ROUND ONE POST MORTEM
The following monsters have been MASHED out of the tournament!
Leprechaun is arguably the biggest loser, suffering the two most one-sided defeats so far in the Mash. The Creature from the Black Lagoon cut the Irish imp's Florida vacation short with a whopping 83.3%. Leprechaun fled inland, hoping someplace landlocked would be safer... unfortunately for him he met up with ol' Leatherface deep in the heart of Texas, and got absolutely meathooked by the gore-met's 87.2%.
Hannibal vs. Pennywise was the biggest, most heated match, with an unprecedented 148 total votes cast.
The Invisible Man surprised me the most this round. The transparent tyrant established an early, robust lead over Ghostface and never looked back. In the inaugural Mash a couple years ago Invisible Man was eliminated in the first round... Will Tumblr's Invisible stans carry the bandaged baddie to victory, or was this just a flash in the invisible pan?
Killer matchups coming up in round two! Not one but TWO Universal Monsters All-Star matches, plus Dracula and Hannibal Lecter will square off to see who serves cunt the hardest!

The only bad is that I tend to hide my real feelings a lot and lightly push people away bc I feel like a bother if my negative feelings are noticeable. However, if a person genuinely keeps reassuring it’s okay to let my feelings out I’ll crack eventually.
With a lover: I’m okay with anything my partner will be okay with and understanding their wants and needs. I want them to be my pillar just as I am with them. I include them in mostly everything I do if they are willing to do that and not afraid to show them off if they are comfortable with it. If they aren’t comfortable with physical affection, the most I’ll ask is light hand holding or gentle touches. I hardly initiate fights and do my best to understand their point of view but if they start being disrespectful I’m not tolerating that behavior. My love language is quality time and physical touch, the occasional gifting as well. Ideally want someone to be okay with my menace behavior and have nice looking arms 🫶
Dislikes: I hate when people try to control me and force me to be a certain way bc I’m not letting anybody change the way I am for them. Very spicy food too. 🖤🖤

Patient and hardworking: both are traits that Danny has, and both are traits he'd enjoy in a partner. The randomness of your personality is something he finds enticing, and Danny loves to find out what makes those he's, uh, interested in, tick.
Risk taking is the name of the game, baby. It may be surprising, but he is goofy - at least, in a dark sense of humor type of way. He's extremely charismatic and has a pretty good sense of humor - it's how he went so long without getting caught, to a degree - and so this man can and will make you laugh.
Loves that you aren't afraid to speak your mind and call people out for things. If it's directed at him for any reason he might be a bit flustered at first, but honestly, he'll think it's cute seeing you all riled up.
Loves that you show him off, and he'll do exactly the same if you're okay with it. Has more polaroids and photos of you - many of which you didn't seem to notice were being taken - than you know.
More than okay with your menace behavior - I mean, why wouldn't he be? He loves it, and finds you incredibly fun.

The Greatest American Rock Star Tournament
A lot of new people have discovered the March Madness of American Rock Bands in the past couple of days and are reblogging and commenting on polls that closed some time ago. I appreciate the energy, but unfortunately there’s also a lot of anger and threats directed at bands and the people who voted for them. I propose redirecting that energy to our follow-up tournament for The Greatest American Rock Star! Follow this blog and reblog this post so we can get as many voters as possible for the next tournament and hopefully avoid people being angry about it after the fact.
Here's the plan:
I’m making a list of solo rock performers from the United States (including artists who were born, naturalized, or just lived in the US for a long time). The list is below the cut and currently has 312 artists. I’m still accepting submissions but will cap it 320.
We're using the broadest definition of rock for the artists participating in this tournament. Genres and sub-genres will included acid rock, alternative rock, art rock, blues rock, country rock, dance music, doo-wop, electronic music, folk rock, funk, glam rock, grunge, heavy metal, hip hop, indie rock, industrial, new wave, pop, power pop, punk, rap, reggae, r&b, rock and roll, rockabilly, singer/songwriter, ska, soft rock, soul, surf music, yacht rock, and more! If you think an artist is "not rock" then the best thing you can do is not vote for them. Nobody wants to see your comments about how you think [artists name] is "not rock" and if you're too obnoxious about it you might get blocked.
For the first stage of the competition, artists will be in groups of 4 with other artists from the same decade. Since many artists have multi-decade careers, I’m placing them in the decade when they first emerged as a popular recording artist, which is deliberately vague, and I may shift some artists around a bit to balance the groups.
Schedule:
April 3-10: Group Stage
Every day I will post 9 to 10 polls of groups of 4. These polls will be open 7 days to allow them to get the most possible attention from Tumblr users. Campaigning for favorite artists is encouraged. Vitriol directed at artists and especially at Tumblr users who vote for them is not, and may get you blocked.
April 17-20: The Winnowing

Stu is very much a social butterfly. He loves being the "funny guy" who has a tendency of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. This would be a huge conflict within your relationship in the beginning. Similiar to you, Stu is a wild child himself, pulling parties at his house while his parents were out of town.
After hearing about your substance abuse and eating disorders, Stu tries to help you with your recovery. Whether it be keeping snacks for you, or killing whoever makes fun of your ed/ addiction or getting you into a recovery center if you need it- Stu's your guy. Although Stu isn't really the closest to his own family because of the fact that they were too busy with their work to bond with them, Stu loves how your family and you are close and how they treat him as if he's family.

Norman notices how family oriented you were, spending a lot of time with them and talking about how you love your family. Norman is family oriented himself- even though he's more of a mama's boy. Given how inexperienced he is socially or with life outside his mother and school, he doesn't understand much about your addictions or disorders. With lack of knowledge, Norman is a good listener and tries his best with helping you.
The main issue would be Norma not liking you because of the parties you frequent. But when she sees you and Norman reading your writings or bonding over how you make mix tape cds together, she would be more welcoming towards you. Given that Norman hasn't had any experience in traveling, he's more than willing to explore around any locations you may be wanting to visit. He adores how adorable you look when you're exploring a new place.

The movie kept going, showing gruesome scenes of killings by the murder that was in that movie they had chosen; usually it wasn't a problem for Y/n to watch horror movies but there was something about that one that made her get closer and closer to Jerome, something the ginger hadn't noticed earlier but as soon as he did a mischievous smile formed on his face, he slowly moved his arm to rest it on her shoulders and to be closer to her.
His gaze was fixed on her face just waiting for the right moment for…"Boo!" the girl quickly slapped his chest, making a guttural laugh from Jerome start, who continued to laugh for a while before grabbing her jaw and connecting their lips in a hungry kiss that ended with the start of a make-out session on the couch.
Only Jerome Valeska could start making out session during a scary horror movie.

What do you think of Slasher Villians fighting? Do you have any "Fair" 1v1s?
I like the idea of the slashers interacting, which is why I actually enjoyed Freddy Vs Jason a bit, despite its many mistakes. (Lori is one of the worst final girls in the Friday the 13th series, and I stand by that.)
Fair 1v1s are hard though cause so many slashers are either immortal or extremely hard to kill. (Any Ghostface would lose against most slashers, cause they’re, for the most part, just people.)
Though I feel like there would be some fights that would be interesting to see, like maybe Candyman vs Freddy Krueger, or Leatherface vs Michael Myers. And there’s the matchups people have wanted, like Jason vs Leatherface, Jason vs Michael, and other ones that I can’t think of right now
I’m not sure, there’s a few fights I’d like seeing. Jason already fought Freddy, Ash, and Leatherface if you count comics, and alien vs predator is a thing, so I mean there’s room for stuff like that. Hell, I’d see another Freddy vs Jason movie if they made one.
