I rewatched Past Prologue and still can’t get over how gay it is. How did Rick Berman read “I’m at your disposal”, “interesting new friend” and “enhance my evening” and nothing flagged? Also Bashir’s “this relationship has gotten a little out of hand” was insane. Relationship? After knowing him less than a day? Is the word ‘acquaintance’ not in your vocabulary? Are you kidding me Bashir?

I love ds9 but everyday I die a little bc they didn't gave Cardassians reptilian tails. I need to see Garak slapping ppl with his tail and pushing stuff off the tables like a cat and then act like it was an accident

Garashir but it doesn't work because Julian's in love/lust with the idea that Garak will treat him like an enemy spy and Garak's in love/lust with the idea that Julian will treat him as gently as a patient and neither of them actually want to bring their jobs into bed/a relationship.
Because I love these two but I also enjoy the idea that they could be in love with the other's public persona, but actually that which attracts the other to them is what they want to relinquish in private.

If it’s not too much to ask…could we get a garashir grand babbe roll call
GARASHIR GRAND BABBEES!
NO GENETIC RELATION TO EITHER OF THEM. BUT THEY'RE GARAK-BASHIRS IN THEIR HEARTS!
Lim and his wife have like.. 5 or 6 kids...... on purpose........ there are many family running jokes about it with varying levels of crudeness. They just want a big family... If everyone was like them the planet would regain its prewar population in a few scant generations. Besides, Lim is a stay-at-home dad and house manager, so there's someone to wrangle them all full-time.
Jocasta eventually gets married at the spinsterish age of 30 and has a reasonable amount of children. There's such a dearth of young Cardassian men after the war that nobody thought it was too unusual that she took that long, but still, societal expectations and whatnot. Garak is heartbroken when she moves out (last one to leave the nest.) He visits a lot especially after he retires.
Idk if Idan has kids! Probably eventually. He's a student though, he's got too much to do right now.
But he is a favorite uncle!
Also idk if Iskra and Rulada have kids haha I don't know if they're the 2.5 WPF type... but very funny to imagine their Klingon/Cardassian hybrid. WHAT kind of chaotic mommy energy is Iskra going to bring to this endeavor

I love gilora so much and it's a shame she's a one episode wonder in destiny. 'chief o'brien I would never neg you for being a human! goodness, can you imagine. I'm negging you for being a man in STEM'
she's such a funny window into a side of cardassian culture we haven't been allowed to peek into before this. 'I'm here to do science eat alien food and more importantly eat alien p -- ' *ulani hurriedly claps a hand over her mouth to avoid a diplomatic Incident*

During "In Purgatory's Shadow"
Garak: Like I said, lying is a skill. One that Starfleet sadly neglects to ensure its officers have command of.
Worf: There is rarely any honour in lying
Garak: Well there's a Starfleet and/or Klingon viewpoint if ever I heard one. You know when I think about it, I don't think many of the Starfleet contingent on the station would pass the muster when it comes to lying.
Worf, sighing: We have no need of it
Garak: Nonsense. And I believe that Captain Sisko may prove to be an adept liar if the circumstances demanded it. The same goes for Chief O'Brien - he's quite the pragmatist so he'd at least keep an open mind.
Garak: Then there's you and Dax. Both utterly useless at lying, I mean you won't lie and Jadzia? Well I mean she's incapable of keeping her mouth shut for more than a-
Worf, glaring:
Garak: Anyway…moving on. I think the worst would have to be the good doctor. I mean, as you know, I am rather fond of him, but I don't believe that man would be capable of lying if his life depended on it!
Worf, irritated: If you say so…
After "Doctor Bashir, I Presume"
Garak: I'm not talking to you Julian
Julian: ...Someone told you, didn't they
Garak: Yes
Julian: I'm sorry you had to hear about it from someone else, and I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you about it. But your friendship means a lot to me. Please give us a chance to move past this.
Garak: It's not that simple, my genetically enhanced friend.
Julian: Can I please ask you why?
Garak, upset: You made me look like an ass in front of Worf!
Julian: ???
