every time i think about how messed up the vampire bonds/families are i go a little insane. louis and claudia are siblings because lestats their father but lestats also louis husband so claudia’s louis child too but then gabrielle’s lestat’s actual mother and also his daughter so that means louis is gabrielle’s son in law and also her brother and all the children are psychically linked so when lestat’s railing his husband/son louis, his sister/daughter and mother/daughter can hear it all if louis doesnt put up a block which he sometimes canonically doesnt per ep 6. riveting television is back!

What's the RO's and Gabby's opinions on soulmates? Do the believe in them?
Kade/Kara: Absolutely. They believe in soulmates, whether it be platonic or romantic, and think that there are special people for everyone in the world. It doesn’t have to just be a lover, or anything similar, but someone that is just supposed to be in your life. Sent by fate itself.
Michael/Margot: The thought of soulmates is a comforting one to them, but it’s not something they’ve ever 100% believed in. Not something they put that much stock into. They didn’t, that is, until they met you.
Blaine/Blaire: Surprisingly enough, they don’t really put that much effort into thinking about it. They think the idea of soulmates is nice, and they’d love to meet someone that made them think they found the other half of their soul, but it’s not something they truly believe either.
Wren/Wynn: Not really. The thought of having a soulmate, of discovering the other half to your soul, is a painful one to have so they just don’t have it. It’s better to not believe in something then be destroyed by the truth of what believing in it does.
Nicholas/Natalie: They like the idea of them. Like the idea of having someone that’s meant just for them, and they believe that they found something like that with M, but it’s not something they loiter on. They don’t want to think about fate, or about destiny, because that’ll lead them down a rabbit hole.
Gabriel/Gabriella: They believe in the capacity for it. That there are people that are meant to be in someone’s life, whether it’s for forever or not, and Gabby sees that as being temporary soulmates— you were there to help guide another, to help mend a broken piece of their soul, before you continued on your own journey; or you found something worth staying for. Gabby believes that you can have multiple soulmates, that it’s not a one and done kind of thing, but that they come in layers; some will just be higher than others.
