Be nice to the rats

To the dear people who are using the service of the Fic Finders.

I understand. You found paradise in the Mad Haven. You had a good place to find lost fics without browsing the tags on AO3, you even got good recommendation out of it. The rats brought you links and there were good fics.

So you didn't need to be polite. Now you come and say "I want X fics with X tropes and no X.” But you don't ask with respect. You don't say “Could you...” You don’t say “Hi.” You don’t say “Please”. You don't even think to be nice to the rats. You come into my inbox on the day my WIP is making me insane and you order us to find fics.

So, to be clear... I have noticed an increase of anons who just state what kind of fics they want in a very blunt way. When you keep receiving asks like those, you quickly graduate from “Oh, they are a little blunt or were too excited. It’s okay.” to the feeling of someone snapping their fingers and expecting to get served fics ASAP, which is extremely irritating.

I am not asking for much. I am not even asking for a please every time. Just a hint of politeness. A “Do you know a fic that...”. A “please.” A “Hello” or “Hi”. Cheese emoji. Anything, really, to indicate you’re talking to someone.

this is going to sound insane and i apologize if you’re not the right place to ask- but i needed help finding a ghoap fic on ao3 😭

it’s something along the lines of soap getting kidnapped and then ghost rescues him, but he makes a dramatic entrance by knocking out all the lights, and soap is like “you should be scared of ghost” and boom he’s there to kill the enemy

I'm desperately looking for a Codywan fic that I have loved, and hoping that can be found.

It is where the sith are in control of the republic, and instead of Jedi leading the clones it's the sith.

It's very smutty, and both obi and the clones are considered 'dark'.

Hihi! So sorry, but I kind of need to use your fic finders for something. I've just finished the fic "The Family You Choose" by TunaFishChris, which has the Gaang as platonic soulmates that kind of time-travel, but most of if is from Zuko's POV.

But I'm like 80% sure there was a companion fic where the same story is told from the Gaang's POV? But I can't find it. Please let me not have hallucinated that fic!

Hello, I hope whoever sees this post has a good day! Though beyond my hoping for you to have a good day, I’m also hoping for a little help.

I’m trying to find a fanfiction that’s from the Undertale fandom. It’s a Sans x reader fanfiction. I can remember so many details of the story, but the title just escapes me every time I try to remember! T^T

I remember that the reader (written with she/her pronouns when it wasn’t you/your) had in the beginning left because of being fired for not allowing her creepy boss to continue hitting on her, and then got kicked out of her apartment by creepy boss’s relative, his mother if I recall that bit right, and then decided to buy some hiking equipment and go to Mt. Ebott. Reader is the replacement for Frisk but has more than just DETERMINATION if I recall right, having all types. The biggest thing I remember about the reader is that she had very low HP, 2 if I recall right.

For this fic, I Believe its a oneshot/twoshot of a Vampire, Non-bio Dad For One. AFO learns that Izuku's blood can turn others into vampires and AFO decides to take him under his wing. Shigiraki and the rest are hesitant but they all decided to show their loyalty to him by pouring their blood over his head.

Are yall still active TT Came back to my knb phase (blame netflix) and need help finding fics i read years ago

1) kuroko x gom as stepbrothers? Angsty, has kuroko pining and running away? Kuroko drops a cup. I remember author dropping the story.

2) kuroko goes missing and gom go hunting for him, finds him in a ditch? In a park somewhere? And decide to start taking care of him? And kuroko is supposed to join each of their schools temporarily.

3) takao and kuroko as best friends? Kuroko went to apologise to takao after a match (pre-seirin) and somehow they become best friends?

Can someone PLEASE help me find a maribat fic where Marinette is Guardian and she goes to Gotham to vent and the Batfam and justice League confront her.

It also puts Luka in a bad light and she tells them about Hawkmoth and the Miraculous and she doesn't know about a situation with Luka is happening.

So when an Akuma alert happens she lets Barbara use the Fox Miraculous and Tim the Snake Miraculous and leaves for Pairs and Sass and the rest of the Kwami tell them what's going on.

And the Kwami tell Tim how to use the Snake miraculous to find out why Marinette can't trust Luka because Luka ordered Sass to not talk about what he's been doing.

When Tim sees what's going on he violently vomits and tells them Luka was using the Snake to assult Marinette.

“You went through… some awful things,” Wu Ming says, obviously choosing his words carefully. “I think your mind is responding this way to protect you.”

Xie Lian nods. That sounds realistic, with what he knows. “I still wish I could remember,” he sighs. Does he have a family? Friends? Does he have duties he’s neglecting?

“If gege will let me,” Wu Ming says, “I’ll stay with him until he remembers.”

Deep in the heart of the city of ghosts, a chisel breaks stone. Alone in the candlelit studio, Hua Cheng bows over the remaining boot and chips away slivers of veined marble. @findingstony! i need help finding this fic. looking for a rape aftermath fic (mcu) where steve is mind-controlled (I want to say biologically? like a virus or a fungus or a parasite or something), keeps some of the avengers (DEFINITELY tony and nat) in avengers tower and the fic is a remembering of the events after steve has been returned to normal and a telling of the aftermath. there is no reconciliation other than steve deciding his crimes are unforgivable and estranging himself from the team, and i remember that tony and nat got the worst of it and their friendship features in it. there may be some nat POV. wanna say it’s an older fic (2012-2016) though i could be wrong. it was pretty dark and i’m kicking myself for not bookmarking it. any help appreciated.
