honestly the more i think about a character like bowser being thrown into a horror fan game like mario and the music box, the more i actually kinda wanna see it

there's so much comedic possibility in a tough guy like bowser being in a scene like that.

mainly because he's notoriously unkillable

throw him off a ledge? he'll live

throw him into lava? he'll live

dude's survived being sucked into a black hole on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS.

he's been crushed by his own castle

he's been flung into next week

he's literally blown up (when he's defeated in dream team, he explodes into little stars)

and he just comes back game after game like

"uh uh uh"

bro is a menace, and that's what makes the idea so. hilarious. to me

heres what i imagine

A furious spirit, or a disgraced underling, or some other angered fiend trying to exact their revenge on Bowser. They're angry, they're not thinking straight, and they go in to stab him.

Their weapon shatters in their hand. Shatters.

Then Bowser... squints. Looks them up and down, processing what just happened. He can't believe it himself. Not that their blade or whatever burst like a detonated Bob-omb, but that they were

dumb enough

to try that.

Not even the Mario Brothers would pull something like that, and fail so spectacularly. They're smart enough to know you just don't do that. Not to him. You fight the King of Awesome, and you fight him good. You don't try to stab him like some commoner. Where's your sense of class, doofus?

He's not sure whether to laugh in his attacker's face, or burn them into a pile of ash there and then. In his bewilderment, all he can ask is:

What if each manic had their own eyeshadow palette? Today I present to you my associations with colors and names.
