Ok I just finished the prologue for Ikemen prince and now I’m telling what I think of each character so far.
Leo: He’s cool. I have no grudge against him. But I don’t like his name.
Chevalier: I don’t like him. Seems like a bitch.
Yves: I get that he’s a prince but he needs a manner lesson
Nokto: he’s ok, I think. So far at least
Licht: I relate to him.
Clavis: So far I like him, he’s just vibing
Jin: no comment, just give me one of your lollipops
Luke: I love him already, 10/10
Sariel: keep this man as far away from me as possible
Rio: didn’t like him at first, then he gave me food, but then I went back to not liking him

leon...i didn't think much of him. pretty unremarkable honestly. though i did appreciate how he was like "nah dont be formal with me" that was very nice C: it was pretty obvious he was a prince sigh
chevalier...honestly i dont like him either and he scares me but i have a feeling his route explains a lot. am i going to play through it? no. he's scary!!
YVES :(( okay hes such a bitch and i mean that so affectionately because it literally only takes him four chapters to show his sweeter side. he brought mc CAKE. gahhh hes already making me want to squish him.
nokto is making me so uncomfortable. i do not like people touching me and he's doing that TOO MUCH. its the same ick that arthur gave me EXCEPT nokto's is WORSE. i don't know how to explain it. maybe it's because arthur has shown he genuinely cares about mc and isaac in ikevamp but Man. nokto freaks me out.

My Favorite Ship Dynamics

Affectionate/Neglected
i will never stop loving when a character who went through so much tragedy finally gets some relief and love
Even with just casual touches or hugs or cuddling, it's just mwah like they've never had someone be so kind to them and it's overwhelming
The affectionate one being so fully aware that the other did not get a lot of love and wanting to take care of them like they deserve, letting them know that they deserve this level of treatment
Introducing the neglected one to actual healthy friendships or relationships like PLEASE raise their standards
ok but if this is a friends to lovers sitch I can imagine the neglected one being shy and afraid of rejection while the affectionate one is trying not to read too much into their interactions and their fuzzy feelings and feeling almost as if they'd be taking advantage you know?
Shy/Flirty
Very similar to the previous one but I meannnnnn I really love when a character is shocked when someone actually flirts with them
They fluster so easily because they're not used to anyone being so forward and they're constantly panicking like "is this real??? I thought people would be more subtle???"
Flirty one just likes seeing them blush, they think it's cute
Flirty one also thinks it's funny to see how red they can make the shy one (they will spew absolute filth in the shy one's ear)
But even with all the laughs and teasing and joking, the flirty one is very much in love. They're just not showing how soft they are. How much they love surprising the shy one by hugging them from behind and kissing their hand.
The shy one literally thinking that it's all a joke and a bullying tactic to make fun of them and get a rise out of them. Actually feeling really hurt when they realize they've caught feelings and beating themselves up for it. Laughing and crying in a kind of broken way when the flirty one confesses. Asking if the flirty one is done toying with them yet AHHHH
Devotee/Insecure
You notice that mayhaps I like traumatized characters yeah so what they're such cutie patooties I need them to have a happy ending. Like- I need someone who is deeply insecure about everything, thinking that they are not worth anything and being reassured that hello??? Yes you are???
It is the tears when they are spoken to softly, with a gentle voice and heads bowed together as they are told that they are more than enough. That they are not unforgivable or screw ups or whatever else
The devotee treating their partner like royalty, taking their arm in theirs, opening doors, driving them around. Gently massaging their legs and back, putting on their shoes for them, cooking meals, practically waiting on them hand and foot
It's the way that the devotee would drop to their knees and kiss their lover's shoe if they just *asked*
And it is the insecure one not wanting or believing such devotion. It is them trying to pull away, expressing their doubts and turning down every compliment. It is them pointing out every flaw and thinking themselves lazy if they do nothing
The insecure one always feel guilty for letting their lover do anything for them, for feeling like such a burden. Something their lover has to consistently tell them that they are not.
It is the constant fear that maybe their lover will find someone more worthy.
And it is their lover fiercely declaring their love, it is the two of them fighting to establish trust together, trying to balance the other out, and it is the two of them settling down in a chair, the devotee a little less intense when whispering praises about things their lover did while the insecure one accepts it and starts to reciprocate and believe that maybe this could be permanent.
Rockstar/Pop Princess
dododod the pop princess bit can just be any gender as long as they're obsessed with pop. ANYWAYS
Playfully fighting over the aux will never not be funny to me
Even if their music tastes are different, they've listened to the other's songs so often that they pick up on the lyrics and even sing along sometimes
The merciless teasing from both of their friends on how the rockstar is going "soft" and how the pop one is "into bad boys now?" Just a lil good natured nothing serious
Disapproving parents and late nights and sneaking out, but also the pop one getting into and pulling their partner out of a bad situation (fighting for them or simply being their ride after a party gone bad)
The "they're too good for me" insecurity and the "they're nothing like me" insecurity because there is the fear that you're not as put together and they deserve so much better. And also the fear that they do so much more than me and take so many risks and the fear of being seen as this one dimensional goody two shoes that is the enemy.
It'd be funny if they ever did an outfit swap. Funny and adorable. This is more of like a visual thing but it's still a fun idea
Both of them making mixtapes or playlists for the other and aghfjjdjd it's just so sappy and they have to listen to each song to make sure it's perfect while also taking into account heir different tastes in music.

the frustrating thing about stancy in s4 is that all of Steve and nancy’s interactions with other characters became ‘let’s get these two characters (one of whom is in a relationship) to admit their feelings for each other’
like one of the few times Steve and dustin are alone together they talk about how Steve basically ‘threw himself’ at Nancy when she wanted to go off on her own. what nothing about how none of them should be alone with a supernatural serial killer on the loose? that could have been an opportunity for like Steve to like ask about Lucas about where he is since he’s not with his best friends during a crisis and That could have been an opportunity for dustin to voice some of his resentment/bitterness towards Lucas for ‘abandoning’ his friends for the basketball team
the scene with robin and Nancy where robin was like ‘maybe some flames should never have been snuffed out’ and they confirmed that they are now friends Could have been something about Nancy struggling to make real friends after losing barb. literally doesn’t have to be much it could be something like ‘it’s nice to make a friend - I feel like all I do is lose them’ referencing both the fact that barb and Fred have been killed on her watch and maybe That could have led to robin asking like ‘hey why did we never try to hang out earlier?’ (bc it’s literally 8 months later, they’re in the same year, and they Never talked? wild to me. el and max were hanging out between s2 and s3 even if they hadn’t become besties just yet) anyway and maybe then we could have had a little more into Nancy and her whole thing with losing people. idk.
just also the fact that Eddie interrupts Steve saying ‘hey give yourself a break’ to talk about ‘twue wuv’ like girl you dont know them anyway but we literally Could have had something about how Steve literally did run away at first but the important thing is that he came back. I understand that this is a plot driven show there isn’t a lot of time to have all these fun talks and I knowww the whole thing is that characters are avoiding what they actually want or need to talk about but gahhh it’s frustrating!! (also the ‘you almost deserved getting shot’ thing did make me physically gag like girl That’s how you flirt? okay)
anyway I also like to imagine that Steve and robin have sort of talked about how his relationship with Nancy kinda failed, bc robin definitely knows that there’s something still there between them like maybe she figured out that Steve still had feelings for her (still maintain that my boy was lying when he said he was over her in the star court bathroom) and Steve was like ‘robin stop that’s a non starter she’s not interested she’s dating someone’ and robin was like ‘okay okay if she’s happy with Jonathan..’ but then she gets basically like confirmation that Nancy isn’t 100% happy with Jonathan and then she’s like..oh I see a solution.
anyway I also definitely believe that Steve doesn’t know quite how much the overlap between the stancy and jancy relationship was..like he was definitely aware that there was Something between them but does he know that they fully had sex? yeah probably not. they obviously don’t speak in between world ending events and that’s not something that just comes up. im kind of thinking that maybe murray will be the one to bring that up bc I really can't see either Jonathan or Nancy doing so. maybe it’s something that we’re not supposed to care about but damn it man im a bit more sensitive about cheating than other things

Timor's named after the sea near Australia!! Mostly because Linsey's a pirate and such lmao
He can talk!! Most dragons in their story can talk, unless they're wild or just. Don't want to I guess. Timor mostly just complains and asks a LOT of questions though lmfao
Linsey PROBABLY bought his hat but it's just as likely that he stole it from someone
It's set in the 1720's (ish)! So basically just the "Golden Age" of piracy but with added dragon lore!! A lot of the lore is inspired by the Temeraire series (by Naomi Novik), which is VERY cool btw, so there are loads of other dragon species (I made a spreadsheet of them lmao), most of which are trained and used in the military alongside boats and horses n such!!
There are quite a few other characters!! To start off it's just Linsey and his crew, and then later he's sort of forced/coerced into joining the aforementioned dragon military fleet, so there's another little crew later on too, but I haven't really gotten around to properly fleshing out their characters yet. It's more just vibes :)
Timor himself can't breath fire or anything!! He doesn't have any abilities in that sense, but he does have adaptations like a real life animal would, so in his case he's one of the faster dragons and is pretty agile (he's very proud of this)
FAVOURITE FACT!!!! Uhhh I don't have very many good ones since I've only recently started writing their story!! BUT a fun thing I can share is that Linsey has ZERO idea how dragons work, so he spends a good chunk of his first few months with Timor being incredibly confused and very very concerned, meanwhile Timor is entirely oblivious and mostly just wants to eat fish and break things.
Overall they're very very silly and a little bit stupid and I love them a LOT so thank you SO much for letting me talk my nonesense for a bit

Okay but I'm just saying we, Ninjago fans, NEED TO ACKNOWLEDGE Pixal and Lloyd's friendship more. They are my stupid little blorbos and I am so mad that there was barely any actual content in canon on their friendship other than the odd few moments between them (the start of season 8, for example when Lloyd jokes about kissing Pixal and pixal just laughs it off and jokes back ab Zane not liking that).
In all honesty, I'm just so glad that we got them hugging in crystalized, like HUGE win for me because I've loved the idea of them being close for months now, if you think about it they're both (technically, because people will argue that Pixal's a robot and age doesn't matter) the youngest members of the ninja team (term used very lightly).
I think they would've had a LOT of stupid friend interaction during that year we didn't get to see between seasons 7 and 8, mostly because from what we could tell, Lloyd only really had communication with Pixal for most of that year, and we can TELL because of how they joke around at the start of season 8, what is SO ANNOYING TO ME however there is no obvious reaction of Lloyd finding out Pixal had a physical body again, butttt that leaves room for fun headcanons, so I don't really mind.
I do like being left room for headcanons, but these holes in their relationship are huge and it sucks because I do, like everyone else who enjoys a piece of media, want some things to be actually canon, and have actual on-screen interaction more than just a joke or two at the start of a season, or a single split second hug.
And, tbh, I do wish there was more fan content of the two as well, I feel like Pixal's almost always overlooked when she's an important character. I have seen some cute fanart of the two, and somewhere there's a really nice fanfic of them being friends (I've unfortunately lost the link, but if you know what fic I'm referring to PLEASEEE message me the link or reblog this post with the link).

becky genuinely i cannot think of ANYTHING for this. everything else came to me easily but i've been sitting here trying to think...i'll take another minute or so,,, i'm thinking vampires? pen manufacturing? a deal?? tnt duo??? IDK!!! aha i listened to a song called ink and blood so ig a horror setting could fit!..nah i'll stick to tnt vamps
quackity is a borrower, wilbur is a vampire. when quackity comes in contact with said vampire due to wilbur's enhanced senses, he realizes that wilbur is scared. quackity is too, which puts them in an untrustworthy position of "who is lying" despite both of their "shows" being completely real. (legit just wrote tommy there. that is my fifth time using tommy as a filler word today) quackity comes forward one day and requests that wilbur leaves him alone, or quackity will tell his colony of this find. (which is a total lie, quackity's been a loner for half of his life). wilbur states that while quackity wants comfort in writing, wilbur wants comfort in blood, as in, turning quackity. the man is hesitant at first, but he really isn't spiritual enough to embrace death just yet.
so quackity, having had read a few books in his lifetime, especially horror ones that he'd stolen from a human he used to live with, agreed. and wilbur, stupid as it was, wrote in words that he wouldn't do anything to quackity, despite being his soon-to-be-sire (GAHHH i'm so happy with this and i love it- esp quackity wanting it in writing and him being a lawyer- yk- HDFSHA)
a feather quill with a tale of old (holy SHIT i love that)
archeologists recently discovered the ruins of an old, small camp. the only thing about it, is, it's massive. there's towering stone walls with ropes of ivy and overgrown plants surrounding the entirety of the old place. phil, in charge of the plan to uncover the giant civilization, immediately sets off to work with his large group. they work for days, starting only with the jungle of ferns and growth. tubbo, the youngest of their party, slips off and starts investigating on his own. he'd always had a weird kind of deja vu that was in the back of his mind, flaring up whenever he did something like write in a book or watch a paranormal show. but it flared up bad here, it felt familiar.
tubbo wanders into an old tent where only the foundation stands and sees a book buried under a pile of sediment. some trouble later, he unearths a chest filled with dirt, a feather sticking upright out of it like a plant, and a book settled in between it. the voice in his head grows loud and his gut churns, it's so familiar. on the cover, it reads: dreamons. (i like tubbo and fundy and sapnap's little dreamon adventures, okay? also this rlly isn't g/t....sorry)
also just bc this is short, maybe tubbo sneaks away from camp and visits this place. maybe a dreamon comes for him, or he finds the remains of fundy, sapnap, or even himself. or.....something entirely different >:) i could totally write this...

usually, when a human finds a borrower, they capture it and put it to work. sometimes they're cruel, sometimes they're on the nicer end of the spectrum while still enforcing rules. they'll make them do work, like basic chores.
tommy had a big ego. he thought highly of himself, so when he was caught by a human, he was startled to hear that dream didn't want anything from him. not a single job was worth tommy. tommy took offence to that, and continued popping up at random times to pester him about the offer, any every time dream declined. tommy was clouded by the thoughts of why he wasn't able to. maybe he was too small, he had been unusually small compared to some other borrowers he'd met....but that doesn't mean he was any less capable.
tommy started trying to help dream. setting dream's alarm when he was too tired to, rolling lost items out from under furniture, anything. until, of course, dream would call him out on it. tommy, in the end, was always left wondering why dream did not want him. (not rlly angst...more just miscommunication involving traditions lol but i like this!! also primeboys my beloved <3)
all in all, i have you
(this just yells shrinking but i gotta figure out how to make it not a typical shrinking story... boom okay got it!) tubbo had always enjoyed tinkering with things. his attic is filled with junk he'd acquired while sneaking into junkyards and walking in the dangerous part of town. so, naturally, it didn't startle him that he'd actually perfected a shrink ray. he'd tried it on a duck lamp he had, and it worked perfectly. it was no more than a few inches when he'd hit it with the ray.
his next test subject would be their son, a little boy ranboo and him decided to adopt when they hit eighteen. it was a little nerve-wracking, sure, and for a second it thought he may have...died...but all in all, it worked!
ranboo didn't exactly know about this. when they asked where micheal went, tubbo lied and said that the boy had went to spend the weekend with jack (who was also in on it, and in on the shrink ray). he practiced on everything. and it helped with his inventions, like too-big pieces of metal that he needed to be smaller. he added settings to it to adjust things. it was amazing. tubbo, foolish as it would be to admit, felt like a mad scientist. ("i have you" refers to the shrink ray...cause yk...mad scientist...OKAY IT WAS SOMETHING I CAME UP WITH TO SWAY AROUND HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS LMAO)

(ooh do i chose drop like liquid or drop like height....) for class, wilbur needed to do one of two things: find a subject, and test his concoction. his school focused on magic while including the other basic things. but mainly magic. he had magic blood from his mother, but he's the only one who did, seeing as both tommy and techno were adopted. wilbur's subject was tommy, in the end. he was the only one home at the time, otherwise it would've been techno, because he's much more enjoyable to work with (sometimes...)
he'd tried to make a shrink potion and was testing to see if it worked. the instructions for his assignment was to use just one drop from a pipette, but somehow wilbur managed to fuck that up. mainly because tommy was complaining and he squeezed just a bit too hard. which would've been okay. but he panicked and ended up spilling the vial onto his brother. his potion had worked, so he'd get a good grade...but he had to hide his three-inch-brother from his other brother and father. and...they don't exactly know that the school he goes to deals in magic. the "real" classes were more of a ruse. the magic his mother told him he had was whispered to him only a few weeks before she left, as far as phil knows, wilbur was normal.

there are so many good characters and i feel like i’ve fallen in love with all of them if that’s possible but tabitha tate holds a special place in my heart for the rest of time. call me jughead jones because i love her soooo much i can’t believe she doesn’t get a happy ending she deserves so much more (jughead is a close second tho. my blog name is godheadjones for a reason. who would i be if i abandoned my jughead roots?)
3. Which season is your favorite, and which plot of that season do you like most?
very controversial but i love season 6 the most. i think while i was watching this season i finally allowed myself to fall in love with the show as much as i did instead of just being another viewer who was “just watching for the mystery.” it delivered some of the craziest plot lines for the show, introduced superpowers and alternate universes (because why the hell not) and percy pickens, my fav villain from the show and i really just had a fun time watching the season in general. i also haven���t done a proper rewatch of the whole show in forever and don’t remember much from the earlier seasons so that factors into it slightly because i barely remember anything and need a refresher before i make an official ranking, but season 6 is high up for me nonetheless. fav plotline is EASILY everything to do with vale. like that was so fun and when i started devoting my blog to riverdale because they killed archie like that was crazy that was wild i want to go back to rivervale again at least once but i know it’ll never happen
12. If you read fanfiction, recommend a fic you love.

asking this when the show is riverdale is so evil there are way too many gems to be able to pick one. off the top of my head “get the ball, or balls, rolling,” “did you have a lobotomy for breakfast?” any line in season 7 with their silly little words, “gobbledygook,” “well shucks to that,” get shout outs btw because they are hilarious (on that note, julian pronouncing it as high-larious) and “a, it’s not queerbaiting, it’s saving the world”

OH MAN I JUST HAVE THE SOFTEST SPOT FOR SESAME STREET/JIM HENSON MEDIA THERES SO MANY THOUGHTS!!!!!
Though I desire to watch more Sesame Street one day (once I find any time and energy AHHHHH), I just love characters like Big Bird, Snuffy (yes I'm a Snuffy kin lol), and Elmo (my bro LOVED Elmo when he was really little hehe)
I really miss the VHS tapes that we used to have of Elmo's World and Sesame Street, I remember it being a part of teaching to like fruits and veggies (esp fruits yummy) from a very young age, I thank Grover for that one! Also loved that Spaghetti with Meat Balls song they did there too!
Oh and PLEASE PLEASE go watch Elmo in Grouchland and Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird!! They are absolute underrated classics (esp Elmo in Grouchland since even my parents still love that movie and it's music)!
(also side note: does anyone remember a Christmas Special of some kind where Big Bird was in the middle of a storm at night for some reason (I think it was because he got mad and stormed off from a Christmas Party) and one of the human adults was trying to convince him to go inside? God that shit was sad from what I remember)

Episode 1.3 The Unquiet Dead
so I actually used to be kinda neutral on this episode. not my least favorite but not one of my favorites
WILL THAT CHANGE? Stay tuned.
not gonna lie, the opening is genuinely creepy.
seeing this opening, the BETTER ONE, after seeing the one for series 7 so many times is kinda a trip
LITTLE DETAIL! The way that Nine is talking to Rose in the opening while the TARDIS is in flight sounds very...insisting. Like FUTURE WAS BUST, LETS GO TO THE PAST NOW SINCE I PROMISED YOU A TIME MACHINE. Almost like he's kicking himself for where he took her first, so now they need to go somewhere better. I never noticed that!
And the fact that he chose Christmas as the time to bring her. Something safe and nice. He was really trying. 🥺

Also another detail? More than likely when Rose was talking about the undertaker hands "having a quick wander", that was probably Gwyneth. (since she grabbed Rose's legs to put her in the herse.) Complete accident.

He's honestly being so understanding with Charles! Like "You're not stupid for not believing, there's just more to the world than you don't know about."
There's she goes. Rose "what are your pronouns and would you like to join a union" Tyler.
Another detail. Gwyneth mentions that Rose has been thinking about her father alot. "More than ever." Rose is now a time traveler. This means that Father's Day was not a spur of the moment thing. She'd been thinking it over for awhile, maybe even working up the courage to ask the Doctor if she could go back. That's...alot.

What's your favorite thing about each main game participant in ytd?
ohhh this is a lot x] let's see... i'm assuming you mean the main twelve humans we know? technically, kazumi isn't in the main game but... he's still dear to me so i'm throwing him on here ghsmgsgs
sara - i actually really admire her personality, in general. not only because it makes actually playing through the game a lot more entertaining & emotionally connecting, but just. i really like seeing characters who balance out that weird humor with actual responsibility. even though i don't think she should've had to take on as much responsibility as she has now, esp with keiji having the chance to step in, i really appreciate seeing her persist, not just for herself, but the group as a whole. she's just... such a fun & sympathetic character (for the player) i think. a great choice for a protagonist and still a character i'd appreciate if we weren't playing as her.
jou - ohhh man. again, a personality thing, but his social intuition is very important to the game and is the main reason why sara was able to connect with the rest after his death at all. this is mainly mentioned because of jeremy (@/fantasticvoyage), but especially in the main game where he weighs their choice on whether or not they'd take the "safe" vote (selfishness) or if they'd let him live if he asked them to, just to see whether or not they were awful people anyway who would've killed a kid for their own skin... he's just such a smart guy and i appreciate how. set he is in a lot of what he does and how intensely he cares about people (even nao, someone he just met, who lost her mentor figure - though there he did go about it in the wrong way... but he couldn't have known)
keiji - definitely brings a lot of interesting topics into the game :0 i'm usually interested in the whole hades incident (which jou's father / mr. p was supposedly looking into, before he was killed...) or the little theoreticals he entertains (particularly with mishima's head or miley's involvement... it's interesting!) or asunaro's influence on the outside world in general !
kanna - gahhh she's so sweet ;_; she grew so much throughout the game... arguably, she and nao have similar character arcs (with nao more focused on moving on to open up to her allies here; and kanna coming to terms with the people she cannot leave behind, lives she carries with her to push her to act... because she is still alive. in sara's favor for her sister (& to keep the intended murder from haunting sou), or to offer herself up as the one to study sou, knowing that she influenced the main game to kill kai, so she at least wants to take on this responsibility and find the information that she wanted sou alive for. and so on...) she's a smart kid too... just. cares deeply about other people. i want to hug her so much.
q-taro - this is silly but it was actually a bit comforting seeing a guy who may not ethnically be japanese, but was still treated with decency instead of being singled out, even if his dialect was a bit strange at first for people to process. i just like mixed characters, and esp w his backstory, it's fun... but personality-wise it is. relieving? in a way, to see him be so blunt about what he thinks of the whole situation, and go as far as to offer himself up in the first main game if it has to come to it (though he definitely doesn't have intentions to let himself die...) & then of course for his first trade in the second chapter where he outright says he's planning on getting an escape ticket (with best intentions at the time...) and doesn't mind if sara denies him this, bc she's got a right to be wary... he's a reasonable guy!
tsukimi - SIGHS yeah okay i'm not immune to liking sou on an objective level... he's a very interesting character, and i really love what nankidai did with him... it's the first time i cared for a character like him, really. there are some things he did that were just. uncalled for (like purposefully triggering sara's recent trauma), but i do like how nankidai wrote out tsukimi's genuine desperation & had his first trial literally be physiological, to set him against sara from the start... the story could've so easily been from sou's pov and still made as much sense with what info you were given.
reko - ough. she cares so much about everyone ;_; i do appreciate that she was shown to not always be such a... compassionate person? but that she, like kazumi, made that choice to begin to open up rather than stew in it... and she's still got those complicated feelings toward the inciting incident that made her change her tune - with alice... people do say that reko may have accepted the bongos, but i personally think even if she was there that she would've had to take a few to actually regain herself before denying or accepting it. she wouldn't break it, but it'd still be such a sore spot and i love how she's written around that topic, the reasonable fear and denial mixed in with the doll reko's shown resentment... gah. part of that being born from her compassion, even if at the time she was much more hesitant to accept that as the reason (openly). also she's pretty, and i love her dearly.
nao - her arc... mentioned this briefly in kanna;s point, but getting to see nao grow and show her actual potential, making the choice on her own to step away from the professor's ai so she could stand on her own, just. it breaks me every time. in the first chapter, i felt bad for her, sure, but the second chapter really solidly secures her as an amazing character to me. one of my favorites in most media i've gone through... she acknowledges that she's not as much of a 'leader' type of person as sara is, but still wants to support [yabusame] in the wake of ch2-1 because she knows she's able to help here, at least, and it's one less thing for sara to worry about. seeing the two truly connect after sara actually loses someone (and isn't just trying to comfort nao, like she did on floor one) and work through that grief is just so. sweet. i can't really put all my thoughts here concisely, but she really shines in ch2. i love her.
kai - looks at my entire blog. he's a fucked up guy! i love... everything about him ahgmsgs the introduction to what asunaro can be, its decisiveness in its ideology, even once disconnected from the death game... his tragedy, his little humor, the absolute autism... i mostly got attached to him for what he brought into the story, but he is a charming character in his own right.
gin - little catboy... i don't really think about gin as much as i do the others, but he is very sweet. little sassy kid. deserves the world.
alice - points. the transgenderism. ahgmgsgs no but really, i think he's just. a really funny guy? similar to kai, he's got a charming personality - though it doesn't show at first. i began to open up during the first main game when he stood up for reko, but i quickly became fond of him as soon as the second chapter rolled around and we actually get to see him be a bit more vulnerable with the group, esp with reko... it's not like he's necessarily hiding that he cares so much, but he's just very. hesitant about it. because he knows how much he hurt reko, and the 'family' of the person he killed. so he goes out of the way for her comfort and it's just ;_; he really is such an older sibling... i've got a lot of thoughts but... cannot talk about alice at length right now x] but the tl;dr is that siblings (esp those w complicated relationships) will always, always get to me.
kazumi - already mentioned this in reko's, but it's definitely the proof that he's made an active change to improve upon himself. we do see hints of who he used to be, with his ai being manipulated for it, but... knowing who he really chooses to be, is just very... inspiring? in a way? he is like... actual proof that just bc you grow up, or something goes wrong, that it doesn't mean that your life is irrevocably fucked up. you always have a chance to change. and that's a message that i think a lot of people need. i love him a lot... and i also think he'd give great hugs.

Quick thoughts on EP8.
Kinn and Porsche has entered the honeymoon phase! Yay! But since it’s Kinn and Porsche, things are bound to happen to put a dent on or even burst their happy bubble. In this case, a certain someone everyone thought to be deceased. The episode flew by quickly (honestly it felt too short the ep was not even 50mins 😔).
Here are the things I love about KinnPorsche EP8:
• The opening scene - so after the event of the previous ep, Kinn and Porsche finally made and did it inside a bedroom. Seeing them waking up in good spirits, in each other’s arms (exchanging morning breaths 🤭) and having a morning cuddle and kiss is so wholesome (okay maybe not because you know IT IS Kinn and Porsche we’re talking about) and endearing. I love how Kinn suggests to announce their relationship with that cheeky smile on his face (and I was not surprised Porsche was the one holding back).
• Porsche seeking love advice - okay it may not be his original intention but he ended up getting one. He is so overwhelmed by happiness and love that he wants to share it with someone other than Kinn of course and that person is Yok. Yok is probably the closest adult/parent figure Porsche has in his life (the uncle does not really count) who he can lean on when things get a little too much. I love their friendship and I love how Porsche can open up to Yok without feeling he would be judged.
• Their date - for a first date, Porsche did an awesome job. Though he was not able to execute all of the things he planned, their first official date was a success. Their happiness is reflected on their faces and their smiles are so bright it was blinding. Mile and Apo once again delivered with the feels because I believed and felt every emotions. The snapping of photos, the hand holding, the stolen kisses, that almost smooch and of course the underwater kiss, were perfect (I know stan twitter is expecting a different kind of pool scene but hey the one we have in EP8 is great as well). I just can’t with these two gahhh!
• Tankhun and the squad - it was one sequence but I really love seeing Tankhun, Arm, Pol, Pete and Porsche together. It’s always fun with them even if they were just hanging out doing a mundane activity like watching a horror movie. Tankhun is over the top, as always, for having his bodyguards wore those make up, all for one, one for all is his mantra hahaha.
• Kinn and Porsche having a conversation - This one is the highlight of the episode for me. They are communicating and words are spoken. They compliment and tease each other. They say I miss you. Yes, TO.EACH.OTHER. Kinn opens up a bit about Tawan and Porsche is able to ask what’s on his mind. He made Kinn say he is over his ex and that the picture he kept was just one of those things - nothing important. I just hope they continue being this way.
Uhm but that preview is not looking so good because Tawan is obviously up to something, darn. Tawan’s timing is so suspicious. Just as Kinn and Porsche are basking in the bliss of their upgraded status, here comes the ex trying to ruin it.
P.S. Kinn is surprised to see Tawan in the flesh. Could it be that he truly believed Tawan actually died when he shot him? Or perhaps he was so distraught by the betrayal he thought he killed him but in truth he just wounded him and somebody powerful (Khun Korn?) wanted to spare him of more pain he was told Tawan is deceased? Or maybe the major family is led to believe his past flame is dead and those who informed (minor family) them are the ones using Tawan now to shake Kinn’s resolve and destroy his new-found happiness? Ahh, I don’t know what to think anymore. Now I really want to know what truly transpired in that moment when Kinn shot Tawan and who were actually there when it happened.

Old Art: Inktober 2022, part 1
I have participated in Inktober since 2019, on Twitter up until now. To breathe some life into my blog here, I'll post my work from past years over the next few days, along with my thoughts and explanations where relevant, using the more long-form format of tumblr to its advantage. Please mind this small content warning before you continue reading: Some of what I drew for this quite odd and creepy, and in at least one case (day 14), arguably gory. Keep this in mind as you read and view the art.
Day 1: Gargoyle
This one was fun. I did a poor job of making it actually look like it was perched on the wall and the wall itself was a pain, ultimately resulting in something kind of halfassed and iffy looking, but still, I had fun with it, and I think the gaping red maw looks pretty decent, all things considered. I used a grey ink--if I recall, it was Noodler's Lexington Gray--for this one, though only sparingly.
Day 2: Scurry
Some of the anatomy is screwy here, in particular the catgirl's hands are all kinds of gnarly in ways I didn't intend. Ink is unforgiving. These aren't really meant to be any characters in particular, but I was probably influenced a little by Nazrin from Touhou Project and undeniably heavily inspired by Maekawa Miku from The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls. You might immediately notice two things about this image: firstly that it is clearly more true to the color of the paper and secondly that the left edge curves away, gets blurry, and has a bit of a shadow. Day 1's drawing was simply captured by my phone camera, but I used my scanner for this one. That took time to set up (I have a bad habit of putting things on top of the machine and I have to reposition the whole thing because the USB-B cable I have is too short), so I didn't always use it. There's another scanner now, though, which I can use much more easily.
Day 3: Bat
GAHHH why did I go right back to the phone camera? Oh well. The anatomy here is really poor especially around the legs, but I tried to be a little more dynamic with the pose than I usually would be. Evidently, I didn't properly plan this from the beginning, since the torso is on a somewhat different perspective plane than it should be. Oh well, not everything works out as you'd want it.
Day 4: Scallop
I love drawing spooky little creatures. Here, we see a sea scallop, but with spindly arms and legs. This is only slightly more monstrous than what live sea scallops actually look like. Did you know they have like 200 eyes, all lined up in a row along the edge of the "mouth"? Crazy. There's also a moray eel in entirely imaginary colors here. It seems about as freaked out by the scallop creature as is appropriate.
Day 5: Flame
Dragon girl! I should really put this under the scanner someday. Overall I mostly like how this turned out, though I clearly had no clue what to do with the breasts. Probably should have grabbed some references.
Day 6: Bouquet
This time, the gnarly fingers were absolutely intentional. Here we see an elder vampire or something, perhaps some other kind of aged fantasy man, enjoying several flowers. I think they were based upon a couple specific real flowers, but I can't quite recall exactly what they were.
Day 7: Trip
This is one I'm really glad I went through the trouble to use the scanner for. There are certainly things that could have been improved, but overall, I'm still quite proud of this one. Two girls on a road trip in an Autobianchi Bianchina, stopped on the side of the road for... I dunno, looking at the scenery, I guess. I don't know if that car was ever sold in this color, but it's what color I'd want one in.
Day 8: Match
Matching outfit elves. The anatomy and basic geometry of this one was completely unsalvageable by the time I realized what was going on. Alas, at least it was properly scanned.
Day 9: Nest
Sometimes you go into a drawing with an image in your head that's too complex to hold for long and when you zoom in in your mind to look at the details, you lose it. Ultimately, though, when I look at it now, that worked out better than if I had faithfully rendered every piece of trash in the garbage heap that this giant, mechanical bird-thing has built. Seriously, this looks way better than I remember it looking. I also used the grey ink here again, I think to much better effect than with the gargoyle.
Day 10: Crabby
Crabby child, crab hat, "Feelin' Crabulous!" shirts. Not much more to say other than wow that mom character looks weird. I think I did a pretty decent job of depicting a child in the middle of a tantrum over god-knows-what here.
Day 11: Eagle
A man and his concerningly large eagle. If I recall, this was meant to depict a Haast's eagle, an extinct species from what is now New Zealand. Or at the very least it was mostly inspired by that. In other words, it's completely nonsensical for a man in a heavy coat, fur hat, and snow goggles to have one as his companion, but somehow it just felt right. I used a bunch of different colors of brown micron and even fountain pen ink for this, and I think the effect turned out well.
Day 12: Forget
Creepy creatures what take your brain out and make you forget things. The head being comically outsized compared to the rest of the body was actually intentional here--I felt the strange proportions would further bring focus to the point of the action and also just make the whole scene feel even weirder.
Day 13: Kind
More weirdo creatures. I thought it'd be fun to depict kindness between alien things rather than more easily relatable humans or animals. This color palette also happens to be enjoyable to me. This is another one featuring some fountain pen inks, but I can't recall what they were.
Day 14: Empty
Yeah, this one is pretty gross and freaky. Sorry about that. But hey, that was the idea. Mission accomplished, right? If I remember correctly, this one included Diamine Oxblood ink, to get that fleshy cavern look.
Day 15: Armadillo
Yep, it's Tarkus. As in, the album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. I guess you could consider this a gijinka? The nameplate thing bearing the day number and prompt is based on the colors of the ground in the album art.
