Social burnout/exhaustion series - Dottore edition

Chill time with Dottore is... unnerving, to say the least. After a mini questionnaire about your day and what led up to you feeling like this, he finally lets up and allows you to sit with him as he goes about whatever business, but eventually you find that he keeps glancing up at you with increasing frequency, his head tilted to the side as he just... observes you. Though when he is concentrating on his work, the background noise can be quite pleasant as he hums and muses to himself and messes around with different reagents and such.

He understands the feelings you're going through (and even relates to a degree), but that doesn't really make him much less of a pain to be around, especially if you're feeling highly strung. He can and will write notes about you, the common factors that lead up to your exhaustion, what you say and do, how you approach him, all of that kind of stuff. He's also quite curious as to why you decide to approach him of all people.

Guys I have a theory....a game theory about Dottore

He might be from Khaenri'ah and I want you guys to hear me out very well on this. This will contain some kind of spoilers for the quests we have so far and also the manga. I really hope this will actually make sense instead of something my brain just pieced together somehow.

Okay so we know how the machines all come from Khaenri'ah, right? The people built them and after Kahenri'ah fell, they just roam the world now. We also know how the people became the monsters they are now.

We know how Dottore experiments on people, right? And we also know he can turn a human into a machine very easily, and he used to have a whole lab filled with ruin guards. He is also known to be over 400 years old. On top of this, in the new quest with The Wanderer, Nahida tells us The Balladeer's story in the form of a fairy tale, and what do we see in it? Dottore, who appears to be all black, in a fox costume. And look very carefully at the eyes made on his costume and his actual eye (not even two eyes, just one eye). It looks exactly like the samachurls.

He also says "I am a monstrosity, yet they are too foolish to see it... I pity them." in the story told by Nahida. This could be hinting at how he is one of the so called monsters from Khaenri'ah, except they don't know because he wears that mask all the time. His mask also has a blue star on it, and it looks like the star associated with Khaenri'ah. The blue star is right where his eyes, or maybe even eye at this point, would be. He never shows his eyes except in the manga. But the Dottore we see there is also a clone, and so Dottore could've easily changed the eyes to make them look normal without the star that we see in the eyes of Kaeya and Dainsleif.

He also talks shit about people with visions, and says that they think they are special because the Gods have given them visions. And what do we know about the Gods of Celestia? They destroyed Khaenri'ah because they knew the truth about them. And how did Dottore get the dendro gnosis? By telling Nahida the truth about Celestia, which is something only the people of Khaenri'ah know about.

But hey, that's just a theory. A game theory. Thanks for reading. I think I got it all down. Please tell me this makes sense I don't want to seem like a complete dumbass about this.

Man, screw this stupid piece of shit, ya'll don't understand how much I struggled with this drawing. It was just supposed to be a quick little sketch, a mere doodle, but Dottore and his annoying complicated outfit ruined everything! And yeah I know, overly complex outfits are normal for Genshin, but with the playable characters it's way easier to find good references of them in different angles and such. With Dottore we only really have 1 (one) cutscene with him.

"But Tizeline" I hear you exclaim "why didn't you just quit and draw something easier!?"

FOOLS! By the time I realized the hardships I was facing I was too far in. I couldn't just let the bastard win! hey that rhymes There was no going back.

And so I fought on, to the very end. Well at least until I was done with the sketch.

Like I said, it was only supposed to be a doodle , but now I'm invested dammit! I might honestly complete this later.
