I feel bad being like glitterspit by sloppy jane! mostly bc for neda week this year haley dahl posted online about how glitterspit has reached a very disordered audience especially recently and how she's glad it brings people solace but more than anything else she doesn't want anyone else to suffer from these dirsorders and doesn't want that song to be used to glorify or encourage eds in any way.I feel like musical media about eds a lot of the time tend to be from an outsider's perspective being like oh you're so beautiful you don't need to do this and there's not as much in genres I listen to surprisingly and glitterspit really encapsulates this frustration and anger at both having an ed from a personal perspective and public perceptions of eds that really speaks to me. same with youth decay by sleater kinney and plump by hole to a lesser extent

#however glitterspit by sloppy jane I love you and you fucking get it.#one day I will try recovery for real. I'm essentially doing baby's first half hearted recovery attempt rn
