Yes, there will definitely be more of the Moonwood series. It's all plotted out and it's a shortfic, I've just been over extended with my other WIP and a Big Bang to finish. Ideally I'll be able to start finishing that in February after I've wrapped up the BB.

As for the Mafia Au idea, I really like this one. It's a bit of a dark romance which is guilty pleasure of mine.

In it Billy is a jaded cop in Chicago. When he realized he was either gonna wind up dead or in prison he decided he'd rather be the bully with the badge because at least then he's got a license to beat up a few assholes.

But the corruption in the police force still gets to him, especially when year after year he watches guys in his precinct beating on their wives and all kinds of sick shit, and the badge protecting them. Angry, depressed, and recovering from alcohol dependency Billy decides to end his life one night, but decides to grab one last drink at his favorite bar. There he meets Steve, a handsome and sweet little league coach with a pretty body and an sweetness he can't resist.

But Steve is not as innocent as he first appears. Steve is very familiar with death and darkness, being the heir of a powerful and controlling crime family. Or he would be, if his father weren't trying to kill him and hand the business over to someone he feels is more qualified.

Steve knows that he can't run forever and the only way to live is to take what should have been his by birthright. He recently lost his enforcer and decides that this time he's going to start fresh, with someone with no connections to the business or his father. Someone loyal only to him who he can train to navigate his seedy world. Steve's been watching Billy for awhile, and wants him - totally.

Even though Billy knows he's being played he can't help being drawn to Steve. Becoming more and more obsessed with him. But in order to protect Steve Billy has to go deeper and deeper into the chess game Steve is playing with his father, and face the fact that there are few limits to what he wouldn't do for the chance that Steve might genuinely love him.

Colm O’Shea and Ione Avery (@cursed-herbalist) were at Hogwarts together, both Gryffindors in the same year but they ran in different circles. They didn’t interact much until the later years at Hogwarts, when a quidditch training mishap drew them together. In their seventh year, they began dating in secret. From 1912 to 1914, they dated in secret, having excursions into the muggle populated parts of England, Wales, and Ireland.

Unfortunately, in the winter of late 1914, everything came to a screeching halt. An engagement popped up for Ione, one that wasn’t Colm… who had been working on saving for a ring of his own. Things just went from bad to worse and the relationship abruptly ended, propelling Colm into impulsively joining the Great War as an intelligence agent for the ministry.

In late 1918, they find each other again… this time in a war hospital. Ione was looking for her brother when she accidentally came upon Colm, who was recovering from severe burns to the back and a badly broken leg. They spend a lot of time getting to know one another again, and everything doesn’t always go smoothly… especially because Colm jumps right into another war (the Irish War of Independence) less than two months after the Great War officially ends.

For the WIP game, I am bursting at the seams with the need, the ballet au?

This one I am still working on the outline for/researching but I am so in love with this idea. You can read the other posts I've made about it here.

But the gist is: Billy's mom had a gift. Everyone said so, and that she could have gone much further with her career if Billy's father hadn't happened. After a whirlwind romance, a positive pregnancy test and a dash to the alter her career as a dancer ground to a halt but she never stopped loving it. Billy swears he started dancing before he could walk, loved spending hours with her in their garage or the living room learning at her side.

But men shouldn't dance according to Neil. Neil who drinks away all the money his mom makes giving lessons and can never seem to hold down a job. Neil who forces his mother to get a second job waiting tables just to make ends meet, and yells and screams and grabs her too tight when they argue. Billy quits ballet, even though he knows it breaks his mother's heart. But he just doesn't want to hurt anymore or be the reason she gets hurt.

When his mother is diagnosed with a terminal illness he's even madder at the world, and devastated at the prospect of losing the one parent that loves him. Before she passes his mother writes to her old friend, who runs a prestigious conservatory school for dancers in Indiana - Mrs. Harrington. She wants Billy to dance again because she thinks it will save him. Billy's not sure if he's worth saving after she's gone. But for better or for worse he's on his way to an uppity private school full of elite snobs.

Actually the school isn't that bad and he isn't even the only scholarship kid. And maybe he did miss dancing. Like a lot more than he was willing to admit to himself. And he's really good at it, and for once he's actually celebrated for it.

The only downside is Madam Harrington's son Steve, who just won't get out of his way. Madam Harrington thinks they both have what it takes to win Best Male Dance at nationals, but there can only be one number one.

How will Colm spend his weekend?

Well, his birthday is Sunday (August 27). He’ll go and visit a local pub, have a Guinness or two and a glass of whiskey. He’ll have his favorite meal of pork steak and roast potatoes with a dessert of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. He’ll sing along to whatever pub song is playing and go back home around 1 am.

Sunday morning he’ll attend mass as well. Colm is not necessarily the most religious, but he made a promise after surviving his war injuries and he sees through his promises.

He’ll also likely spend time reading and listening to current events… just not to the extent that he did when he was determining if he supported the Anglo-Irish treaty of 1921.
