noi glanced over to the man he was forced to marry, the man he once loved, eryn marshall, in a drunken state.
this was nothing new- they hated eachother and were okay with that.
but noi truly could never be okay with any of it, he could never be okay with the boy he was so fascinated by, despising every last aspect of his own person.
god noi couldn’t bear to see his husband tear himself apart each night, eryn drowning himself in fancy wines while sitting in his empty bathroom. alone.
as much as noi couldn’t stand caring about eryn, he couldn’t help but feel his presence was needed tonight.
as thoughts raced through noi’s head, his feelings of emptiness and guilt screaming at him- eryn scooted a bit closer to him in that moment.
those moments are what sparks a small flame of hope in noi that there’s still a chance for them in some capacity.
“..do you believe i deserve anything? do..do you even like me-?”, eryn muttered, resting his head on noi’s shoulder.
all noi did was gently sigh and kiss eryn’s forehead, while proceeding to fix his shirt collar.
“don’t be ridiculous, marshall. you deserve the world, in full honesty.” as noi rambled on about eryn’s worth and the positive impact he’s had on others, all eryn could bring himself to do was cry.
therefore noi adapted to this newfound circumstance.
“..i enjoy your company, my darling ghost.” is what noi muttered to the teary eyed boy in his arms.
and that’s the last time either of these men shared a moment that didn’t have rising tensions slipped into it.
that’s the last time eryn remembers being anything more than the shells of a ruined man.
It’s like “I think trans people deserve rights, you are what you are!!! Trans men are men and trans women are women, we should kill all bisexuals, and just be yourself guys!!
i hate when theres a post where i agree w almost everything then theres a sentence i absolutely despise sneaked in the middle of it like. fuck you now i cant reblog any of that 😑
people celebrating the florida law allowing the death penalty for sexual assault have me so sick rn. like you guys really do not think deeper into an issue at all. not only is the law specifically designed to target trans communities, but it does literally nothing but increase the risk for victims of sexual assault. soooo many children already do not come forward about abuse because they feel guilty about getting their abuser in trouble (and the abuser will specifically guilt them into silence by discussing the potential punishments they may face), which will only get significantly worse if death is on the table. it also means families will be more inclined to handle incidences of abuse “in house,” because they also do not want to have the perpetrator, who is also likely a family member or close friend, killed based on an accusation. plus it just provides greater incentive for the perpetrator to kill their victim in order to prevent anyone from testifying against them. giving the government increased power to kill its citizens without consequence is not and has never been the solution. please utilize your critical thinking skills
