my brothers and sisters in christ, i come to you in a time of need. one of my brothers have been really struggling lately. he’s lost. i don’t think i can pray for him all on my own. if you guys could pray for him and just ask God to put his hands around my brother and save him, that’d mean the world to me. my heart aches seeing him like this. we’ve lost both of our parents young but it’s hit him the hardest. i just want him home and safe. amen and God bless y’all 🤍🤍

This scene popped into my mind in a vision I was given earlier today from God along with these words. I thought I'd share. I was able to find a picture that resembled it pretty quickly even! I posted it to instagram already but I thought maybe someone might need some positivity on here as well?:) I love you and so does Jesus, Huggs!🩷

An excerpt from the current story I've been writing.
She had noticed them immediately as she raised her head to breathe in the unusually cool air. They stopped her in her tracks and she nearly fell over as she missed the steep step-down on the broken sidewalk.  There were many of them and they hovered still in the sky as far as her eye could see. They were smooth, ice-grey disks with no other defining features. They almost blended in with the grey of the sky, but they were so big that they could not be missed. Carissa stared up at them, open-mouthed, hardly believing what she was seeing and hardly believing that no one else was seeing this as she wildly whipped her head around to see if anyone else was gaping up at the sky. The old lady in her yard across the street was watering her plants. The school girl in her blue uniform further up the street was giggling at her phone. The lanky man wearing a graphic t-shirt and ridiculously sagged jeans swerved around her on the sidewalk, shooting her an annoyed glance as he passed. Trinidadians were known for making a scene when they saw something out of the ordinary.  Maybe she was just seeing things.
This is still unedited, but I know I'll be keeping this section in.

The apostle Paul is clear: we go from "slaves to sin" to "slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification." One type of slavery leads to eternal torment, while the other leads to eternal joy.
All Christians are slaves. By definition, the Greek word for Christian, Χριστιανός, is the combination of two words: the Greek word Χριστός (Messiah / anointed / Christ) for Christ, with the addition of the suffix -ανός which is the Greek transliteration of the Latin suffix -ianus which means belong to/slave. Therefore, a Christian is a "slave of Christ" or someone who “belongs to Christ.” If you're not a slave of Christ, by the very definition of the original word, you're not a Christian. Side note, according to Thayer's Greek Lexicon, it wasn’t until the second century that the word Christian was accepted as a title of honor.
People tend to neglect the fact Jesus Himself tells us in His Word that “His yoke is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). Those “who are weary and burdened” will find rest in Him, but sadly too many people forget that He tells us about the yoke that is now upon us. Yes, His yoke is light but there is a yoke. We are not to roam around, lost, like the ones without any type of yoke. To be “free” in such a manner as described in Romans 1:24 is to be abandoned —or to be “given up” as the Bible says— by God.
Be a slave to Christ, not a slave of your sins.

 Desert -- NOT Dessert
We’re nine (9) days into Lent, but whose counting? Me! I’m numbering the days to Easter in my journal. The end of this season isn’t even in sight yet. Do I sound whiny? “PLEASE, just one tiny taste of chocolate!!” I may sound whiny but I’m really not. I know I need this season — inside and out! Lent is the time when I, with purpose and on purpose, make changes. It’s a personal time of interior…

Those making it into heaven will make that evident in them living differently here while here on earth. And, thhose words have not much to do with attending church but belief in God and in his word.
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? -1 Peter 4:18
giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: - Colossians 1:12‭-‬14

Who said being a believer in Christ would be a walk in the park? Whoever said you would never face trials and tribulations throughout your life? The moment you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, did someone tell you that it would only be rainbow and sun shine here on out?
Yes, life is filled with ups and downs, but with Christ you'll always have someone to fall on for support throughout it all. Throughout the Bible, many of the Lord's faithful ones suffered persecution, illnesses, accusations, loss, and more. And here's the thing: the Lord didn't magically make it all go away.
He helped them get through it, giving them the victory at the end. Never think you can handle it on your own. And also never think you're alone in your suffering. Christ is with you always, and He's all you will ever need.

This bible verse is my life’s mantra for 2024. It has already been an important reminder in my life strongly since May 2023. Striving to live by this verse has only strengthened my faith and trust in Lord. I’m so grateful and blessed for choosing this life. Thank you Lord for all you have given me and my family. Also thank you ahead of time for all the mighty blessings you plan to gift us in the time to come. In Jesus name, Amen! ❤️
”Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Choosing To Love God
while i was listening to another sermon on the way home, something pastor said made a few dots connect in my head. so follow me...i'm gonna get right into it. God does not want you to just play church, and read your bible as part of your daily routine.
In order to love something we have to be devoted and disciplined. meaning, love is a choice to make everyday even when you dont feel like it. people often ask "what is love?", "how do you love someone?' First, understand that loving someone is an action and a choice. not a feeling that comes and goes, at the same time though, just because you do something routinely for someone does not mean you love them.
ok. that is a little bit confusing.
if i love you, i choose to love you everyday. i will not give up when things get hard, or want to leave when the next shiny thing comes around. I choose you. To love is to choose. Because of my love for you, it creates a want and desire to please you and make you happy. now, when things get rocky and say you kind of piss me off, i will choose not to let those negative feelings impact my choice to stay with you and communicate with you. Loving God is the exact same way.
God doesnt want us to just get things off our to-do list. make sure we read the bible, go to church, minister, etc. He wants us to have a desire to do that, he wants us to choose Him. A great example the pastor used is getting your loved one a gift because they wanted it, not because you wanted to get it for them. there is a big difference, trust me. in Matthew 7:22 Jesus says, " many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name?' And i will declare to them, 'i never knew you. depart from me you workers of lawlessness.'" Often times we do things because we think we are supposed to do them, that we have to do these things to get a well done from God. And that is true but we always forget the main ingredient. The love. The desire. we can do all of these things but what does it mean if we are just doing it and not because we truly love Him.
God wants us to love him everyday even when things are hard and we want to give up. The love we have for Jesus creates the desire to want to get to know him. And we must get to know him. even if you dont go to church often, Gods wants to connect with you. Just like in any relationship, i'm sure you can ask anyone, most people would rather thier loved one have the desire to do things for them and spend time with them. Choosing to love your person everyday is not something that is easy, yet we do it all the time. we call them, we ask them what they need, we check on them, we get to know them. God simply wants the same thing. We have to make creating a connection with God a priority.
Life happens, and sometimes you dont make it to church, or even get to read your bible that day. The great thing about God is that he is not keeping score. That makes me smile just thinking about it. You might feel regretful but the next time you pray or spend time with him, he is just excited that you are back in his presence. Like a happy puppy or something lol. You might be going to church and doing your to-do list, but if you still feel like you're missing something, like "God, i'm doing all of these things bust i dont see your promises". maybe your connection with him needs to be strengthened as well as your faith. you might need to slow down and evaluate yourself. Am i doing this because i love God, or am i doing this because the church is telling me to? Am i getting to know God or just crossing read my bible off my to-do list? Have i been treating God like a genie?
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your word. I thank you for loving me and whoever is reading this unconditionally. God, i pray that whoever this post finds, that you give them the understanding of what love is through connecting with you and spending time with you. Lord i thank you for their life and thank you for leading them to this post so that they might hear from you and change their ways. I pray that you help us to love you and not get distracted in what we have to do in life or feel pressured by what we think we have to do in order to get to you. I pray that weight of expectations lifts off of us and that we get a strong desire to love you for who you are and not just for what you can do. help us to understand that your love is not measure by what we do and it never will be. your love for us will never change. God, life gets really hard sometimes and its hard to know youre there. thank you for reminding us that you have never left, and you are waiting for our return home with open arms, no matter how far we have gone. we are never too far. Lord we give you the honor and glory for what youre doing, what you have done, and what you will do. Forgive us of any sins we have committed known and unknown. in jesus name, we pray, amen.

Daily Service: If you are Christ like (Christian) are you faithful?
No stone to throw Daily Service: If you are Christ-like (Christian) are you faithful? 2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 (NKJV) Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil…

Improving Our Serve
This photo is one of the world’s most famous paintings. It is a 15th Century mural painting by Leonardo da Vinci. The painting represents the scene of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ and His disciples. You can see how aghast they were at Jesus’ announcement that one of them would betray Him. Today is Holy Thursday when we recall way more than a painting. It is the day before Jesus’ crucifixion…

There's a big leap between being religious and actually adhering to God's word.
One's idea of God and who he is would totally be throwed and off if one has no relationship with the scriptures.
When one gets into his word, and the scriptures paint a picture of who he is to you, their view of who he is would be different than one who's not experiencing the scriptures in their life, nor never reads or is taught them.
Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. - 2 Peter 3:18
