Holly Poly is, as the name implies, an exchange for polyamorous relationships. OT3s, OT4s, OT6s, orgies, open relationships, sedoretus, whatever strikes your fancy, as long as it involves three or more entities.
Participants are able to offer and request fanart, fanfiction, fanvids, podfic, fanmixes, gifsets and/or aesthetics/moodboards.
Dates: All times are 11:00am UTC, save for golive which will depend on when final pinch hits are posted. Apologies if the change of time causes any confusion; this change was necessary since the previous time used for deadlines did not work well for the mods' mix of timezones last year. We will make sure to update this post with links to countdown timers once they are applicable, so that people can check on those to see how long is left before the next deadline.

31 October-11 November: Signups are open
17 November: Assignments will be sent out no later than this date. (And hopefully will go out much sooner.)

Alpha Testing
Hello again!
I had some unexpectedly busy days this week, so I'm a little behind the schedule I set for myself. I'm putting final touches on today, doing my own play tests, and then if all goes well, start going through applications this evening.
Thank you to everyone who has applied! If you missed my post and would like a chance to participate, here's a link to the application!
I want to reiterate (because I'm really nervous) that this is new for me. I don't know how many people I'll need, so if you don't get an invite on the first day (probably Sunday PDT), keep a look out for an invite on the following days if I feel I need more eyes. I will be using an email and discord name associated with the IF, so you know who it is.
This test will cover the first 65-75% of part one.
For those curious (also because I'm super proud of myself), I've surpassed 90k words! I underestimated this part. It is likely to be 110k+ but note that the different openings are roughly 35-45k together and cannot be experienced in one playthrough.
I added a few things to previous chapters too but nothing super serious. However, I'd like to say that I sort of really like the name "Church of the All-Father" more than "Church of Ozwyn." It's a relatively minor change in the grand scheme of things, but I want you all to be aware of it. There are other things but I'll get into it when I update the game next (and I certainly hope that update will be the Part One update).
Also, I did add a tag list to the Tumblr site under the navigation menu!

DCA Info Part 2: About Diamond Crown Academy
Basic Information
Diamond Crown Academy (also known as DCA) is an all-girls college for both magically-gifted and non-magic students. Unlike Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy, the academy is not famous for just the powerful students with magic, it is also famous for the graduates who provide their knowledge and skills for the community. The academy also is famous for the idol performances that are viewed worldwide as well as the joint school festival where students from Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy come together to enjoy the festivities on Diamond Crown Academy school grounds.
Unlike Night Raven College, which has seven dorms, Diamond Crown Academy has ten and each are modeled after a certain Disney Princess. These dorms are:

Pommeneige, founded on the Cheerfulness of the Innocent Princess
Glastanzerin, founded on the Generosity of the Maiden of the Glass Shoe
Futterwacken, founded on the Wonders of the Curious Explorer
Rosadormienti, founded on the Dreams of the Slumbering Princess
Coquille, founded on the Adventurous Spirit of the Secretive Mermaid Princess
Chateau Beastiale, founded on the Intellect of the Golden Maiden
Magiaoasis, founded on the Headstrong Heart of the Princess of Sand
Dragonstone, founded on the Bravery of the Maiden who held the Dragon Sword
Sagamore, founded on the Diplomacy of the Princess of Nature's Voice
Lagniappe, founded on the Ambitions of the Maiden of the City of Lights.
Relationships with NRC and RSA
The school is mostly a "peacemaker" for Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy and (as mentioned above) an occasional school festival held for all three schools on the campus of Diamond Crown Academy. Everyone enjoys the food and activities the academy has set up, both Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy look forward to such an event as it was always spectacular and memorable.
Transportation
In a similar fashion to Night Raven College, a carriage brings the students to the academy. However, unlike the mostly gothic aesthetic of the Ebony Carriage, the carriage used to transport new students to Night Raven College, Diamond Crown Academy's carriage has a mostly pastel/cutesy aesthetic to it, with the interior functioning similarly to a bed, with pastel colors, a soft matress and plush pillows. The carriage's exterior is white and is decorated with gold detailing and it is pulled by white horses.
Uniforms
Unlike the standard uniform of Night Raven College, the standard campus uniforms of Diamond Crown Academy are modified to fit the students' liking, with only indicator of their dorm is the color scheme of one of the ten heroines (Author's Note: I say heroines because Alice isn't considered a Disney Princess) as well as the color of the gem brooch on their uniform. The Futterwacken dorm uses custom keys instead of brooches.

FAQ & General Information
Who can participate in Verlady Week?
Everyone can! You do not need to pass some sort of Verlady shipping proficiency test and it does not matter whether you have been interested in them for years or have just recently discovered them: if you think this event looks interesting and you’d like to be a part of it in some way or another, you are more than welcome to join in on the fun!
What kind of contributions are allowed?
Everything is allowed! Fanart, fanfic, moodboards, memes, shitposts, playlists, headcanons, wips and snippets, poetry, image manipulations and collages, posing your tsums or action figures and taking a picture - there is literally no limit and no restrictions! If you have a fun idea for any of the prompts, go ahead and do it!
What are the minimum requirements for a contribution?
To have fun! Aside from that, absolutely none. There are no minimum word counts or language restrictions and a stick figure drawing will be just as cherished, celebrated and loved by this blog as a fully rendered artwork. All of you are amazing and cool and deserving of some spotlight! We are here to share our love for Vergil and Lady and no matter how much or little you wish to contribute, you are welcome to join in and celebrate with us.
Are there any content restrictions?
No. This event is and forever will remain open to all flavours of Verlady: the good, the bad, the dirty, so to speak. You are allowed to share the most tooth-rotting and wholesome fluff as well as the raunchiest, most depraved PWP you can think of. Dark themes as well as Dead Dove content are allowed. The one single rule every contributor will have to follow through meticulously is to. Tag. Your. Stuff. Thoroughly.

And you are so valid! This is why it is so important for everyone to tag their contributions properly - so that you can practice self-care and filter it out! We want to share our love for Verlady together, and we also want to respect each other’s boundaries. When sharing and reblogging contributions, this blog will follow a strict convention of “content warning: [content]” in the tags and you are, at every single point in time, allowed and encouraged to reach out and send a message requesting any content you’d like to be added to the tag list. (Anon asks are always enabled, and you will not need to justify why you would like a certain tag to be added.) The default warnings like “content warning: dub-con” etc. are already part of the tag list, but if you have any more obscure triggers that others might not even consider potentially upsetting, please do not hesitate to request additional content descriptor tags for your convenience!
Why are there so many prompts per day?
Because sometimes one prompt sparks joy but another prompt doesn’t - the prompt list is designed to give you some variety and you can fill as many prompts as you want and as little as you like! Feel free to stick to one prompt only, or to throw everything together into one prompt fill.
Can I combine prompts from multiple days into one fill?
Knock yourself out my friend! The prompts are meant to inspire and if you feel inspired, then they have fulfilled their purpose.
Can I submit my own already published work as contribution?
Yes and no. Fanworks already published that just so happen to coincide with one of the prompts are, of course, allowed to be reblogged by yourself if you feel like you have already created the perfect fit to one of the prompts, however, this blog will only reblog and share content created specifically for this event! That can be something entirely new, made completely from scratch. That can also be a continuation to the thing you have already made and want to expand upon (i.e. a new chapter of a fanfic/new entry to a series, the continuation of a comic, a new fanart to accompany another you have previously made, etc.)
Do I have to participate each day?
No! You participate as much as you want and as little as you like! We all have obligations IRL and sometimes they get in the way of fun things like Verlady Week. You are more than welcome to try and participate each day, but you are just as welcome to only participate on one single day, and just as welcome to not participate at all and just sit back and enjoy and share the things other people want to contribute to the event.
Do I have to be a creator to participate?
No! There will be prompts geared towards people who do not feel confident sharing something they have created. You can still spread the love if you want to!
I really want to do something for a prompt but I think I might not make it in time for the event week.
I feel you! Worry not, friend, for late entries will still be accepted and shared and showered in love. Best case scenario, this event will become a recurring annual thing and I will see your new entry to the event even if you stumble across the prompt list for 2024 in 2025 and still felt inspired to create and share - but at the very, very least I will guarantee you that the event tag (#verladyweek) will be monitored up until December 31st. If you want to be extra sure your late contribution is seen, please feel free to tag @verladyweek in your post.
Where can I share my contributions?
Verlady Week is on Tumblr and AO3. Be sure to tag #verladyweek and feel free to ping @verladyweek to make sure your contribution will be seen and shared by the event account. (There might eventually be an active Twitter account as well, but you will be informed ahead of time if it comes to that. For now, don't bet on it.)

Reading your blog i get a feeling i am reading something from experienced and well organized person that kidna has life figured out. How did you get to that point from just starting? I am still young person and impostor syndrome is real.
No one ever has life figured out and is that well-organized. What you're seeing is my ability to operationalize things in such a way that I no longer feel like I have no control. Operationalization is the skill of taking large difficult tasks that you can’t do yet (e.g. - doing your job, taking care of your finances, having a social life, etc.) and break them down into smaller, more reasonable tasks that you can do. The ability to operationalize big tasks is the real skill to being an adult. Once you've leveled up your operationalization in various aspects of your life, you'll feel a lot less imposter syndrome.
Operationalization is a learned skill that we apply to things as we understand them. We can see this demonstrated in small children - asking a five-year-old to "clean her room" is generally too difficult a process for her because she can't yet make the mental connection between the large goal (a clean room) with all of the smaller tasks that need to be accomplished in order to achieve that large goal. She doesn't yet understand that "clean your room" means "put the crayons back into the crayon box", "put all your toys into the bins", "stack the bins in the closet", "put the chairs away", "put the dirty clothes into the hamper", "put the trash and scraps into the trash", and so on. If we tell her to complete those tasks individually, she understands and can do them. It takes practice and experience for her to understand that "clean your room" comprises all of these various tasks. Once she has operationalized the process of "clean your room", she will be able to make those connections in the future and "clean your room" will no longer be too much for her.
This is also what experience teaches us - how to operationalize tasks and do them. Yesterday's post about gauging ideas by feasibility shows what operationalization is good for - I can take a big concept idea and break it down into component tasks that I can evaluate for feasibility, and I can apply and repeat this process as many times as necessary until I get to tasks I know I can do. Once I've operationalized a big task, not only can I break down how to accomplish that task, but I can also make confident predictions about the task, its subtasks, and those details around those subtasks. This principle applies to just about every big task that feels overwhelming, work and otherwise. The more we operationalize things, the better we become at it. Operationalization is a skill like any other - practice leads to improvements and familiarity.
As a corollary to this, Imposter Syndrome is your state when you've begun operationalizing something new, but haven't fully done so yet. You're able to do some of it but haven't fully internalized all of the connections yet, so it feels like you don't quite get it. Once you're familiar enough with the tasks that you feel confident in your ability to predict the results, imposter syndrome tends to vanish.

Who do you enjoy writing the most?
That's very hard to answer. I really enjoy them all for different reasons! There are some coming scenes with Ly that I enjoyed writing, and I hope when Ch3 Part One is out, you try the hungover route with them because I had a bit of fun with it.
Regardless, I hope Chapter 3 further expresses my love for each character!

DCA Info Part 4: Academy Pets, Horses and Griffins

Pets/Animal Companions
The academy stays true to the legends of the princesses by having the students bring their pets or be assigned to an animal companion as it is believed to help with responsibility and compassion. The animals have a spell cast on them that allows them to talk with their owners. If someone other than the owner tries to talk to them they can only hear the sounds the animal makes. But since the students have Animal Linguistics, there isn't much of a language barrier. The dorm rooms also have animal beds made for the pets. There is plenty of pet essentials in the school store too. The main building as well as the dorm living quarter buildings are built to have pathways for the animals so that they can venture around with little difficulty. The animals that aren't owned by the students are just wild animals who made themselves at home in the academy. Faustus often talks to them regarding the living conditions.
Horses
The horses of Diamond Crown Academy are used for the riding competitions. Though some students have their own horses brought to the stables. Most of the horses were raised in the academy.
Each of the horses are able to speak to humans via a gem collar. Until the collar is taken off or when not wearing one, only other animals can hear them speak. The collars have gems that also have the colors based on which dorm the student riding them are in.
From left to right, the horses shown in the photo above are:
🌹 Lusio (Arabian) - Briar's steed and he is considered a blue ribbon horse. He is a very proud stallion and is proud of his accomplishments. While his behavior makes him come off as narcissistic, but he admires and respects his rider. [He specializes in Racing, Showjumping, Dressage, Endurance Training]
Relationship with Rider
Briar and Lusio are a great duo, always in sync, but he just can’t help but brag to the other horses to the point where they’re just “we know, Lusio… I know!”
🐻 Tala (Gypsy Vanner) - Elu's steed and she is a mellow horse who has a lot of strength and stamina. She is often the mediator when the horses argue with each other. [She specializes in Racing, Trail Riding, Horseback Archery]
Relationship with Rider
Elu and Tala are both the calm pair, just vibing with their surroundings as they get lost in the moment. Though Tala tends to play peacemaker amongst the other horses in the stable.
🐲 Yinglong (Holsteiner) - Jinlong's steed and he is horse with amazing jumping strength. He is very energetic and likes his mane to be combed. [He specializes in Racing, Showjumping]
Relationship with Rider
Jinlong and Yinglong are both competitive and have a fire in their eyes. Yinglong likes to eavesdrop on gossip and will blabber to other horses.
👠 Dusty (Rocky Mountain Horse) - Ella's steed with a lot of optimism and sometimes does ranch work when he's not competing. He likes to socialize with people and other horses. He doesn't mind getting ribbons braided in his mane. [He specializes in Parade, Dressage, Ranch work]
Relationship with Rider
Dusty and Ella are the cute and peppy duo. Dusty is sometimes oblivious about the atmosphere in the room.
📚 Sullivan (Selle Francais) - Rozeline's steed who is timid but has a very good record on competitions like Lusio. Lusio considers him a rival even though he doesn't even want to compete. He will walk away from strangers and seek out his rider for comfort. [He specializes in Racing, Dressage, Showjumping]
Relationship with Rider
Rozeline and Sullivan both like their riding time to be solo. Although, Sullivan is scared of the dark and quite cowardly.
Griffins
Griffins are much different from horses, they are proud and wild so they aren't around as much when the winter season arrives. They migrate to warmer climates and return in spring. Griffins are very selective of who rides them and there is a reason why Griffin disc is only exclusive to the academy. But there have sports shows that feature it. Actius handles the Griffins while Faustus handles the horses at the academy.

I’m not the type to say stuff like this but.. it has to be said.
Now that I’ve gotten your attention… Elsagate content on YouTube is back.
Elsagate Content is a type of YouTube content centered towards kids. If you have not heard of it, then you would think it’s good. It’s not. Elsagate content is traumatizing to say the least. It’s filled with topics such as pregnancy, needles, bodily waste, and so much gross stuff.
You might be thinking, ‘why is it centered towards kids?’. Well that’s because the sick fucks on the internet make these videos with popular kids characters. At first they were Spider-Man and Elsa from Frozen, now they are characters from games and very few movies/tv shows. Characters from Among Us, Poppy Playtime, Friday Night Funkin’, and more are being shown in these horrible situations. Even Ankha (specifically the ‘dancing’ one) is being used in certain videos!
These ‘kids’ videos are normalizing fetishes. Because of these videos, kids watching could see these topics as normal or nothing new to them. Gore, piss, shit, and even feet are gonna make them happy. These videos are not only traumatizing kids, but they are ruining kids and their childhood.
But most of all, pedophila is big in this content. “How?” You ask. Well here’s two examples.
1: As I said before, the ‘dancing’ Ankha video has been used in such content. So kids would record themselves ‘dancing like Ankha did in the Ankha Zone Animation’. This leads to horny pedophiles.
2: When comments were allowed on kids videos, people would put ‘codes’ in the comments. If you were to search YouTube with those codes, you would find kids twerking videos. Once again, horny pedophiles. Luckily this has been changed since you now cannot comment on kids videos.
This last example is about how children can get scarred by YouTube.
3: If a kid wanted to watch videos of something like Hey Arnold, they could search it up on YouTube. If they put filters on for playlists only, they could find porn gifs in those playlists. Some playlists may be different, but most playlists you can find are filled with porn gifs but they are disguised as a Hey Arnold playlist. Isn’t that fun?
Now what can you do to stop kids from watching stuff like that? Easy! REPORT THE FUCK OUT OF THOSE CHANNELS. If you see one? REPORT. If you have any spare accounts, have them report the channel too!
Also, if you have a younger sibling who just so happens to be a child or a child, have them not watch YouTube. Put on some kids tv instead. Make sure they don’t watch any of that content.
Keep YouTube- and the internet in general- away from children. Only when they can make safe decisions then allow them.
And lastly… Please reblog or warn others!

THINGS YOUR MUSE WILL NOTICE ABOUT MINE
WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE : He's roughly 94 pounds on a 5'4" frame. His bright red hair is often matted and somehow looks dry and greasy at the same time. His skin bears many light-coloured freckles. On most days he's sporting vibrant clothes or band shirts paired with camo pants that have been ripped into shorts or jeans that haven't seen better days since the early 80s. On special occasions, he cleans up well and much prefers dresses and heels to suits.
WHAT THEY SMELL LIKE : Depends on the day. Mostly it's cigarette smoke, the musty scent your fingers carry after shifting through records at the pawn shop (affectionately referred to as Second-Hands), and Aqua Net. He also likes sweet, gourmand perfumes.
WHAT THEY TASTE LIKE : Smoke, Dr. Pepper lip balm, caramel lattes.
WHAT THEY SOUND LIKE : Like a squeaky toy suffering the effects of a pack-a-day smoker's habit. His voice is shrill and raspy. Strong vocal control means if he projects his voice in close proximity to you, it will hurt. And he has an impressive cackle.
WHAT THEY FEEL LIKE : He's comprised of a lot of sharp, bony angles. His hands are calloused from playing guitar and his fret hand has nails that are bitten down to the quick, while his pick hand is still able to scratch deep if needed. He runs slightly warmer and despises the heat.
