unreasonably upset about the fact that there are art forms I want to practice, that I know how to do, that the school has the extremely expensive equipment for, that I cannot use because an engineering professor can’t give me directed studies work in the book arts lab

Dan and The Dandelions; A Dandelion Family Christmas was an album released in 1987. The album featured original songs as well as beloved classics such as Let It Snow, Silent Night and Jingle Bell Rock.
The album came out this day, just in time for the holidays and featured a family photograph from the year prior in the living room of Jael Levi and her husband, Blanc Monet-Levi.

Exposing myself as a homestuck reader but like I realize now that the platonic energy of the Alpha kids is what I'm projecting into tonaegiri. The dark frightening depths of knowing your friends so well, and your own personal flaws playing into that equation.
I think I'm craving that high of the Act 6 Alpha kids' messy as hell relationship and conflicts but still the closest people they are to each other kind of vibe.

I cannot believe Shaving People Punting Things actually uploaded a new video after two years! And it’s just a dude being on fire for 15 minutes (also some interesting cameo at the end...) . What a gift

kinda sad that i have to downplay my interest for art and cool stories even amongst my family because they'll keep pointing out how "childish" i am for being excited about these kind of stuff :(
like if it wasn't about work or marriage etc, then they'll be like "you're already 23 you need to think less about what you like" etc etc
but have they considered that if it wasn't for these fandom stuff i wouldn't be able to rest from real life problems? like... did they ever considered that?

I did all I could. their emotions are not my responsibility. I did what was right. I did what I could. it's not my fault, whatever does or doesn't happen. it's not my responsibility.

Having allergies is uniquely weird because basically you just go about your life as usual except you’re violently ill all the time cause the air conditioner is on too high

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

Sometimes I wish we would start calling out the performative radicalism on this site for the poser bullshit it is. "Remember, it's always morally correct to kill a cop!" "Don't forget to firebomb your local government office!" "Wow, it sure would be a shame if these instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail got spread around!"
Okay. But you're not killing cops or firebombing government offices. You are posting on a dying microblogging website to a carefully-curated echo chamber that has radicalized itself into thinking that taking the absolute most extreme position on any subject is praxis but that anyone discussing the most practical way to effect actual change is your sworn enemy. You do not have the street cred OR the activist cred to be talking about killing cops, babe.
