heyy can I know your thoughts on in stars and time? I like your thoughts on things
ahh, yes, of course!!! spoilers ahead for anyone else that might be reading :3
genuinely saying this - i think it's one of the best games i've had the pleasure of playing recently! it really does the idea of "character stuck in a time loop" justice. one of the things i'm particularly glad about is the pacing especially considering this all technically takes place in like, two locations for (technically) two days for the entire 20-30h of playtime. the dev did phenomenal writing it! the characters are all solid, the worldbuilding is good, the red herrings it pulls also, with the wish/time craft thing. i'm also really, REALLY glad it left some things unanswered at the end.
to elaborate on the pacing, it DOES feel like siffrin is slowly, surely losing their mind throughout all this. i don't think it happens neither too quick nor too slowly and i was immersed throughout! i like how different items have different dialogue and usage depending on when you interact with them at certain points throughout the story, and i thought all of the horror segments were truly unsettling!!
siffrin was a really compelling character and both them and odile really spoke to me because of the way the dev handled their relationships with their respective heritage. i burst into tears when i was playing odile's friendship quest; i hadn't really seen all of those particular thoughts and fears expressed for a while before playing ISAT, and so seeing them written out like this just felt like.. reopening a wound you thought had healed but was actually still pretty raw? and siffrin's desperation to connect, to learn more about where they came from, the hurt that is left unaddressed for so long that it blooms into resentment was just so poignant. odile and siffrin are really, really important to me because of this.
i really love the different small things that get recontextualized when you learn more. like the king asking if siffrin remembers, which i had assumed was about the loops in the beginning! and loop's "you may refer to us with the royal We" and such!! and the missing island too! reached the part where it had been mentioned for the first time in the library and then the game went on for a while to the point i was starting to think "isn't anyone gonna bring up the island that got erased from everyone's memories" and then THEY BROUGHT IT UP. AND IT WAS SO PAINFUL!!! the segment where siffrin tries to say the name got to me so bad!!!
also the little details i'll always die for the little details. the changes in flavor text, menu portraits, inner monologue. it's tiny thing after tiny thing until you pause, look back and realize that you don't even recognize siffrin anymore! like god!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm genuinely really curious how the dev managed to keep track of everything! how many switches and variables they must've used, how many event pages there are, etc.
ANOTHER THING. i think it's so fun how it does a subversion on RPGs as a whole. it's still that at it's core, of course! i'll always enjoy turn-based combat and it freshens it up with the rock/paper/scissors crafts system, and it's incredibly story rich and character driven but it's like.. i guess the RPG conventions that it plays with that i really, really enjoyed. like the whole "mysterious protagonist gathers a party and then goes on a journey to fight the big bad boss" (the big bad is even called The King!!!) except the majority of the journey leading up to that boss already IS over when we start, characters are leveled up and have gathered plenty of usable skills, and they've already have formed dynamics between each other! but we get to learn more about them through the loops! and at some point the king isn't even a threat anymore!!! i REALLY loved that when i realized how unimportant he'd become in the grand scheme of things!!! it was so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but yeah in conclusion i feel only moderately strongly about this game. LOL

Idk it warmed my heart. It wasn't like the usual stuff I come across in writing.
After the last chapter I was afraid that all the progress made with Cassandra was ruined and that it'd take some time to regain her trust and get on her good side again :/ but what a nice surprise it was that she and Reader talked and Reader even told her about the stuff with the other reality and Lunatic (even if she may think of them as crazy but they already seem like insane so ssdggh). It's good they opened up about it.
If it comes to it, perhaps Cass will be able to at least save her mama and sisters :(
What an even nicer surprise it was when Cass kissed them like oh my god ~200k words, ~30h of waiting for that very moment and it happened in quite unexpected circumstances considering Reader just fucked up badly a while ago.
And Cassandra was so cute with her kisses. Slightly confused about what she's supposed to do, unlike her sisters pls I love her.
It's so nice to see a different interpretation of her character😭
Anyway that was so mean of you to throw that argument with Alcina right after the moment with Dani 😐

Wings huh, a symbol of everything Reader hates. Funny how everyone else loves them. Maybe they'll help Reader accept who they are. Because it doesn't define them as a person but can work as an advantage.

*i really feel like, with the excitement of having another sister/daughter, no one warned her that she was a hell of a lot stronger than she used to be, and that caused... issues, obviously. the main reason she wanted Reader to "take control" (she's a power bottom, cmon now) was so that she would have a much less chance of hurting them. poor baby can't stand the thought of hurting anyone she actually likes :(
*hehe, i tried my best to make them a little more realistic <3 with how much she copies her sisters, i wouldn't be surprised to find she also compares herself to them, and considering they actually have different body types in TPtM... unsurprising she would be insecure and wouldn't have given anyone else the chance to reassure her
*we love communication here! Dani strikes me as the one to communicate literally everything to her partner (where to touch, what feels good, etc.), regardless of what it is or how significant it actually is; the trouble is getting her to not ramble about flowers or rocks or whatever else is on her mind during spicy time
*it was definitely supposed to be a much softer moment as compared to anything else they've done with each other up until then :D
*listen, i could literally never do that (i'm on pc so imagine i put a crying face). i feel Cassandra is too mature for that, and with her already knowing what was going on but wanting Reader to admit to it, i don't think she'd completely give up everything over an accident/misunderstanding
*i think lots of people were surprised to read that Cass was the first to know about everything going on. she probably wouldn't have poked it out of them had it not been for the fact she saw them talking to someone that wasn't there, but it is good to finally have at least one person they can rely on through it all :o
*ahaha... aha.... haha.... about that-
*she has had a week basically to herself to figure out what she's feeling, why she was so upset to find them outside with Daria, why her heart flutters in her chest when they smile at her... all the fun, totally straight stuff you experience, yknow
*listen. listen. i genuinely don't like horndog Cass and feel it can be very bland to write her that way, even as much as she teases others about it (or how she sits on Reader's lap, pins them to the bed, etc. without actually meaning to go further), so i thought... what if... Reader was basically her "first"... her first kiss, her first "human" she's actually cared about... pls she's so awkward i love her
*i have said it before and i'll say it again: Alcina can be a toxic lover. when she wants information, she will get it one way or another, but i think i did write that she apologized for pushing them that far? she's pushed their buttons again and again before, just never to that extent. i can understand her frustrations, but Alcina, pls
*mm, it was nice to write that Reader hates that part of themself and what it means, what it represents, while everyone else thought the wings were cool as fuck. i don't think anyone even mentioned how similar they were to Miranda's (yet? it's been a minute since i've even worked on TPtM), and i feel that's a step in the right direction, distancing themself from her/her influence
definitely looking forward to how you'll react in chapter thirteen, and i will warn you that it's a doozy. be prepared. you may hate me after LMAOO <333

F. What stories are you planning for the future?
Can I just put in a list of winky faces? No? Well, several more installments of I Think of You, including returning to canon with Episode 3! Then a few more SW!Frankie asks, including much more spicy fun and feels. Then I've had ideas brewing for several oneshot/short series I want to return to - The Plan has a few follow-up stories, and...because I know how much you love Jack...Cognitive Dissonance has a follow-up planned. Sooooooon.
R. If you had to rewrite one of your stories from scratch, which one would it be? What would you do to it?
Oh man, you've got me here because I've forced the mentality of "it's finished, stop fucking with it" on myself after years of writing so I try not to dwell on what I would change in past stories. I might tweak parts of Pero and his Guerrera's story to stretch out a little longer, if I was going to pick anything. Though knowing them, even after getting frisky they're still going to be at each other's throats so there's plenty of material still there!
A. If you could rec a piece of music to accompany one of your fics, what would you pick? Why?

Honestly I love all of 30H!3's discography for Dieter because it's so "sad party boy wants to be loved" but this one in particular is so fun and filthy. I don't think Dieter would listen to any of it, but it gives me the right vibes.

There are several stories I'm excited to write but haven't gotten there yet. A couple Ezra stories that have interesting premises (Bodyguard and Carnie Ezra haunt me on the daily), a post-apocalyptic Frankie story that might find its way over to Joel if it works better, a fun Max Lord one that was basically You've Got Mail that I fixated on for a week. They might still come but other things have taken all the brain space for now.
K. Who have you killed this year? Why did they have to die?
Have...have I killed anyone? I killed a couple troopers in Good Company. Some collateral damage in Whiskey, Dark and Deep. I had a lot of hosts get shot up in Cognitive Dissonance...
I think the implied deaths might be the most interesting. I've mentioned both the mother and father of our girl in I Think of You, but they've both been dead for a while before Din shows up. But they still have their influences, which we all appreciate. They didn't HAVE to die, but...it's Tatooine. Life isn't easy there unfortunately. But our girl holds them in her heart always.

Document a Space in 5 Images
Time flies even faster while making projects. Here comes the second one, which took me a few days to create and sort out, and at the same time it has been already three weeks since the first assignment post. Anyways, it was a curious, in parts new, enlighting:)(what a pun) experience of observation and thinking about angles, reflections, shadows, movement...
To get all of my shots at the place I documented, I visited it day and night, 4 or 5 times. I do not really remember how many they were, because the space I decided to capture was the, as I call it, ‘rabbit alley’, which is near my home here and on the way to the shop, so I often pass through there. In other words, it is a small park-like alley, that reminds me of a cut out piece of nature, pasted in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the urban. It is located just between a street, a school and some home and office buildings, so this is why it seems like a piece put there to beautify. And... there are rabbits jumping out of the bushes on the sides! It feels like a fairytale to me, especially when I think back of Bulgaria, where I have never seen a rabbit on the street. At home the most common street animals are cats and dogs. Now I love going shopping here just because I cross this charming alley. 👼🏽 🐰
What is more about this place, there are many trees along the way, which form a natural tunnel that casts shadows over the path. In the middle of the park, you can see a bowls playfield, as long as I know it is. The path ends with a mini garden with colourful flowers, more trees, and... a river with a bridge above! On the upper left side there are the tram and train rails, which at night make the atmosphere so calming, when a train/tram passes.
I feel like I could write forever on this project! 😄 It is just connected with quite a lot of unexpected stories, but maybe I should get them into a new post!

1.Okay. Initially I got the idea of making this project in black&white. Then I chose this destination and changed my mind, wanting to leave my pictures... bloom in their original colourfulness. I thought the magic of this place wouldn’t be felt the same way without colours. But then I tried this photo in B&W. Boom - my mind changed again:) I loved how sunlight and nature’s vitality are clearly visible even without the help of colours, through flowers’ silhouettes. So I turned out wrong about the destruction of the magic with the lack of colour. Left it like this. ⬇
The reason I took this shot from behind this garden of flowers is that I wanted to get more contrast in the picture, which they brought; thus the light became visible in their contours and the source of light - the sun, is directly visible in front of the camera, but is not dazzling or blinding. ⬇
In fact, I did a similar-idea-photo of a leaf: shot it from beneath, thus making it seem almost transparent due to the direct light above. However in that photograph I did not even include the sun. And all the veins of the leaf were visible, so the source of light was... pressumable and obvious. (I may upload this photo together with some others from this shoot in another post. 📲 ) ⬇

2. About 17:20h. It was another lucky sunny day. Clear sky. Here the sun is already low, so the trees do not stop the light from penetrating with their crowns. Thas is why the paths i clearly lit. And I like how it looks like a patch - if I erased the source light on the right and made this picture a night shot, it would look like there somebody is lighting up the way with a torch or something. To me, from this very angle this place looks like Heaven on Earth. You can even see the dust in the air when you look at the light. And if you do not look around, you might think you are out of town for a moment. The perfect place to clear your mind for a minute, I believe. ⬇
I have captured this very scenery at different times of the day to compare the light. I was really torn apart whether I should choose the ‘comparison’ pictures to include in this project, or show different ones, because this place has so many beautiful aspects to be seen. Anyways, I can upload the rest of the variants in another post, again. ⬇
This image is taken in the afternoon. What I noticed in the other times of the day - earlier afternoon and night, is that, as I already mentioned, when sun is higher, trees cast shadows and prevent part of the sunlight from penetrating. So the result is dappled shades, mixed shadows and lit zones. At night the source light are the street lamps, if the sky is clear - the moon as well. And in more mundane days, where the sunlight is weak, the shadows are blurry. ⬇

3. Favourite 👼 ⬇
As the caption of this photo hints, there is a story behind the scene. I suppose it seems staged, but actually it was totally spontaneous, I still cannot believe it. I was taking photos of the sky - two planes had crossed it and the traces caught my eye. So I had my settings with low ISO, high shutter speed on, big depth of field... and all of a sudden I notice at the bottom of my viewfinder a blonde head drawing my attention to itself. It just bent down, pulled a few dandelions and blew them in front of the camera. Without thinking I caught every movement and watched him carelessly, charmingly, unpretenciously walk away with his parents without saying a word. I heard them talking in a slavic language, I guessed they were Russian or Polish. I stared staggered, speechless for a few minutes... what a serendipity! This kid looked like a trained model! I adore spontaneous moments. ⬇
Unfortunately, here comes the other side. Since I was taking photos of the sky just before the boy came, my settings made the pictures too dark. My heart was almost broken 💔. I rushed back home to edit them and they came out looking like old vintage photographs, because of the noise. Still love them no matter what the results are. ⬇

4. 21:45h. I chose this image to represent this place, because it depicts the natural tunnel I wrote about, and at the end of the path there is the street with the car lights which bring more colour to the picture. To take this shot I waited for a car to pass, so that its light could be seen in the photo. Since the space where it could be visible is quite narrow, the shutter had to be balanced between not too slow (so that the lights would not disappear) and not too fast (so that instead of a blurred car, I only get its lights). What this picture drawns me into are the perfectly parallel lines of the car at first. Then I like how street lamps enlighten only the zones underneath them, and the lamps themselves appear like stars. ⬇
A question that bothered me while reviewing this image was whether to cut part of the left side so that the path forms a better perspective and the frame would be more even at the bottom. What stopped me from doing this was the red lines I wanted to keep in the centre. ⬇

5. Yet, what makes this alley so special to me are the rabbits. At day time this place is so friendly, bright and magical. At night, however, it is even more, especially when I see one of those fellas - it fills my heart. The atmosphere is so welcoming. ⬇
Since I am in Edinburgh, almost every time I get through this alley, wild bunnies show up from the bushes on the sides. And I adore bunnies, even had one lovely cuddly cloud-like for more than six years until this year, which makes this space special to me. My bunny was my most favorite pet and a very precious gift to my heart, so going to my rabbit alley, seing those creatures kind of touches my soul in a very specific way. ⬇
However, here is an interesting fact: :) although usually I see bunnies there everytime I go, none of them showed up when I went with my camera to capture them, except once - at night, of course, when I could hardly get a decent shot. :) The need of slow shutter to let more light get into the lens made it even harder, cause they ruuunnnn, humannn, and they fasttt!!!!! 😰🐰 ⬇
Anyways, I could not help but include this photo in my project, when after all those rascals were the reason I chose to document this destination. I will not give up on trying to get a better (please, God, DAY) shot of a bunny to use. ⬇

In a nutshell, this alley here, which I feel so lucky and grateful to have near home, is a personally special and meaningful place on Earth to me now. I am glad I got to include it in my work and share it with other people, because it also had the qualities of a space with interestingly cast shadows and play with light.

Green Light do São João! - O dia 1 do NOS Primavera Sound 2018 | Reportagem

Com ambição remodelada e com o cartaz mais ecléctico de todas as edições desde que chegou ao Porto, cumpriu com todas as promessas da organização: melhorar as condições do recinto e proporcionar concertos de excelência. A nossa vivência do festival permitiu-nos vivenciar isso mesmo, algo que vem de outras experiências neste mesmo NOS Primavera Sound.
Nos dias anteriores ao festival as previsões climatéricas mostravam previsões de chuva para os 3 dias do evento. Algo que obviamente alarmou em algum grau alguns dos assistentes já com bilhetes comprados, no entanto, cremos que terão sido poucos aqueles que deixaram de escapar a oportunidade de presenciarem a edição de 2018.
Reportando-nos ao tema desta primeira de três reportagens que estamos a lançar sobre o NOS Primavera Sound, vamos agora tecer algumas considerações…
Fizemos a nossa curta viagem de Guimarães até ao Porto logo ao início da tarde do dia 7 de junho. Tivemos logo um impacto de algum susto pela chuva que fomos apanhando pelo caminho e que em alguns períodos foi até forte. Chegados ao Parque da Cidade o tempo amainou e ficamos desde logo mais descansados. A chuvinha miudinha que ia caindo era incomodativa porém não nos desanimava… Apesar de toda esta nebulosidade a pairar sobre a nossa animação notamos em festivaleiros devidamente equipados e com vontade em curtir o festival como em outras ocasiões. Óbvio que o mais bravo dos festivaleiros adapta-se de modo quase automático. Não fomos excepção!

Tivemos oportunidade de dar uma volta pelo recinto após as 16:30h munidos de impermeável e não foi a situação mais confortável andar por caminhos enlameados e por aquela relva abundante do Parque da Cidade bem molhada… Felizmente santos da casa fazem milagres e São João fez uma gracinha antecipada!
Nota essencial: fizemos um roteiro bem específico para cada dia, escolhendo as bandas a ver baseando-nos nos gostos da equipa e naquilo que são as linhas mestras do HeadLiner: Indie, Rock e Alternativo.
Foreing Poetry
A nossa primeira escolha do dia recaiu no recente projecto Foreign Poetry. Foi já na nossa espera em frente ao Palco Super Bock que a chuva parou.
Esta formação é um duo formado pelo multi-instrumentista austríaco Moritz Kerschbaumer (já com longos anos a viver em Londres) e pelo multi-instrumentista e cantor inglês Danny Geffin. Os caminhos de Moritz e Danny cruzaram-se com os de Luís Nunes (músico português conhecido pelo seu projecto Benjamim) e daí que o álbum de estreia tenha sido gravado em Lisboa nos estúdios da Pataca Discos.
Foi esse trabalho que vieram mostrar ao Porto com uma banda, tiveram o auxílio de mais 3 músicos. O austríaco ocupou-se nas teclas, na voz e guitarra clássica esteve Danny. Confirmou-se a nossa expectativa, que seria uma estreia a não perder.

Na introdução à canção “MHL”, o single que tem sido apresentado nos últimos, dias Danny afirmou que é “incrível tocar aqui no Primavera”. Trata-se de um tema bonito e apresentado de forma irrepreensível em palco.
Os teclados importam um toque minimalista ao som da banda, no entanto, faz um contraponto vital para a energia das canções. Ficamos também impressionados com a voz grave e possante do vocalista a pisar cada palavra cantada de forma precisa e escorreita sem se lhe notar muito sotaque inglês.
Apreciamos o concerto o qual foi encerrado com uma canção incrível. Um fecho precioso para um início de festival perfeitamente promissor.

Waxahatchee
A banda de Katie Crutchfield, da qual somos fãs, era um dos nossos focos de maior interesse neste primeiro dia de NOS Primavera Sound. Em palco apresentou-se com mais 4 mulheres, uma das quais a sua irmã gémea Allison Crutchfield.
O concerto começou com “Recite Remorse”, uma das canções de destaque do álbum do ano passado ‘Out Of The Storm’. Uma bela maneira de começar esta apresentação ao vivo no Palco NOS. A setlist deste concerto foi muito semelhante à apresentada no Primavera de Barcelona dias antes.
Antes do tema “8 Ball” mostrou o seu contentamento “é tão bom estar de volta ao Porto”. Algo que é recorrente nos artistas que atuam em Portugal. Algo que também não nos espanta, Portugal tem gente extraordinariamente amigável e que sabe receber calorosamente.

Por entre a audiência e não muito distante de nós descortinamos Adolfo Luxúria Canibal membro dos Mão Morta. Aliás avistamos a presença de vários músicos lusitanos neste primeiro dia, como por exemplo, membros dos GNR e dos First Breath After Coma.
“Never Been Wrong” e “Under A Rock” foram canções que não falharam no alinhamento, esta segunda foi mesmo a última a ser tocada.
Tratou-se de um concerto que foi de encontro ao que esperávamos. Tivemos em palco uma dose de rock perfeitamente recomendável para todas as ideias e trazido de forma profissional por 5 mulheres bonitas!

A maior surpresa: Starcrawler
São de Los Angeles e são uma nova banda de rock com apenas 2 anos de existência. Arrow de Wilde, a vocalista, ainda nem tem 20 anos e já tem uma considerável presença em palco.

O som deste quarteto é uma mixórdia bem cozinhada de grunge, de garage, de rock e que proporcionou aos presentes uma bela descoberta. Conseguiram fazer elevar os ânimos naquele final de tarde por entre uns tímidos raios de sol…
“I Love LA” é o cativante single dos Starcrawler e que nos fica na cabeça durante alguns longos minutos e tocado logo ao terceiro tema. Reconhecido pelo público foi naturalmente bem recebido.
A performance da banda revelou-se ser alucinante mesmo quando Arrow de Wilde decide cantar totalmente prostrada no chão… Nada que seja um problema mesmo sendo a sua indumentária minimalista e de cor branca…
Ficamos bem impressionados com a apresentação destes californianos, sendo agora, mais um “cromo musical” na nossa caderneta. Já está bem recheada porém aceitamos sempre mais alguns desde que tenham a devida qualidade.

A estrela do dia: Father John Misty
Misty: enevoado, sombrio, obscuro, triste… São traduções possíveis para aquela palavra anglófona. Nenhuma das quais é minimamente aplicável ao concerto do ex-baterista dos Fleet Foxes.
Mesmo já antes do festival tínhamos uma certeza inabalável de que seria um dos grandes momentos deste NOS Primavera Sound 2018. O nosso imenso desejo e vontade eram esse mesmo. Felizmente Joshua Michael Tillman não nos deixou ficar mal e proporcionou-nos um belíssimo concerto.

O artista de barba farta e com óculos de sol conforme é a sua imagem de marca, entrou no Palco Seat com alguns (longos) minutos de atraso. Algo que não foi norma durante o festival. As pessoas cedo chegaram e encheram rapidamente os “seat” nas bancadas e até não se ver um mínimo de esfalto… Toda a gente ficou em modo de espera ordeiro e tranquilo.

“Chateau Lobby #4” aqueceu logo os ânimos ao segundo tema tocado e logo aí o público estava praticamente conquistado. Na bancada, onde estávamos instalados, notamos na presença de pessoas curiosas e ainda pouco conhecedoras da música de Father John Misty. ”Grande malha” diz alguém atrás no nosso lugar comentando a canção “Total Entertainment Forever”, a tal que cita Taylor Swift e como canta a cantora norte-americana numa das suas canções “I got this music in my mind”. Bem… Na verdade não é só esta que temos em modo permanente na nossa cabeça…
“Mr. Tillman” é tocada com a sua mini orquestra de forma magistral para contentamento geral. Do último álbum ‘God’s Favourite Customer’ toca também “Disappointing Diamonds Are The Rarest of Them All”, “Please Don’t Die” e “Hangout at the Gallows”
“Pure Comedy” não faltou e achamos que era mesmo essencial ao alinhamento assim como “I Love You, Honeybear”. Pura poesia musical contemporânea ao vivo e à qual tivemos o privilégio de presenciar.

Joshua Tillman não foi de muitas falas, preferiu ser fabuloso e místico. Nós ficamos extremamente agradecidos por ter partilhado connosco esta edição de 2018 do NOS Primavera Sound. Com muitas boas sensações seguimos para Lorde com o desejo de vermos novamente Father John Misty numa futura oportunidade.
Lorde
Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor nome invulgar, parece retirado de um qualquer romance ficcional. Apenas trata-se do nome verdadeiro da neozelandesa que em palco é conhecida por Lorde. Aquele massivo sucesso pop que nos atingiu entre 2013 e 2014 com o fantástico tema “Royals”.
Tínhamos uma expectativa moderada para Lorde. Gostamos de algumas das suas canções mas não nos encaixamos propriamente no padrão de fãs da artista. Ainda assim, como não poderia deixar de ser, não faltaríamos aquele que seria (para muita gente) o seu grande momento. Especialmente para a camada de jovens femininas que ajudaram a preencher a encosta até ao Palco NOS.
A jovem artista de 21 anos tem provado nos últimos anos ser muito mais que “one hit wonder” e surpreendeu-nos com o seu show.

Tratou-se de um concerto muito bem montado, um espectáculo com dançarinos e visualmente apelativo no qual fizeram parte vídeos que foram sendo mostrados amiúde na tela gigante em palco.
Lorde demonstrou muito amor pelo Porto, confessou-se feliz por voltar ao nosso Portugal, país que já tinha visitado em 2014 quando esteve presente no Rock in Rio.
A setlist não apresentou surpresas, na qual, “Tennis Court”, “Team”, Royals” e “Green Light” foram peças predominantes.
A apoteose deste concerto aconteceu com o incrível final e com as emoções em franja quando Lorde tocou “Green Light”.
Com o seu pop rock extraordinariamente bem definido e alegremente dançável cumpriu com o que lhe era esperado.

Moullinex
Repetimos a experiência Moullinex, o projecto do produtor, dj e multi-instrumentista português Luís Clara, ainda que somente por alguns minutos na parte inicial do concerto. Fizemos a nossa estreia com Moullinex em versão banda no festival Walk & Dance realizado em Freamunde no passado mês de março. Na altura ficamos impressionados com a performance já que não conhecíamos bem a valia do projecto.
Enquanto estivemos a assistir deparamo-nos numa apresentação bem mais trabalhada, sobretudo em termos multimédia, com Ghetthoven a atrair para si as atenções, como habitualmente. Apresentou-se logo de entrada com uma indumentária cor-de-rosa quase choque e ficou em frente de uma tela verde. Estava a ser filmado e as imagens captadas em directo eram apresentadas nos ecrãs laterais ao palco de modo trabalhadas com fundos próprios. À sua volta a banda tocava aprimorada com o seu distinto groove. Estas foram as imagens que captamos nos momentos que visualizamos…
Após dois concertos completos as energias nem a disposição certa estavam sintonizadas para conseguirmos visualizar a actuação completa deste acto lusitano. Ainda assim, pelas impressões captadas em frente ao Palco Super Bock e à reacção do muito público que presenciou ao concerto e que ouvíamos ao longe fica-nos a sensação que Luís Clara e os seus parceiros de palco fizeram jus à qualidade que lhe reconhecem.
O que menos gostamos: Jamie XX
A nossa jornada deste primeiro dia encerrou-se com James Thomas Smith, conhecido produtor e músico britânico e que além de pertencer à banda The XX tem igualmente o seu projecto electrónico a solo apelidado de Jamie XX.
Gostamos de algumas “malhas” do produtor e por isso ficamos pela encosta em frente ao Palco NOS de modo a ver e ouvirmos a sua performance. Ainda curtimos algumas canções porém não estávamos com o espírito certo para assimilarmos a sua música naquele momento. Daí que não tenhamos ficado para o final… Acreditamos que tenha sido uma boa performance, no entanto, não somos os melhores ajuizadores. Apenas optamos por guiar-nos pelo nosso feeling e espirito.
