Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Text
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21.
Treasures gathered on earth are temporal and futile. Likewise, any heart set on earthly treasures will be destroyed by death; it will suffer eternal torment in the fire of hell. But treasures stored up in the Kingdom of God are everlasting. For they are kept secure by the Most High God. Likewise, any heart set on the things of God, every heart that seeks the righteousness of God and his Kingdom shall receive everlasting life. "For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Galatians 6:8.
However, to be able to store up treasures for ourselves in Heaven, we must repent of our sins and believe in the Son of God, the only Way to the Kingdom of God. “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me", declares the Son of God, the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in John 14:6. “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die.” John 11:25-26.
A question to meditate on: "What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36.

Let Any Who Preaches a Different Gospel be Accursed
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—  which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under Godʼs curse! — Galatians 1:6-8 | The Books of the Bible NT (BOOKS) The Books of the Bible NT Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984, 2011 by Biblica, Inc. ® All rights reserved worldwide. "THAT CONTAINER IS LYING ABOUT ITS CONTENTS"
Matthew 7:15, “Be on your guard against false prophets; they come to you LOOKING LIKE SHEEP on the OUTSIDE, but on the INSIDE they are really like wild WOLVES.” (GNT) My two favorite seasons are Winter and Fall! Winter, because I love Christmas, snow, carols, decorations and the like. And Fall, because I love the colors, Thanksgiving, the start of the scent of fireplaces, but most of all,…

Miracles Still Happen
And, the wait is worth it. Over the multi-years of my life, I have faced insurmountable times of worry, defeat, dealt with problems that couldn’t be solved, health issues that seemed hopeless, and many things that I couldn’t understand. A miracle was needed and sometimes it felt like it was too little, too late, and throwing in the towel was my only recourse. Maybe that’s you today. You…

Sisters, are you really believing God's Word?
Sisters, are you really believing God's Word? Do you take all that the Lord says to you seriously and believe every word of it?
Sisters, are you really believing God’s Word? Do you take all that the Lord says to you seriously and believe every word of it? Do you do so even when it challenges your convictions? We ought to. Galatians 6: 7-8, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the…

Free Grace Salvation
Free grace salvation means we are forgiven, justified, and saved solely by God’s grace, and not by any human effort or merit. All humanity is inherently sinful and unable to earn entrance into heaven. Our good works do not save. They never have and never will. Salvation is entirely a work of God. He offers it to sinful humanity as a gift, given freely and unconditionally to all who believe in…

The Hour Has Come
The Hour Has Come
Jesus knew His purpose. Nothing was going to divert Him from that purpose. He came to give His life a ransom for many (Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45). And timing was everything. The gospel of John makes this perfectly clear. Seven different times we are told that “His time had not yet come” and then in the last 18 hours of His earthly life we read that Jesus knew that “His hour” had come just before…

Sunday September 11th 2022 🕊️ Read Galatians 3 🕊️ Receiving the Spirit by faith 🕊️ Galatians 3: 5 - He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the bearing of faith? 6 - Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7 - Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8 - And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 - So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 🔯💟💟💟🙏 . . . . . . . . . . . . #joelosteen #joelosteenpodcast #tdjakes #tdjakesministries #bible #bibleverse #biblejournaling #biblestudy #gospel #gospelmusic #jesus #church #baptistchurch #lakewoodchurch #morningprayer #dailybible #dailybibleverse  #dailybibleverses #bibleverse  #bibleverses #biblequotes #bibleverseoftheday #christianquotes #bibleversedaily #dailyscripture #dailybible #dailyverse #dailyverses #biblescriptures #biblegram

"If you make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones, for if you wield your tool on it you profane it." Exodus 20:25.
Whenever man modifies what the LORD God has made or overrules God's decree, the result is defilement and depravity, which produces death.
Sex reassignment surgery, same-sex union, every unnatural or unlawful sexual relation is a blatant insult against God, the holy Designer and Maker of the human body. Such things defile man - "Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.“ 1 Corinthians 6:18.
He who defiles himself cannot see God. Galatians 5:19-21 reads, “ Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
Revelation 21:8, “ But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Distorting the Gospel
6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ for a different gospel, 7 which is really not another, only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to the gospel we have proclaimed to you, let him be accursed! — Galatians 1:6-8 | Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) Legacy Standard Bible Copyright ©2021 by The Lockman Foundation. "CONFRONTING THE ENEMY'S TACTICS!"
Psalm 144:1, “Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight” (AMPC) The main tactic of the enemy is deception. “Deception” is defined as, “the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid; to trick; to cheat; to defraud; to be dishonest.” And that’s exactly who the enemy is, a deceiver, liar and the…
