Whats the "Feel good AU" from the michase post. Tell me how things went right somehow!
its a very out-there au, simply to deposit all of the cute ideas there without big repercussions
basically, syd is alive, first and foremost. You gotta have at least a basic understanding of my syd before diving in here to understand a few things but yea, he's there.
After the events of echo (most likely following jenna's route good ending) they all kinda separate for a while and do their own lives.
Jenna and TJ are faraway (separatedly), Flynn and Carl are together and living relatively closer, but not in a place like Payton or anything, far from Echo, the same goes with Syd and Leo (also together) living in the same city/state as Flynn and Carl
And then u have Chase. Chase tries something with Micha after the events and surprisingly it worked pretty well until they started to have issues about Micha wanting to travel around the states and be away from Echo and Payton, while Chase wanted to stay and "settle down" with him. Micha is a free bird while Chase is scared of doing new things, especially right now. So...they cut things off, and Micha goes away.
So Chase kinda stayed on his own path lookin for jobs, possibly finishing his major since it was in such a latter state already anyway and later trying with being a historian...all of that while his friends basically knew little about his whereabouts and continued on with their lifes wondering where the fuck chase was...until he came back
The thing in his head is a lot quieter than before since the events, so hes been...alright, picking up the broken pieces of his own being and doing an effort in getting better...He visits his friends and realizes some of them even have families (Beck for Carl and Flynn, Leon for Syd and Leo -i havent shown him yet-) and even surprised to see some of the tetanus gang still kicking and getting better just like Micha.
So since things ended on a high note last time, they welcome him with open arms...
now, the picture with Micha is possibly them at a gathering where Jenna's living, its kinda far, but it seemed to coincide with where Micha was staying for the month-week, he received a text from someone telling him about the reunion, so he showed up and...caught on with Chase, too.
The pic shows them talking in the frontyard about this and that, and who knows what will come out of that

You have me buzzing about Nancy and her choice of victims for different things. I didn't even think of that but now it's all I can focus on. Would it be too cheesy to have one of the Flores girls be the fertilizer... bc that makes my heart tug so sadly.... I think she'd pick Julie to eat since she's *slightly* more filled out (I am fat- I mean no disrespect to anyone by saying this lol) but also in that same regard maybe Leland or Danny? Maybe Danny bc Leland may be too lean? Sorry if you didn't want input! But you really got me thinking! I hope you have a good evening/night!

just generally i think nancy would be more picky about who she is in comparison to the main family. she would only want the best and is mildly superstitious about the spirits of who she kills.
to me it would make sense for her (and the rest of the family) to eat people who are fit and toned because they'll have a higher muscle to fat ratio so i think all the vics are gonna be good meat in that regard. there's also the thing that you shouldn't stress cattle out before you kill them as it makes the meat tougher so people like julie may actually not be the best meat. part of me wants to believe that nancy doesn't enjoy eating women, seeing them as lesser and thinking they're not good enough for her. the other part of me believes that she ~could~ potentially eat younger women with the belief that they're more fertile and that's a trait she would gain during consumption. if the latter were true i think it was only something she did in her 20/30s before she found johnny. judith was the last woman she ate. nancy became johnny's mom by consuming her, finalising the handover.
despite nancy saying "you know what happens to bodies when you plant 'em?" i feel like it makes more sense for her to use the remains/bones to grind into bonemeal but once again im of two minds. she either is picky about who she uses as her victims are her flowers and so thinks certain people (high risk victims/women like prostitutes or runaways) aren't deserving of a place in her frontyard OR she uses all of them as a body count in a way and each flower in her frontyard is someone she killed. for that first reason i do NOT think she would want maria's spirit in her house specifically for all the reasons you already know.
dumping the bodies in rivers seems to be the worst option of the three, left for people who johnny (and possibly nancy) impulsively killed. i dont see this as a thing the entire family does, just nancy and johnny. there are two radio broadcasts about rivers. the first is about the tulsa couple's IDs being found in the pedernales river which is canonically about nancy/johnny as nancy has a voiceline referring to it. it's a river fairly close to newt/austin so could possibly be a quick dumping place. the other river is devil's river where bodies were found stabbed and strangled which obviously suggests it was johnny's doing. and nancy has a line about showing the victims devil river. devil's river is a fair drive out so this river seems weirdly special for the two of them? idk if it had special meaning for nancy and then took johnny there for his first kill and then it became a special place for johnny away from nancy where he can play on his own. dumping in the river is just to dispose of evidence after an impulsive kill imo. i don't think nancy has much of the strength to transport and get rid of the body at this age so probably doesn't do it often or does it with johnny (like the tulsa couple). does make me wonder who nancy impulsively killed and disposed of in her youth. did she used to have any impulses similar to johnny that she 'grew out of'...?

Iron Grass
Carbon Fiber snake with three telescope eyes. A construction crane, bent like a scorpion’s stinger, is its tail. A what sound? It is rain, over garden vegetables, that is blown to fall on the shore/surface of the pond, to the right of where the snake crawls leftward, into dusty grass. Crawls, distant from the Autumn sleet. Distant from the sound of traffic on an iron bridge that is posted into the lake’s floor. Above the lake water, the bridge’s underpassage is a window to see the far away CloudReel at a direct vantage. And it can be pictured, above the fog by all three retina.
Brief equation for building a creature from head to end: Snake, + Crane, + Hook;= Snake’s-Tackle. The hook is posed up in a tall L-shape behind, while the body unslithers and contracts, still in front. Contemplation be done, barriers be damned, the snake drives diagonal, away from a frontyard where sixteen brown leaves make eight sounds when ripped off branches: and in four piles fallen on a freeway’s shoulder puddle. The snake slithers through them. Wet and disturbed before the arrival of the sleetclouds, the leaves, as the snake crosses an empty stretch of interstate; the mission.

Brain Virus (1/14/22)
Semi-Post-Apoc setting, the world hasn’t gone to shit yet but its getting there. Im in a abandoned city fighting a giant fleshy spider monster with no skin and a human heard, there are also smaller zombie-like creatures in the city, presumably created by the spider. I traverse the city bu jumping rooftop to rooftop while all the zombies are stuck on the ground. The spider gets angry and a fight is started for realz, it dies. Exit the city and walk down the road for a bit, until I find a bunker in a state of disrepair, inside is Ultron from the movie “avengers, age of Ultron”. Flip a switch and Ultron escapes the bunker.
(BTW, this entire time these 2 kids have been following me around, I think i’m like their adoptive father figure but I just make them carry my stuff)
One of the kids informs me that the entire world has been infected with nano-machines and is now apart of a giant hivemind created by Ultron. Then I get a invite to a house party, I already know that they are infected but decide to go anyways. We go to the house party and the kids tell me that neither of them want to stay, so I tell them to steal a car and drive somewhere safe and i’ll stay at the party. The son of the guy who invited me sees this, and as I reenter the house I grab a knife from the kitchen and prepare for a fight. The guy who invited me here attacks me with a golf club and we start sword fighting, the knife gets knocked out of my hand so I continue with a golf club, we are now sword fighting with golf clubs while trying to grab the knife on the floor.
The fight goes from the living room, to the frontyard, to the backyard, I get the knife but the guy gets on top of me and starts beating me senseless, I stab him but the handle breaks off, leaving the blade inside of him. No blood comes out and he seems more like he’s in mild pain instead of serious injury. He gets off of me, i’m to tried to fight and he just gets some white chalk and starts drawing on the ground, mumbling to himself. I get up, kill him, and the kid from earlier picks me up and we leave.

Description: Usually tagging along with BF and GF was pretty fun!! But there was one thing you were kind of envious of... their relationship. But, that seems to change after one particularly interesting rap battle between one average guy.
Edd:
When he first saw you three arrive, he defiantly took interest in you.
Not like in a weird way!! Its just that… he saw your 3rd wheeling and just… thought you were attractive.
After his rap-battle with Boyfriend, he felt a bit… well upset.
He rap-battled to impress you!! Now he just seems kinda lame :,(. But still!! He wanted to talk to you, so…
Of course he came up to you while BF and GF were packing up.
“uhh.. hey! Looks like you wheel-y wanna get out of here, huh?”
His dumb little pun made you chuckle a bit, which made him chuckle along with you. But, soon enough he introduces himself.
“I’m Edd, nice to meet you.”
He's able to make your acquaintance pretty easily though! His easy-going nature really contradicts Boyfriend’s out-going nature. It's just what you need!!
Before you can talk to Edd more though, you do have to leave. So, you give him your number and tell him to “text you”.
Once you were out of sight and ear-shot, Edd celebrated his tiny success. He was so happy!! Its not everyday you get a cute persons number right?
“LETS FREAKING GOOOOO-!!” Edd screamed in victory.
Matt:
When you three first arrived on scene Matt immediately took interest in you.
A cute person almost as cute as him?? Sitting on the stereo?? Its like a dream come true!!
Before the battle even starts, he approaches you with the intent to charm you. No matter what~!
“Hey, cutie~ whats your name~?”
“…y/n.” You were kind of off-put by the immediate flirty nature, but you found it kinda of funny how “charming” he was attempting to be.
You two started exchanging pickup lines, talking about you hobbies, etc. Until the battle was about to start. Matt looked like he didn’t want to leave you alone yet, so he made a small bet.
“If I win, I get to take you on a date!” “And what if you don’t win?” “Well, I’m going to!” “Yeah, okay, we’ll see.”
Once Matt finally gains his “win” (and by “win” you meant absolute failure.) you looked over at him, and saw that he was smiling… which was weird.
He just lost?? What??
He struts over to you, with the confidence of someone who just got an a on a test they’ve been studying for forever now.
“That was impressive, wasn’t it?” “You just lost.” “…I guess. But I had fun!”
His enthusiasm about his loss was… adorable. His attitude about life just made you wanna squeal.
“Shame that we can’t go in that date… would’ve been nice.” “Who said we couldn’t?”
Your small comment made him glow, he was so happy when you gave him your number. So much so that was the ONLY thing he talked about for the rest of the night.
Guess losing wasn’t so bad after all :).
Tom:
When you and your friends showed up, he was more than displeased to see them but... something about you caught his eye.
You were attractive, he could admit that. And the fact that you were also wearing checkered shoes, just like his intrigued him a bit.
So, he decided to actually try rap-battling... whoever the hell was in his frontyard.
...and lost. Sorely. Man, was that blue-haired nerd good.
Usually he'd just crawl back inside to Edd and complain but then he noticed you approaching.
He noticed you approaching- Oh fuck.
“Hey, I like your shoes.” “Oh? Uh... thanks.” “I’m y/n, by the way. We should talk and stuff.”
And that's how he ended up with your number. He was ultimately... confused?? Why would this attractive person approach him?? He's so?? Ugly??
He isn't complaining though, unless it's about losing to Boyfriend. Than he's talking your damn ear off.
Guess that went better than he thought.
Tord:
Like Tom, he was pissed that you and your stupid friends ended up in his front yard. Why are you here?? Just to mock him??
No, actually. It was to “rap-battle”. He wanted to decline but... there was just something about the way you sat on the stereo. The way you looked at him with a look of cockiness.
He had to wipe that smug look off your fucking face.

You hear a voice come from behind the both of you, it's a man in a green hoodie who seems to be slightly upset. He grabbed onto the Red Hooded Douche’s ear and seemed to have dragged him inside. Coming back outside just to talk to you.
“Sorry about him, he can be a little...” “Excentric?” “If that's how you want to phrase it, yeah I guess.”
You chuckled softly and gave the green hooded guy your number. “Give that to him, will ya’?”
Once Tord has finally calmed down, and finds out you gave him your number, he's kind of shocked?
But hey, an opportunity is an opportunity, so of course he's going to take it. And after a bit of conversation.
...he guesses you aren't so bad.

I considered creating a new thread on DV. But seeing as community morale's already so low & users saying they're crushed by onsite toxicity, I don't know if this will simply add fuel to the fire. So I'm posting this here instead. You can weigh in with your opinions if there are any, idk. I just feel like talking with you guys.
In the beginning, high tension existed between casual players and speedrunners:

(Feels like a lifetime ago.)
A lot, if not all, of the frustration was directed at the site rather than the players themselves. Many of us feared that DV was catering to the wrong demographic or that we were the ones who shouldn't be here.
Eventually, we reached a point where most of the remaining players finished what's available of the main story/questline, and the speedrunner & casual gamer tension became a thing of the past. Much of the proceeding complaints revolved around the overall lack of content, staff's failure to deliver promises, and DV's game mechanic flaws.
One year later, the custom queue finally opens. The discourse evolves into "rich players vs the general userbase." And that's what rules the conversation today.
It just seems that DV tends to give off the uncomfortable impression that they "cater" to the smallest group of players, leaving the rest of us dissatisfied and seemingly deserted. Whether they're really catering to any specific group is arguable. Fact remains that we've seen this before when it was about speedrunners in 2020.
And like, it's frustrating. It's frustrating because DV created this.
That's why I don't think the term "rich users" should necessarily belong in the heading or opening paragraph of these complaints. The discussion will inevitably derail as people zone in on those two words: Rich. Users.
The focus should be on DV's questionable decision-making: what the heck were you guys thinking when you created this system?
Customs have no business consuming so much of the community's energy, time, and attention, and honestly I don't think staff intended this either. Maybe this distraction is convenient. Because without the customs debacle, we'd all circle back to: the overall lack of content, staff's failure to deliver promises, and DV's game mechanic flaws.
I wish they'd first and foremost push out that roadmap thread that's been on the "what we're working on" list since July 2021:
"While working on our balancing roadmap, we decided that it might be beneficial to set up a general roadmap thread. It would be updated periodically with adjustments and additions as time goes on. It would contain an itemized list of each future update we'll be focusing on in succession."
That sounds great. Communication. Exactly what we've been pleading for. Why is this thread taking 8 months (so far) to develop...?
You know what I want? I want housing. I want guild duels. Additionally: I want restrictionless guilds with no member caps. I want normal shops. I want towns that are not fetch-quest galore. I want a streakless Ad Theater. I want true adventuring, not riddles in the goddang dark.
I don't give a damn about customs unless that custom is a fully furnished single story house with a cute frontyard garden and backyard pond & armored chicken guards in Louise friggin Hill!!!!!!

You step out of your bathroom, finding Iwaizumi’s figure sitting on the edge of your bed, he is pulling the neck of his costume, trying to breath better. When his greyish eyes fall on you, he starts coughing as red tints his cheeks.
You are wearing a cat costume. The black bodysuit frames all the of your curves perfectly, covering your entire figure until the ankles, the belt accentuates your waist as the boots give you more height. Cute little ears compliment it along a black dot on your nose.
Iwaizumi blinks a couple times, stunned. When he told you to dress as a cat he had thought about a cute dress and a furry tail not something as sexy as this.
“You’re right. You are NOT going out like this”
“Uh? What is that change of attitude?
You sit next to your boyfriend, making him stand violently. Your eyes widen as you appreciate his knight costume. The armor he is wearing makes his form look bigger than ever. Heat places in your stomach as you look at him up and down, purring teasingly at him.
“Mmh you look great Haji”, Iwaizumi furrows his brows at you, but your sweet voice is making his breath difficult, “I made a good pick”
“Well I didn’t so go change”
You smile smugly at his reactions as you raise from the bed to take a better look at yourself in the standing mirror of your room.
“Now, that I look it better, I’m starting to like it, you know?”
Iwaizumi crosses his arms over his chest staring at you, feeling himself growing hotter. You give him a wink, making him sigh as he rolls his eyes. He drifts them back at you almost instantly, his gaze fixes on your hips as you turn around looking at your back, the curve of your ass showing up nicely.
He bites his lip, holding back a groan as the thought of ripping that pretty costume out of you and pinning you onto the bed crosses his mind.
“Fine. Whatever, but we’re going to be late if we don’t leave now”
“Okay, Okay”
Seijoh third years were doing a movie night and thanks to Oikawa’s suggestion, you had to wear costumes too. Iwaizumi nearly punched the setter when he gave you the idea to pick each other’s partner costume.
“Ready, pretty cat?”
“Yeah–Wait! My tail!”
Iwaizumi’s hand remains extended as you rush to the house, searching for the fluffy black tail you bought. He sits on the steps, waiting for you when a black cat comes out the bushes on your frontyard.
The cat’s eyes glisten as they look at him. He doesn’t even try to pet him when it sits beside his foot, it’s yellow orbits gazing intensely at him
“Okay I’m ready–Oh! Who is this?”
You say, kneeling beside your boyfriend, placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Isn’t he cute?”
“Don’t get too close, Y/N. It’s a stray cat”
“Nonsense, animals love me”
Your hand reaches for the head of the cat when a horrible shriek comes out it as its claws move violently towards you. A high pitch scream comes out of you and you shut your eyes as Iwaizumi’s arm moves in front of you inmediatly.
The cat disappears into the night as you hold your hand. Iwaizumi turns you around, sighing and furrowing his eyebrows together as you open your eyes slowly.
“I told you to not get close”
“Sorry…”
Iwaizumi’s hand moves the strands of hair that had fallen over your forehead, covering your eyes, and gently tugs them behind your ear.
“So…good with animals huh?
You huff at him as you relax, causing a knowing grin to tickle the spiker’s lips.
“Your screams are cute…somehow”
“Hajime! That’s no fun”, you pout at him, standing up clumsily before placing a hand over your head, “Shit! We are gonna be late as hell–”
His strong arms lift you from the ground, carrying you in a bridal style as he enters the house. You gasp at Iwaizumi fast movements, making hiim grin, as he closes the door with a loud kick. He places you on the couch, taking parts of his costume off.
“What are you–“
“I haven’t changed my mind, pretty girl. You’re taking that off or–” he moves on top of you, placing himself between your legs as he throws his shoulder pads to the floor, not leaving your eyes for a second as heat rushes to your face and core..
“I’m doing it”
