when anxious

Rants to Nina often about what happened

Wears eyeliner ( my hc)

Hated himself for kissing Aziraphale like how he did since he always wanted their kiss to be perfect but now he ruined it ( my hc)

Loves their flies like they were their children

Still keeps in touch with Crowley who introduced them to Muriel who quickly grew on them ( Gabriel and Beelzebub become like uncle figures to Muriel since they Crowley is like a parent to them )

Hates hugs except from Gabriel and Muriel ( sometimes )

Eventually tried food and grew a liking towards it, very frequently watched cooking shows ( my hc )

Loves nicknames and comes up with new ones for Gabriel constantly; my sweet, dear, angel, etc (my hc)

Them and Gabriel have a garden together filled with plants that attract flies and just flowers Gabriel finds pretty ( my hc )

Gabriel:

Trans (FTM) / Gay / He/Him

Loves plushies and owns tons

Also has anger issues but Beelzebub helps him with it

Certain things on earth interest them that most people don't care for

Loves sweet things such as chocolate chip cookies, hot coca, and tea with absurd amounts of honey and sugar

Was glad to befriend Beelzebub and sees them and like an cool uncle type figure

Becomes close with Nina and Maggie over time and often visits the coffee shop to help out ( my hc )

Somehow meets Eric the disposable demon and forms a quick friendship over how they both feel out of place ( my hc )

Stargazes with Crowley who tells them about the different constellations (my hc)

Loves ducks like Crowley and goes with him to the park to feed ducks (my hc)

Likes painting Crowley's nails, they painted them yellow one time and it made Crowley cry bc it reminded him of when Aziraphale turned the Bentley yellow (my hc )

Loves learning about different emotions and especially loves the concept of love (my hc)

Eric The Disposable Demon (mainly my headcanons):

Loves avocado toast

Loves smokey eye makeup looks

Is terrified of Crowley but also looks up to him (my hc)

Finds Muriel very pretty but doesn't feel worthy of being near them sometimes since they're so angelic and hes a demon (my hc)

They like to buy Muriel sweets anytime he visits them (my hc)

Very traumatised and is used to throwing himself towards danger (my hc)

Bonds with Muriel at the same park that Crowley and Aziraphale goes to (my hc)

Asks Crowley for advice sometimes on how to get closer to Muriel (my hc)

Makes tiktoks sometimes of herself making drinks or doing latte art, mostly to promote the cafe but also for her own enjoyment

I saw someone (I think on TikTok but I can’t remember who) talk about how it’s strange that Aziraphale made the Bentley yellow when he’s never associated with the color, he’s normally seen with blue or beige. And then they went on about how he made it yellow because it was the color of Crowley’s eyes and even said “it’s pretty”.

THIS ISNT THE ONLY YELLOW AZIRAPHALE HAS. IN HIS BOOKSHOP THE SIDE ROOM HAS YELLOW PAINTED WALLS THE EXACT COLOR OF CROWLEYS EYES.

HE KEEPS A ROOM THATS THE COLOR OF HIS FRIENDS EYES. (A friend who’s glasses are conveniently off in the scene which makes his eye color easy to compare to the wall color AND ITS THE SAME!!?$:$,!:&/)

GO S2 spoilery //

i have slowly been coming to terms with the ending of good omens season 2 and i was thinking about how i haven’t felt such strong emotions like that since the finale of doctor who series 2. it’s a feeling that feels a lot like loss, the death of something important to me (not to be dramatic but this is the best way i can put it). i’ve been jumping around the five stages of grief since, and finally today i’ve felt a little something that might be acceptance. it really is just a testament to how incredible this season was, the acting, the writing, the directing, the music, everything. i cried within the first five minutes and several other times throughout, and laughed so hard at parts it hurt. i wanted a happy ending, but it’s not the ending i needed (and in the end, we all do know how aziraphale and crowley’s story unfolds). it’s painful, but i’m emotionally buttoned up and in some way this has forced me to feel like a person again. it’s making me think and process things i’ve needed to unpack myself. i get it, i get why aziraphale did what he did. but wowee, that was rough!
