I need to be more confident in my flickertoon style cuz I keep convincing myself I can't draw a consistent character from a variety of angles featuring dynamic action poses ~ but today I proved to myself I can!
Wanted to focus on those aspects & not so much character design itself ~ so I chose my fave from 'Across the Spider Verse' ~ who already has a SPECTACULAR (cough) design.
I've been creating a lot of collage & more abstract/fine art stuff over the course of the last year ~ but I think I need to now stop chickening out on a bigger, longer comix run commitment ~ mayhaps for Webtoon or such. I have a couple ideas. gulp..
I can write. I can make art. I can do this. Stay tuned.

Experiments in coloring one of my 'flickertoons' with digital watercolor. Compared with the paint bucket method, I gotta say - not worth all the extra effort, lmao. Oh well. Still like the piece, overall.
Think of this one like a frame of some far too horny anime you caught just the last few seconds of on an animation block late one night in the late nineties/early naughties..
