The writers and actors did so good with Ginny & Georgia with Georgia’s love interests. You root for all of them. Zion is perfect for her. Joe is perfect for her. Paul is perfect for her. They’re all perfect and I can’t just root for one guy.

Ginny's sh storyline really got to me. The urge to get better, that desperate feeling you get when no one seems to notice. it's all so real. I cried the entire scene with her dad and I sobbed the one with georgia.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but ginny's actions and feelings are so valid. Imagine living that, yes her mom went through serious shit, and yes ginny acted like an asshole with her, but really no one understands her behaviour? Georgia keeps reminding her of everything she did for her, everytime she wanted to talk about boundaries she brought that up. They were both wrong and BOTH their feelings were valid. People act like ginny's this monster that should grow the hell up, hello????? she's a teenager. She's trying to tell her mom how she feels and what she actually wants when her mom says that vulnerability is weakness. Comparing trauma and deciding which one is more horrible is so invalidating and insensitive. Yes she might have not gone through all that georgia went through, but she has a right to feel how she feels, while simultaneously making the wrong impulsive and angry-blinded decisions.

I really like the family dynamics going on in Ginny and Georgia. I appreciate that Zion and his parents treat Austin like he's their family as well and not just Ginny's.
I like that Paul's parents said Ginny would be a legacy if she went to Brown [? I can't remember if that was the school they mentioned]
I like them already treating her like family. In different shows they'd already being talking about how Paul needs a blood child and if or when Georgia is gonna have another.
It's just so freaking positive and refreshing to see.

I feel like we need to talk about Georgia Miller more. Yes killing is a morally wrong and awful thing so let’s put that aside for a moment (even though it’s ethically complicated in her situations). But the scene at the thanksgiving table where all of her in-laws are judging her life choices PISSEDDDD me off!!! She’s a messy person who acts manipulative at times, but she’s also a fucking badass who worked her entire life to rise out of poverty for herself and her children. I’m sick of all the rich Wellesbury people acting like she’s the bad guy when she was just forced to play the capitalism game starting at the lowest point. Anyways,,, more respect for Miss Georgia, please.

okay I tried to wait I'm half way through episode 7 of season 2 but I can't not talk about this anymore. I literally don't even know where to start, the fact that Marcus Baker is canonically obsessed with naruto or the fact that he's the type of boyfriend to not be scared of things like morning breath. he thinks it's cute. it's so eddie munson core of him. OR are we going to talk about the fact that he got Ginny off with his hands for fun expecting nothing in return??? are we going to talk about the way he was bouncing his legs in the hallway in that one scene??? (he and max both have adhd btw) or the pac man socks???? are we going to talk about how his social battery is so limited and the poor thing is so burnt out he's developed a reputation for hating people that quickly?? or the fact that he's so into philosophy he can quote it casually in conversation and actually apply it to real life scenarios????? we share a brain cell. we were made for each other fr. marcus baker is the type of boyfriend to know you better than you know yourself. Marcus texts you good morning and good night when he can't climb through your window like a 90s fever dream and kiss you absolutley stupid, to give you something sweet to dream about he says. he always says it with his stupid deep voice and stupid floppy hair and stupid lovestruck look on his face. you want to kiss it off. every time you try there's a smaller more smug more loving look underneith.

Just started the new season of Ginny and Georgia and it hurts my heart deeply, I can't even make it through the first episode without pausing and taking deep breaths.
It's hard to watch because both girls have been through alot and Ginny's anger is justified in ways but also this poor woman has been through SO MUCH and seeing everyone judge her so cruelly, Zion's parents, Paul's parents etc.
Growing up in abuse is something that's so hard to explain to people who've never experienced it. It changes you in ways that people can't even imagine and I loathe when someone calls survivors of abuse "childish" because the reality is that maturity doesn't come with age, you don't mature every year you grow and second of all these people have been through so much that they live a huge chunk of their lives on survival mode and constantly doing what they can to survive even if it's unhealthy or wrong or harmful. They're just trying to survive, they didn't have the safe, nurturing environment to grow and mature.
Georgia is only 30 and that is so so young to be treated like this. Everytime I see her younger self flashbacks it breaks my heart, she didn't deserve this and she did the best she could in the situation she had and people still judge her for it as if they would have even survived a second on her shoes.
Hope both mother and daughter get the therapy they need and communicate in a healthy way.
