Happy Midsummer! 🌼 We spent our midsummer at my parents' house, we ate herring, potatoes, sallad and for dessert a strawberry cake.🍓 We would actually stay longer to grill but my mother had a fever last night, and then the fever went away and came back when we was there so we decided to go home and let her rest. But it was a pretty good day anyway not great but good. 🙂

A small update about my cat Mysan. She is fine. She is eating and drinking and is almost like herself again. I think she hates me though as I have to give her medicine twice a day for 10 days (now 7 days left.) So I hope she doesn't hate me too much. 😔

im genuinely baffled by what happened yesterday.

i got a client who needed me to help her find specific parts for her bike, so i could do a repair for her. she asked to meet up with me because she said she wanted to show me something. she said she was an entrepreneur and business woman and that she admired my tenacity and spirit, and she wanted to help me start my repair business.

it ended up that she was trying to get me to join what is essentially an Israeli owned skincare brand pyramid scheme that gets its products exclusively from the dead sea.

making easy money off of stolen land.

i told her that i could not in good faith ever become part of something like that. as a black indigenous person

she had only been invited in about a year ago, she didnt even know what zionism was, their Israeli CEO sat them all down and cried about what was happening in 'Israel'

i googled later after she left and saw they they have been getting hit by the boycotts. rightfully so

a point she, and another woman, whom she called, to have me speak with, kept saying i wouldnt want to miss out on investing in the Next Big Thing. stating that this business was about to boom. as if blood money could move me enough to join this cult.

these were older black, queer women i was talking to. i pray my response to her message moves her to research just what she is getting pulled into.

#it was crazy cause i could easily see all of the tactics that were being used #to try and get someone who is poor #non white #how this could help be passive income that helps save you and your family from struggling anymore im like #im glad i watched the movie midsommar about 50 times atp and know a lot about cult indoctrination #because uhhhh lol thats what Israel is #a cult #zionism is a cult
