My mother gave me some body mists yesterday! Pink's (Victoria's Secret) Cucumber and Cranberry.

They both smell very good but I'm going to save the cranberry for either late summer or early autumn. The cucumber is my personal favorite, as it's a really fresh scent, they also feel good on the skin, moisturizing in a way? Though they go on very wet.

I definitely recommend both uwu

Fruity fragrances for the summer heat

Following up on a previous post listing my favourite white florals for the summer, I’m listing a few fruity fragrances I love to wear on hot summer days. We typically recommend light citruses as we stretch into the latter half of the season when the air becomes humid and heavy but sometimes, it’s a juicy fragrance that hits the spot.

Bombay Bling by Neela Vermeire opens with a sunny mango accord paired with spices that come to be buoyed by the undulating, sensual warmth of a high quality sandalwood. Joyous and perfect for a carefree day spent outdoors.

Kiste by Slumberhouse opens with a slightly spicy peach that’s syrupy yet never saccharine before drying down into a soft honeyed glow. Kiste may seem like an unexpected pick as this is no light wear. And yet somehow, the fragrance is never overbearing. Performs well in the heat, great for sultry summer afternoons and evenings. Unfortunately, this one has been discontinued but Slumberhouse has been known to reintroduce old scents.

Music for Awhile by Frédéric Malle is one of the more playful Malles with a sticky sweet pineapple that meets a cooling, herbaceous lavender united by an earthy, ambery patchouli. Wears beautifully on suntanned skin, melding with you instead of sitting on top of you.

Un Jardin en Méditerranée by Hermès is the lightest wear in this list and probably the lightest fig fragrance I’m familiar with. Emphasizing green notes, this fig is less milky than other figs on the market. Great paired with bright, cloudless blue sky mornings.

Mure et Musc Extreme by L’Artisan Parfumeur is a sheer wear based on a moderate blackberry sweetness that is perfectly offset by gentle, fruity muscs and soft woods in the dry down. Calm and easy going.
