Stede is gearing up to leave his life on Earth in his endeavour to pilot the Horizon One. A ship in which he will spend the next five years on observing a breach in space.

Edward is serving the twentith year of a life time sentence on the ICARUS, a prison ship where his only companions are robots and a somewhat homicidal AI named IZY.

When Ed gets a ping that there is a ship nearby, he almost loses whats left of his mind at the prospect of talking to an actual human, and Stede, well, he's just glad he's not as lonely as he was on a planet surrounded by eight million people.

decided to clean up that gary sketch a wee bit and colour it funfacts about this AU! (renuion AU) - John dies later on in this au, he lives to Gary’s late teens (18 - 19), he takes him away from earth because the infinity guard is acting suspicous as fuck. On one of these adventures they go to Ventrexia, and meet Avocato pre him blowing the fuck up out of the planet. They fall in love, but they have to part ways, and then life blows up for the both of them and they dont end up meeting again for years after that - John was right to be suspicous! Infinity Guard blew their ship up, John died and Gary was severly injured - Gary’s injuries include both his right arm and eye- He got a prospethic eventually, as well as cybernetic enchantsments in both eyes. His left lets him see through walls when activated, his right gives him heat vision. His vision is still fucked in his right so he still wears an eyepatch over it. - John was crushed under the ship, and Gary couldn’t even get his body out. He had to leave him there. Gary pretty quickly turned to a life of crime (they thankfully crashed on a planet good for that), and now feels too guilty to visit his Dads grave because he feels like a dissapointment (so he doesn’t notice Avocato’s fleets finding the crashsite, extracting the body, and Avocato making a proper grave for both him and Gary) - He ends up stealing a prison ship to use as his own, aka, the Galaxy One! HUGH misidentifies him as a prisoner and it takes him a month to realise that Gary just whole ass stole him and basically IS GENUINELY the captain.

when little cato gets sick he stays with Sol and Ash (because his parents don't trust him to be left home alone and he gets really high fevers)

So 3 questions. I don't remember now but i think you have your own version for Avocato's first son in the Epilogue AU right? So anyway:

1 question- Is he really dead dead, or is he actually alive somewhere?

2 question- What would he had thought of the Team Squad (specifically Little Cato and Gary) if he had got to meet them?

3-How would he had looked like if he was Little Cato's age? (This one i'm asking in case you alreadt drew him the same age as Little Cato before. If not then you don't need to answer this one)

1 - Yes, unfortunately in Epilogue at least, Avocato’s first son is gone along with his first partner. Taken too soon during the war.

2 - Purrito, his son’s name, I feel would absolutely love the team squad if he was around. He was always bright eyed and bushy tailed, much like Little Cato only slightly more shy. He loved gardening and technology.

3 - While I don’t have any art of him when he’s older, I do have some of him as Avocato would remember him❤️

Final space is one of my favourite cartoon shows and I'm so glad it's getting an ending ( the graphic novel is on my birthday list ), the Catos are two of my favourite characters, but I felt that they were getting too much suffering from the writers and were basically treating them like punching bags, I didn't like Avocato's death(s) or that he got possessed by Invictus or the reveal that Little Cato wasn't he biological son ( I also didn't like the time skip thing in episode 4 of season 2 ) so I did a redesign of Little Cato, which will be part of AU where he is Avocato's biological son and has a little bit less trauma.

Basically I just want these ventrexians bois to be happy
