you nodded at your husband as he reached out for that layer of cake at the middle of the round reception table. you don't think you can keep it down tho. your head's swimming right now, eyes unfocused and glossy. glad Atsumu's not talking about it, if ever he had noticed.

at the swarm of guests in the reception, your sight seemed to make a beeline to someone you never expected to marry. and he's staring back at you with wide wary eyes.

the whole scene was unexpected, the past week was full of bombs you never anticipated, he never anticipated. a shotgun wedding because of some overly reserved culture, a wedding to mask the shame he did infront of the bride's parents not even less a month ago.

you sighed, resigned at the ridiculous fate of your husband's twin and readily averted your gaze from him, already smiling at Atsumu and his new plate of cake.

"thanks, love."

four months passed by like a fork scraping on metal and one morning you found yourself naked and blanketed and alone on Osamu's marital bed. your head is throbbing so hard, breath labored as panic washed over you. within minutes, you were ready to leave their household. Atsumu and Osamu's wife are all you could think of at the moment.

then you saw her, carrying a supposed to be breakfast in bed, and awkwardly smiling at you.

"hi. you're up already. Osamu's just taking a bath." she squeaked.

your eyes glossed at the unexpected encounter with her, panic reaching to your brim. how could she be soー

"she won't tell Atsumu."

Osamu's arms wrapped around your hips, his chest flushed on your back as he softly gave your shoulder kisses. in front of his wife. you saw how she forlornly smiled as her eyes were glued on Osamu's arms around you.

"breakfast before she go, 'SaーOsamu."

"of course."

"no. i'm going home. thank you."

you forcefully squirmed away Osamu and stomped through their door, so sudden that he took a minute to process and he's out of their apartment on your heels, leaving his wife clutching her chest unbeknownst to both of you.

"let's stop this, 'Samu. please." you begged Osamu two nights after that incident with his wife.

"don't you love me anymore?"

oh god, i still do. i do.

"i don't."

"you were mine first."

"but he's my husband now. he's the one that i love now. and he's your twin, for god's sake Osamu. are you really out of your mind? can't you not see your wife hurting because of yourー"

"no. i'm not letting you go."

but to Osamu's horror, you snipped out all means of communications with him. it was hard because how it'll be possible if Atsumu and Osamu are on the same circle, on the same family. but you tried your hardest. and you have seen him getting restless.

and his wife giving you pleading glances.

why is she pleading you to cheat with her husband? when clearly, she's fucking hurting. she has consented, but you can't stomach it. Atsumu and she deserves so much better partners. and you'll be that better one for Atsumu. even if it'll kill you.

then came a day that all of that went 180°. Atsumu started to notice how Osamu and his longing gazes rest on you and your husband would linger his eyes on you on nights, full of question.

his question came past one night, "do you somehow want me to break this relationship up?"

to your horror, eyes wide, you sat up and took a good look at him before you whispered, "no. no Atsumu. why would you ask that?" you cupped his cheeks now wet with his rolling tears. it broke your heart to a certain degree. "why would you ask that?"

you came in terms with him after that night, but his relationship with his brother got dented. you blamed yourself as your attention was on Osamu and how he's treating his wife. he's getting worse everyday. how can he do that to her? is he really like that?

no. he's not like that. he's just like that because she's not you. Osamu's blaming her for everything bad happening to him, from his family to you.

god, what an asshole. and to think you love that asshole.

"you love Atsumu, huh?"

"with all my heart, Osamu. with all of my heart. so please."

"okay."

that sneaky afternoon, he walked out from you for the first time, and you let him. you have to let him.

that was hours before something horrifying happened.

his wife died, and she was pregnant. his wife died without him by her side. his wife died, never knowing how Osamu cried for her, how he's realizing he loves her.

"i regretted ever blinding myself because of my love for you that i didn't notice her. i regretted ever loving you. because of you, i lost them."

you smiled at him, Atsumu not far and listening, letting you take the wheel.

"no Osamu. you lost them because you were selfish and indifferent. keep that in mind."

and his words burned you and it'll always will, for times to come.

he was avoiding you for all the time you've been with his brother. does he remember? what was happening anyway? why's everything happening again?

no. not happening again.

so, you also avoided him with all your might.

acted like magnets with the same polar properties, repelling.

and you can't help but to watch him ruin everything for both him and his ex-wife, roping her new husband in the process.

you heard him muttered under his breath his apologies and his newfound motivation. and it broke you, because it's all for someone that's not you. and this is fine. this is fine.

ii.

it's different now.

he'sー

invigorated. to give his ex-wife the happiness she deserves. all along. and he'll continue to give her everything. until he's exhausted.

and he'll never be. you know it deep in your bones.

the way he looks at her while pretending to be her bestfriend? it's different from the way he looks at you.

so you close your eyes. you don't have to be a masochist.

iii.

how long has it been from when he last talked to you like how he did so long ago?

you can feel Atsumu's arms on your waist, his slow breathing as he slumbers. but your mind's not there. it's on some apartment far downtown, with Osamu crying because he can't bottle up his emotions anymore. his ex-wife is getting married again to her soulmate.

your heart wants to hug him, but it's not right. and he doesn't want you there.

i regretted ever loving you.

you swallowed hard.

again.

close your eyes.

yn be strong. you can get through this.

it's going to be okay.

he'll be okay.

focus on Atsumu.

you have seen him so devastated when his ex-wife committed suicide after the freakest incident these cycles had offered Osamu.

and you lost Atsumu, too.

you wanna run to him. but it's not too easy.

it'll waste everything he had worked for. for the love of his life.

six cycles ago, that was you.

when will this end?

something's different with him. he's.. hitting on you. and you hoped it was it.

but no.

he's trying to change the situations. trying new paths to get a new ending. but you're close to breaking.

"stop what you're doing, Osamu."

he was.. fuck. damn you, Osamu.

"not doing anything like that."

for over seven cycles, he's at it again. is he not afraid?

but there it was. even if it's just a glimmer, there's something else in his eyes. but Atsumu.. you can't sacrifice Atsumu.

you're afraid that he's just doing this for his love. and not for you.

of course. it's not for you. he has someone else now. and he's going through and against space and time to give everything to her. you're.. jealous. but she deserves all of it.

so close your eyes again, yn.

viii.

but when he tried his chance again on you, so early down the line, you gave in. but you didn't expect much. he's still inlove with her. he'll forever be. you smiled bitterly as you rode his train.

"i love you."

you teared up at how he said it, so sincere and believable. and you wanna believe him. you badly want to believe him. coz this was all you ever wanted. all you ever dreamt of, happening in front of your eyes.

"i love you too, 'Samu."

"i'm yours."

you laughed lightly. how could he say that? after this cycle, he'll have his happy ending with his forever love. after this, he'll come back to her like you never happened. and you'll go back to Atsumu, just like before. you just aren't meant to be, in any of these cycles. eventhough you longed for him for so long.

he maybe thought you were already asleep in his chest. he maybe thought that you'll never hear.

"i'm giving up on her. i'll take responsibility now. i have roped all of you to these crazy cycles and i'm sorry. i'm sorry for being selfish, yn. i pray there wont be any other cycle. i pray this would be the last. i'm done seeing you longing for me. i'm so sorry. i love you."

but you're not giving up on his happiness too.

so you wished for him instead.

because this is what is supposed to be.

that only cycle is enough for you to survive. everything will keep you and Osamu apart anyway so you'll treasure that previous cycle with all of your heart. where you were on edge, but you're happy. because you are with him.

now, you just have to drink to the fact that it's not Osamu, in any universe. and you'll forever suffer from it, for as long as you'll remember.

and he'll never know.

"i love you, Osamu. be happy now."

you whispered infront of the shrine that started it all.

small fandomstuck ramble

the wild n silly urge to create a fandomstuck fanadventure,,,,,,,,,

i have some vague ideas for a backstory n such involving roomy and i kinda wanna write about that and how they and some other fandoms would fare in a sburb session. not sure whether i'd put him in a session with the main 4 fandoms from fs and some others or have the main 4 fandoms be post-scratch fandoms and have roomy play the game with their dancestors.

actually speaking of which, what would the dancestors of the main 4 be? i know homestuck's would prolly be hiveswap and doctor who's could prolly be torchwood, but what about hetalia and supernatural? anybody know of any spinoffs/spiritual successors for these two that could count as these guys' dancestors?

How in the heck do you keep managing to send messages after I’m asleep when I stay up to at least midnight most of the time my dude? Do you ever sleep? Did you become some sorta creature of the night w/out letting any of us know?

7. How many of the main series games have you beat/completed?What’s the distinction between main series and spinoff? I’ve played OoT, MM, FS, WW, MC, TP, PH, ST, SS, ALBW, BotW. I’ve beat all of those many times except ST (fucking pan pipes) and SS (too repetitive) so I guess nine?

11. Favourite Ganon/Ganondorf design?Probably OoT and WW. TP is interesting in the way when it’s actually properly lit and detailed like in SSBB so you can see shit it’s p neat but still very generic evil guy.

Mipha too, but she finally got some characterization more than “she really loves link, guys.”)

I finished the third movie. And.. I'm not a fan of R. L. Stine, I've never even cared about those books at all either. So that was one of the reasons why I was not really interested in watching the movies. But since I had storms the last few days, the stormy weather is definitely an atmosphere to watch horror genres for me. Binge watching shows and movies when lots of storms are happening. That's just my atmosphere.

Like I said, there are a lot of homages from so many other shows and movies. Part of me wishes there is - there was - just a bit more to the plot. But I'm able to say that I liked the movies more than I thought, if I'm being honest. I think the Fear Street movies just completed that I know of, I have heard there are the spinoff movies that's based on the other creatures.

Out of the Stranger Things cast, only Maya Hawke and Sadie Sink appeared in these movies. And both of their characters were too similar to their Stranger Things characters in my opinion which can be good or bad, depending on opinions. Maybe that will give inspiration to their characters for ST and FS, maybe for me. Like depending on which series you want to write for, you can just flesh out their characters any way you want based on... Nevermind. I'm thinking a lot. I'm overly thinking a lot. I'm always overthinking all the time, over everything and nothing every time too. I don't know why. But that always happens.

Seeing Maya and Sadie in Street Fear, and seeing a lot of similarities between the ST and FS characters makes me curious about the other Stranger Things actors as their characters. But in that universe. Like Dacre with Billy's appearance, Joe with Steve's, and Joseph with Eddie. And maybe the other actors but in the Fear Street universe. That's a thought I have.

And now I blame those thoughts of Maya and Sadie in every way possible. That's definitely their faults.

But watch the movies when you get the chance to.

I realized that I forgot my signature, trying to send a message when you're barely conscious wasn't really the way to go. I'm not used to having signatures.

I sometimes look for mannerisms of characters in other performances of the actors, but I think we all do, so idk. But if they’re similar to what they already have done in ST, I guess it does depend on the character they play in FS. If that makes sense? I should probably just watch instead of doing my own speculating 😂

My Superfamily Set-Up

By and large I’m fairly happy with the upcoming Infinite Frontier status quo for the Superfamily. Granted that’s in part because I’m still convinced Kara will get an ongoing or mini in 2021, probably to coincide with her show returning, and PKJ hinted at plans for Steel on Twitter. But Kon has escaped the Titans dumpsterfire for a little while, and I’ve heard good things about Thompson as a writer as well. Kenan is popping back up in a one shot written by Yang that will hopefully herald more appearances in Batman/Superman. Jon is still co-protagonist with Clark in the main books, Tanya is in the Future State Shazam book and also a candidate for the FS Justice League book, so hopefully she’ll be in Titans Academy, and Lois is poised to be a big player in the upcoming Checkmate mini by Bendis. So fingers crossed, all the core members of the Superfamily will be in stuff come end of 2021.

Now that said, were DC to suddenly realize that I alone can save Superman, and asked me what kind of status quo I would like (whether for a mainline or Elseworld book makes no difference to me), this is the basic set up that I would go with:

Superman - I’d do a traditional status quo. Superman is disguised as Clark Kent, mild mannered reporter, married to Lois Lane, etc. I’d have Ma and Pa go back to being dead since I still am not a fan of them being alive. Note that this isn’t a reaction against Bendis, I loved Bendis’ run, but I do want to play with the traditional status quo a little bit before diving into something different. Especially since so many Superman writers have traditionally completely wasted the potential of Superman’s status quo.

Lois Lane - Similar to Superman I’d go with a more traditional status quo at the start. She works at the Daily Planet, she and Clark are married, she’s the best reporter in town, etc. I would eventually have her take over as editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet from Perry, I thought that was a great idea the New 52 wasted, and I love the idea of her and Cat Grant being rivals with the Daily Planet and Catco competing.

Jon Kent - I’d restore kid Jon and toss him back to the Super Sons, not because I think what’s been done with him has been bad, but mostly because I don’t want to write him as Superman, I want to write Clark. Jon seems to be being set up to be co-Superman, and I just don’t have any interest in writing that. To restore kid Jon without destroying Bendis’ run which I enjoyed, I’d explain that teen Jon is actually the “evil” Jon we saw from the Super Sons of Tomorrow future. He went back in time and rescued his kid self from Earth 3, and explained to him that he wanted to prevent that future from coming to pass, but that he needed to take his younger self’s place to do so. Kid Jon agreed, after all he was terrified of becoming evil in both Tomasi’s Super Sons of Tomorrow and Bendis The Man of Steel, and has basically been in hiding watching the events and also studying Hypertime so he can learn how to avoid ending up evil.

Clark and Lois would blow up at the Jons for the lie when Teen Jon judges he’s changed things enough for his kid self to return, but both Jons could point out that both Clark and Lois have kept secrets when they deemed it necessary from each other and Jon. That would be a neat conversation to have, and a way to continue the untraditional family dynamic that Bendis set up. You could keep teen Jon as a time anomaly until Hypertime catches up with him and restores him to his timeline, with him continuing to be Superman as penance, while kid Jon goes and pals around with Damian in Williamson’s Robin or whatever.

Superwoman/Kara Zor-El - I like the idea of Kara “graduating” to the Superwoman name. It’s open right now given Lana’s retirement, and I think it would suit Kara. I would keep Kara in National, it’s her own little corner to play in, but I would keep that development from (I believe it was) Andrea Shea, where Kara gets fired from Catco because she’s a terrible intern due to always running off to be a heroine. She and Kal talk, Kara admits she doesn’t really want to be a journalist, and so she goes and interns at STAR Labs. I hate how DC keeps turning all the members of the Superfamily into Clark clones. It’s goddamn stupid and I want them to please STOP. Why the hell would Kara want to go into journalism anyway? We’ve never even seen a damn journalist on Krypton! It’s a stupid thing they did on the TV show because they wanted to swipe Clark’s stuff. Let Kara be the scientist of the Els, the one who carries on the family tradition. What form that takes is something I’m open too, I liked Venditti making her interested in history in his annual, maybe make Kara an anthropologist? That would be hilarious.

Also give Lena to Supergirl, they can be best friends, enemies, lovers, I don’t care. But Lena is wasting away in a vault under Lexcorp last we saw, and that’s a damn shame considering how popular CW Lena is. I’d also add Natasha Irons (who I’d rename Mastersmith) and Tanya Spears (Powerhouse) to Supergirl’s supporting cast, they could play off each other as three supergenuis women).

Kon-El/Conner Kent/Scion - I’m really excited to see what Thompson is going to do with Kon on the Suicide Squad, but here’s what I would do with him. Kon would finally be able to shake off the Superboy moniker and leave that to Jon. Instead he’d take the name “Scion” as a reflection of his origins, and a tie-in to his new status quo. In the wake of Death Metal, Lex Luthor would abruptly step down as head of Lexcorp, stating that he needs time to redefine himself in the wake of his latest attempt to justify himself as the true hero by serving Perpetua, ending up with him needing Superman to save the day again. While he is away, he’s turned over complete control of Lexcorp to his sole heir: Conner. Conner is now head of one of the evilest megacorps in existence, and is one of the wealthiest men alive. Conner knows this is just another maneuver by Lex in his neverending crusade against Superman, but he’s determined to not just be another pawn. He accepts control, renames Lexcorp Superman, Inc. His mission will be to transform the megacorp into the force for good it pretends to be. Conner will have to take on not only Lex loyalists and traitorous underlings who would love to be CEO themselves within Lexcorp, but new megacorps who have flocked to Metropolis in hope of establishing themselves, now that the former Master of Metropolis has abdicated his throne. Threats within and threats without, but armed with the powers/morals of Superman and the charm/brains of Lex Luthor, Kon is just cocky enough to think he can handle it.

John Henry Irons/Steel - It will be a big year for John Henry Irons. His private company Steelworks is about to go public and make him a billionaire. Lana Lang has accepted his marriage proposal and they’re due to be wed. His niece Natasha has left the nest and is off working at STAR Labs. Irons is posed to finally resurrect the decrepit Suicide Slum and allow it to catch up to the rest of the City of Tomorrow. However there are problems: new megacorps are moving into the city in the wake of Lex Luthor leaving, people are disappearing from Suicide Slum with dark rumors are spreading about the reasons why, and the people of Suicide Slum are accusing Irons of planning to gentrify the borough. Making matters worse, weapons that Irons designed as a young man are appearing on the streets of Metropolis, attracting negative attention from the media and putting Steelworks at risk. Irons is going to have to suit up and take up the fight all over Metropolis, from the darkest levels of the Undercity, to the bright deceptive board rooms at the top of skyscrapers in the city’s heart. Irons will have to reckon with his past to secure his future, and confront the evil Metropolis would rather pretend doesn’t exist.

Kenan Kong/New Super-Man - Look just give Yang a damn Kenan book and let him go wild. Right now is either the best or worst time to give Kenan a book given the situation with Hong Kong, but if anyone is equipped to deal with it, it’s Yang. I’ll just add that I would love to see Kenan on a Global Guardians team, but I’d also love to see Justice League of China as a spinoff book of the main Justice League. Kenan is as close as DC has come to their own Spider-Man/Invincible take on Superman, Jon sadly hasn’t really differentiated himself from his dad while Kenan is VERY different. I would love to see Kenan pushed more and would buy a new book in a heartbeat. Also put out a damn New Super-Man omnibus Jim Lee, for God’s sake can’t you abuse your power to push the character you wanted created and is actually good unlike most of Wildstorm? You’re shoving Grifter back into everything but not Kenan? Christ.

So yeah that’s the Superfamily status quo I’d establish. Keeping my Clark and Lois ideas close to my chest for now, but I might go into more detail later.

Well, like any other wednesday here I am. I don't know what to say. I think it was a really satisfying ending. I little bit rushed, yes, but still very satisfying. Maybe they ended like that to leave to the open. If some day someone decide to use one of the characters they won't have any problem, because they are all alive and safe. They explained the time travel perfectly, I have no complains about that. I wish I could say thank you to all of them. These characters will aways be part of my life

I’m so glad you found joy in the ending! <3 And yeah, I noticed they definitely left doors open for spinoffs. Personally I would love to see a Flint-centric spinoff with May, Coulson, and Piper cameos. Boy from the future who can control rocks has to learn how to live a new life and control his powers? Yes please. I think they might have a hard time using Fitz or Simmons just because it’s implied parenting is their focus and as much as I know people would love a domestic!FS series I’m not sure that would sell outside of people who are already fans, lol.

As for time travel, I never try to understand it. It makes my head hurt. 😂

And the way I see it, you’ve already said thank you to the characters. You’ve stuck with their stories for the past seven years and made it to the end. Can’t really ask for anything better than that. <3

But yep, these are my recommended games for anyone trying to get into the Zelda series for the first time! Breath of the Wild was the most recent main game, so if you’re looking for best gameplay/graphics, go for that one!

I didn’t cover Zelda 2, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, or Minish Cap because I haven’t played those so I’m not confident in where I’d put them on the recommendation list, womp womp. Also didn’t cover the multiplayers(Four Swords, FS Adventures, Triforce Heroes) or any spinoffs because I really wanted to cover the main series!

But yeap, depending on whatever your gaming/story/tone preferences are, I recommend one of these games! Feel free to ask me in more detail about any, and whether I’d recommend them as a first zelda, because I like to infodump XD

Agent H’s AOS Rewatch

Season 3 Pro’s and Con’s

We’re done with the season 4 rewatch, and I’m over here still trying to process season 3. First time watching, it was my least favorite season and I nearly stopped watching the show because of it. Second time watching…it’s still probably my least favorite just by comparison, but I have infinite more respect for it. Anyway, I needed to sort out my thoughts on this, so it’s all under “keep reading” and don’t get mad at me.

Cons (because let’s get the bad stuff out of the way)

-I really dislike revenge stories, so all the revenge stuff with Hunter and Coulson and Ward and all did not sit well with me and felt even OOC.

-Speaking of, from the S2 finale through most of this season, there’s this theme of the men protecting and revenging their wounded or fridged girlfriends. It’s not super fun because this is a show where the women are clearly just as, if not more, competent than the men, but they’re not given the same opportunity to protect/revenge the men, much less given the same importance even in their own stories. I’m blanking on what MCU movies were going on around the time of this season, but I remember seeing this even in the movies. If I remember correctly there was a head of MCU who was later removed, but was apparently responsible.

-The use of Ward is muddled. I’m cool with his takeover of HYDRA, that seemed natural. But you expect it to lead to a huge standoff with SHIELD because he, their worst enemy, is now head of their worst enemy organization. Instead, he gets converted to the HYDRA religion and literally becomes a vessel. Which is fine, but the transition was really hurriedly and poorly done. This is a man who has complex views of loyalty (Garrett not HYDRA. Skye and Coulson but not SHIELD), so I’m gonna need a lot more convincing that he’d believe Gideon’s HYDRA.

-This will be on both lists: I’m disappointed about how after three seasons HYDRA is taken out so quietly and quickly.

-I don’t know where to put this, but: I didn’t actually hate the space boyfriend arc as much the second time around, but the potential overall got squandered and I dislike that.

-Rosalind’s death and possibly her whole arc was pointless. She was literally created and killed to serve Coulson’s character. Gross. And it’s a shame because it would have been really cool to use her as an actual foe-turned-friend for SHIELD throughout the season; she could have easily taken Mace’s place in S4 and that way at least would have been important for two seasons

-Okay, this is ABC’s fault not AOS’s. But like I remember how hard they advertised for Secret Warriors. Like that was the name of the arc. And. Then. They were a team FOR AN EPISODE. Imagine my disappointment. Also, there really weren’t enough Inhumans this season to suit me.

-Bobbi and Hunter leave for a failed spinoff and I will never forgive Marvel for doing that.

-I mean…I appreciate that they give Andrew a noble death, but like…was it really necessary to have him turn and later die? Really? It gives Ming Na Wen and Blair Underwood opportunities to do extraordinary acting and they nail it, but like maybe don’t kill a guy to solve your inevitable ship? Don’t kill off your second black actor?

-The time jump in the season finale is too sudden. Like we barely get to grieve over Lincoln and they hit us with a time jump and Daisy on the run and new director in charge. Uncool.

-This was the season I started to dislike Fitzsimmons. Don’t hate me. To me there’s an undercurrent in the writing that seems to favor Fitz over Simmons. FS’s subject to the same sexism that I mentioned in the first bullet. Like the story post-Simmons’ return focuses a lot more on Fitz’s feelings than on hers. He’s the one who has to stop her from getting tortured. He’s the one who saves Will, when it makes way more sense for her to go. He’s the one they all turn to for answers, when it should be both of them combined. And Simmons just gets a little pushed aside in her own story arc, but she just goes along with it anyway.

-I had to write this last because this is the thing that hurts the season the most for me: Lincoln’s treatment. Okay, first, he’s a great character who got a major personality change between seasons. I don’t like the personality change, but I’d be okay with it if they didn’t do worse. For starters, we barely know him. His life and backstory are so vague, the guy he visits in 3x03 is just “a friend”, and like we get zero information on how they know each other. They spend the entire season having everyone in SHIELD (except Daisy) be against him, dislike him, belittle him, and mistrust him WHEN HE DESERVED NONE OF IT. Like they make it really obvious that Coulson dislikes him father-style because of his relationship with Daisy. They make him petulant and act out to prove that Mack and May are right to mistrust him when really given the fact that he was an Inhuman guide and a medical doctor and a recovered addict, he’d be a lot more under control. They make Fitzsimmons talk down to him just because no one can be smart except Fitzsimmons, when clearly he would know more about Inhuman biology and medicine in general THAN THE BIOCHEM PHD (sorry that one will always bug me). Like they make some work on him with Coulson and May, and that’s good, but overall he is not allowed to have a solid relationship with anyone but Daisy. I think the writers 1) knew he was gonna die and decided not to invest in him or his relationships. 2) were trying to get a moody bad boy in the cast, and decided to cast him as it when it didn’t really make sense. Also, while talking about Lincoln, I really wish they did some more interesting things with his powers than lightning blasts. He has electric powers!! There’s so much you can do!!

-Okay, this one is just real personal. LINCOLN IS A MEDICAL DOCTOR. Or at least a medical student or resident or fellow (I mean, he’s in the hospital doing rounds). TREAT HIM AS SUCH. HE WANTED TO HELP PEOPLE, LET HIM HELP PEOPLE. LET HIM DO THE SURGERIES AND KNOW THE STUFF ABOUT BIOLOGY AND MEDICINE. LET HIM RETURN TO HIS OLD LIFE AS A DOCTOR. You had such a good character who turned himself around from addiction, dedicated his life to saving lives, got thrown multiple curve balls, and now has to decide how will he continue to serve others. Yes, he’s a hero in the end. But all that in between time, he could have been saving lives too.

Pros (because there is good stuff, I promise)

-Someone mentioned that this is the first season to have a unified storyline throughout, and that’s so true and it’s so well done!

-There’s a good natural continuation of the HYDRA and Inhuman storylines from S1 and S2. I think we can look at AOS as two large arcs: S1-S3 is about powered people and HYDRA. S4-S7 is about bending the limits of reality with Ghost Rider, LMDs, Framework, Space, and Time Travel,. S1 was about introducing us to powered people and HYDRA, S2 was about developing the history and politics of them respectively and how they relate to SHIELD. S3 is when Inhumans get involved with SHIELD and with the world directly and the fallout from that. For HYDRA it’s when we get the history and reasoning of the group, and even if it’s a retcon, I appreciate that it introduces the background of HYDRA as a way to end this arc

-Overall, I really do appreciate how this season fills out a lot of worldbuilding. We get a complete history on HYDRA, and we get way more info on Inhumans, but we also get to see how the human world is reacting to and divided on Inhumans, which carries over into the net season

-On both lists: It’s good that they take HYDRA out so quickly and quietly. That plotline had run its course, and it was so bittersweet because they finally had defeated their biggest enemy, but now they had even bigger problems to deal with it. That scene of Coulson and May watching HYDRA fall is one of my favorites because it mirrors that S1 scene of watching HYDRA takeover, but it’s so quiet and not celebratory like it should be.

-Like I said, I hate revenge arcs, but I do appreciate how it came full circle at the end with Coulson admitting his mistake and regret in seeking revenge. That’s much more on brand with Coulson and MCU even I had to sit through a painful arc just to get to that point.

-Episode 1, Daisy’s entrance and, for that matter, Fitz’s entrance. HOT DAMN.

-One of my favorite things about AOS is the way that they mix up pairings and everyone feels like friends and family. This season did a fantastic job on that with like Fitz/Bobbi, Mack/Daisy, Hunter/May, and way more.

-I complain that there wasn’t enough Inhumans to suit me, but also I really enjoyed the ones we got. I expected them to do Inhumans with basic powers like water, fire, plants, shrinking. But AoS writers were like nah, how about a guy who melts metal?? How about Medusa eyes?? How about a guy who can predict deaths? Like they just went straight to the extremes and I respect that. And yes, we have our typical speedster and fire guy, but the sheer joy that comes from those characters makes up for the predictability of their powers.

-We get Joey and Yoyo who are the effin’ best and deserve the world. And with Lincoln and Daisy we got SECRET WARRIORS!!!!

-First time, we get introduced to Charles and Robin and manipulating time, which obviously becomes important later, so I like that they introduce it so early in the show.

-I also love the way things come full circle with Lash. I wish he didn’t die, but the reveal of his true purpose was amazing

-THE FITZSIMMONS KISS. THE FITZSIMMONS SEX SCENE. Do I really need to say more?

-THAT FITZ vs MONOLITH SCENE. That is top like five moments of the show for me, and I’m gonna need the Emmys to give Iain de Castecker his belated Best Actor award any day now.

-4722 Hours was a work of art, and Elizabeth Henstridge, I will be getting you that Best Actress Emmy one way or another.

-Brett Dalton’s acting. This rewatch served to highlight how brilliantly he developed Ward’s evilness over the course of the three seasons and then the way he flipped the switch and played a completely different character as Hydra. You can feel it in his voice and mannerisms, it’s a totally different person even if it’s still technically Ward’s body. And to top it off, that finale where he pulls of a brilliant two-minute psychotic breakdown and a kickass fight scene. Standing ovation, good sir. I miss you.

-After S2 fridged three women of color, I do appreciate how this season chooses to take out four of its white characters even if I’m sad that they had to go.

-The Star Wars references were so effin’ funny

-Spy’s Goodbye. I will never be okay about this.

It kinda bothers me how the majority of the aos fandom has no problem with deke when he is clearly a jerk...i hope daisy doesn't get paired with him!

You and me both! No disrespect to Jeff but honestly, IDK what the writers see in D*ke as a character. What makes him valuable enough to keep him on till S7 apparently? Besides the whole FS future connection that he represents, I see him as a waste of screentime. You could use his screentime to focus more on either Mack or Elena who are super underrated characters in this show. Worst of all, I defs don’t want him near Daisy. He doesn’t deserve her by a long shot.

Yet at the end of the day, just focus on the characters you love as hard as it is when there are other characters that kill your vibe. I just want this show over TBH. Get Daisy her own spinoff @ Netflix

hi! so in your main fic masterlist the preludes have a star next to each spinoff BUT Kuroo and Osamu have two. Osamu’s prelude is a two part story DOES this mean Kuroo has another part -yet to be released- too? 🤔🫣

also in the chapters list, after ch15/ch16 (don’t remember) all the preludes boys are listed: does it mean that’s where part of all the preludes stories take place (chronologically speaking)?🤔🫣🫢 Is that chapter Ran’s wedding?

reader (kuroo’s story) is not dying, bc you said she won’t. but she will get into an accident (saw your ask about your 2nd fic + the ideas you have for the plot - kuroo’s war flashbacks 🤭🫣). In the end of the kuroo spinoff i got a feeling that he realised he MIGHT be a little too late in accepting his own feelings towards reader (that’s why i thought she was dying) like they were already there but he REFUSED to accept them and at the same time by being so present in Ran’s life he kept fuelling his one-sided love towards Ran EVEN tho he knew from the beginning that he never had a chance with Ran (he asked this question to kenma if im not mistaken)

so giving my two cents to this 2nd story: the main couple is going to be kuroo x reader and time wise is going to be AFTER reader’s incident and we (readers) are going to know what happened through flashbacks (possibly from kuroo’s pov bc he saw with his own eyes what happened to reader) 🫣🤭

last thing: gut feeling (don’t know if it’s because you have hinted something/replied to someone) but Kuroo not so lowkey hates Osamu. Imagine if Ran got ill bc of Osamu 🤔🫣 like what has Osamu done to make him feel so guilty and wanting to redeem himself towards Ran 👁️👁️

the boys are listed because they'll be playing a big part of that scene after what happens there (also in Ran's life hskshwkhl), it'll be like a "breather" because the following chapters are heavy angst so i needed my readers to relax a lil bit then hit y'all in one go. noticed the last one being still empty? that's ran's hubby's special chap. so the scope of those chapters are from the moment they met ran, to the present [5 years after she got pregnant and got married].

about EIGHT [2nd fic], it's still ran x her plushie, but in a diff sense. kuroo and the others will still be there, and kuroo and osamu will still play a bigger role than the rest, and some of the characters too.

and kuroo hates osamu because of something that i made a fic about......... or something 🤭 and i just answered something related to this. osamu made a grave mistake, and kuroo knows about it, shirabu knows about it, tooru too, and maybe yuki too. the last line in osamu's prelude is a hint. and noooo, ran didn't get ill because of osamu 😭

GALLERY: Three generations of the Bentley Flying Spur – 15 years of the Continental GT’s limo sister

Unless you’ve had an atrocious past that should be buried for good and never mentioned again, throwbacks are really pleasant things. You don the rose tinted glasses and think of the good old days; as bonus, the relic, person or memory doubles up as a marker to show how far you’ve come.

The carmakers are like us too – they love these “through the generations” displays when debuting a new model, more so if the car in question has a long and proud lineage. BMW Malaysia, for one, never fails to bring the old metal out for launches of core models.

Here, Bentley Kuala Lumpur gathered two previous Flying Spurs to welcome the new one at its Jalan Pinang KLCC showroom. It was an open invitation for a gallery post, so here you go.

Bentley’s entry limo (only if you compare it with the super luxe Mulsanne) is now called the Flying Spur, but it first surfaced as the Continental Flying Spur in 2005 – the new model’s roots spelled out clearly in the name. The first-generation FS was a spinoff of the original Continental GT that changed the game for Bentley in 2003. The first FS’ design also made it clear that it was a sedan sister to the Conti GT.

Still handsome, the 2005-2012 Continental Flying Spur was powered by a 6.0 litre W12 engine shared with the Volkswagen Phaeton. Here, the twin-turbo 12-pot – paired to a ZF six-speed automatic – made 560 PS and 650 Nm of torque, good enough for a 0-100 km/h time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 312 km/h.

Crewe also gave the model a Speed version (2008 onwards, 610 PS and 750 Nm) as well as the Series 51 focusing on design. The latter offered a three-tone cabin.

The template was successful enough for a sequel, and the second-generation Flying Spur came along in 2013. This time, there was no Continental in the name, so the saloon was free forge its own, more luxurious path. Still based on the Volkswagen Group’s D1 platform, the length and wheelbase (5,299 and 3,066 mm respectively) remained almost the same, but it’s noticeably wider, the shape more organic and less upright, in contrast with the more vertical grille.

While the original FS looks its age today, the just-replaced model still appears very contemporary and we suspect that some might even prefer its “grander” look over today’s car. The example you see here wears a tasteful two-tone brown suit and its cabin is “very Bentley” with the continuation of the twin-cowl dashboard. Lots of quilted leather and wood too, of course.

It continued to have a 6.0L W12 heart, now with 625 PS and 800 Nm. In 2014, Bentley offered a V8 engine in the Flying Spur for the first time; also boosted by two turbos, it made 507 PS and 660 Nm of torque. In 2016, S models boosted the W12 to 635 PS/820 Nm and the V8 to 528 PS/680 Nm. All second-gen cars came with a ZF eight-speed auto with steering shift paddles.

Fast forward to 2020 and we now have the third-generation Flying Spur. Totally unrelated to the previous car, today’s saloon sits on an all new platform (the Volkswagen Group MSB platform also underpins the current Continental GT and Porsche Panamera). The overall length of 5,316 mm is slightly up, but the 3,194 mm wheelbase is a full 130 mm longer, which means shorter overhangs. The latter is just one of the many more sporting design details. There’s also a new Blackline pack that swaps out all chrome trim for black.

It’s not just the new proportions and appearance that are more dynamic, Bentley is calling the latest FS a “super-luxury sports sedan”, for the affluent man who – besides needing a limo to be driven in – likes a spot of driving himself when the opportunity arises.

The latest 6.0L W12 makes 635 PS and 900 Nm, propelling the 2,437 kg limo to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Top speed is a heady 333 km/h.

The supercar speed is supported by new tech such as active all-wheel-drive, all-wheel steering, three-chamber air springs and the Bentley Dynamic Ride electric anti-roll system. New novelties include the cool rotating central display, detachable touchscreen remote control and retractable Flying B mascot. Lots of new leather techniques used here, too.
