I feel that Rapunzel and her Dad's issues relied too heavily on demonizing Varian as their problem. True he kidnapped the Queen, but their was more going on with them before Varian lost it on them. I dislike how defeating Varian is treated as solving the issues between them.
Honestly, all of Frederic’s shortcomings are too easily explained away because the show uses Varian as a scapegoat. Frederic hiding the knowledge of the black rocks until they are literally starting to destroy the captial? Somehow he convinces the angry townspeople to turn against the one person actually working on stopping the rocks. Frederic sending disguised guards to harass Varian in his already destroyed home? Completely overlooked in favor of Rapunzel just being angry about being lied to. Even Rapunzel uses Varian as an excuse to lesson Frederic’s actions when Frederic even dared to try to take responsibility for his mistakes.
Varian didn’t cause the rift between Frederic and Rapunzel. It was Frederic’s lies that caused that rift. It’s Rapunzel’s inaction until she literally couldn’t not ignore the black rocks that’s part of the problem. The townspeoples’ rage about the black rocks destroying their homes and livelihoods shouldn’t have been “solved” by directing that anger on a single teen. Frederic was WAY more responsible for the conflict in S1 than Varian was. All Varian did was allow his sorrow turn into rage, borned from the desperation that was forged by Frederic and Rapunzel actions and inaction.
Also, Frederic and Rapunzel has had their issues with each other before Varian was even induced to the series. Frederic was already understandably overprotective of Rapunzel, while Rapunzel felt like the kingdom of Corona just became a larger tower for hun to hide her away. Rapunzel comparing Frederic to Gothel for that brief moment was the true conflict between the two of them. Varian was just a boy who wanted to help when it was clear to him that no one else was trying to stop the rocks. Whatever weird obsession the show has in portraying Frederic as this “poor and misunderstood, soft-hearted” father just makes his character suffer due to not letting him develop.

Goofy kids who just wanna build a fort (would’ve preferred the outside to do so, but hey, if they must they’ll build it in the Pizzeria)
Susana “Susie” Franz / Chica the Chicken
-April 1, 1978-June 26, 1987 (9 years old), she/her, Mexican-American
-Born to a well off middle class family, Susie is the oldest of 3 children and her family’s pride and joy. She was a naturally creative child and often thought of as weird by her classmates due to her eccentric behavior.
-Very protective of her boys! (Gabe, Jeremy, & Fritz), she and Fritz are both rather bitey children and who have been sent to the principle’s office a great many times.
-Her dog’s name is Pepperoni! He had been a huge comfort for her growing up (he passed away a few days before her own death)
-Very skilled at arcade games, she tends to rub salt into the wounds of the other children who dare to try and overthrow her (to their own expense)
Jeremiah “Jeremy” Reynolds / Bonnie the Bunny
-December 12, 1978-June 26, 1987 (8 years old), he/him, Taiwanese-American
-Grew up in a small apartment with a single mom, Jeremy is a sweet natured boy who preferred to stay within his own bubble and tend to his own interests.
-He’s mute and communicates with sign language! He’s taught a little bit to his friends (although he also uses writing and drawings to help them out where they don’t understand)
-Faced frequent ableism at school from students and teachers alike, he in turn did exactly as his mama taught him, use rude gestures.
-A huge mama’s boy! It’s always been them against the world, with his mom doing everything to give him the comfort she never had growing up. They bond over silly lil things, like the ant farm they’ve set up! (Jeremy’s tried to name every single ant)
Fritz Crowe / Foxy the Pirate Fox
-November 11, 1978-June 26, 1987 (8 years old), he/him, American
-Grew up on a block with his parents and older sister, he’s the Hurricane resident menace. Adults often label him as a “problem child”, he’s very fidgety and cannot stay still.
-Has a tendency to get into fights, as such he’s always bruised up and covered in bandaids. This also results in plenty of his clothes being ripped up and dirty, his mom frequently gets onto him for ruining all his nice clothes (he could care less)
-He’s Fritz Smith’s kid! He’s named after his parent. (Fritz actually took their job at Freddy’s to search for their son’s body and damage the Pizzeria’s property as retribution..)
-Had a cute lil crush on Susie while the gang was growing up, his form of affection though is usually shown through teasing, as such, him and Susie behave like a bickering old couple when around each other.
Gabriel Feitt / Freddy Fazbear
-June 26, 1978-June 26, 1987 (9 years old), he/him, American
-Grew up with his dad and older sibling in a less than favorable economic situation. Gabriel is a very empathetic, although anxious young boy. He grew up rather sheltered due to Cassidy’s determination to keep him safe, and he often struggles to connect to other children his age.
-The missing children’s incident happened on his birthday, he deals with a lot of internalized guilt, blaming himself for the deaths of his friends.
-Struggled to have a good relationship with his dad (who for years had been battling his own depression), and being a child, often couldn’t fully understand why his dad wasn’t always present for him and Cassidy.
-Always carrying around a Freddy plush that Cassidy had sewed up for him. It’s his comfort for when Cassidy isn’t around.
Cassidy Feitt / Fredbear
-February 2, 1974-June 26, 1987 (13 years old), nonbinary, they/them, American
-Gabriel’s older sibling and parental figure, Cassidy had to grow up fast following their mother’s passing and their father’s downward spiral. They’re an old soul who wants to keep their brother’s life in order (they often tend to forget that they themselves are still a kid)
-A rather spiteful and unforgiving kid, they prefer to keep to a small circle and not let many people get to close.
-Very protective of the other children (Gabe specifically), they’re everyone’s protector and the first one they go to when they need to be comforted.
-Had one friend growing up, her name was Seraphina Crowe (she was Fritz’s older sister), the Feitt’s and Crowe’s had been neighbors for years so their friendship just naturally blossomed.
Charlotte “Charlie” Emily / The Marionette
-May 13, 1972-May 13, 1983 (11 years old), nonbinary, they/them, American
-A natural born strange kid who loves to tell weird shit just to confuse others. In spite of their behavior they have a rather large circle of friends.
-They’d frequently gather scraps from their dad’s projects to try and come up with their own homemade animatronics (they never really made anything great but hey they had fun)
-Them and Cassidy are both highly protective of the kids, the two of them are highly aggressive to the staff who come around the other children due to their mistrust of adults.
-Always had headphones in when they were alive, they’re easily comforted by music.

the fatherhood theory:
my take on lip gallagher finding purpose in parenthood.
Tumblr media
First things first, I quickly want to congratulate the writers for beautifully articulating the accuracy of Lip's initial reaction to Freddy's birth.
Tami had an extremely complicated birth that resulted in her requiring surgery. Lip, both as a new father and as a boyfriend, was legitimately terrified. He couldn't decide if he should stay with Tami or their son. His thought process probably included the possibility of the mother of his child suffering, further trailing to the fear of fatherly absence. Naturally, considering Lip's lack of a genuine father figure, contributing anything remotely resembling neglect or failure to accommodate to his son feels like the worst and most unforgivable thing he could ever do.
Secondly, I want to say that although Tami is quite different compared to Lip's other love interests, I think she was relatively realistic at the time. She has drive and compassion, and Lip loves a good sarcastic girl who affectionately ridicules the guy she loves. She's abrasive in a way that is more meant to establish her intelligence rather than actually put others around her down. Tami is also terrible at accepting criticism, but doesn't respond in the explosive anger that Lip does. She's more passive aggressive than, well...aggressive aggressive. Even though it's not quite the healthiest, it's much more flexible than rage.
In short, Lip sees a lot of himself in Tami. But, she's a more put together, determined version of him. She's the star that Lip never really turned out to be, even if she's not absolutely perfect. Their relationship is accurate for the conditions of the show (and Lip's life.) Tami doesn't give Lip a lot of opportunities to self sabotage because she's pretty much dubbed herself the lead of their relationship.
(not ignoring the fact that she said he'd be a shitty father by the way. that crushed my soul and i'll never forgive her but that's besides the point.)
Having to decide to let professionals (doctors and nurses, who he notoriously does not trust (rooted by capitalistic healthcare environments and the need for independence due to his childhood trauma), try their best to help Tami when she was literally blue and unresponsive, was difficult and extremely scary.
However, once Freddy has been properly cleaned and prepared to be held by his father, Lip suddenly finds the answer to so many of his interpersonal questions.
"I seem to have ruined everything I was once good at. Is there anything I won't automatically ruin just because I don't think I deserve it?"
Fatherhood.
"Would I be any better at this than my parents were?"
Yes, with practice.
"Would I be able to break the cycle?"
Yes, with love.
"Is it necessary for me to feel so deeply about the world?
Yes. Even if it's painful.
"And was it ever worth hiding that with anger?"
To some extent, yes. You wanted to protect yourself.
"Am I, deep down, past my inevitable quickness to rage, a good person?"
Yes. You always have been.
In hindsight, his excitement for becoming a dad seems kind of obvious considering his overjoyed and emotional reaction. But I think we can dig deeper beyond this surface level impression. Even if it's genuine and ultimately very good at showing Lip's love for his son. Something that I think really prepared Lip for the complications of parenthood was the time period during his time as a college student taking care of Liam.
He'd been surrounded by family members for his entire life that he did not trust. When Fiona, his beacon of support throughout his whole childhoo despite their complicated sibling relationship, made such a grave mistake that reflected neglect, Lip felt unsafe. Both Frank and Monica were typical offenders of drug and alcohol abuse. And they regularly dabbled in allowing these substance issues to affect their children.
Now there was really nobody in his family he could trust. Lip would have to re-learn how to fend for himself and his family. He's had plenty of experience, but he had a support system. Even if it contained his own siblings who lived the same abusive life as he did. But now that he didn't trust anyone around Liam, he literally had to become his primary caregiver.
"You're the closest thing to a dad we've ever had," said Ian Gallagher.
Becoming Freddy's father was the love that Lip needed in his life. Girlfriends are replaceable. Lip has proven this. But he always believed that once you become a father, you do not have the right to back out. And he'd always hold himself to that standard.
This is your life now. Do it right, or go to hell.
People like Lip need to have people in their lives who unconditionally rely on them. His siblings have chosen many times (and rightfully of course) to handle personal matters without Lip's advice. He hasn't gotten to feel as needed or as important as he deserved to be. Having a child, though unexpected, was the missing piece to the endless puzzle that was his life's purpose.
Lip's desire to be a good father not only stemmed from the failure of his own parents, but the fact that guiding his siblings through life was the one thing that everyone around him that everyone was convinced he couldn't do better than anyone else. (Personally, I think Fiona did a great job as an older sister. I'm more speaking from the perspectives and opinions of his siblings.)
Lip will feel love for himself through Teddy. Once he can finally succeed for the long term, he will find peace.
Not to say that he's automatically perfect, because he's not (and no one else is), but he's ready to take on the challange.
Freddy is the love of Lip's life.
And he always will be.

Mike isn't sure exactly why he took this job. Maybe a haunted house based on Freddy's isn't exactly worth his time. That is, until he sees a familiar face during his shift.
——
Mike and Springtrap meet for the first time and it sucks lol. 3859 words, slight TW for references to child abuse/neglect and gore 👍
Read it on AO3!
——
Mike isn't really sure what he expected taking this job. Sure, a haunted house about Freddy's. Real respectful. It's probably not even going to help him get any evidence on his father. But the dude that hired him swore up and down they'd gotten "real authentic shit, y'know?" for the attraction. It's possible, he figures. Mike knows well enough about the teenagers that try to raid the closed Freddy's locations for proof the rumored murders really happened. He also knows well enough that if he hasn't been able to find any solid evidence yet, they definitely haven't. Maybe there isn't any evidence at all. Maybe he's just going crazy.
Sitting in the office now, Mike definitely feels crazy. This is a waste of time... The whole building feels like it's held together by glow-in-the-dark paint, duct tape, and good luck. The ventilation in here is awful. He can't go two seconds without something breaking. Night shifts are supposed to be easy, damn it.
What's worse, Mike finds himself hallucinating a lot more when he's here. When he complained about seeing stuff that wasn't actually there, his doctor handed him a slip of paper with a schizophrenia diagnosis and a prescription for antipsychotics. Mike brought the pills home, but didn't last long actually taking them. He knows whatever he's got, it's not a disorder. It's from that damn gas his dad used to love messing with when he was a kid. He'd inhaled enough of that garbage to probably give him permanent brain damage, he figures. And the stuffiness of this office often makes Mike feel like he's back home, breathing it in again. Whatever it is, his doctor wouldn't be happy about it.
Mike sighs, eyeing the new cassette left on his desk, labeled "Tuesday." His employers are way too committed to the retro thing– they can just call him or talk to him in person. Surely this is more work than it's worth, right? Whatever. He pops it into the player and hits play.
"Hey man– okay, I have some awesome news for you!" His employer's voice begins. "First of all, we found some vintage audio training cassettes. Dude, these are like pre-historic! I think they were, like, training tapes for, like, other employees or something like that. So I thought we could, like, have them playing, like, over the speakers as people walk through the attraction. Dude, that’d make this feel legit man." Mike groans. He isn't sure what's more annoying, this guy's voice, or the prospect of having to listen to Freddy's training tapes every night on loop.
"But," the voice continues, "I have an even better surprise for you, and you’re not gonna believe this! We found one. A real one." Mike furrows his brow hearing this. A real... what? There's no way it's what he thinks it is.
"Uhh, gotta go man. Look, i-it’s in there somewhere, I’m sure you’ll see it. Okay, I’ll leave you with some of this great audio that I found. Talk to you later man!" The casette goes quiet for a moment before a new track starts playing, one of the training tapes in question.
"Welcome to your new career as a performer-slash-entertainer for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. These tapes will provide you wi–" Mike stops the tape. He's not interested.
"What the fuck do you mean, 'a real one'?" He mutters to himself. He looks to the security monitor to his right. Everything looks exactly the same as it did yesterday and last week. Mike switches between cameras quickly but deliberately, scanning each room for discrepancies. There's no way they found a real animatronic, right? There's no way. They were all dismantled and scrapped. Mike knows they're haunted, or at least were at some point. Maybe if he can just find it on the cameras, he can assess if it's actually going to be a danger to him.
He clicks over to the last camera, eyes flicking around the screen. Nothing's different. Maybe he's freaking out over nothing.
But right as he clicks back to the start, Mike sees something move in the bottom left corner of the screen.
He clicks back over.
Nothing.
If there was anything, it's gone. And he's not sure there ever was anything. Maybe he's going crazy. Maybe he's just crazy. That'd be the most reassuring thing to learn, he figures.
Mike realizes his heart's beating at a mile a minute right now. He leans back in his chair, trying to breathe slower. He's just hallucinating, he tells himself. It's fine. He's fine. The panel to his left beeps, signaling the ventilation needs to be reset. See? He's just freaking out. He turns his attention to the panel, waiting the seconds it takes to reset the ventilation.
It doesn't take him long after this to settle back into the routine he's found in the few days since he started this job. Check the cameras idly, get spooked by something that isn't actually there, fix something that inevitably broke, repeat. He continues like this for about an hour, still somewhat puzzled by what he was told on the tape. Maybe he wasn't even referring to an animatronic– it could be anything, really. And these cameras are so grainy, it's not hard to miss something small.
Mike stares idly at the static on Camera 04, feeling like his mind is turning to fuzz, too. It definitely takes him too long to notice, but... there, on the left side of the screen. A pinprick of light that Mike knows for sure doesn't belong. Is that... an eye? It's dark, but he swears he can make out the right half of a head surrounding it. He blinks a few times, unsure if he's making it up, but the half-hidden face remains. And it looks like it's looking at him.
The panel beeps at him. Mike doesn't want to look away, but he does, resetting the ventilation once again. When he gets the chance to look back again, the face is gone.
"Sssshit," he hisses. "Shit. Shit." He clicks through the cameras again, trying to find the thing in here with him. It's too dark to recognize it easily, but the shape of the head seemed like an older mold. Even then, he's not really sure. He just wants to see it again. But there's nothing on the cameras that looks like it. He sighs, sitting back in his chair to refresh his eyes.
When he looks up at the window to his office, the animatronic is there. Staring at him.
Mike's blood runs so cold it damn near freezes over. He's paralyzed– all he can do is stare back. He recognizes this animatronic, or at least he thinks he does. It's so worn down now, but... it's Springbonnie. How could he ever forget Springbonnie...? His father's favorite.
The rabbit moves. It shifts its weight, then slowly starts to shamble to the left of the window. Mike doesn't know what to do– it's not like he's got a door to shut on the thing. He watches it appear in the doorway, using a hand to brace itself on the frame. It struggles to move, not unlike how Mike's seen the haunted animatronics move, but this feels different. It's not bound by its mechanics. But... the only way it'd move organically like this is if someone was inside.
Even if he's just being fucked with, he's not about to gamble on it. He'd much rather get laughed at for falling for it. He grabs a screwdriver from his desk, just in case he needs to defend himself against it. He presses himself up against the back of the chair he's in as the creature gets even closer, far too close. Like it's curious about him, too. It smells awful– like death and mold. From here, Mike can see clearly that it's not in costume mode. Tears and rips in the fabric expose its mech, which he wouldn't be able to see if it was in walk-around mode. He isn't sure what he's dealing with, but his heart is pounding so hard he's sure it can hear the sound too.
The rabbit puts its face mere inches from Mike's, and makes an odd noise, somewhere between a wheeze and a moan. Mike grips the armrests of his chair tightly, certain he's moments from death.
Then, with another wheeze, "...M... Michael," it says in his father's voice.
Mike doesn't wait for anything else to happen. Almost automatically, he springs out of his chair, pushing the thing over, and bolts for the door. He doesn't care what it is. It's not a hallucination. It's not an animatronic. It can't be his father. Please, don't let this be his father. It won't matter if he can just get out of here. Leave and never come back.
Mike hears the thud of footsteps behind him, still somewhat slow but much faster than before. He doesn't dare look back at it.
He refuses to lose speed as he whips around a corner, but he doesn't look where he's going– he crashes into a prop mannequin, bringing both tumbling to the floor. Mike scrambles to stand again, but he's not fast enough. The rabbit has caught up to him. He tries to take off again, but it grabs him by the wrist with an iron, mechanical grip. Mike strains against it, frantic, like a trapped animal, to no avail.
"Calm... down," the rabbit says sternly.
"No! No, you– You're not real!" Mike shouts, still struggling to escape.
"You're being...!" The rabbit stops to cough and wheeze some more, but the grasp he holds on Mike is unwavering. "Y– You're being ridiculous," he says finally.
"N- no, you–" Mike pulls again, and the rabbit presses his mechanical claws into his arm, just enough to hurt. Only now does he remember he's still holding the screwdriver. He swings it at the rabbit, unsure which parts of him are flesh over metal. He gets lucky, the metal tip landing in his upper arm and hurting him enough to let go of Mike. Mike takes this chance to tackle the rabbit, pinning him to the floor and wielding the screwdriver over him.
"You–!" The rabbit says. "Y– you won't kill me."
"Oh yeah? Give me one good reason I shouldn't stab you in the fucking throat right now!" Mike says, though the way he's trembling betrays his attempt at sounding menacing.
"Language," the rabbit says. "You won't kill me, b- because... I have information. I have... the answers you've been looking for." The way he speaks is labored. His voice is raw and tired, like he hasn't used it in ages, and he sounds continually out of breath. He sounds pained... Mike knows he's weaker now. Mike knows it would be easy to kill him in this state. But he also knows he's right. Everything Mike has been working toward has been for this– for information like this. Information enough to convict his father for the murders he knows he committed. Could they even convict him looking like this...?
"What happened to you?" Mike asks. That's never been what he'd envisioned asking his father.
"Take me back to your office," he says. "I'll talk there."
Mike's suspicious, but... an interrogation while he's still got him pinned to the floor isn't exactly comfortable for either of them. "Fine," he says, moving off of him. "You walk ahead of me."
"Scared?" the rabbit asks, a teasing tone in his voice. Mike doesn't grace it with a response. He watches him stand, then start to move back toward the office. He walks with a limp. Mike studies him from the back, trying to parse what's come of him. It's hard to tell where exactly the man ends and the machine begins. His hands and feet seem metal, but between the crossbeams and wires he can see in the torso, there's what looks like flesh inside. Old, rotted, disgusting flesh, but flesh nonetheless.
They re-enter his office, and Mike sits down in his chair. The rabbit finds a place to sit on the desk. Mike doesn't move his eyes from him for a second.
"What happened to you?" He asks again.
"I had a... lapse of judgement," his father says. "I couldn't get my mind off the old place... the pizzeria. I had left it standing all those years... I wanted to go back. Put... put an end to everything. I meant to dismantle the– the animatronics." Mike isn't sure how much of this is truth, but he lets him continue.
"This... old thing," he says, looking down at himself. "I'd almost forgotten about it. I just wanted to... put it on again. Old time's sake." He chuckles, it sounding just as terrible as the rest of him. "I'd forgotten safety protocol. It was old... wet, moldy."
"You–" Mike hadn't wanted to believe he'd springlocked himself, but that's exactly what he's telling him, isn't it?
"I know," he says. "What a fool I was."
"You didn't," Mike says. "There's no way."
"I did," he insists. "What would I gain from... lying to you about this?"
There's usually something– even if Mike doesn't know what it is. Regardless of how it happened, though, it's undeniable what's happened to begin with. He definitely got springlocked, whether by his own hand or someone else's. And these things usually were mistakes. He just never thought he'd... be so stupid about it. If anyone would remember how to avoid a gruesome death in one of those suits, it should be his father. What could've caused him to forget? There's something he's keeping from him, he's sure of it.
"If you were springlocked, you'd be dead," he says finally.
"But I'm still here," William says.
"How?"
The rabbit shifts in place, as if he's considering whether to tell Mike this. "I found it," he tells him. "The secret to eternal life."
"Bullshit," Mike blurts.
"Language," William says. "Don't act like... you don't want to know."
"Just tell me."
William sighs. "I call it Remnant," he says. "It's... a lot of explanation. It can bind a soul to metal. It can..." He tries to laugh again, doing slightly better this time. "...It can make a man immortal, Michael."
"Is that what you'd call yourself?"
"No," he says. "It's what I almost was. I had... been building up enough, still. But what was in me already was enough... enough to save me when this happened."
Mike studies him a moment longer before finally asking. "How much of you is even human anymore?"
William seems to ponder this for a moment before answering. "Does it matter much?" He responds. "I am more than human now. More than machine. I'm... something new. I am the two combined."
"But your body is still in there, isn't it?"
"I am not just the body. I am not just the suit. I'm not just the metal. I'm it all, Michael. All of it." He seems proud of this, proud of the monster he's become. At least he's finally got a look to match him.
"...All because of this Remnant stuff," Mike mutters. He wonders if, somehow, that's the reason the animatronics were haunted, too. Remnant kept their souls there. But how would he have made that happen? How long has been working on this?
"Last time I saw you, Michael, you were..." William trails off.
"I was seventeen," Mike finishes. His father had just disappeared one day. He was known to do that when Mike was younger– usually because he was out somewhere drinking. Some nights he'd come home late, or just not at all. But when the days began to pass without him, Mike left completely alone in the house... What else was he supposed to do?
"And now, how old are you?"
"...Fifty-two," Mike says. Thirty-five years had passed since they'd seen each other. After this long, Mike had begun to hope he'd just find his father dead. In a way, he has, he figures.
"Mm." William stares at him, and now Mike feels like he's the one being studied. "It's... been quite some time," he says. "You've grown up well."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Mike says.
"It means exactly what it seems it means," William says, a touch annoyed. Then, calming down again, "You're resilient. You're tough. You aren't a coward. Otherwise... you wouldn't be here. Would you?"
Mike says nothing.
"I raised you with the hope of you... becoming strong," he continues. "That, when life knocks you down, you don't stay down. I believe you're... Well, correct me if I'm wrong."
Mike doesn't know what he wants him to say. He glances the rabbit suit up and down, as if that'll somehow give him an answer. He's not going to "admit" to how great his father says he is, because it's clearly leading toward something. Going with it would just be walking directly into whatever trap he's planted. But denying it is an even more obvious fail-state.
"...Cat have your tongue, Michael?"
"No," Mike says finally. "What do you want?"
"What makes you think I... want something from you?" William asks.
"Why else would you be talking to me?" Mike says.
"Do you think I... I– I hold any sort of power like this?" William insists. "Look at me, Michael."
Mike's been looking at him. "You look awful," he says quietly.
"I've been down there for over thirty years," he says. "I lost the ability to track time. All I could... do was wait. Finally someone found me."
"To make a mockery of you." Mike can't stop himself from saying it. He rests an elbow on an armrest and uses his hand to cover his mouth, hiding the smile he also can't stop himself from.
William sighs. "It's... unfortunate. Yes."
Mike's never seen him look... dejected before. Not that he's exactly looking at his father right now, anyway. But still, as much as Mike hates to admit it, he looks genuine. Maybe he really is weaker like this.
"...Did it hurt?" Mike asks him.
The rabbit slowly lifts its head to Mike. "It still hurts," he admits. "This... is not the body I had planned to spend eternity in."
"So you are immortal," Mike says.
"I don't know the limits of it. But I went thirty years without food, water, much sleep... must count for something. I don't think I age... but there's not much way to tell."
Mike's weighing the possibility of killing him. He didn't seem that afraid of death when he'd been threatening him– but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't be killed. It just means he doesn't fear it. Mike still has half a mind to set this whole dump on fire with his father inside. It'd be so easy... electrical fires nearly start every night here anyway. He could let everything burn and rest with the knowledge that nothing inside would survive.
If he knew his father would die, at least.
"...Michael," William says, the silence between them too long now. "I... I've had time to sit with my regrets. There's more I wish I could have done... More I still need to do. I can't like this."
"Whatever it is, you can get it out of your system here," Mike says. He's expecting him to give some bullshit non-apology for the kind of father he was. Being touchy-feely one time, decades after he'd just disappeared one night, is never going to fix it. But Mike will let him say it, at the very least. It's not like it'll matter.
"I can't do it here," William says. "She's not here."
"...She?"
"Elizabeth," he tells him. "I still have to... go back for her."
Mike remembers the day Elizabeth died. Even now, he can easily recall the sight of her remains pouring out of Circus Baby's chest... the blood, the gore, the smell. The way he'd felt his whole body freeze over at the sight of it. The way his father had tried to save her, even thought it was clear she had long passed that point. The way he'd cried... the way both of them had cried. He could never forget losing her. Then... how could he talk about her like she's still alive?
"Where... where is she?" He asks, cautiously.
"Circus Baby's," William says.
Mike shakes his head. "She can't be." He'd visited the place again years ago, though still years after the incident. He had wanted to find Circus Baby there, thinking his sister might be possessing the robot– but the place was devoid of animatronics.
"Not the restaurant. She's in storage," William says. "The rental company... Only I ever knew where the storage was." He leans in toward Mike, as if they aren't the only two people here. "It's under the house. Always has been."
"Under...?"
The rabbit nods. "Our home," he says.
Mike had returned there too, years ago. He'd never thought, in a million years, that there'd be anything more than bad memories there. He'd never thought he'd have passed over something so important... so close, and yet so far from seeing his sister again– even if she wasn't quite herself.
"I can show you how to get there," William tells him. "I need you to do it, Michael. You're the only one who could."
"Wh– why me?"
"You're family," he says. "You're the only one I trust."
Mike feels something deep inside him stir upon hearing that. He exhales.
"Is she...?" He starts. "Is she... in Baby?"
"She must be," William says. "You need to find her. You need to set her free."
Set her free... It's something Mike's been trying to do with the other possessed animatronics for years. Put their souls to rest. But they've all been so... uncooperative. Animalistic. Maybe their programming had interfered with their true personalities. He should expect it to be the same with Elizabeth, then, but... She's family. She would have to recognize him eventually. That's why he has to be the one to do it, isn't it? She wouldn't trust anyone else. She needs him.
"I..." Mike feels that same deep ache inside him. He misses her, he realizes. He's missed her terribly. And now, he can see her again– and save her. "...I'll do it," he says finally. "Show me how to find her."
The rabbit finally leans back again, laughing. "Good," he says. "Don't let me down, Michael."
"I... I wont." Mike isn't sure this is the right choice to make. He can't shake the feeling he's being pulled into something bigger than him. But how could his father have planned something for this long if he's been stuck in this state for thirty years? And how could he miss his only chance to see his sister again– especially knowing that she's been just as stuck for just as long? How could he not want to help her?
He still wants to burn this place down with his father inside. He will soon, he tells himself. Once he saves Elizabeth, then he can come back here, and put an end to everything.
He just hopes he'll make it back here at all.

I always wondered do you and Bonnie have matching earring to resemble your friendship as best friends?
Hey it's Monty. I can answer this one!
Those are wedding rings! They tricked the people in charge according to Windy, a little rebrand to help strengthen the nostalgic ties of a Freddy and a Bonnie.
I even did the ceremony on the Roxy raceway track when a power outage took out the cameras in there.
And...I did another one like 7 months later! They were so excited as if they hadn't already been married before.
I'm not sure how many times you're supposed to get married, but then again I have heard of vow renewal so maybe it's that. I'm not the smartest guy around, but I got a good memory.
The band, or the old band? So forgetful. Not me, I remember everything. One time, Bonnie asked me a really weird question, he asked how long we'd all been working. Its been about three-four years depending on how you count it. He was sure we'd only been around for a year or two. He kept mixing up what happened one year with what happened in another. It was a little scary since it sounded like all of them thought like that. Freddy knew we'd done two years, but he got all mixed up too.
Chica was so mixed up that she didn't even know about fazmas until I reminded her. Poor girl, everyone calls her stupid but it's not her fault. She just has a really bad memory.
Anyways,
Those two have proposed to each other at least 5 times that I heard about. It's so cute.
Me, I'm not much of a dater gator, I like family love more than the kissy date kind. I'm more of a spend the night or eat with the family type.
But watching those two fall in love again and again is pretty entertaining. It's like they'll never get tired of it.
I mean I hope Freddy knows he's married, that's not something you forget right? I can see him losing track of plenty of things, especially things we talked about. I wasn't too important.
But from what I've seen from the parents, you don't forget you're a married man. Or you shouldn't. Well, they don't talk about it anyways. I'm not allowed to tell anyone about their marriage.
But I figure you're his kids, you can know who your Papa is married too.
Bonnie would be an interesting dad. Guess I'll find out what he's like as a father when he gets back and joins Freddy with this whole internet family.
I had a present planned for the two of them, hope he's back soon.
Bonnie was forgetful too.
They all are. Now that I'm talking to em all every day it's starting to get a little scary.
I remember everything. I wish they'd ask me about it. I wish I could talk about it.

Merry Christmas Sea!!
When I was a Larrie I remember Christmas 2021 when all my mutuals wrote paragraphs and paragraphs about the "stunt" "babygate" and how they felt triggered (!!!!!!!!!!!) by Freddie's presence among Louis' family! The things I read about someone that's only a kid and about Louis from his supposed fans! In Christmas! They were "supporting each other" because he was there! Grow up women acting like that, I have no words to describe how crazy it seems to me now.
Thank God now I see it with other eyes and I realized how crazy and unhealthy that behavior is. I remember that no one could even say that he was cute. Nowadays it makes me so happy that Louis can spend time with him because it's Louis' life and because I think about the emotion he had in the first show where Freddie was present and I think about how happy he must be now and it just fills my heart with happiness! I want Louis forever happy! He deserves it.
I still see the comments that Larries leave for Louis' family and it disgusts me and the way they talk about Freddie online and how they harass Louis makes me even more disgusted and repulsed and I just hope that Louis doesn't actually read everything that.
Hello!
Louis’ life is Louis’ life. For the most part, Louis keeps his personal life fairly private from his fans— he’s had enough turmoil. I think he has tried without success to control the public discussion, sometimes with awkwardness, but 90% of the time it backfires. Now Louis simply withdraws from that area of fandom life. He’s not in family pictures and he presents only what he can control. In the end, Louis is a musician, not an influencer, and he doesn’t make his living selling his lifestyle. He used to be openly critical of the Kardashians, but that’s the model his sisters aspire to, and they’ve become wealthy that way. So … life goes on, I guess.
The family is famous-adjacent, and the public is really interested in gossip about them. Louis is caught between wanting to protect his privacy (and mental health) and wanting to support his family’s lifestyle. He’s in the strange position of being the moneymaker / parent-figure of the whole clan, but also having no real say about their public conduct, except to limit the extent they use him in their influencing activities. I don’t mean just his sisters either.
For the most part, Louis is able to enjoy his private life in peace now, and we can see that the family really enjoys their time together. After all these years, they seem to have arrived at a point of stability in some ways. It has been a complicated life. In many ways, it’s fascinating (which is why fans and the general public can’t look away), but Louis and Freddie both seem to be happy. That’s the important thing for them going forward, especially since Freddie is growing older and starting to understand his father and mother and the crazy internet culture around them (not the least since nothing about Freddie has been protected from day one— from all sides. Louis himself contributes to the curiosity about his own son. I do not exempt him). Louis has always treated family above anything else in his life. That’s one thing that will never change.

Explaining FNAF: Hurricane Pt. 1: Before the Storm
Having special interests in FNAF and human nature (especially its oddities) can apparently have adverse effects on a subject. The subject being me.
(Warning, there's a lot)
I have autism, the kind where I get super invested in a niche and can never let it go for just about years on end. My niche is William Afton and his family which has been combined with my trivial knowledge of mental health, mental conditions, neurodivergence, history, storytelling, psychology, etc. to create this conglomerate clusterfuck that is the Hurricane AU.
The alternate universe at its core focuses on the father-son dynamic between Michael and his father William. There are six parts to the Afton Family arc:
Wild Cat
Before the Storm
Blood, Sweat, and Tears
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria
Freddy's Emporium
and Reunion
I'll infodump about Before the Storm because that's the first one I mentally created and what I have the most art of.
The lore aspect of FNAF isn't apparent at the moment, that will come later on after the characters are properly introduced with all of their flaws, quirks, positives, negatives, and before the catalyst of the whole plot kicks off, starting from 1980 and ending in 1983. This introduction/rising action section has been dubbed what it is called because Hurricane, Utah and I'm a smartass.
Everything in the Hurricane AU happens very slowly at first and when it kicks off, it shoots like a fucking rocket. It's the small details that have the biggest impact for this first section in order for the rest of the story to make sense, especially why things happen the way they do.
Let me introduce you to the family,
Michael Afton:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, yeah, he's a teenager. Cocky, argumentative, confrontational, and the main character of the entire AU. Before the Storm follows him through his upper teenage years: 15 - 18 (fifteen to eighteen). This guy can fit so much resentment in him. He's also inherently kind, artistic, and stubborn in both a good way and a bad one. His mom left with his baby sister when he was thirteen (13) years old and noticeably hasn't been the same since then. Highly embarrassed of what's left of his family (especially his effeminate, odd, and immature father) plus lack of at-home attention has led to a lot of stunts. He's by no means a hateful person, but he doesn't have the ability to express his unhappiness in a proactive way.
Evan Afton:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A rambunctious elementary school kid. As Michael's kid brother, it's his duty to annoy the shit out of him, and as William's middle child, make him fear for his son's life at times. He isn't careful, so accidents happen a lot with him, see the road rash scars on face, arm, and leg. Through his section he's 7 - 10 (seven to ten) years old, and deals a lot with school, peer, and at-home stress, but he's a generally happy child. He isn't without his quirks, Evan is loud, mean, destructive, and likes to deal with his problems very physically (he's a fighter). Evan deals with night terrors every so often, has some twitches and tics, and by god does he have a temper.
Elizabeth Afton:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lizzie is far more used to privilege and a quiet home, coming from an estate in London, living with her mother for the six (6) years of her life, but the first summer over to Utah in 1980 led to the interesting discovery that she could be loud, messy, and by her mother's terms, 'un-ladylike'. She provides an outside perspective into a household that has music constantly playing, an argument or fight always happening, and a mess somewhere. She's highly energetic, imaginative, and friendly. Michael had no problem sharing his loud and argumentative nature with her, making her a handful when she comes around.
And William Afton:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Co-owner of Fredbear's Family Diner and Fazbear Entertainment immigrated from London, William has a lot of loves: his children, Henry and his mind, creating whatever he can figure out, and rabbits to name a few. He feels everything with a fierce intensity, and he'll express the intensity. That's typically where problems arise. Especially between him and Michael. Their arguments are usually about not understanding the other. William is a troubled individual, but he does his best to make good choices, but he slips in his decision-making very often. He's chaotic, spiteful, intelligent, energetic, and kinda funny to watch per Michael and Henry's fair opinion. He's fairly young, 32 (thirty-two) years old circa 1980, and at times, acts like a child himself.
Before the Storm has a soap opera feel because the main plot hasn't started, but there's still a lot of backstories to explore and character dynamics to introduce before they're whiplashed by tragedy. The section is treated as a control for what is going to change in on-coming parts. I also just wanted something that felt good with all of the rest being angst.
A tragedy as big as losing a child can take over lives, (especially in a sudden accident) and the family in Before the Storm are the lives that it took. So, this part is an inside view into what exactly was lost.
Feel free to ask me questions; encouraged, really, I love to talk about it. A lot.

The Eclipse, Blood Moon, And Harvest Moon Show
Pairings: DJ Music Man/Blood Moon, Glamrock Bonnie/Harvest Moon
Word Count: 1,280 Words
Summary: Eclipse is rushing to finish everything, they get themself hurt in the process.
Warnings: Overworking, Injury, Cursing, Abuse, Anxiety Attack, let me know if I should add anything else.
Chapter 2: Eclipse Gets Hurt In VR Chat
“Welcome to the Eclipse, Blood Moon, and Harvest Moon Show. Or, just the Eclipse Show today, I guess. I’m working on something today and the twins are busy out with KC again so I don’t know if any of you are even interested in this but I’m welding and stuff so careful for anybody with seizures.”
“I’ve picked out all the ones meant for me and I’m going to have the computer read them to me and I’ll respond to comments and questions while I work because my father will be upset if I don’t finish soon.” Eclipse opened. They set up the play feature in his internal computer system connected to the computer recording them work across the room.
“‘Eclipse, what changed? Why are you acting nice?’” They paused the play feature, putting the next part into place.
“Honestly, I just don’t want to be how I was anymore. I was so angry and now I just want to change. I want to be better. I want to make it up to them, I do. I started with the twins, they know now they aren’t a mistake to me, and I shouldn’t have said they were. I want to apologize to Moon next, hopefully. I know I can’t apologize to Sun or Lunar yet. Both of them are still too angry with me. But I may have a chance with Moon.” They pressed play as they set the welder to attach the part they’d been holding in place and winced at their fingers getting some of the superheating metal and shook them.
“‘Eclipse, what pronouns are comfortable for you?’” He paused it.
“They/them today. Gender feels neutral today.” They stuck their hand into the awaiting water basin after the superheated metal was over to keep their hand from melting into the casing while pressing play.
“‘What is your favorite cake flavor?’” They paused.
“Uh, the only cake I’ve tried is the Matcha Moondrop cake at the PizzaPlex. It was okay, I guess. Not big on that flavor, I guess. I’d have to try more flavors to figure it out.”
Eclipse held the next plate of casing and set the welder to go, wincing again when it superheated their fingers again. They pressed play as they put their hand into the water again.
“‘Eclipse, do you actually like chocolate?’” They paused it.
“No, I think I like caramel more but Freddy’s ice cream sucked less than Monty’s Gator Swirl.” They set the next plate to be welded and winced at their fingers again. The superheating was hurting their joints and causing their own casing to mold oddly but they could replace casing on themself. Unpause.
“‘Question, Eclipse, do you like stuffed animals?’” Pause, set their hand in water again.
“I guess. I’ve never had one so, I don’t know. They’ve always been more Lunar’s thing than mine but I guess they’re cute.” They shrugged, holding the next plate and unpausing.
“‘Eclipse, what is Kill Code having you work on?’” They set the welder and held back the wince to answer.
“Mainly on this. He wants a non sentient bot and he has me working on it constantly. The AI is done, but the body isn’t, clearly. I don’t know why he wants it, but he’s having me do it anyway.” They shook their hand and put it in water again. It was really hurting now. Their joints weren’t meant to be superheated. Unpause.
“‘Hey, Eclipse, what’s the first thing you remember from turning on?’” Pause.
“I remember being alone. I woke up alone and Sun was talking. He didn’t know I was there yet, I didn’t even know I was there yet. But Moon was talking about his kill code. I think it was diagnostics with maintenance. I’m not quite sure why, but I felt abandoned, like he left me there. And I was angry that I was left behind because I didn’t understand yet why he’d left me behind.” They held the next plate of arm casing and set the welder while they listened to the next question.
“‘Eclipse, who’s your favorite sibling?’” Pause.
“I don’t pick favorites.” They gasped feeling the welder get their finger. Tearing it from the plate before it could become welded in and held it into the water.
“Fuck!” They cursed. “Sorry.” They apologized to the viewers. “Don’t say fuck, kids.” Eclipse chastised as they held their hand close. Shit, the metal was melted. But KC wanted this bot. And they were threatened with their life to finish quickly. They held the next plate much more carefully than the last. Unpause.
“‘What’s your favorite song, Eclipse?’” Pause.
“Unsaid Emily by Charlie Gillespie. It reminds me of Lu-FUCK!” They couldn’t move their hand, the joints were stuck after the superheating and their casing was melting onto the plating. The water couldn’t help, it would get their circuits.
They held their hand close, cradling the nonfunctional limb. And that was the exact second KC came back with the twins.
“You haven’t finished. I gave you until I came back.” KC growled.
“I’m almost done, just the arm. I’m almost done.” They promised.
“Son, you know I gave you a deadline and you disobeyed my command.” KC closed his hand around their neck and Eclipse choked despite not needing their artificial breath in the first place. KC’s foot came to their left knee as it pressed to the table.
“You deserve this for disobeying me, son.” KC’s foot reeled back a bit and kicked their knee into the table, warnings blaring into their eyes and Eclipse fell to the floor upon release. They held their now broken knee joint. It wasn’t simply dislocated, the joint was torn apart internally and they couldn’t operate on it themself.
The twins stood horrified in the doorway, seemingly frozen as KC left and then they rushed forward for their sibling on the ground once KC was out of the base.
“Just breathe. It’s okay. Is it broken?” Harvest asked.
“It’s torn, I can’t fix it. You two can’t fix it, I need a new joint.” Eclipse winced holding their leg with their right hand, their good hand.
“Your hand!” Harvest noticed their hand still cradling to their chest.
“The plates had to be superheated and the welder kept getting me. Fuck, my knee.” They winced as their knee moved. “I can’t move it, it hurts.” Eclipse admitted.
“I’ll carry you then. You need to go to bed.” Harvest told them.
“I have to finish. He’ll be angry, I can’t…I can’t…” The world felt too tiny, dissolving to a pinprick and they felt tears bubble up against their own will.
“Breathe, in.” Harvest guided them and Eclipse struggled a breath, but couldn’t hold it. They choked and it came out as a sob, making Harvest Moon hold their faceplate gently and wipe the tears off that Eclipse hadn’t known were there.
“It’s okay. You’re safe, he’s gone. Let it out.” Harvest assured them and Eclipse choked another sob before devolving against Harvest’s shoulder in tears. Harvest rubbed their back and held them close, though not moving their torn knee and avoiding their hurt hand.
Once Eclipse had cried themself out, they were exhausted, resting against Harvest as they rubbed the older bot’s back gently and held them against their shoulder.
“Just breathe, you’re safe now, we’ll get you fixed, okay?” Harvest promised. Eclipse buried into their shoulder, falling asleep and unknowingly posting the video that had been recording up to that point. Harvest carefully gathered their sibling up into their arms and carried them off to bed, making a few calls around to see who could work on Eclipse’s knee and hand.

🐺 General Audiences
🐺 2k Words
🐺 Written for the @fnafchibizine!
‘Happy Birthday, Cassie!’
The lopsided cursive writing made of icing dripped from one side of the chocolate cake, making it appear soggy and unappetizing from any and all angles. Its candles having burnt out hours ago didn't help the case either, but that was okay.
It wasn't like Cassie felt like eating a whole cake on her own.
“Man, did I get the wrong memo? Didn't know we were doing a funeral today.”
FNAF? In MY account? More likely than you'd think! 🤭 Hey everyone! Alice here! Today I come with another special piece written for a zine: The FNAF Chibi Zine, to be precise! 💖
I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do for a cutesy project like this one in writing form, but then it hit me that I could get away with adorable goofiness and kids getting to be kids (the calm before the storm ig lol)
Something I've wanted to do was explore Cassie and Gregory's relationship, so that's exactly what I decided to go with! This can be seen as either platonic or romantic, tbh. I just love me these babies (even if Greg is possibly an evil psychopath 🙃).
You can also download it for free so consider checking the official account!

Cassie had never been particularly interested in video games.
At school, it was one of the things that separated her from the rest of her classmates in the social hierarchy, with everyone always showing off their newest consoles or big hit releases. As if she didn't need more help in sticking out like a sore thumb.
Despite owning a pretty decent handful of games, she was never the competitive type, so she didn't pay much attention to them—but that all changed one day when her father got a new job in the city as an engineer for the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex.
The man would pick her up after last period, and together they'd head over to the massive hall attraction, where Cassie was free to roam around wherever she pleased while the adults got to work. A few of the other employees’ children would be there too. She tried to befriend them at first, but eventually stopped once she realized they would laugh and talk behind her back.
That's when the Arcade Cabinets came into play.
With the restaurant’s powerful 80’s aesthetic, it was no surprise to see an area dedicated to these gaming devices from an older time. Once she'd explored every inch of the building and none of the animatronics were available to spend time with her, Cassie figured she'd give these guys a shot.
To say she enjoyed them would be an understatement.
Before she knew it, the brunette would find herself wandering into the gaming area more and more frequently, going from one cabinet to the next to try and figure out which one she liked best. It was surprisingly ‘Balloon World’, despite her complaints of not finding a single Roxy themed arcade cabinet.
And even though she was having so much fun, there was something that slightly piqued her interest.
At first she didn't even notice it, but after constant playthroughs of the same games, Cassie saw a pattern in all of them—they all had the same acronym as the top score player. Curious to know if this was a factory defect, she went looking into other games, even ones she didn't normally play, only to keep finding the same name over and over.
“GGY…” She mumbled the three letters as she placed her palm against the joystick of Princess Quest. For someone to have the high score in not just one, but all the games in the arcade, they'd have to have been playing here for a very long time. And yet, Cassie was never with more than a few kids at a time in this area, and rarely did she see them again unless it was weeks afterwards.
So now, only one question plagued her mind every time she walked into the building—who was this mysterious ‘GGY’?
Tumblr media
Two hours.
That's how long Cassie had been waiting to play Midnight Motorist.
When she arrived at the Pizzaplex earlier that day, she'd planned on trying to beat her previous record, only to find a boy she'd never seen before already there. Usually she wouldn't mind this, after all it was a public place and many kids spent their time here too. It wasn't the first time someone was playing in a cabinet before her.
For them to take two hours playing in said cabinet however, was a different story.
“Um, excuse me?” Cassie dared to take a chance, gently tapping the boy's shoulder in order to get his attention. “Are you almost done?”
“Ugh! Wait your turn, will you?” The boy immediately flinched away from her touch, and was almost startled out of the track in-game yet was quick to steer himself back in the right direction. Never once did he take his eyes off the screen to acknowledge her.
This annoyed her slightly. “I have been waiting. You've been playing for hours! And I should know; I went to go see Roxy's performance as soon as I got here and you're still here!”
The boy seemed to share her annoyance, but something told her it wasn't for the same reason. “Who cares? I was here first, so don't get in the- wait no, no, no! Dang it!”
Undoubtedly thanks to her meddling, the car on screen crashed against one of the obstacles, causing an instant ‘Game Over’ to appear. Yet despite that, Cassie couldn't help but notice that the boy still managed to beat the previous high score, which only made her wonder how much longer he would've lasted here if she hadn't said anything.
In reluctant grumbles, the boy started writing his initials on the scoreboard. Cassie didn't even bother listening to what he was saying once she saw the familiar letters that were scattered all over the arcade.
“Ya know? You're lucky I don't have any more tokens on me, cause I'd definitely keep playing if I did! I was about to get to the secret level before you—” The boy's rambles were quickly cut short by the brunette's gasp.
Her expression quickly morphed into that of awe as she invaded the boy's personal bubble, causing him to back up again the cabinet with a look of confusion on his face. “You're ‘GGY’?! Oh my God, I've been dying to meet you, I'm a huge fan! I'm Cassie!”
The mystery of GGY was something that started eating at her for a while now, so getting to meet the face behind the name was incredibly exciting, even if said face belonged to a boy who was somewhat rude at first meeting.
It was only now that they were face to face that Cassie got to have a good look at him—He had shaggy brown hair, a blue striped shirt, and khaki shorts that exposed legs covered in bandages. He also appeared to be around her age, yet still, he was completely unfamiliar to her.
Sure, Cassie didn't know every kid that frequented the Pizzaplex, but she had a fair idea of the usual guests considering this was the place she spent most of her time at, perhaps even more than her own home. Maybe he just moved into town?
“It would explain his terrible social skills…” The girl mused to herself, still waiting on the other's reply.
He seemed to be stuck between being mad and confused, cornered like a wild animal not knowing how to respond to the interaction. Honestly she couldn't blame him—her dad always said she gave off a strong aura, which some people might find too invasive.
The mystery boy didn't seem to think so though, as he finally decided to snap back into reality and started pondering her question. He rubbed at the back of his neck and avoided eye contact, but Cassie didn't mind at all.
A faint blush spread across his cheeks as the boy averted his gaze in what was unmistakably fake annoyance. “I-I'm… Gregory.”
Cassie couldn't help but smile. She had a feeling this boy was going to be interesting to hang out with. “Nice to meet you, Gregory!”
Tumblr media
‘Happy Birthday, Cassie!’
The lopsided cursive writing made of icing dripped from one side of the chocolate cake, making it appear soggy and unappetizing from any and all angles. Its candles having burnt out hours ago didn't help the case either, but that was okay—it wasn't like Cassie felt like eating a whole cake on her own.
Party decorations were plastered all over the walls of the empty room, with everything from balloons to streamers to confetti, and yet none of it made the sight seem any less depressing.
After all, what could be sadder than a little girl celebrating her birthday all alone?
Roxy had been there with her the first few hours, giving her hope that her classmates were probably just running late or maybe got distracted by the ball pit and arcade games on the way. “They'll be here any minute!” Roxy had said.
But when the minutes turned into hours, there was nothing left in the brunette’s heart other than pain. As the tears rolled down her cheeks, messing up the awesome make-up Roxy had done for her earlier that day, Cassie couldn't contain the soft hiccups escaping her lips, no matter how hard she tried.
“Man, did I get the wrong memo? Didn't know we were doing a funeral today.”
That voice was one Cassie had grown accustomed to when coming to the Pizzaplex. It would usually bring both joy and annoyance with it, yet this time she felt nothing but shame as she buried her face deeper into the cocoon of her smeared sweater. “Why are you here, Greg?”
Cassie could hear Gregory's footsteps as he made his way around the food table and towards her. The sound of rustling paper and shuffling could be heard before she felt a tap on her shoulder. Tentatively lifting her gaze, she was surprised to be greeted by both a napkin and a flustered looking Gregory.
The boy coughed into his empty hand as he motioned the napkin in her direction. “What do you mean? You think I'd miss my friend's birthday party? Sorry I'm late. Had to get your present ready…”
That's when she saw it—a small paper gift bag resting on the table in front of them. It had a tag attached to it with Gregory's name on it, albeit rather clumsily written.
Cassie didn't have time to react before her friend decided to take initiative and start wiping the streaks of mascara running down her cheeks. He gently dabbed her eyelids too, trying to get rid of as many tears as possible as he kept talking. “I wouldn't get my hopes up though. I won it at the prize counter a few weeks ago cause it reminded me of you, and your birthday just happened to be coming up so… yeah. Sorry if it's kinda lame.”
Finally getting a hold of the napkin Gregory was using, Cassie blew her nose into the piece of paper as she felt more tears starting to build in the back of her eyes.
She knew he was an orphan, and didn't have any money to his name, so of course getting her something from the Pizzaplex would be the best solution. But just the idea of him playing games and spending all of his tickets just to get her this gift, was more than enough to warm her heart even if he didn't think it was worth getting worked up over.
Which was why she was quick to grab the bag and open it up right then and there despite Gregory's protests.
Inside, nestled between some stray pieces of confetti, was an adorable Roxy-Talkie. She'd been eyeing it on the prize counter for a while now, so maybe she wasn't so subtle about it and the boy was quick to notice her interest.
A soft beep broke her out of her thoughts, causing her to turn and find a smug looking Gregory holding a Freddy-Talkie. His voice echoed on both her right ear and the Roxy-Talkie's speaker. “This is Captain Gregory speaking. Lieutenant Cassandra, do you copy? Over.”
Rolling her eyes at the use of her full name, she pressed the button to reply in feign annoyance. “I copy Captain Doofus, over and out.”
“Hey! Is that any way to treat someone who didn't just get you a present, but also went out of their way to get a matching one for themselves?” Gregory's voice rose in pitch and all Cassie could do was giggle in reply.
“I mean, let's be real. You got one just to annoy me.”
“So what if I did? That's proof that I care, Lieutenant.”
“Oh, finally! A guest!” Roxy walked into the room at the perfect time, looking at the duo of children with a delighted smile gracing her robotic muzzle. She turned to address Gregory. “Welcome to the coolest, most badass birthday party of your life! Not just because I'm here, but you also get to hang out with my best friend Cassie!”
The boy simply stared with a pointed look. “Are all these robots such suck ups?”
“Hey! That's Roxanne Wolf you're talking to! Plus she's right—it's my birthday! So if anyone gets to be a Captain, it's me.” Cassie smirked in the boy's direction, trying her best to look as cool as possible despite all of the crying she'd done mere minutes ago.
Gregory chuckled, but didn't protest. Instead he returned the grin as he stuffed his hands into his pockets. “As long as I get free cake, you can do whatever you want, dweeb.”
He ran away before the brunette could even react, already by the sweets table with Roxy close behind him. Still, she couldn't contain the smile from spreading across her face as she watched his excited form.
Maybe no one else showed up, but the person who truly mattered did.
And that was more than enough in her book.

Nothing spooky happening here just nice chill times at the mall!
It had been hard to disguise Charlie. Mike had had to give up his hoodie And an extra pair of sweatpants. Is that along with Some of Elizabeth's extra clothes and Charlie contorting to fit it all She almost looked like a normal person... Luckily the mall was filled to the gills so people didn't seem to Concerned with Spindly limbed Person and the boy that looked like he was about to fall over dead.. Elizabeth pulled them all over to the arcade. It was dark being mostly lit by neon lights Michael didn't know if it disguised him and Charlie better or if it made them look more like something out of a horror movie. Elizabeth immediately pulled Charlie to the 2 person shooter game. Elizabeth's favorites were the 2 person shooters it was usually Michael and Her but Michael was fine with sitting this one out. He still didn't completely trust Charlie of course but she hadn't done anything to hurt him and he partly understood why she would have thought lying about Evan would've been a good idea. Michael settled on Some weird Bear game. Even though he didn't understand British money it seemed to be cheap enough. The game was simple just a nice normal platformer.. Mike was good at video games. Before Henry had rigged the cabinets at Freddy's after hours so you didn't need to spend any money Michael could have played for Days if William hadn't pulled him back to reality every time. Afterwards Mike had figured out Henry's tricks he used it so Elizabeth and him could Play until they forgot about dad and all the other horrible things..
In the game he walked into what was a small pixelated Cavern he moved the joystick around looking for some kind of weapon or enemy to fight. All he found was a weird golden blob that kind of looked like a bear's head. He pressed on it. "Boo!!"Michael jump back in fear. Cassidy's face smiled on the arcade tablet screen pixelated but with the same malice as when he had seen her in the dream. "Finally I found you Fox boy, You know it would be helpful if you and you're idiot little #%$@@ walked near something I could possess for once!" "Can you shut up someone might hear you!!" Michael looked around the arcade everyone was too busy to notice him talking to an arcade machine."Don't worry Night of the living dead I'm not really here I'm just in your head! Thought it would be funny to appear on this little arcade cabinet!" "Look I don't want to deal with you or anything! Right now I just want to play this weird game and pretend like everything's fine for just a couple minutes!" Mike barely kept his anger He just wanted a couple minutes of near normal sea was that so hard?? "Can you keep it down Brain muncher? I might just be Spiritually projecting into your head but everyone here can see You being an absolute @$$%#" Go try to calm himself down there was no point getting mad at her... "Why are you here and is Evan with you?" Michael said staring at the screen pretending to continue playing the game so people wouldn't think he was completely insane "Probably not. last time I checked he was doing a some spying on your dear old dad.. Why I'm here? to tell you something Evan sent me trust me if I didn't still owe him for- Something you don't have to know about.. I wouldn't give a @@#$% About telling you anything.." Mike's blood ran cold. "What do you want to tell me?" "You're out of the crazy town now Which is good for your bodily health but bad for me.. But That particular ballora recolor comes with a couple friends... Usually those idiots stay patrolling around the outside of that death town.. But you're a special case"
that's a long one! There's a lot where you could take this I'm interested to see what you do! You are truly random Tumblr user
“Of course…” Mike groaned in frustration, running a hand down his face. Their father had barely paid attention to them for years and only now is putting all this effort to reunite with them because he wanted to experiment on them. Glancing back at the game screen and Cassidy’s pixilated image, Mike asked, “I don’t you suppose you have any advice on how to take them down when they inevitably catch up to us? Like any weak spots?”

WIP title game! I was tagged by @ereborne!
RULES: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPs.
the list of things I've left unfinished is short, so I'll include a snippet with each one. it's also 85% mcdanno lmao.
Give Me a Memory I Can Use (McDanno, finale fix-it)
“Hey, Steve?” He looks down to see her smiling. “Be happy.” He returns her smile. “Hey Cath?” “Yeah?” “I think it’s my turn to walk away.” This time she grins. “I think so too.” So he pulls his bag from the bin, and does.
Share the Scars From Our Abandon (Person of Interest/Rinch, post-series)
Night after night he reaches out for something, anything, to soothe the ever-present ache under his ribs, the one that calls to him when the sun goes down, reminds him that he has family, love, a home somewhere out there, wishing he were in it right now, if only he’d seek it out. The one that reminds him that human connection does not have to be a foreign concept any longer, that it is instead a patchwork quilt of messy, complicated, beautiful people to call his, the place where he drops anchor and floats steady. His body, so broken in so many ways, can now recall a touch that does not hurt, the smell of fresh brewed coffee and old books, the sound of a heart that beats in time with his own.
Untitled Finale Fix-it #2 (McDanno)
His buddy introduces him to the group, since he's apparently a legend. He talks about his life post-SEALs. Later his friend would learn Steve hadn't retired but had been medically discharged. "Got shot. A lot," he says. "Needed a liver transplant." "How did you get one that fast? Anyone with half a brain cell could figure out those odds, factoring in the fact that you were on an island." And then he tells him about Danny, and the plane, that he'd saved Steve's life more than once that day. "Fuck." Steve laughs. "Pretty much."
super rough jotted down ideas for Ace!Henry FirstPrince (RWRB)
They do talk about how to navigate physical intimacy. Henry loves touch, craves it, wants to be wrapped up in and around Alex as often as possible, his breathing slowing to match the steady rhythm of Alex's heart under his cheek as they cuddle in bed. Holding hands, carding his fingers through Alex's hair, always touching touching touching. That's never been his problem. It's everything that's supposed to come after that gives him pause.
5+1 play on the practice of kintsugi (McDanno)
Three days later he listens to his father die over the phone. his whole team is dead, Anton Hesse is dead, everyone is dead. Freddie died and it was all for nothing. Freddie, the keeper of Steve's darkest secrets, the person who kept him tethered to the real world when all he'd wanted to do was fly apart, had sacrificed it all just to be given oblivion. A piece of Steve's heart is anchored somewhere in the middle of a North Korean jungle. He could give you the exact coordinates, but he won't. He doesn't want it back.
Can You Do It? (You Bet Jurassican) (buddie velocipastor au) (if you haven't watched the movie this will make less than zero sense)
No, Eddie Diaz - father, firefighter, combat veteran, boyfriend to an actual fucking dinosaur - is wearing a stretchy orange dress that, after he gets it all the way down, barely hits mid-thigh. Before he has a chance to pull it off and look for literally anything else, Buck comes around the corner and stops in his tracks. “Jinkies.” “Fuck you.” Buck gives him a quick look up and down and shrugs. “Fine with me. If I’m being honest Velma always lowkey gave me top vibes.” And that’s a discussion he’s not touching. “You’re an idiot and I hate everything you choose to be.” “Now that’s a lie and we both know it,” he replies.
no one has to participate, but if you do please tag me!

Five Nights at Freddy's: Obsolete, Night 4: Help Wanted
Tumblr media
''Can you hear me, I- I've been calling to you. Don't fall astray, I can show you what I'm hiding. I can tell you anything you wanna know. I could take you right to where you wanna go. Hide yourself behind a mask even though you're so reluctant. Father of children without a home, creator of vessels without a soul; Just stay the course, focus on my voice – I'll show you the way then you'll rejoice!''
 – Stay The Course by NateWantsToBattle ft. CG5 (Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted)
xXxXxXx
Seriously, what is the point of this? I don't even know whether I can find solace in exploring this game.
Sam sighed, still unsure whether this was even a good idea. After all, there were other things she had in mind, like the Showtime Animatronics, her nightmares, the fact that she would sleepwalk, the missing Drawkill Animatronics, exploring Ricky's Wonder Shack with Matt and finding whoever destroyed the Nightmare Animatronics. However, she knew that Matt was right about her finally having to confront her issues, as she couldn't avoid them forever.
Therefore, she decided to use all of her free time to play the video game she had gotten – Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. Admittedly, she had the choice to play either the version her father had gifted her after the beta tester sent it to him or the official version of the game released by Fazbear Entertainment. She decided to go back to her original plan, to first check the earlier version and then the official version, curious about the changes between the games.
Admittedly, she already knew that one of the changes was the title of the game. Sam made a note that the video game was originally known as The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience, before it was switched over to Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. It seemed that this change was made after the beta testing, with Sam assuming that Fazbear Entertainment wanted the title to sound more like a normal video game.
This feels like the start of some kind of creepypasta. Sam smiled bitterly as she completely reset the game, wanting the full experience from the very start. She took a deep breath and rubbed her hands together. Fine, let's start the investigation.
Before she had even started the game, she decided to check the e-mail her father had sent her containing information about the earlier version of the game, with the beta tester's e-mail attached to it. Admittedly, Aaron was a little surprised about the beta tester sending him the earlier version of the game, telling him that he was allowed to send the early version of Help Wanted to Sam, but he figured he shouldn't question that decision. He just reminded his daughter to not spoil the game before the official version came out.
'''I believe that your daughter would be happy to play this video game. After having tested it by myself, I can say for sure that it will be an interesting experience for her. I'm sure that she will become obsessed with it','' Sam read the e-mail. So far, there was nothing noteworthy in it, except for the fact that the beta tester agreed to allow her to play the video game and praised it.
Attached to the e-mail was also a teaser image of the video game, showing Freddy and his friends gazing creepily at her and almost melting into each other. When she found it the first time, Sam only gave it a brief glance and moved on. This time, however, she downloaded the image, deciding to analyze it properly, checking its name and whether there were any hidden messages in it.
''No way…'' Sam's jaw dropped slightly when she put the image through a filter and turned the brightness up, only for a small message to be revealed, having been written in the corner of the image.
Don't listen to them.
We let something inside.
It was an accident.
Remember Jeremy.
''Who the hell is Jeremy?'' Sam muttered under her breath, rising an eyebrow. ''Okay, from what I'm getting here is that someone is not trustworthy because of an accident involving Jeremy and another being, that entity being something they let inside.'' She glanced over at the VR headset that was lying on her bed. ''The question remains, what was that accident and what did they let in?''
She got up, feeling chills all over her body. She was very familiar with this sensation, that being the thrill she would always feel whenever she would investigate anything supernatural. Despite the fact that this was just a video game, she realized that there was a lot more to it than it appeared to be. She knew that she came across another secret that Fazbear Entertainment, and perhaps even Silver Parasol Games, wanted to keep hidden from the public. She was also quite sure that the beta tester, who had sent this game to her father knew a lot more than she let on.
On the other hand, it is possible that she had been foreshadowing the plot of the video game, since Dad had talked about how much I love the game and solving the lore. However, this is Fazbear Entertainment we're talking about. Nothing is certain, as they might be telling the truth and pretending it's all made up for ''reasons''. Sam's eyes narrowed. Note that these are the people I agreed to work for. Admittedly, it was because of my own reasons, but still…
Sam sighed, leaning back against the chair and rubbing her temple as she felt another upcoming headache. Sure, it was intriguing, but she also had a very bad feeling about this. Of course, having a bad feeling had never stopped her from continuing to uncover whatever hidden secrets there were. Taking another deep breath, she reached for the VR headset and put it on, then grabbed the controllers and started the game.
With this, the intro sequence for Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted had started. Sam had found herself inside some kind of coaster, passing by of images of the supposed ''Lunatic Developer'', which looked like someone just photoshopped photos of a random guy while listening to HandUnit introducing her to the game and its background.
''Welcome to the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience. Fazbear Entertainment is excited to join the digital age, and what better way to do that than with an edge-of-your-seat virtual reality experience? We know that Fazbear Entertainment has developed something of a bad reputation over the last few decades, and while it's true that some stories associated with our name were loosely based on actual events, the majority of them were total fabrications from the mind of a complete lunatic (lawsuits pending).''
''Oh, boy, you guys have no idea…'' Sam smirked. Rest assured, in her case, they were already too late, since she had gotten confirmation from the very person who was the reason Fazbear's Entertainment had been ruined that most of the rumors were correct.
''But we aren't above laughing at ourselves, ''Ha Ha Ha!''. That's why we have recreated many of these completely fictitious scenarios (lies) that you've been fed over the last several years, into a hilarious VR Game in the hopes that we can finally move past these childish ghost stories and develop a new relationship with you, as well as your kids (Don't forget the merch perfect for birthdays). So sit back, and enjoy a few scares!''
As she reached the end of the ride, Sam made sure to quickly pick up a tape that was to the left of the rail, having seen it, but missed it during her first time playing the game.
''We do however ask that you agree to a simple waiver before you play. It's mostly just legal mumbo-jumbo and isn't at all based on user experiences thus far or injuries associated with testing. Just touch the button to agree, and then we can jump into some harmless fun that can't harm you in any harmful way. Thank you for playing the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience!''
Sam gave the waiver a nonchalant gaze. Frankly, she couldn't give a damn about suffering from injuries because of this VR game since she had found herself in much worse situations, including having been wounded and scarred by real animatronics. Still, she decided to read the whole liability waiver:
''Welcome to the Fazbear Entertainment Quality Assurance team. Before we can officially congratulate you on your fabulous lifetime career choice, you must agree to this simple waiver. Our lawyers have come up with a way to save you time by bypassing all the legal terms, and pages and pages of law-related verbiage by creating this simple in-game app. The important points have been condensed to a single page. Consider precious moments of your life saved.''
''Why does this feel like a contract a night guard would have to sign in the 90s version of the restaurant?'' Sam muttered to herself, shrugging. ''Except for the part of releasing a missing person's poster long after they cleaned up the blood and guts.''
''The auto-scroll feature was designed to protect you from potential repetitive stress injuries. It's just another way that Fazbear Entertainment cares for its employees. You should also take care not to over-exert your eyes while looking at such small text on a highly contrasting document screen.''
''Dude, it's a VR game,'' Sam added in a deadpan tone. ''I know that my eyes are gonna hurt and I will be stuck with a headache if I play this for too long. Also, who the hell made the text so small?!'' She paused. ''Right, they probably wanted to avoid people seeing the small print.''
''Therefore it is recommended that you rest your eyes while agreeing to these terms. Please close them now for safety purposes. Are they closed? Good. If you agree to the terms presented, you may press the button in front of you to confirm. Or, if you would like to reduce the risk of repetitive stress injury, you may allow the accept button to remain untouched for 10 seconds. The 10 second mark will let us know that you intend to press the accept button, but are a health-conscious individual.''
Sam just rolled her eyes and pressed the button on the waiver. She knew she'd regret it and she didn't care. She already had done enough things that would land her in an asylum.
''You acknowledge that Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for; accidental digital consciousness transference, real world manifestations of digital characters, nightmares, night terrors, Night sweats….''
HandUnit's voice faded out as Sam found herself in the Main Hub Area, with the selection menu in front of her, with Helpy, a chibi version of Funtime Freddy, giving her a cheerful look.
''Welcome to the Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience. Use the console in front of you to navigate the menu and pick one of the frightening experiences available. By completing these scenarios, more will become available. You'll see plenty of familiar faces, and some new ones as well. So, stay awhile, and have a good time, and remember: despite the temporary horror you may experience, this is a completely controlled environment and you aren't in any real danger (Fazbear Entertainment not responsible for real danger). Please make a selection from the virtual menu.''
Sam took a look around the Main Hub Area, which looked like the Dining Area in a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location. There was a show stage with the curtain closed behind the monitor in front of her and behind her was an area filled with tables and chairs. The Prize Counter was also visible at the end of the room near the exit. Foxy's Pirate Cove was located at the left of her and a mysterious, dark hallway could be seen at the right, albeit looking a little blurry, or rather, glitchy.
On the table in front of Sam was the monitor, a switch that could change the game to hard mode, buttons that led to different room, a tape player that led her to the Tape Room (she figured this one out after switching to Hard Mode out of sheer curiosity), and a cupcake basket with candies.
''Let's see…'' Sam muttered as she switched through the minigames. ''Which one am I going to play first? I could go through FNaF, FNaF 2 and FNaF 3 first, but I also have Dark Rooms, Parts and Service, Vent Repair, and Night Terrors.''
She also knew that she needed to collect all of the Faz Tokens and tapes, having not done much during her previous playthroughs. Not to mention, there was also the Blacklight Switch, which contained the altered levels, letting her access the Tape Room.
''Oh, right!'' Sam snapped her fingers, having realized that she didn't unlock the Tape Room yet. She went over to the Prize Counter, finding a Faz Token on the counter in front of the prize select monitor, as well as the glitchy tape player on a shelf next to the Toy Chica plushie. However, she then realized that, having not played any of the minigames, she had no access to any of the prizes, meaning she had no items she could use to knock it over. ''Damn it… Fine, Five Nights at Freddy's it is.''
She returned to the selection menu, choosing the FNaF 1 minigame and starting the night, hearing the phone ringing once she found herself in the office, and answered it.
''Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night…''
Sam smiled bitterly as she heard Phone Guy's familiar voice. She already knew all of his calls by heart, explaining to her the dangers of being a night guard and the fact that Fazbear Entertainment didn't care about the safety of their employees. After all, they could be easily replaced. That is, after Fazbear Entertainment hid all of the evidence that they hired whoever became the victim of the week. She picked up the tape that was on the desk, as well as start searching for the Faz Tokens.
''Honestly, this kind of feels nostalgic,'' she muttered under her breath.
''Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read…''
''I know, I know… 'Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred' we will remove your corpse from the animatronic suit, bleach the whole place and forward your ghost the bill,'' Sam added, shaking her head. ''So, they just re-used the recordings from the Five Nights at Freddy's game for Phone Guy, instead of making up something new.''
Sam then managed to find a Faz Token under the Cupcake and started rummaging through the drawers. She did check the monitors, noting that Chica was already on the move, but far enough for her not to worry.
''Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about…''
''Yeah, there is nothing to worry about, except for the fact that those robots are out for your blood,'' Sam muttered, biting her lip as she took out the drink cups in the drawer. ''Gotcha! Oh, damn it!'' Sam looked up after having found a Faz Token under the drink cups in the drawer and seeing Chica slowly advancing towards her. Admittedly, it was a little fascinating to see Chica move like this instead of teleporting, but on the other hand, she had no idea whether the animatronic would just pass by the door and wait in the corner before she attacked or instantly attack her. Sam decided to shut the door down. ''I'm not going through this again.''
''So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit…''
''Oh, they certainly do,'' Sam muttered as she peeked through the window, waiting for Chica to finally move. She kept the door closed, listening to Chica's heavy steps as she passed by and then turned her attention to the monitor, finding Bonnie standing at the end of the hallway. Fortunately, Chica left, with Sam opening the door and tilting her head, trying to get a look at the chicken animatronic as she walked away. While she was familiar with real animatronics and this game, it still was fascinating to see the 90s animatronics like this.
''Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person…''
''Why should they? After all, they recognize everyone who isn't a child as the monster who caused them so much pain and suffering,'' Sam added. It was the same old song and dance. Whenever Bonnie and Chica would get too close for comfort, she would close the door, keep them outside and wait until they left. Around 3 AM, she found another Faz Token on the monitor on the right and checking the office once more, she didn't find anything. She did, however, grab the Cupcake and leaned out of the office just as Chica was approaching.
''Hey, you forgot this!'' she said, throwing the Cupcake at the advancing animatronic. It hit Chica, who just continued walking towards her, so Sam, giggling, quickly shut the door down.
''Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night.''
''Too bad no one will know that you had been a real person at one point,'' Sam muttered, leaning her cheek against her hand and sighing as she prevented Bonnie from breaking inside. Frankly, the first night of the game was a breeze for her and she wasn't creeped out by Bonnie nor Chica at all. At this point, all she had to do was to wait until the night was done so she could collect her prize. Eventually, the clock chimed, with the children cheering for her surviving the night.
She was then brought to a room with her prize. The room was surrounded with purple curtains with starry pattern. Several silver stars were dangling from the ceiling, and banner was placed in front of and above her saying ''GAME WON! CLAIM YOUR PRIZE''. In the middle of the room was a small purple table with a gift box on it. A crank was attached to the said gift box, and had to be turned before she could leave the room. Sam turned the crank, waiting for it to reveal her prize – a Freddy Fazbear plushie.
''Nice,'' she smiled as she heard the sound of children cheering for her. ''Now I have the necessary ammunition to get that tape player from the Prize Counter.''
After returning back to the Main Hub Area, she quickly turned towards the Prize Counter and picked the Freddy Fazbear plush toy on the monitor, only to realize that the basketball was actually available as well. Almost facepalming for not checking the monitor properly, she just moved on and grabbed the Freddy Fazbear plushie that had been delivered by the hand claw and aimed at the Toy Chica plushie on the shelf. She stuck out her tongue and threw the Freddy Fazbear plushie at the tape player, but unfortunately for her, she missed.
''Damn it,'' she hissed, ordering another Freddy Fazbear plushie and aiming again. This time, she managed to hit the Toy Chica plushie. ''Close enough. Let's try once more.''
Taking a deep breath, she aimed once more and threw the Freddy Fazbear plushie, this time hitting the tape player and knocking it over. She fist-pumped. ''Yes! Nailed it!''
Having unlocked the Tape Room, she remained at the Prize Counter, noting that there were still a few tapes there that she needed to pick up, those being under the Disappointment Chips inside the counter and inside the left gum-ball machine to the right of the counter.
''Now, I could give them a listen or try to collect more,'' Sam muttered to herself, wondering what should be her next move. She made a snap decision. ''You know what, let's hear what whoever left them has to say.''
She returned back to the monitor, looking around once more, only to almost suffer from a heart-attack when she realized that she wasn't alone in the Main Hub Area.
''Who the hell are you?!'' she yelled at the figure that was standing in the hallway on her right.
The figure had the form of a man wearing a Spring Bonnie costume – who was a grinning, bipedal, golden-yellow rabbit. He was wearing a purple vest speckled with star prints and a purple bow tie with two black buttons near the top of his chest. He also had stitches stretching across his waving hand. He also had large whiskers on each side of his face, three eyelashes on both of his eyes, and large arching eyebrows. His eyes were a glowing vivid purple with small pupils, with Sam realizing that they were the glitchy parts she saw when she entered this area for the first time. The rabbit was translucent to some extent, glowing in a green-golden hue, but something told Sam that he might gain a less-spectral form over time.
After calming down a little and taking a few deep breaths, Sam tilted her head, staring at the rabbit, feeling puzzled. Rest assured, he wasn't an animatronic and while she could argue that he resembled Spring Bonnie, she was fairly certain that he wasn't the animatronic she had on mind.
''I wonder whether you were created specifically for this game,'' Sam muttered, crossing her arms. The rabbit just kept waving at her, with Sam wincing as she heard some kind of garbled speech, unable to understand what he was saying. She decided to wave back, but the rabbit didn't react. ''You won't jumpscare me, right?''
The rabbit didn't respond, keeping on waving at her. Sam wondered whether she should pick one of the prizes from the Prize Counter and try throwing it at the rabbit in order to provoke him, but she then figured it would be a bad idea. She had no clue what this rabbit was, why he was here or what he wanted from her.
Or, perhaps, there is an explanation for who this rabbit is. After all, I still have those tapes I need to listen to.
Sighing, Sam decided to leave figuring out who this rabbit character was for later and instead turned her attention to the Blacklight Switch, accessing the Blacklight Mode and gaining access to the Tape Room.
''We went to great lengths to create an authentic VR experience, including using scanned photographs for reference and using original performance routines where applicable,'' Sam heard HandUnit say upon entering the Tape Room.
The room itself was dark, with a desk in the center. On that desk, there was a shelf in front of her where the tapes she collected were stored. She could listen to them with the tape player right beside the shelf. On the right, there was a button to return to the main room. Sam looked around nervously, sighing in relief when she realized that the strange rabbit wasn't inside the room. Still, she couldn't get rid off the feeling that she was being observed in some way.
''Okay, calm down and get over with this,'' Sam told herself, glancing at the shelf with the tapes. So far, she had only four of them. ''Try listening to them first and then speculate about the lore.''
She grabbed the first tape and placed it into the tape player, activating it. She was a little surprised when she heard a female voice.
''Hello? Can you hear me? Don't exit this room, ok? This isn't a mistake. This room isn't a mistake. I had to hide these logs away from the core gameplay files in a place that only a beta tester would look and in a place where the files could be protected. I just really, really hope that the next development team finds this before the game is released to the public.''
''What?'' Sam rose an eyebrow, feeling bewildered.
''This game has some kind of malicious code in it that we haven't been able to fully contain or even understand for that matter. We're over-budget and out of time. But that's not the reason that we're shutting down. Listen, I have to keep this short so the file size will be small enough to fly under the radar. There are more. They may not be in order.''
''Wait a second, what are you talking about?'' Sam found herself asking, despite being aware that the woman, Tape Girl, as she decided to call her, wouldn't respond. She grabbed the next tape, placing in in the player. ''I saw it for the first time today. There was a character, I couldn't make out who it was, standing at the end of the hall. I thought it was just bugged out, so I made a note of it and kept playing. But then it was looking in the window. And not like Chica or Bonnie would. It was like it was actually looking in the window, seeing what I was doing.''
''No way,'' Sam muttered, feeling chills flowing down her spine as she put the next tape.
''I heard a pretty heated conversation this morning between Dale – our manager – and someone else on the line. It really feels like this project is in trouble, in no small part because of the lawsuit I'm sure. There has to be a lawsuit. There's no way there isn't. It happened in this building just a few doors down from me. I think it's made worse by the fact that Jeremy tried to tell us something was wrong. But as a dev team, we all just saw it as a challenge to find what the problem was and fix it. Who could have known that- I have to go.''
Feeling her hands shaking, she quickly put the last tape she had into the player.
''Have you ever heard of a guillotine paper slicer? It sounds made up, but it's an actual piece of office equipment. I didn't even know we had one in the supply room. I guess they're more common at businesses that do a lot of graphic design work. I remember seeing one when I was still in school, and even then I knew how dangerous it looked. I was always afraid of losing a finger. That seems so silly now. Jeremy used to do design work. I guess that's how he knew it was there.''
Once the tape was done playing, Sam had to take a few moments to process everything. She knew that, if this indeed wasn't part of the game, she had discovered something that might have dire consequences for everyone involved with this video game. Not to mention, the tapes also gave her hints for what that glitchy rabbit was.
''Okay, so, to recap, Fazbear Entertainment wanted to make light of the tragedies that had occurred at Freddy's by making a video game, while also trying to discredit the game developer whose games I previously played,'' Sam muttered to herself, exiting the Tape Room and returning to the main area. ''However, during the development of Help Wanted, something happened. If Tape Girl is indeed telling the truth and her tapes aren't really part of the game, that means that Fazbear Entertainment is once again responsible for unleashing something dangerous.''
She stared at the monitor, frowning. ''So, there is a malicious code in the system that the previous development team, that is, the one Tape Girl belonged to, was unable to contain, and that code might be that strange rabbit character.''
Sam looked back at the hallway, finding the rabbit staring at her and waving. She could hear him say something again, but unfortunately, there was no way for her to make out what he was telling her without recording it and altering the audio. Her eyes narrowed.
''Then, there's the fact that there was some kind of accident that that included this guy, Jeremy. The fact that there's a guillotine paper slicer involved doesn't give me high hopes for the outcome,'' she added.
Despite the fact that there was no reason for her not to believe that the tapes, the lore and the rabbit weren't part of the video game, she was familiar enough with Fazbear Entertainment's practices to know that Tape Girl was indeed telling the truth and that this was something that indeed happened during the development of Help Wanted. However, it was up to Sam whether she would believe her or not.
If this isn't some kind of sick joke, then this means that the horror story isn't over yet and that I still have work to do. She bit her lip, glaring at the rabbit. Who are you?
The rabbit grumbled something in a distorted voice in response, waving at Sam. The latter stared at the rabbit, before sighing and wondering what she was supposed to call the rabbit. The first thing that came to her mind was Spring Bonnie, but given the rabbit's appearance, as well as the implications that came with that name, she was a bit hesitant about calling him that. Another name that came to her mind was Malhare, but even though Tape Girl described the digital rabbit mascot as malicious code, he hadn't done anything that could be considered malicious… yet.
Sam clenched her fists around the controllers, feeling a lump in her throat as one more name came to her mind as she observed the translucent glitchy rabbit who was waving her. She knew that it could be just a coincidence, but her gut feeling told her that she was right with her assumption, even if she hated it.
''I guess I could call you Glitchtrap…''
Sam gasped suddenly, her eyes widening as she heard the rabbit speak again. However, instead of his voice being distorted noise, it was crystal clear, a simple question echoing in her head.
''Can you hear me?''

The Crying Child witnessed Charolette Emily's Death (a theory) Part 2.
Continuing with my theory, there is one thing that needs to be mentioned. When fans were figuring out what the Crying child witnessed that made so distress. The biggest one is that he witnessed the death of his sister Elizabeth. While yes, seeing your sibling being killed right in front of you is traumatising. We know that Circus Baby's Pizza World was openly opened in one day. With him saying the four animatronics plushies are his friends and the fact that he keeps going back to the Pizzeria itself. It makes sense that It is FredBear's Family Diner that he has a problem with. The reason why, he goes there it's because that where his dad, William Afton to get away from his older brother Michael Afton who keeps making things worse for him.
Tumblr media
With the missing Children taking place in 1985, it only make sense that the crying child witnessed Charlie's death rather then anyone else's. Another thing to note that the the crying child's favourite ride was the Carousel, the first and only time we see a caurosel up until FNAF Help Wanted 2 is in FNAF 2 where it's located near Balloon Boy, Scott Cawthon said that Nightmare Balloon Boy is Canon which the rest of the other Halloween animatronics are not, however I do think Nightmarrione whom is nightmare version of the puppet could be know seen as Canon. Another thing I believe that the Crying Child may have seen the death of Charlie is because how connected they are. Let's start with the fact that their father were co-owners of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and FredBear's Family Diner. Charlie's age could be either close to Elizabeth and the crying child meaning they may have hang out with one and another.
Another thing is that Steel Wool is probably telling us that Charlie's death and The Crying Child's death took place in the same year. During FNAF Help Wanted 2, you have to collect 6 memory plushies. Many of the plushies tend to be found in games where they have some associated with. Bonnie is found in bonk a Bon, you gotta make 4 chica related food and drinks to get chica, foxy is found in the log ride and freddy is found in fazerblast after being the place getting burnt down.
However the puppet and the golden Freddy's whereabouts are opposite to themselves. The Puppet plushie is found in a sister location game where you opened the drawers and type 1983 to get it. I thought that this was strange because the puppet doesn't have any connection to sister location nor the year itself, while the Golden freddy plushie is found in the hard mode in Fizzy Faz Night 3 where the staff bots are replaced by the nightmare Bots that look like nightmarionne. So it would make sense If they switch the puppet plushie and the golden freddy plushie since 1983 has always been associated with the crying child whom passed away at the year and is one of 2 kids whom possessed Golden Freddy. This is steel wool telling us that 1983 is not only the year where the crying child head gets his head crush but it was also the year of Charlie's Death and I believe that midnight motorist show us that.
When it comes to midnight motorist, the one thing I do find interesting is how sympathetic Michael is towards his little brother. Through the Mini game in FNAF 4, Michael and his friends keep scaring him which causes him to breakdown and cry but in the midnight motorist he is telling his dad to leave him alone since he had a rough day. I see this as at one point, Michael sympathetic towards the crying child because they are mourning over the lost of their sister. I think that William Afton used Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria as his hunting ground and in order to keep his youngest son from going to the place. He probably had Michael to scare him so he ends up fearing the place, however the crying child isn't scared of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria but rather he's scared of Fredbear's Family Diner and the he witnessed Charlie's death outside and it traumatised him so bad.

Chucky season 3, ep 4
Spoiler warning...
Now....
...............
Thats about it... I mean I don't think there's a LOT a lot to talk about....
........................
Sooo... Chucky's old/dying. And that last attempt didn't work. Is this the final season?o3o I dunno just wondering, not judging. Just curious, cause we've gotten over the writers' strike but the actors' is still going on. I know studios will chop a show rather than wait/or negotiate
I'll only be disappointed there won't be a Chucky/Freddy crossover. I feel like this show missed an opportunity to have Freddy (since I think Robert Englund officially retired).
I... feel REALLY sorry for the White House family ironically. The big brother actually wanted to feel like a normal teen and have friends. The poor baby brother is so manipulated that its just like Andy level sad. Cause you know Chucky once told baby Andy that he was sent from his father (from Heaven). And that scene were the father was chasing what he thought was his son. I dunno you could see that sliver of hope in the father, even if it was scaring him, to see his deceased child.
Uhhh... soo Tiffany is using voodoo to get out. Not shocked, just feel like the show is stretching how its used for a minute. But I'm just nitpicking for a bit. Even if I believe that the scene were she got the cook inmate worked. Thats not entirely it, though this is my nitpicking side, lol... I think she took a big jump knowing she'd been in the kitchen. What if she had cancelled, what if she was sleeping or outside. But whatever. Lol This is Chucky.
I think what I find a stretch that her "coddling" the doll suddenly brainwashed the guard/and eventually guards. I've seen a lot of voodoo used in TV thats never really done. But again its Chucky, can't expect logic.
Villain wise, Tiffany is still just very much an icon. Just trying to figure out what this show's plan is for her. All this whole "accepting her identity" crap is confusing me. I dunno if Tiff's delusional or just plain stupid. Its like watching What We Do in the Shadows, and the Baron kept publicly announcing he's a vampire. She trying just to escape, be another killer?o3o She's not a 100% interested in seeing Gigi. I just I dunno.
As much as their avoiding she just still feels more destined to cross paths with Chucky again. But I'm gonna guess Nica's gonna attempt to kill her orrrr Tiff's gonna use voodoo to control/force love on her(which is creepy).
But then that brings to mind... why didn't Tiffany do that in the beginning of the series instead of cutting off Nica's limbs oO.
Thats about it. This show wasn't entirely focused on giving our hero trio attention/or development.
The only other thing I'm wondering................. who was that the President saw/chased in the beginning of the party. It wasn't Chucky (again first part not the end), it wasn't Caroline too short... was that really suppose to be the ghost of their deceased son Joseph?

Hello, enjoyer of Kats-rambles here. Even though he hasn't been the main focus of them, I've been enjoying your Henry thoughts lately. I have a pretty similar interpretation: that although Henry is a nice person, he's not strictly speaking the best adult figure in the Afton kids' lives and has (or had) a huge blind spot when it comes to William. This really contrasts with your human Freddy Fazbear who's not only a wonderful father to Gregory, but a pillar of support for Evan during his recovery. What really struck me was how he was still able to have compassion for Evan's siblings while still holding them accountable for what they did to him. I really love the way they kind of parallel one another and was wondering if you set them up that way on purpose? ~Dire Kumori
It feels kinda weird to hear anyone imply that they like my thoughts on fnaf characterizations considering all my characterizations are largely just amalgamations from me choosing the most interesting parts of *other* people's interpretations, lmao (then again, that does rather feel like the point of this fandom, considering that so little is strictly canon). But thank you, haha. The idea of Henry being loyal to a fault and diving head-first into denial when his loyalty gets him nowhere is an interesting one to me, though I don't have any knowledge from the books or anything to back that take up with.
Unfortunately I can't say that I wrote Henry and Freddy to parallel each other. I haven't even been thinking about Henry's place in the au very much, if I'm being honest. I wrote a while back that Mike and Liz would end up being adopted by him, but I've been second-guessing that decision more and more every time I think about whether games-canon Henry was actually a good person. If Liz and Mike still get adopted by Henry in the au (which they probably will, since I can't think of any other character in the games who could fill that role, though I've considered having them get adopted by Freddy, too, on a couple occasions), then Henry is going to have to take some big steps to make up for abandoning them and ignoring all the red flags about the abuse and neglect they faced at home.
I haven't decided yet whether Henry suspects William's responsibility for his daughter's death. Either way, when I imagine what Henry has been up to off-screen at this point in the au I think of him cutting people off, obsessively drifting between Freddy's locations trying to shower the kids there with excessive love and kindness to make up for his guilt over Charlie's death, and somehow being blind to the three kids who need that love and kindness the most.
Freddy, meanwhile, is a good person who IS able to see through William's family-man act but, unlike Henry, for one reason or another can't do anything about the abuse Evan is facing at home other than give Evan a safe place to stay for as long as he needs. I honestly can't say I noticed that parallel, much less set it up. I haven't put much thought into "setting Freddy up" to be anything, actually. I've only really been writing him based on his characterization and how I *think* Glamrock Freddy as we see him in SB would respond to the situations I put him in.
Like, I didn't have much of an idea what Freddy would say to Michael when Mike had his panic attack in MBMW chapter 1; going in, the only thing written in my outline was that I knew that there was no way Glam Freddy would be okay with a kid having a panic attack in front of him, no matter what he had heard about them or how much he disliked them/what they had done. I didn't know what Freddy would say to calm Michael down beyond just giving Mike breathing exercises as I started writing that scene, only that he'd try comforting Mike while still being pissed at him for putting Evan and his son (and daughter, as I would later write Vanessa into the story) in this situation in the first place. As cliche as it is for an author to say this, Freddy is the one who took control of the situation with Michael, not me, because I couldn't figure out what Freddy would say until as I was actively writing the scene.
And the scene just after that where the two are sitting in the car and Freddy assures Gregory that he's not mad at Gregory for hurting Mike but is rather proud of his son for protecting his friend wasn't in my notes AT ALL. The panic-attack scene was supposed to have ended with the line "Gregory didn’t give Michael the dignity of a response. He just tugged on his dad’s hand and marched straight out of there without looking back" before immediately cutting to the 'four months after the Bite' time skip, but as I wrote that line, I suddenly found myself wondering what Freddy's response to Gregory's outburst would be considering I ended up writing Freddy as trying really hard to keep his composure around Mike, and... well, again, the characters took the reigns in that scene between Freddy and Gregory.
Honestly, someone left a comment on ch1 of MBMW commenting on the contrast readers got to see between William's horrible parenting and Freddy being a good, attentive father figure, and I was blown away at the very idea because they were SO RIGHT, and I friggin wrote the story myself and somehow never even saw or noticed it. Maybe I was trying to write Freddy as a good parent, but my real goal was just to write Freddy as *himself*.
Basically, this is my long-winded way of saying that as much as I like to think of myself as an experienced writer, my process is little more than asking myself "how would a character respond if I put them into a situation?" and I don't pay much mind to parallels or foils like I do when *consuming* media. You guys as readers are really the ones who force me to view my material in a fresh light, and with comments and questions like this and the one listed above, YOU guys are actually the ones bringing my stories new intensity and life. That's why I like getting new comments so much; sometimes you get one that makes you think of a character or line in a new light.

Out of all the reviews I’ve read, I think this is the one I most agree with.
From tellyvisions.org, by Lacy Baugher
It's not exactly a secret that The CW isn't a network traditionally known for its serious historical dramas. And although its Mary, Queen of Scots-focused series Reign ran for three seasons, its intense love of headbands and colorful prom gown-style court dresses could hardly be called historically accurate. This isn't necessarily a bad thing—and to be fair, I watched every episode of Reign and unironically loved it—but the show is not exactly a prestige period piece. But it does mean something like Leonardo is a strange fit for the network, a relatively straightforward historical drama starring former Poldark leading man Aidan Turner.
Granted, much like Reign, Leonardo plays a bit (okay, a lot) fast and loose with the historical record, making up several notable characters and a murder mystery in the name of entertaining television. However, at its heart, that's what Leonardo is. Look: If you're tuning in, hoping for an earnest high-end drama or character study here, you will be disappointed. The framework of the series requires a particular (read: large) suspension of disbelief to work, as it seems to think its audience is more interested in the twists of the mystery it has just created from whole cloth than any profound truths about the life of man. But, the story is undoubtedly propulsive, with a plot full of poisonings, political machinations, and betrayals. Even if you may not be able to articulate precisely why you're suddenly so invested in this made-up tale, you'll still push play on the next episode.
The show introduces us to Leonardo in two different timelines: One, in which he is a fresh-faced apprentice at the very beginning of his journey to greatness, and another, set sixteen years later, where he is a brooding, grubbily bearded prisoner accused of murdering his muse and BFF Caterina de Cremona (Matilda De Angelis) and is being questioned by an officer of the Podesta known as Stefano Giraldi (Freddie Highmore). The timelines shift back and forth as multiple figures from Leonardo's life appear to be questioned by the police and occasionally make dour or downright weird pronouncements about how the genius valued art above all other things and is unstable enough to kill someone.
Leonardo was Turner's first TV role after he wrapped his five-year run on Poldark, and it's easy to see why he might be drawn to playing a character like this, who is in so many ways the antithesis of Ross's staid, surly demeanor. Turner's Leonardo is equally intense and layered but much more emotionally open, full of awe at the wonder of the world around him, fascination at the people who inhabit it, and utterly determined to achieve greatness. He successfully sells the sequences of manic inspiration and productivity that seem to drive the character, all shot through with the hunger of an outsider who is still desperately searching for the approval his father has long denied him.
In short: Leonardo is an entire mess, but it's part of the reason it's so easy to like this portrayal. From chaos often springs genius, right? Since the real-life Da Vinci famously had no female friends and never married, it's interesting that Leonardo chose to give their version of the artist a weirdly codependent and challenging relationship with a woman. (And a made-up one at that!) It's not to say that Leonardo and Caterina aren't compelling to watch. However, their more-than-friends yet less-than-lovers dynamic means that the truth of their bond remains challenging to pin down throughout and their real motivations hard to identify.
Leonardo is depicted as dangerously ambitious, but Caterina's determination not to return to the life of a serving girl ultimately leads her to make questionable and even reckless choices. Choices that might have landed with more impact and clarity had we been shown any real hint at her backstory (beyond a few dropped references to life on the streets and the story of the terrifying near-death experience that left the scar on her back.)
It's also unfortunate that one of the series' only notable women is a Dead Girl Walking from the opening moments of its first episode. We know from the start that Caterina's death is inevitable; in fact, it is the precipitating event for much of the show's action. That's a shame in and of itself because Caterina is quite charming. Her relationship with Leonardo provides a much-needed humanizing effect on the man who spends most of his screen time rambling about esoteric ideas of truth and beauty. But also because the only other central female character who appears in the four episodes available to screen for critics is Ginevra de' Benci.
Her (honestly gorgeous) portrait remains the only da Vinci painting in the Americas today. (Beatrice D'Este pops up at several points, but she seems to exist in this show only because she also has to die. Her death is famously why Ludovico Sforza became so focused on embellishing the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, where Da Vinci's The Last Supper will one day reside.) On the plus side, the series' supporting cast is top-notch. James D'Arcy is having the time of his life as Ludovico, the influential Duke of Milan, whose obsession with maintaining control over the city-state and cementing his own legacy leads him to commit terrible acts, even as he commissions stunning art from Leonardo. Highmore may have the most thankless task of the ensemble, forced to conduct a murder investigation that everyone knows from the series' first moments will fail (thanks, history!) However, his presence remains magnetic.
Leonardo is not precisely what one might call the definitive dramatic take on the life of an extraordinary person. Hopefully, HBO swoops in and takes care of that someday. But, to its credit, it's a fun, fast-paced ride that might inspire you to dig further into who this great man was. (And at this point, I need to find out who killed Caterina, so I'm in.)
