what pisses me off the most about the jekyll and hyde musical is that robert louis stevenson explicitly said to NOT make the inner conflict about sex but meanwhile frank wildhorn was like "lol bozo" and made it about jekyll/hyde choosing between a virgin and a whore like HUH.

if i had a nickel for every frank wildhorn show in which jeremy jordan commits murder because he's disillusioned with the justice system and dies in the end that also has laura osnes in it, i'd have 2 nickels. which isn't a lot but it's really weird that it's happened twice.

I'm not a big ballet fan. I'd prefer if this was Frank Wildhorn's Dracula the musical (which I saw on Broadway in 2004 and wish to see again in person one day). But I am sharing this because that is an EXCELLENT Dracula costume!
I love when they make his cape resemble bat wings. They did that in Frank WIldhorn's Dracula the Musical too. He spread the cape out and flipped in the air to perch upside down while singing "Life after Life."

I commissioned the wonderful @paleosart to redraw Takarazuka's Bonnie & Clyde leads, Yumeshiro Aya and Ayakaze Sakina, as the iconic Barbie mugshot scene!
This musical has consumed my mind since it was first announced, particularly because it was the Top Musumeyaku debut of my princess Yumeshiro Aya! 2023 was a rough year with a lot changes in my life, but Bonikura and Aya had a part in keeping me sane. Barbie was also very important, it was a film I watched with my mom and best friend which gave me precious memories.
In short: Two things I love a lot now finally together! I hope everyone appreciate this beautiful art Paleo made! ♥️♥️♥️
