🍬 Matthew did NOT have the saddest or most shocking death in Downton Abbey. Like, it sucked, yeah, but it was fairly easy to move on from. Sybil's was DEVASTATING and totally preventable, and I hate the way it's waved aside by fans of the show as not-as-bad as Matthew's. Matthew's death had me like "aaawwwww he's dead :(" but Sybil's had me sobbing.

🔪 ''can an iguana die of asphyxiation?" (the answer is yes, by the way, but it would take them a while because they can hold their breath a crazy long time, which I wouldn't have known if I hadn't researched it! I only thought to look it up because I'd recently learned that jellyfish are practically immortal.) It was for a throwaway line in a series I've been writing since I was 12. It ended up getting cut because the couple who found the dead iguana in their trunk on their honeymoon ended up not getting married in the first place, since I changed the groom from being the male lead's often-absent-but-good-guy uncle to being his deadbeat dad, and frankly, the bride deserved better than to end up with him. Why was the iguana in their trunk? Some prankster put it there during the wedding silly-stringing of their car. They never did find out who was responsible. The first and only mention of this happening was when the two leads were planning their own wedding and discussing whether or not they should hide their cars, and one of them reminded the other of the iguana incident. (They hid their cars.)

As per Production Weekly.com and SpoilerTV, ALOTO season 2 is in production! I believe it’s been quietly unofficially renewed and they haven’t made an official announcement :)

5. what made you start your blog?

so I started my tumblr when I was 15, and I'm 24 now. I remember it was summertime and I had time off from school. my main blog is called FlickerTheory (honestly, i NEED to write a rwrb fic or something called that) because I wanted to be a fantasy author at the time. I really enjoyed blogging about writing, taylor swift (who i had just gotten into!!!!) and fandom stuff.

I still love fantasy writing, but now I just want to write all of the AUs. especially sci-fi/fantasy.

8. any reacquiring dreams?

lots and lots of flying. I always figure out how to fly, which is more like levitating, and it's magnificent before I finally wake up. I get to soar and watch the world from a bird's-eye view.

19. favourite thing about the day?

I listen to way too many comedy podcasts. I love golden light in the morning and chocolate chip muffins. Lately I've been getting up at 6:30ish, which is really annoyingly early, but I really enjoy waking up early. It feels much happier to me than staying up late. i just feel NICER when I get up early, like the world is more... capable. real. at my fingertips. I guess my executive dysfunction is less bad when I'm awake earlier :')

hello i really like your blog!! Also idk if you've watched the latest few episodes of the resident but I'd love to hear your opinions if you have :)

So my thoughts are under read more because it’s going to be long.

My heart broke for Jake and his husband, Gregg, not being able to adopt the baby of the women in the April 13 episode. But I believe Jake and Gregg are going to adopt Sammie. Or at least I hope they do. Speaking of which, it broke my heart into millions of little pieces when Sammie told Jake to not leave her. We’ve seen Jake already interact with kids and we know how amazing he will be as a father. I really do hope he and Gregg adopt Sammie. Plus, I want to see Bell as a grandfather.

Speaking of Bell, I LOVE how far he has come. I love how the show redeemed him and made him grow as a character. I love the different layers of him. Including the layer of him with Kit! The fact he was even apart of Mina’s sendoff is huge in my opinion. 

I’m going to pivot and talk about Cain for a moment. I know tends to always have a “villain” / big bad and Morris Chestnut, does an amazing job at it. Even as they are showing a some of his softer sides every so often, he still is the “bad guy”. It’s interesting to have that bar scene between Billie and Cain on 4/27 episode. I’m surprised he opened up so easily about it. Excited to see Billie being Cain’s resident, this is going to be fun.

I LOVE seeing Kit as CEO. I love how she challenged the board and gave them a piece of her mind when she realized there was no females interviewing for the CEO position. She is the right person for the job and I’m glad they realized it.

Mina, 💔, my heart is broken she left. While I will miss Mina, I’m looking forward to the great things to come from Shaunette Renée Wilson!. I do like in the 4/27 episode we still have Mina very apart of it, even though Shaunette wasn’t physically in it. I really do hope the show keeps this up. It’s a major pet peeve of mine when shows just pretend a character doesn’t exist (more so when they die, but this is rant/post for another time). While Mina didn’t die, her character is woven into all the main characters. Plus, I really love how the door is still open for Mina/Shaunette to come back.

AJ, my heart breaks for him. Not going to lie, I really do want to see him go off on Cain. The episode where he confronts Cain and Cain tries to call it off and can’t. I got excited. I feel like we always knew Cain was a softie but it was nice to see, you mess with my life I’ll fuck up yours, especially when he gave him the benefit of the doubt. 

Devon, I want him to have a resident of his own. I guess we see this a little with his interaction with Leela, but not a lot. I do want him to find love, whether it be with Leela (which seems to be direction they are going) or with whomever. I miss his interaction with Conrad and that bromance. 

Billie, I guess it’s nice she’s back. I would like more of her backstory and her friendship with Nic. I feel I can’t say much of her because we don’t know much about her. Extremely excited though to see her give Cain a run of his money, with her being his resident.

Finally CoNic! 💚💚💚💚💚! What can I say about my two. First I love seeing Conrad being extremely protective of Nic and the baby! Not surprised one bit Conrad throw himself on top of Nic in the 4/27 episode. I know he would have done that even if she wasn’t pregnant. We know from the little things he has done he is going to be the most amazing and wonderful dad to his baby girl. I will say I feel like it’s been lacking for a while seeing Nic and I miss that (I get she’s pregnant but still). Nic is going to be amazing mother. My heart breaks for her she won’t have her sister Mina there for her. But come on we all know Nic is going to be sending Mina pictures 24/7 (assuming Conrad or AJ doesn’t bet her to it). Yes I said AJ because you know they’ll be sharing/showing pictures of their beautiful baby daughter. 

I will say I think their daughter will be born in the last episode of the season and that makes me sad. The reason why is because I’m choosing to believe the show will come back for season 5 and most likely we’ll have a time jump. Which I want us to be able to soak up as much time and chances we can get of CoNic being parents. 

Anyways I’m going to end this here.

PS: Why can’t I do this for a paper for my classes. LOL

I don’t know what kinda stuff you like so I’ll try and include a range 😂

Some of my favourite books:

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (I will ALWAYS recommend this book to everyone, it’s so unique and beautifully written that I think everyone should read it)

The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood (I studied this at school but it was the only one I actually genuinely enjoyed reading. I love the whole dystopian genre so it was pretty much always gonna be a winner for me. It was written in the 80s but the discussion about body autonomy it brings up is even more relevant today)

P.S I Love You by Cecelia Ahern (it’s a really gorgeous story about grief and love and the book is a fair bit different from the movie so I will always recommend giving the book a go)

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (it’s really magical, the way she uses words to create such beautiful scenes is really amazing)

And some TV shows

Brooklyn Nine Nine (favourite ever, I always come back to it when I need a pick me up)

The Good Place (at first glance, it sounds kinda boring but there are SO many twists that it’s actually really exciting and it’s funny at the same time as looking at very real ethical dilemmas)

One Day at a Time (it’s HILARIOUS and deals with a BUNCH of issues like sexuality, ptsd, alcoholism and anxiety, among other things, without losing its humour)

Santa Clarita Diet (it’s. Basically a modern day family dealing with one of them becoming a zombie and learning how to deal with that. It’s funny and relatable somehow and I love it)

These are just off the top of my head, I can probably recommend a bunch more so it be up if anyone needs a rec 😂😂

i think my most unpopular opinion about 911 (and knowing this isn't as unpopular as other opinions) is that i was fine with most/all of buck's girlfriends? there's definitely a post i wish i could find that talks more eloquently and in depth about it but yeah theyre mostly fine!

i almost thought your header was a picture of a band until i realized it was the leverage crew!!!!! it's so hard finding people who like the show :)))))

Actually, I think the Leverage Crew is sort of like a band.

Nate is the drummer, he lays down a track that guides the rest of the team through the con. His steady drum beat plays throughout to keep them on time and on track with an occasional burst in tempo when there’s a little extra action or drama. He also knows how to motivate the other band members to perform at their best.

Parker is on keyboards, the chameleon of instruments. She can change and maneuver her way in and out of any situation and adaptability is her middle name, much the same as how she can effortlessly harmonize with her bandmates. 

Hardison plays lead guitar because he likes to attract attention with his sick skills. He’s a little bit of a showboat and he has a lot of solo parts. He provides backup vocals for Sophie with an occasional (more than occasional really) embellishment to the rhythm.

Eliot is on bass. Often overlooked and misunderstood, he holds the rest of the crew together while performing with fewer strings (I mean, would you expect anything else?). He works closely with Nate to keep a steady rhythm during the con, and to keep Nate in check when needed.

Sophie is, of course, the lead singer. She is the one the rest of the team follows and listens (although Nate is the brains, Sophie is who they trust) she has the most style and is the confident voice.

And there is a small but loyal Leverage community here and we’re all still waiting for the Leverage Movie (that is definitely going to be made you cannot convince me otherwise). 

I had my orgo exam yesterday morning (it was terrifying!! no one should take orgo!!) but I literally took a break from studying at 5 AM just to read "i'll walk through hell with you" because your fic is so good! the writing is amazing! so thank you for making my morning better and calming me down before the exam :)))))
