Female Samurai by Tokyo Otaku Mode
Not sure who she is exactly. Could be an actress playing a female Taira Samurai in Taiga Drama Taira No Kiyomori, or someone else.

Mai Zenin Hologram Can Badge Manufacturer: Bandai Spirits
might looks like similar to the river from my previous post, but it’s not.. it was from the same river, Kamogawa, but yeah, different location… from the famous bridge where legend says Shanaou Yoshitsune was fighting Musashibo Benkei within the lore of the infamous Genji war… still, part of my childhood’s playing area, since IDK why, but as a kid (and even till now) I have been fascinated with this location…
was my last location of making this series of photos, and taking that oversized hologram can badge of Mai Zenin there, hahah… nothing too mysterious was happening during this last photo shoot back in my childhood hometown tho, just a peaceful moment for me to take the snap.. and yeee, maybe saying goodbye…
ahem, anyway, love these huge holographic can badge, although sometimes it can really feels like an idol type of collectibles, ahahahahahahaw
bringing her back 5/5

Note
how would you imagine the corps’ uniform to look like in the modern world if demons still existed? Or in any other time period you find interesting.
Well, if they're going for a modern military look, then I guess camo, but that's boring. I accept all the cyberpunk-looking modern AU version because those usually look awesome. I have no knack for designing cyberpunk, though, I just admire what other people do with the KnY cyberpunk look.
As for other time periods......... I WANT DEMON SLAYERS IN GENPEI WAR ERA ARMOR

(a/n: no curses, mentions of dick?)
shogun!ryomen sukuna who earns his title after defeating the great minamoto yoritomo. despite being a nobody from a know-nothing clan, sukuna manages to manipulate quarrels between the recent shogunate and the imperial court with his assertive attitude and impressive rhetoric. it isn’t easy though. yoritomo is cold and cunning and wise beyond his years, but it takes one to know one. after many heated debates, sukuna successfully ostracizes yoritomo in a period of stalemate and assumes the title of shogun.
shogun!ryomen sukuna who defeats the remaining imperial forces and achieves complete control over the country, effectively reducing the emperor’s family to nothing more than a symbol of sovereignty. although he tells the population that the shogunate is lower in status, it’s nothing more than political propaganda. the shogun possesses more power in all facets of japanese society, from trade to judicial functions. in addition, sukuna sells lands to samurai who fought fiercely in the genpei war to garner more support.
shogun!ryomen sukuna who rules with an iron fist. although most of his attendants once belonged to yoritomo, they nearly snap their necks at how fast they bow in sukuna’s direction out of unshakeable fear. he simply exudes raw strength and power in billowing waves, responding to insolence with crushed skulls and mangled figures. his standards are just as stringent, often relegating people deemed “too inferior” for their positions. attendants like to gossip among themselves over where a man like him came from.
shogun!ryomen sukuna who realizes that an heir is necessary to continue his shogunal reign because unfortunately for him, he’s not immortal. he considers letting a random clan assume the role after his death, thinking that the momentary uproar is enough to satisfy his twisted humor, before realizing that he likes power too much to let it go so easily. plus, now that his subordinates are completely obedient to him, sukuna finds himself bored. and that simply won’t do.
shogun!ryomen sukuna who demands every single family to send a daughter to his estate for choosing. the order alone leaves fathers outraged and mothers crying, but resistance to the shogun is a crime punishable by death, so families concede to his demand with tear-stained cheeks. normally, sukuna isn’t picky with bedding women so long as they’re a good fuck, but now that he plans to create an heir with one, he refrains from sticking his dick anywhere he wants. he needs to play his cards right.
shogun!ryomen sukuna who purchases you with nothing more than a handful of copper and two horses. although there are other beautiful maidens with talents that surely surpass yours, there’s a steely edge in your expression that reveals the contempt that simmers deep in the pit of your stomach. it’s a fierce spirit that challenges his own, the kind of spirit that he wants to snuff out. it thrills him to no end. the decision shocks his attendants, but they don’t dare to disobey when sukuna orders them to fetch your parents.

Tomoe Gozen (巴 御前) (1157–1247); was a late twelfth-century female samurai warrior known for her bravery and strength. She is believed to have fought in and survived the Genpei War. She was also the concubine of Minamoto no Yoshinaka. According to one historical account, Tomoe was beautiful, with white skin, long hair, and charming features. She was also a remarkably strong archer, and as a swordswoman, she was a warrior worth a thousand, ready to confront a demon or a god, mounted or on foot. She handled unbroken horses with superb skill; she rode unscathed down perilous descents. Whenever a battle was imminent, Yoshinaka sent her out as his first captain, equipped with strong armour, an oversized sword, and a mighty bow; and she performed more deeds of valour than any of his other warriors (The Tale of the Heike).

today's my last day in kamakura so I visited the little history and culture museum. I wasn't expecting to find anything related to the genpei wars proper, but they actually have this gorgeous screen painting of the yashima and dan no ura battles!
Tumblr media
gravity has no effect on yoshitsune
the museum itself was really cool, very informative and a lot of interesting items on display
Tumblr media
like these very very small carved wood figures, they're just so cute 🥺
they also had a whole section dedicated to the ruins of yofukuji temple and what it must've looked like. there's even a part of the exhibit where you can touch and hold some of the materials they dug up, and a VR tour of a reconstitution of the temple grounds. there were no visitors when I went so I got to ask all the questions I had about it lol. might go look at the actual ruins next time I come here

Ikemen Genjiden Timeline
Simply putting together the characters' timeline until the prologue. I don't know the accuracy of this but I'll do my best.
1200 Years ago...
Kharin, a female Oni gives birth to a baby boy and exchanges him for a human child. The Oni baby lives on and grows up among the humans. That child's name is Ibuki.
Tamamo was born. He grew up in his fox clan and went onto become the Fox King, going around and killing other demons.
Akatsuki and Himiko's story takes place here. Kurama was born. In the later years, Tamamo destroyed Kurama's Tengu Clan leaving only Kurama alive. Also the same time when Ibuki adopted Kurama and Tamamo meeting Rikka (I'm not sure) After Kurama left Ibuki, Ibuki keeps going in and out of the human world to cause chaos and meets Seimei for the first time.
Seimei dies and Ibuki is alone again. Also probably the time Tamamo got bored of killing and started living in the human world around humans. He asked Rikka to join him, but he declines.
Akihito was born and also cursed by his own father, Emperor Toba. While Akihito grew up, Tamamo was Emperor Toba's mistress.
Decades later....
Akihito gets shunned by his parents and lives on his own. His parents and brother dies and the village people tries to kill him because he's cursed. Akihito's curse goes out of control and his body was put to sleep by many Onmyojis. His body was kept securely in Abe mansion's basement. Tamamo leaves Emperor Toba. Yoichi, Morinaga, Sueharu, Yoritomo, Kagetoki, Benkei were born. Taira clan defeats Minamoto clan, Yoritomo was exiled and Yoshitsune was born. Shigehira and Yasuchika are born
Some more years later....

Yoritomo also met Hojo Masako during this time and she gets obsessed with him but gets rejected. Yoshitsune meets Kurama and claimed his soul. Yoichi meets Shigehira, and falls in love. Yasuchika meets ghost Akihito and Akihito starts raising him. Later, Ibuki destroys the entirety of Abe clan and forms a pact with Akihito. Akihito goes back to being a human and they all start to live together.
Few more years later....
Sueharu becomes a wealthy businessman. Yoritomo decides to start gathering an army and calls for Yoshitsune Yoshitsune asks Kurama to come with him, but Kurama declines. Yoshitsune meets Benkei and Yoichi on the way and asks them to join him. Yoichi breaks up with Shigehira under the cherry blossom tree. Yoshitsune and gang were found by Sueharu and was brought to Hiraizumi which was under Fujiwara Clan. Yoshitsune was loved by both Fujiwara head and his people but was hated by Fujiwara's son. Yoritomo becomes the Shogun and opens the SHogunate, later Yoshitsune with his small army joins the Shogunate, getting ready for the Genpei war against the Taira clan. Genpei war starts, and Yoshitsune outshines everyone. Yoichi's father and brothers were killed by the Taira Clan for a false charge. Genpei war ends with Taira clan losing. Shigehira was the only survivor of the Taira bloodline. Shigehira joins the Shogunate. Yoshitsune gets killed by Yoritomo. Yoshitsune meets Kurama again and makes a contract with him to give his soul to Kurama after he dies. Yasuchika becomes the head of the Abe Clan and Akihito becomes the Shadow King.
