Okay ermm im having like such bad artblock issues so have this that ive made like a good amount of days ago instead bc im too lazy to take pics of my sketches???? bulk post incoming insanely soon tho.

This is Kaedehara Arashi (no I didn't steal the name erm....)

He's part of some random universe I'm making again with one of my friends and his lore is way too extensive to just explain in my post so if you're curious just ask me instead but I'll be going over a few random things um

Everyone in the world has like some sort of power and depending on wether it's socially considered good or bad its called either a blessing or a curse. He has a blessing turned curse called "Kabuki Kaede - Narukamis Curse" (and I've tried my best to do research about what names I'll be giving my characters and their blessings but the internet can only offer so much in terms of cultural information). From what I've been able to gather (i like to give my characters names with symbolism) Kabuki is a dramatic form of japanese theatre, and Kaede basically means red maple (or red maple leaf). Yes, I did steal the Narukami mountain name from genshin BUT IT'S A PLACEHOLDER because I haven't made a map yet. The curse refers to the split he created by accidentally finding his power, creating a long ravine down a meadow. The ravine is now known as Narukamis "canyon".

Tho i did my best with doing some research specifically about the dragon spirit that is so called "kabuki kaede" i know literally nothing about the geography of japan so don't drag me just yet- this is also heavily genshin inspired.

The Lins have always been some sort of enigma ever since they have served Liyue.

Their bloodline is shrouded in mystery despite their many known feats. It’s as if they deliberately chose to hide themselves – and over the centuries, it’s as if their name is slowly being forgotten.

And the current Empress, Lin Xueying, seems to be aware of this.

Surprisingly, to her, this is but another golden opportunity.

The role of the Jade Empire has changed over the years, and she believes that now – in the age where gods and adepti no longer rule over Liyue – as a mortal, and that of high importance– she shall mold her role into… something that is much more suitable for her.

As the Grand Empress, and no longer with the guidance of the divine, as a mortal, she must seize every opportunity she can, even in the shadows.

Yulia is can be a little odd and mysterious, but that gets overshadowed as she is mostly seen as brave, outgoing, and a curious person who gets easily exited over some little things.

She often smiles in the company of her friends

She can't get easily angered, and likes to rile others if they try to make her upset. She gets annoyed when nothing goes right in a plan she either chose or made.

While Outdoorsy, she loves to read books and play with her vision when she could. Whenever there is a specific time and moment, she'll rest underneath a tree on a sunny day as it is one of her ways to relax.

Likes:

While usually assisting Amber as a fellow Outrider, she loves the outdoors and go on adventures, and would often venture to Dragonspine to Ice skate. Yulia sometimes invites Klee or some of her friends to join her.

Oftentimes, she would stay in the library and read there for hours. Maybe having tea with Lisa if she has the chance.

Likes to hang out with friends and play games with them.

Dislikes:

Yulia doesn't like bitter drinks, and prefers sweets over them.

She doesn't like fighting over something trivial and would walk away from those situations.

Notes & Trivia:

⬖ Yulia's hair is naturally white, the teal colors are from a washable dye she puts on once in a while.

⬖ Yulia likes to explore and can easily make friends, so once she visited Liyue she somehow met and became friends with Hu Tao who then introduced her to some Liyue characters like Xiangling, Xingqui, Chongyun, and etc.

⬖ Rosaria helps her train as both of them use a Polearm and obtained similar Visions. Yulia would love to ask Kaeya for some help, but she doesn't want to bother the Captain.

⬖ Yulia has relatives in Snezhnaya, hence why her first name was picked.

⬖ Yulia was originally meant to be a Snezhnayan, but I decided to change her Nationality.

⬖Yulia means Youthful in Slavic, while Herscher means Monarch or Ruler in German.

⬖ I didn't know what to name her first, so I decided to go look into Yuri on Ice and found a name.

⬖ Like some Genshin characters, she is inspired by a few Honkai impact characters, specifically Kiana and ???.

-She is also a little inspired by Monarch, aka Amalee. Hence her last name which references both Game and Vtuber.

⬖ Yulia stars in a Genshin x Bnha fic I'm currently making. She has an op quirk that lets her summon Pokémon.

The charater you might see the most on this blog is called Amelia. In the past year or so she had become my persona/self insert device, but I take extra care in my drafts to give her her own personality and sense of self, so don’t worry. I made this point just so you know that, no matter the fandom, she might show up. I have a fanfiction series that explains her character, but I’m still working on the first story or two, but there is going to be a while before I get it done.

I accept criticism and advice towards improvement.
