a/n: i hope you don’t mind, i ended up setting this after the events of Solo, on the island setting (numidian prime) at the end of the movie.

Y/n and Lando’s relationship was…..interesting.

They had come together to help their mutual acquaintance Han Solo, but somehow they never parted ways. After the job was done, Y/n went back to Numidian Prime with Lando, for reasons even they could not define.

But despite living on the same island, Y/n and Lando were not friends. They weren’t enemies, but there was no real connection there. When the pair did run into each other in the casinos or at mealtimes, their short conversations were full of banter and jokes.

And then of course there was the nights; neither could really remember how it started, but soon it became typical for one to show up at the other’s door late at night. Then the would spend a few hours providing a distraction or a fun time, and the visitor would leave before the sun even shone through windows. These intimate late-night rendezvous were never spoken about by either Lando or Y/n; it was simply just part of their strange dynamic.

But with time, Y/n’s heart made the fatal mistake: developing feelings. It started small, a flutter in their heart, an extra appreciation of his beauty when they were together. But then Y/n started craving Lando, wanting his time and his touch all the time, not just in the few unspoken hours.

But Lando was untouchable; even though it was Y/n’s bed he consistently came to, the latter knew he only did it from convenience. Lando could and would sleep with any guy, girl, or person he wanted to. He wasn’t the man to settle down, to want strings attached. So Y/n protected themself, not wanting the letdown they knew would come if they admitted their feelings.

And then Finon showed up. He was everything Y/n could want; he was handsome, he was sweet, and he cared. And Finon had genuine feelings for them. So Y/n took the opportunity to finally move on from their one-sided feelings. Their days and nights were soon taken up by Finon, enjoying being with him and by his side.

It was one of these nights that Y/n returned to their home, a small smile on their face as they smelled the bouquet of flowers Finon had left them with as they parted. But as they approached their door, an unexpected surprise was leaning against the doorframe.

“Lando?”

The man was staring at the floor when Y/n approached, but at the sound of their voice he looked up. He gave them a smile, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. Y/n’s heart twisted with worry, but their head was more confused at why he was there.

“Heya Y/n.” Lando greeted, his hand giving a little wave. “Mind if I come in?”

Y/n let out a deep sigh, shaking their head as they stepped up to their door and unlocked it. "I can't tonight, I'm tired. I'm sure there are lots of other people--"

"I'm not here for that." Lando breathlessly uttered, placing his hand on the door in front of Y/n. His eyes were dark with emotion and desperation, his face silently pleading with Y/n. "I just...wanted to talk to you."

A million questions swirled in Y/n's mind, but slowly they nodded and walked into their home, letting him follow. Something was very wrong, but in a way Y/n felt honored that Lando came to them, trusted them.

Lando took a seat on Y/n's couch, running his hands over his face. Y/n carefully sat next to him, confusion and concern filling their face. Lando looked at Y/n, his eyes dark with emotions.

“Had a fun night?” He asked suddenly, nodding towards the flowers.

Y/n looked down at the flowers, having forgotten them in their hands in the midst of this strange occasion. “Oh, well, yes.” They quickly said, a little taken aback by the randomness of the question.

“Does he make you happy?” Lando asked, eyes searching Y/n’s. His gaze was intense and unwavering, and there was a sense of desperation in his eyes.

Y/n didn’t immediately answer, instead taking a moment to think. Finon did indeed treat them well, but it was Lando that made their heart flutter, that they yearned for. “He‘s very good to me.” They finally said, voice quiet as they pulled away their gaze.

“Do you love him?”

“Why do you want to know?”

Suddenly, Lando’s hand came up and gently grasped Y/n’s chin, forcing them to look at him. “Do you love him?” He asked again, eyes searching Y/n’s for the truth.

Y/n’s heart skipped a beat, the warm touch of his hand on their face sudden, but quite nice. His gaze was so intense, so genuine, that they couldn’t help but answer truthfully. “No.” Y/n whispered. “But I want to.”

Lando looked concerned at that answer. “And why is that?” He said quietly, his face coming a little closer to their’s.

“Because Finon’s good to me. He cares about me, he treats me well, and he probably could give me a good life.” Y/n explained, forcing everything in their being to not look anywhere else but Lando’s eyes.

Lando leaned in even closer, his lips ghosting over Y/n’s. “But I love you.” He whispered.

Shock flooded Y/n’s body, the suddenness of this confession hitting them. “What?”

Lando smiled, shaking his head a little. “I love you Y/n. I love the way your forehead creases when your confused, I love the way you laugh, I love the way you look. My body and my soul yearn for you, and I feel complete with you.” He said softly, eyes never leaving Y/n’s. “But if it’s Finon you want, then I’ll leave without another word. But I will always be wanting you more.”

With those words, Y/n could not hold back any longer, instead pressing their lips to Lando’s. He didn’t miss a beat, his free hand coming and sliding around their waist. He pulled Y/n closer, pressing their lips together slowly and deeply. It was beautiful, being together in this personal and loving way.

Y/n broke off for just a moment, smiling against Lando’s lips. “I love you too.” They said softly.

A wide grin spread across Lando’s face, happiness filling him. With a laugh of joy, he picked up Y/n, carrying them off the couch and back into their bedroom. He gently set them down, crawling on top of them.

“I promise, I’ll make you the happiest person alive my love.” Lando swore to Y/n. He leaned down, arms wrapping around Y/n as he kissed them with all the love and passion that he had.

La dua frazo ĝis tiam ne povus esti kompletigita de mi ĉar mi ne sciis. Sed ĉi ĉapitro instruis ĝuste ĉi tion, la pasiva formo:

«Sacci in umeris servorum portari non possunt.»

Kiel estas bone vidi la progreson, vidi ke pli kaj pli la eblo de skribi pli kompleksajn frazojn kreskas.

Same kiel la portugala, la hispana, kaj la itala (kaj certe aliaj latinaj lingvoj), la verbo «voli» estas neregula. Mi konsideras ĝin kiel la unua, ne la verbo «esse» ĉar ĉi verbo estas tre-tre baza.

Ili volas = volunt

La granda kvanto de sinonimoj

Anstataŭ quia, nam kaj quod. Anstataŭ quoque, etiam. Anstataŭ cantare, canere. Anstataŭ et, -que. Kaj tiel plu. Sed ili estas nur sinonimoj, do ne ekzistas reala problemo, ĉu? Hmmm, ne. Mi priparolas la latinan ĉi tie. Mi certas ke, eble ne ĉiuj, sed multaj el ĉi sinonimoj ne signifas precize la samon. Bona ekzemplo estas quoque kaj etiam. Sole la libro ne sufiĉas; lernante preter la libro

Kaj "lernante preter la libro" estas ĉar mi komencos lerni vortojn kaj verbojn rete, ĉar, jes, la libro multe helpas kaj instruas, sed la procezo estas iomete malrapida. Ekzemple estas vortoj kiujn mi volas scii, kiel la baza verbo "scii", kaj en unua kaj dua persono singulara, kaj poste plurala. Mi ne kredas ke ĝi estas iri tro malproksime. Verboj latine havas ŝablonon en ĝia konjugacio.

Ne plu nur ablativo?

Ĉiam post «in» venas vorto en ablativa kazo, sed okazis io malsama:

«Quintus in arborem ascendit»

Akuzativa kazo. Kion mi pensas estas: ĝi memorigis min Esperanto. Esperante, kiam vi skribas ion rilatan al movo ien, vi uzas akuzativon. Eble latine vi devas uzi akuzativon ankaŭ kiam iu aŭ io moviĝas sur io. Kinto moviĝas sur arbo, do «arbo» devas esti en akuzativo.

La rakonto finiĝas kun Kinto sur lito. Kaj, donante intrigmalkaŝon de la sekva ĉapitro (ĉar mi ne rezistas kaj ĉiam vidas rapide kio estas sekve), en ĝi aperas kuracisto, kiu ekzamenas Kinton kaj faras procedon por provi plibonigi lin.
