You know, I love Anne's style, especially the 80s and 90s casual outfit BUT..
Peter and Zara and their childhood styles deserve a moment of adoration here, at least in my opinion.
This is the essence of the 80s!
It's once of my favorite Zara's outfit! Not ironically, I would wear it! It's perfect, it has everything I like - bright corduroys, brown shoes and my dream jacket!
Look at this boi! He's ✨ main character ✨ And his fluffity blond hair! ( don't..don't think about it...)
This looks is like "Tell me your mother is Anne without telling me" bcs it's layers - turtleneck, shirt and vest with train! Train! Iconic boi!
Matchy matchy but it's Balmoral! They look cutie! But I'm not a big fan od Balmoral Tartan pattern, I prefer Black Watch ( I mean on Peter's kilt) or Steward, but it's my type. I like that patch on Peter's knee, a lovely accessory!

Oh, we are off to a great start. This is not only one of the hottest girls in this set (and definitely the one with the best hair, jesus), but also everything about this moment makes me feel protective - the apprehension in her expression, the conjunction of the knife and the bandaged arm, the fact that she is evidently attempting some sort of amateur summoning ritual with a salt circle and several raw steaks, which let’s face it, is not going to end well. The interplay between that feeling, then, and the mechanics of the card, which doesn’t really do anything until she dies, so you want to sacrifice her to some other card, is very effective. Yes, she only exists to die doing something instructively ill-advised, but she’s vulnerable, sympathetic, and really, really hot, so you feel something when she does. Art and mechanics working together! This is the kind of thing that makes Magic special. 10/10 would do something occult and ill-advised in a barn with her any night.

And while I still retain my extremely justified bitterness over how that story fridged the hottest angel in Magic canon, I was definitely on some fucking brainrot at the time, like. Look at this bit from the intro:

Conquer and Jessie could already hear the crowd as they waited at the stop sign beside the abandoned Surf Shack. When they continued toward the grocery store, and the Jeep’s high beams lit up a number of sims on foot, Conquer knew Cruzita’s parking lot was packed with cars and he needed to find somewhere else to park. Reversing, he pulled the Wrangler off to the side of the road, killed the engine and then motioned for Jessie to hop out.
They walked the rest of the way to Rebecca’s Cafe and Roller Rink split off in two different directions once they saw the number of patrons. Jessie headed toward the line to get food. Conquer weaved around happy families in search of a table. The later found an empty chair across from Darrlynn, who smiled over a plate of mostly eaten wings. He could only hope Cruzita’s prized morning cook would abandon her chair for the rink once she completely emptied her plate, and to make that a bit more likely Conquer got to chatting the older woman up.
By the time Jessie had acquired plates, the chair across from Conquer was empty, and he happily took it, sliding pop and wings to his bestfriend who wolfed down his food much faster than he did.
Most in attendance were either natives of the little sister or vacationers Conquer was familiar with. Once he disposed of his plate, Conquer left Jessie to finish his. He then went about greeting folks before joining his art teacher on the rink, skating backwards to show off to Honey’s 6 year old, Emily.
When Conquer thought to get back to Jessie, his bestie had already found some company. Jessie spent the rest of the night spinning with two sisters, he’d meant on the boat on the way to the islands. Once most of the families had headed home, and Yvette announced the kitchen was closing, Jessie said his goodbyes, returned his skates and rescued Conquer from an awkward conversation with Zara.
When Jessie noticed the young woman was still checking Conquer out as they passed by in the Jeep to take the ferry back to the central Isle, Conquer just replied “Young, child, baby, infant, fetus.”
Jessie had a good laugh at that.

Hi fandom, it's time to talk!
Oh yeah we're back here and I'd like to talk about Alex's character, my favorite.
I would like to make a general analysis about her, because it is so nice to share my impressions with you.
Let's start from the beginning, the first time we see her, she asks where she is her mother. Her mother, Melanie, who managed to penetrate the thick layer of ice created by Wilford in just one season, came to Alex's island and came ashore.
Melanie is the opposite of Wilford, supports her, encourages her, teaches her what she can in the short time she has, she takes care of her emotionality and reassures her.
She had probably never experienced all this, a supportive parent, a parent with whom she could give space to her emotions, she was used to repress what she feels, to always be ready for the train, for orders, depending on what Wilford decided.
Being locked in a cage made her think a lot, it's terrible that she has never seen a woman of power on the Big Alice, we must think that she grew up in a totally distorted reality.
I've always seen Melanie and Wilford as two flames, and Alex is in between.
Alex is forced to choose between the two people she considers her parents, Wilford, a narcissistic and sadistic father who wants total command over her feelings and separates her from Melanie; her mother, her light, the person she considers a true leader, it cost her a hard slap for it and it's terrible that Wilford put his hands up on her, which suggests that he already has.
In the series they have been great at putting such a delicate comparison between Melanie stroking her cheek and Wilford slapping her.
I am sure that Wilford as an old dandy goat has strong convictions that a father must be the hard part of the parenting couple, that the woman must be a mother and must be careful what she eats and drinks while pregnant, in fact we see how she locks Zara in her cabin (for her "convenience") or we realize it when Audrey tells her that he believes alcohol can turn the fetus into a tadpole (such old beliefs!)
Melanie is so intelligent and empathetic, they are both Wilford's victims and this has tied them even more, it is exciting how Melanie sees in Alex her own frailties and insecurities, especially in following tough orders like to detach the Big Alice from the Snowpiercer. She is sweet because she cuddles and hugs Alex and oh yes, she would need so many to repair all her damage.
I burst into tears when Alex told Wilford "that's not true, I am both", in that desperate voice, looking for a part of Dubs, impossible to find in one of his many delusions.
Because yes, in my opinion Alex is just the perfect fusion between Wilford and Melanie, she took the best of both and will surely know how to exploit it all, for me she is the right person to take Melanie's place and lead humanity.

bre boys and decorating the nursery
Billy Russo: Billy acts like he’s not that interested in decorating, but he 100% is looking up nursery stuff when he’s at work. He buys a bunch of stuff online and surprises you with it when it’s delivered to the house, and he refuses to let you do any of the work in setting it up. Once it’s finished, he stands back and stares at it, proud that he could provide this for you--for both of you.
Logan Delos: Money isn’t an object, so the nursery is exactly what you wanted and then some. Logan hires artists and sculptors to make the nursery completely unique, and once it’s done, he has an unveiling for you because he’s dramatic and I love him.
Jax Teller: Jax pretty much keeps the nursery the same as it was for Abel and Thomas, adding a few things for the new baby. He loves that he has Opie’s hand-me-downs and some of the boys’ old things for the new baby, loves the tradition of it. If there’s anything you want to add or purchase, Jax gets it quickly, wanting this to be your vision and a project for both of you to be happy with.
Coco Cruz: Coco pretty much leaves it all up to you. He gives you a wad of cash and his blessing, and lets you do what you want as far as picking things out. You, Coco, and Letty set the nursery up, and it’s a nice few days of bonding for the three of you (four if you count the fetus). Coco paints the Mayans logo on the wall, and when the room is done, it quickly becomes his favorite room in the house.
Angel Reyes: Angel does everything from scratch: the crib, the changing table. He and EZ set everything up while you sit in the homemade rocking chair and watch. As soon as Angel comes home from the clubhouse, he’s taking his shirt off and heading to the nursery to get to work. It truly is a labor of love for him, and Angel is more than happy to do it.
Miguel Galindo: Miguel gives you full rein on the nursery, but he likes discussing the plans and helping you pick through things. The two of you sit side by side at night in bed, his arm around you, as you scroll through your phone and show him your ideas. He orchestrates the actual building of the nursery and surprises you with it one day. “Is it what you wanted, mi amor?” He asks. You nod, hugging him. “It’s better than what I wanted. Thank you, Miguel.”
Nick Amaro: You and Nick spend hours making up the nursery. It takes a bit longer than he originally planned because he keeps stopping to kiss on you. He still has some of Zara’s baby furniture, but he loves building the nursery with you. It really makes him feel like he’s building a solid future with you, and it helps him feel more secure in your relationship, and he needs that feeling. Once it’s done, he feels such a sense of pride and security, and he can’t wait till he can bring his baby home.
Johnny Tuturro: Johnny goes overboard. This is his first child, and he’s all set to spoil them. The two of you spend days on end sending each other links and ideas, and when you get together to set up the nursery, Johnny insists on doing all of the heavy lifting. You don’t stop him--obviously. The nursery ends up looking great, and you and Johnny regularly hang out in there because it’s so comfortable.
Rio: Rio loves how excited you are about the nursery. He definitely lets you take the lead, but he has an input too. The two of you build the crib together, but he does the rest--the painting, and rearranging and whatnot. You christen the room because... yeah. But you cleaned it really well after! Anyway, it ends up looking really amazing, so much so that your friends ask if Rio will do theirs...to which he replies “nah”. His baby’s nursery cannot be recreated, and he refuses to even try.

Long skirt + oversized sweater is such a 90s teenage set, and it reminds me a lot of my mom who wore the same set as Zara. On once of her class pic,my mom had a turquoise sweater and gold pleated skirt. Another Sentimentally / 10

I think this vest and jacket they would fit perfectly in today's fashion and those short down jackets from chain stores in pastel / strong colors (bcs color depends on the season and trends). I also associate them with jackets from @ soniaandthegypsies (THESE JACKETS ARE A DREAM)
