Im Januar gab es nicht so viel Neues. Eigentlich nur 2 Spiele. „Settlément“ hat mich vom Thema überzeugt: Siedlung Bauen, unbekannte Länder erforschen und Ressourcen verwalten. Erinnert mich an „Die Siedler“, ein PC-Spiel, mit dem ich groß geworden bin. Bin gespannt, wie es mir gefällt. „Warhammer Underworlds“ habe ich aus zwei Gründen gekauft: Ich brauche eine kleine Armee für ein Malprojekt, das ich mir in den Kopf gesetzt habe, und ich finde das Thema Tabletop extrem spannend, allerdings fehlt mir die Zeit dafür. Aber um Erfahrungen in diesem Bereich zu sammeln, ist „Warhammer Underworlds“ hoffentlich genau richtig. LinkediN Article: My 1st steps to becoming a Leader It seems the role of leadership has always come naturally to me. Seems I started young, being very independent and always feeling I had much to prove. Let's step back though as I was 1st a Follower when I started to follow in my father's footsteps as a Man. I always admired his service in the military as a 30 year Marine in the Corp. I certainly took after him in his desire to lead others. But 1st I learned to be an excellent follower. I would always follow directions given by my parents and teachers as well as respecting my elders and other respectable influences. After perfecting being a follower I started to see where I differed and excelled. I began to see and feel my gifts as they emerged. Always a loner by design I mastered the ability to gain the trust of others and to gain credibility through my honesty and actions. As I matured I found my way into positions of Management. Throughout my management roles people have always found a profound liking of me, how I do things and have always seemed to gravitate towards me. It's all about how you carry yourself. It's about serving and helping others 1st. It's a balance of certainty/confidence of what is your weight to carry and what is not. There is an air that one carries which attracts others to follow their calls to action or delegation of duties. It's all about empathy/respect on your part and trust/respect on their part in my view. Leadership is about making others better. It's about serving others before ourselves. After all no one needs a BOSS! And why would you wish to be one? @adventurous.miss has been training for her first independent road trip for all her life. We have been everywhere together, literally everywhere (litterally in N. America). She knows how to live as a traveler better than anyone her age (or twice that). But as much as I know she is ready for this adventure; it’s still hard seeing her drive away.
