#inspired when i saw an ad on youtube for wizard101#where it said “come play for free and explore 16 different worlds!!!” and i was like okay thats a fucking lie#you cant even get all the way through the FIRST world#personally i think its stupid and inconvenient to have to pay to play the MAIN QUESTLINE#for the people who dont have time to grind the set amount of time you pay for membership or those who dont have money#you either pay for a year and are pressured to do as much as you can before time runs out#or you're stuck doing nothing. there's very little you can do without membership#like the main selling point of the game is so you can finish the story. thats what we download the game for in the first place#it gives you the impression that the priority here is your money and not the consumer's enjoyment and comfort#like there are plenty of games who make the entire game free and still are well off#we pay like 40-50 dollars on bundles and even more than that on crowns. that should be more than enough#there are other games where if you dont have membership it barely affects your gameplay experience overall#or games that have no membership function but still can make decent money#imo having to pay to just actually play the game doesnt make it free. like yeah you can do other stuff like fish and duel each other-#and thats it. you walk around the commons and talk ig#thats like the biggest reason i dropped the game its just wayy too expensive and inconvenient to play it#wizard101#w101#wiz101#polls

this is a direct call out idgaf, all the female characters in LO be looking like MLP characters and it's wild 😭 it's not like LO hasn't always had this problem with drawing characters from a profile view but with the current stylization post S2 (and ESPECIALLY in S3) it just looks so freakishly awful, their jaws and noses jut out so freakishly far and the pinch between the nose and forehead is looking more and more like the Grand Canyon 😭

I impulse bought Howliday Clawdeen yesterday and she arrived tonight!! I’m gonna be honest, the only reason I got her is because she was on sale for 16 bucks 💀.
Love Clawdeen but this doll is not worth 45 dollars imo, majority of the reviews show how absolutely atrocious her hair is and her face-up isn’t even the same as it is in the stock photos.
And I can confirm, her hair is an absolutely hot mess and I haven’t even opened her yet lmao.

#crafting update#the person behind the yarn#I got like a yard each of gray and brown faux sherpa fabric from the joanns remnant bin#for like 3-4 dollars each instead of being like 16-20 dollars per yard#so idk what I'm making with them but that was waaaay too good a deal to pass up#for reference: the mammoth pieces I cut out of a 1/3 yard piece of fabric#and I can make at least 3 or 4 more out of that third a yard#so a full yard is at least a dozen plushies

i think i played sims 4 with my sister for six hours straight today?
#vixella + james turner's sale promo post convinced me#$33 dollars down the drain BUT it was for the two packs i'd most likely use anyway#we made ace attorney characters partly to captivate my sister's attention and also because it's funny as fuck#though i do have OCs in mind... yes it's 1:30 AM but i might just like...#write some more OCs. and watch more vixella :) i love her content sm#i also kind of wanted to figure out what sims traits my irl friends would have because i think it's funny#but i can't tell if that's the sort of thing i need to debrief them about#or to like never mention because who the fuck cares#ultimately i truly do not think any of them would give a shit but you know#(btw we got romantic garden stuff (free); city living ($16); and seasons ($16) + base game (free))#both city living & seasons would ordinarily be $30-40 so...#we also want to circle back to grab cats & dogs (~$30-40; $16 on this sale but it's only 24 hr)#but i thought that city living was more strategic at the moment#+ i would in the long run LOVE to have growing together or parenthood... and parenthood runs cheaper in general...#but i already have spent a lot of money this semester :/#mostly because Ooh Purchase Euphoria! and also because my college is located somewhere which. sigh.#has FAR higher prices than where i currently live#in a way that is truly horrifying but i do in fact go to college and need to get groceries somehow#so it's more of a desensitization thing because that does still need to occur#so like $33 dollars is very reasonable is my point

i might actually call around to see if any bar will let me in for my birthday but its still fucking wild how you cant do anything w/o a valid photo id in new york
#like. every job ive ever had i needed a drivers license to help people#even at dollar general someone could look 70 years old and if i didnt get their license for cigarettes id get in trouble#at my current job i need the license for most things. sometimes i could just ask security questions#but like old people also get SO MAD when you ask for their id but if i dont see it I get in trouble#at tmobile i literally had to take a picture of the id every single time someone came in. it didnt matter what it was for#and like most of the time they couldnt get it was bc theyre broke or in that weird limbo situation im in#but sometimes itd just be that the person im dealing with is old and an asshole and wants me to get fired over smth stupid#worse comes to worse. theres a local band playing that night and its 16+
