Sweetness
Lo’ak x Metkayina!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Authors note: I meant to make this short and sweet but got way carried away😭 hope you guys enjoy this tho! <3 word count: 4k+
Summary: Neteyams death inevitably changed Lo’ak, making him colder and harsher around you than ever before. He shut everyone around him out, but you being the sweet and soft girl of the village made you want to help him get out of his slump. And you did help, just not in the way you might’ve expected.
Warnings: 18+, MDNI, porn with plot, angst, comfort, mentions of death, mentions of blood, substance use, alcohol, aged up Lo’ak, dom Lo’ak, mean Lo’ak, innocent reader, praises, brief oral, fingering, drunk sex, grinding, whining, virgin reader, first time (p in v)
Lo’ak struggled with Neteyams death, that couldn’t be more clear to anyone. The entire Sully family had faced their struggles surrounding the older boy’s death, but they had slowly made peace with it. Lo’ak however, wasn’t even close.
He never got over the feeling of it being his fault. He’s the one who pushed Neteyam to save Spider, the one who couldn’t just let things sit and chase after his own family instead. He wanted to save his friend, and in return, he got his brother killed. Lo’ak felt like even more of a failure than before, like he deserved to be treated like an outcast after having his beloved older brother killed.
He’s chosen to ignore his family and friends, ditching his siblings to get drunk and wallow in his sorrows at whatever private place he could find. Really he wasn’t picky, just as long as people would stop bothering him already. He was sick of the looks he’d get from his own family, the bits of pity accompanied by disgust from the rest of the Metkayina clan.
Never you though. You cared for him, and truth be told you had a bit of a reputation around the clan for being the soft and kind, almost “innocent” cousin of Tsireya and Ao’nung. You were opposite to Lo’ak, never really one to step out of line or do anything that might anger the elders. you didn’t see much of a reason to. You’ve always had a soft spot for the younger Sully boy, mesmerized by how quick he adapted to the way of water, how much effort he put in despite his body not being built for it. He was passionate, rebellious by nature sure, but you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t found it charming. And as his learning went on, you enjoyed occasionally helping to teach him and his siblings, especially when you got to have a few private sessions with him. You were building a friendship, maybe even a small crush arising within you. All right before the tragic death on those rocks.
You’d see Lo’ak wandering around the village at times, but only really to get his hands on food and whatever alcohol he could get, before he’d disappear again. Into the palm trees, to a separated beach, maybe a clearing near a cave. Those were just a few of your guesses.
It bothered you. He was once a fiery, determined ball of energy, never taking anyone’s shit and trusting himself to do what felt right. Yet now, he was always alone and hiding. You couldn’t help but frown and worry. So one night, you see him again, walking through the sand in the general direction of what you assumed was the cove, a bottle clearly in hand. Feeling a little brave, you decided to follow him.
Lo’ak had sat down on a smooth stone ledge overlooking the water. The sun had already set, making your tanhi glow along your soft skin while the moon lit up the scene around you. You timidly walked over to him, sitting down beside him but a little further from the edge with your legs crossed. Neteyam and Lo’ak were the only ones you’ve ever told about your fear of heights. It was something you always thought was a little embarrassing, and they forced the confession out of you when you refused to join them on a ride on Neteyams ikran. You can’t help but feel a little guilty passing that up now.
Lo’aks gaze was cold, his face showing little emotion while he started out into the water. His eyes had been bloodshot, from the alcohol or lack of sleep you didn’t know, but it was a sight that made your stomach churn either way. You glanced down to his lap, seeing the now half-empty bottle sat between his legs.
His thoughts were looming over his head, the alcohol doing little to settle the pit in his stomach. That night was all he could ever think about. The pained scream of his mother, the hurtful “you’ve done enough” his father had muttered, feeling Neteyams heart stop beating underneath his palms, his hands wet with his brothers blood-
“Lo’ak?” Your quiet, velvety soft voice broke the silence. You looked up at him with your big green eyes, your lip permanently a little pouty as the cold breeze blew through your curly hair. “Hm?” He grunted, not really looking in your directed as he took another swig from the bottle. You swallowed thickly, before asking your question.
“Can I stay for a little?” Your voice sounds almost nervous, like he’d snap or bite at you if you pissed him off. He couldn’t help but feel frustrated at this, taking a deep breath to settle his emotions. He turned to look at you, his vivid amber eyes faded into something more dull. “Actually, y/n, I kind of came here to be alone.”
You huffed out a breath, trying not to let the rejection get to you once he turns away again. Instead, you sit a little closer, letting your feet dangle off the edge as your heart starts racing in your chest. He cocked a brow at this, surprised that the village good girl didn’t listen for once. That, and the fact that he knew how scared you were of heights. Wether he’d want to admit it or not, Lo’ak had always noticed you tried to make everything better, even when it seemed impossible.
“People are worried, you know” You say quietly, your voice less shaky now that you managed to calm your heartbeat, trying to focus on him and the sound of the waves rather than how high you were up on these cliffs. “I don’t care, y/n” He scoffed, sipping on the bottle again, hardly feeling the liquid burn his throat anymore.
You furrowed your brows at that, looking at the side of his face again as you spoke. “I know that’s not true, Lo’ak. You’ve never been careless. I understand you’re hurting, you have every right to, but-“
He cut you off with a scowl, turning his head towards you “Oh, do i? Because according to my father, I’m the one who got us all into this mess. You say everyone is worried, but who exactly is everyone, y/n? Because it sure as hell isn’t my family, and your clan has hated me from the fucking start.” He practically snarled, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at you.
You looked at him helplessly, feeling yet another tinge of anxiety from his yelling, but knowing deep down it wasn’t meant to be directed at you. Lo’ak stood from his spot, rubbing his face with his hand, and that’s when you smell the wave of alcohol coming from his form.
“Just.. just go away, y/n. I really don’t need this right now” He leaned against the cliff wall, his arms crossing in front of his chest as he waited for you to get up and go.
You stood, trying to fight back the tears welling in your eyes. Truth be told, you weren’t really used to having anyone yell at you. You’ve never stepped out of line or disobeyed orders, no one’s ever had a reason to try and punish or intimidate you. You wondered if it may have you come across as weak, or fragile. Two things that you very much were not, regardless of how soft you may be.
“Lo’ak, please” You say, trying to stand your ground. “Please just let me stay. I won’t- I won’t try to force you to talk about it anymore, I promise. I’m just worried about you” You pleaded, the breeze becoming more harsh as you felt shivers go up your arms.
He clenched his jaw, something inside him stopping himself from believing that you had good intentions. “why?” He uncrossed his arms, scoffing as he stood up straight in front of you. “Why are you so fucking worried, y/n?” His voice sounded almost taunting, and you couldn’t figure out why.
“Because you’re never around the village anymore. You’re grieving, and I think-“ He cut you off once again.
“What? That you can fix me? Take me on a special project for your healer training maybe? You realize some herbs and spices can’t make this all go away, right? Sorry I can’t help you crawl further up Ronals ass with your little strive for perfection, y/n, but it just so looks like I’m a problem this clan can’t shake” He growls, every word feeling almost like a dagger to your heart.
“You’re not a problem, Lo’ak” You say gently, trying to keep the calm attitude for him. “I don’t see you as one, I never have. I see so much greatness in you-“
“Save the fucking speech, y/n-“
“Will you just let me talk!”
“…”
You had snapped, tears freely falling down your cheeks now. “Stop treating me like I don’t have feelings! Or like- like you don’t know me! We were friends before all this, you know how much I cared for you, how much i still care for you. It doesn’t matter if every single person in this clan hated you, I care and I worry! And it sucks to see you like this, constant bottle in your hand and the energy and joy completely sucked out of you. It sucks that you walk by me like I don’t matter, that you never talk to me anymore and that you’re always on something. I can’t handle it, and it breaks my heart, so excuse me if I come here to check on you because Im worried!”
He swallowed hard, taking aback by your outburst but trying not to show it. He felt the guilt slowly creep up his skin, watching your shoulders shake with sobs as you let out a much quieter “I worry”, repeating yourself so helplessly. Lo’aks eyes flicked away for a moment before returning to yours. “You shouldn’t” He muttered out, his voice rough as he reached out a hand to wipe the tears from your cheeks.
“I can’t help it” You whisper, sniffling as your lip quivered, your eyes now glossy as you looked up at him. His hand on your cheek made you feel the tiniest spark of comfort. He smiled a little at that, the first almost warm expression you’ve seen on his face in weeks if not months. “Hm, I guess you can’t.”
Lo’ak cupped your face with his free hand, the other still holding the bottle you so desperately wanted to grab and throw over the cliff. He brushed his thumb softly against your cheek, looking into your teary eyes as his heart beat faster. “If you keep getting involved with me like this, you’re going to get hurt, y/n. I think I might have a bit of curse on me” He tried to joke, but you saw past the slight smile.
“Then we’ll let that be my lesson” you say sternly, reaching a delicate hand to hold onto his wrist as you stayed close to him. “Alright, fine. You win, princess” He sighed, before letting go of you and moving back down to where he was sitting, looking back at you as an unspoken invitation to join him.
you padded over to where he was, shivering slightly as the night wore on, the stone cold against your skin. His eyes were on you, seeing the shiver on your skin from the cold as you tugged a little on the sheer sleeves from the woven top you wore.
“You cold?” He asked, observing your shivering form. You looked at him, shrugging a little, trying not to seem needy or like you were disturbing the newfound peace. He smirked a little, offering you the nearly empty bottle.
You made a face at that. “No thanks. I’m not much for drinking” you look back down at your lap, fiddling with the little pearls hanging from your loincloth.
“Have you ever tried it?” He asked, not necessarily pushing, but definitely holding a teasing tone over you. You shook your head no.
He leaned back, snickering a little bit as he closed his eyes, enjoying the breeze on his flushed skin. “Fuck..” He muttered under his breath, opening his eyes to quickly look at you before focusing back on the water beneath them.
“what?” you ask, furrowing your brows in slight confusion. “you’re just so fucking innocent. Like, shielded or something” He smirked, shaking his head slightly. You scoffed a little at that, your lips pouty again. “what, so now i’m not interesting because I haven’t had any messed up traumatic stories?” you crossed your arms as you looked at him.
“Never said that” He replied, still not looking at you. “Then what are you trying to imply with that?” He licked his teeth before looking at you with another smirk, his fangs momentarily on display. “You’re too trusting. Always looking out for everyone else’s well-being before your own. You walk around like some sort of Angel, y/n.” He used a human term, something he did often. You knew one of the few things he bonded over with his dad was studying the language.
“You say that like it’s an insult” You quip back, rubbing your arms for warmth. “Because it is.” He replied, eyes scanning over you. “You’re so naive sometimes that it hurts just looking at. Letting people walk all over you. You deserve better than everything that’s been surrounding us.”
You tried not to let his words bother you, but he really could be so mean sometimes, wether it was intentional or not. Your eyes drift down to the bottle in his lap, feeling a sudden impulse within you as you reach out your hand for it. “give me that”
“what?” he raised a brow, looking at you with a mix of surprise and amusement. “you want a drink?”
“Yes, I do. Now are you gonna share or am I too innocent for even a sip?” you say, your look unwavering.
“Well then” He chuckled, passing the bottle over to you, his eyes never leaving yours. “Go on then. Take a sip.”
You continued holding eye contact with him as you bring the cold bottle to your plump, pink lips, taking a swig before grimacing at the taste, a drop trickling down your chin. “Eywa” you muttered under your breath, the liquid leaving a terrible burn down your throat.
“Fuck, you’re cute” He said, reaching out to wipe off the droplet and licking it off his thumb. A small smile played on his lips. “don’t ever get used to that shit”
“What? It’s totally fine! I hardly even tasted it” You try to assure, taking another sip before practically gagging as the liquid hit your tongue
“yeah, you’re a fucking liar” He laughed softly, reaching out to take the bottle back from you. “we should’ve gotten you something nicer as a first taste. I would’ve mixed it up with that coconut water shit you like” He screwed the lid back on after finishing off the last bit of the bottle.
“you know, you swear a lot” you say, your voice a little more wavered now with the alcohol. He turned away from you, trying not to break into a grin at the slight slurring of your voice. “And alcohol is gross. I stand by what I said earlier” you say, crossing your arms as if to prove a point.
“Good” He replied, smiling at you as he turned his body more to face you, sitting a little closer as he felt the alcohol in his system too, allowing him to feel more comfortable and less of the constant dread and anxiety in his stomach. “Means you’re not used to it.”
“Course I’m not used to it! You said it yourself I’m all naive and innocent” you say in a mocking tone, rolling your eyes at that. He broke into another snicker at that. “you’re so fucking cute when you’re drunk” He whispered, chuckling softly as he leaned in closer to you, his breath fanning across your cheek. “You know, Ive always kinda wanted to see you like this”
You giggle a little, your cheeks flushing from both the alcohol and his comment. “what? drunk?” You ask, lazily tilting your head to look straight at him, your curls becoming messier from the breeze, a few stray pieces falling over your eyes. “Yeah” He laughed, brushing a lock of hair away from your blushing cheek. “mm sounds like you might have a bit of a corruption kink, Lo” you teased, surprising both of you with your unusually bold words.
“Maybe you’re not so wrong about that” He confessed, half joking before continuing “I guess I have a bit of a thing for girls like you. All sweet and gentle. Or more like.. just you” his face has gone a little more serious, looking over your features with an almost predatory gaze.
“and here I thought you were asking me to stay away” you lightly tease, acting like his words from earlier didn’t have an effect on you. “I did, and I meant it. You’re too good for me” He leaned down, his lips almost hovering above yours. “But it’s hard to stay true to that, when you’re sat all cute and flustered ‘cause of me”
Your breath hitches in your throat at the sudden close proximity, leaning in closer to him as you look up at him with that same wide-eyed look that drove him crazy, your lips plump and slightly wet from the alcohol still. “i’m tired of you pushing me away because you think it’s the right thing to do, Lo’ak. S’annoying” you drunkenly mumble, trying to keep yourself from getting too dizzy.
“Well, fuck.” He cursed under his breath, his eyes trailing down to your lips as he gave into the temptation. “maybe it’s time I stop pushing you away then” he whispered, before leaning down to capture your lips in a soft, gentle kiss. You smile against his lips, feeling your chest bubble with excitement as your dainty fingertips come to rest on his chest.
You pulled back a little, a smile on your face as you leaned your forehead against his. “Am i making you feel better?” you ask, prompting him to let out a laugh. “that’s what you’re thinking about?” He teased, leaning in to give you another quick peck. “yeah, sweetness, you’re making me feel better” He murmured, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you closer to him, his other hand burying itself in your curls as he deepened the kiss.
“you taste so god damn sweet, y/n” he groaned, his tongue licking its way into your mouth, practically moaning at the flavour of your lips. You whimpered at his words, desperately trying to keep up with him, shifting til you’re practically in his lap.
Reluctantly, he pulls away and breaks the kiss, gazing down at you with pure lust and adoration in his golden eyes. “You ever let anyone touch you?” he breathed out, his hand holding you close by the back of your neck, your palms still resting on his chest for stability as you shook your head no. “Good” He grinned, his fangs on display as he reached up your back to untie the strings holding your top together.
As he revealed more of your skin, his touch became more possessive and hungry. “i’m gonna make you feel so good, baby.” he growled against your skin, dipping his head down to lick and suck at your neck, tilting your jaw back with his hand to have better access. “you believe me?”
“yes, Lo’ak” you breathed out, your skin feeling hot as you trailed a hand to fist his braided hair. “That’s my girl” he mumbled, his hand moving up to cup your breast, squeezing roughly at the flesh as you let out a whimper. “So fuckin perfect for me”
You moaned softly at the praises, enjoying the feel of his hands on your body as you cup his face and bring his lips back up to yours, desperate to taste him again. He shoved his tongue in your mouth, his hand creeping down your back before untying the strings holding your loincloth together. “lift your hips for me, mama” he murmured against your lips, instantly taking it off and flinging it away once you did. He slowly slid his hand up your thigh, teasingly running his fingers through your folds before letting out a groan. “Eywa, you’re so wet for me”
you gasp softly at the feel of his fingers, leaning your forehead against his as he probed at your opening, before shoving two fingers in, drawing out a yelp from you. “Lo’ak!” you squeal, closing your eyes in pleasure. “fuck, do that again, sweet girl” he groaned, plunging his fingers in and out of you, desperate to hear more of your pretty noises.
you whined and clawed at his shoulders, not used to the feeling of someone else touching you there, soaking it all in as your walls fluttered against his digits. he curled his fingers inside you, watching you nearly unravel in front of him before adding his thumb to rub quick circles into your clit. “oh! Lo’ak! L-Lo! f-fuck!” he smirked as you cursed, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. He thrusted his fingers deeper, pushing faster, seeking out your sweet spot before massaging it with every thrust. You whimpered when you felt his fingertips grazing the spongy spot inside you.
“that’s it mama. gonna cum for me?” He sucked a bruise in your neck, his fangs grazing the skin as he resisted the urge to properly mark you here and now.
“y-yes! mhm!” You moaned, your pussy tightening around his fingers before you let go, crying out his name as you hide your face in his neck.
He slowly pulled his fingers out, shushing your whimpers before flipping you over, your bodies still dangerously close to the ledge, which suddenly just added to thrill of it for you. His breath was heavy as he leaned back down to kiss you, his arm resting on the ground beside your face, almost shielding you in while his other makes quick work to untie his cloth and throw is aside. You looked at him with a dazed expression, taking the time to admire his face and features, feeling your heart skip a beat when his eyes met yours again.
He smiled down at you, brushing his thumb over your lip sweetly, but it seemed like you had other ideas. Your pink tongue darted out to lick the digit and take it in your mouth, making his dick instantly harder, if that was even possible. He groaned at the feeling, beginning to grind his hips against yours, his cock freely gliding through your folds. “Fuck, mama, you’re making it hard to think straight” he cursed, looking down at your wet pussy dripping slick all over him.
“Then don’t” You whined, squirming slightly beneath him from the teasing, feeling your arousal grow as you looked up at him with a pleading expression. “Lo’ak, please.” You whispered, bringing your hands up to wrap around his neck, bringing him closer to you as you pressed sweet kisses along his face, a contrast to the sinful acts you were doing.
Taking your pleas as a sign of consent, he lined himself up with your entrance, pushing in slowly as he let out a growl at your tightness. “Oh, fuck!” He groaned, his head dropping to rest on your shoulder. “fuck mama, you’re so tight. This pussy was made f’me” He pushed himself all the way in, lifting his head back up to look at your face, a hand reaching up to cup your cheek. you had a look of pure bliss on your face, your eyes screwed shut as you adjust to his size, unintentionally holding your breath.
“breathe for me, baby. breathe” He whispered, pressing a sloppy kiss to your cheek before he began to slowly rock his hips into yours. “Lo’ak” you whimpered, clawing at his shoulders. “I know. S’okay, i’ve got you.” he groaned, his voice low, making you feel more butterflies in your stomach as you listened to every word he spoke. “feels so good” you whine out, panting against his lips. He smiled at you, kissing you hotly before pulling away again, looking down to where you were connected.
He couldn’t help but moan at the sight, speeding up his thrusts as he rutted against you, watching your pussy clamp down on him. “Eywa, you’re such a sight” he grunted, looking up at your face as he pushed his cock deeper inside of you, watching your jaw drop out of pleasure. “gonna keep the mental image of you like this forever, princess. all fucked out like this, all ‘cause of me” He dipped his head back down to your neck, trailing kisses down your collarbones and lower, squeezing your breast with his hand while beginning to lap at it with his tongue.
you couldn’t respond, hardly thinking as he fucked every thought out of you, your back arching off the ground as you whined and moaned, clinging to him as he pounded into your pussy. His hands gripped your hips tightly, guiding your movements as he took clear control. “Taking it so well for me, sweet girl”
He angled his hips in a way to hit your sweet spot again, letting go of your nipple with a pop as he moved to the other one, leaving light bite marks along it.
“L-Lo’ak, m’close” you whimper, your eyes still screwed shut as you feel his tongue licking and tracing at your breasts, your chest covered in bite marks. “yeah? let me feel it. cum f’me, cum all over me. be a good girl” he muttered the filth against your skin, trailing his tongue back up to your neck, his fangs grazing over it again as he planned out the spot to mark you. “wanna feel you shake against me, y/n. all around my dick. you won’t let me down, yeah?” He whispered in your ear, thrusting faster as he felt his abdomen tighten, knowing he was close but holding back til he got you there first.
“mm y-yes, yes Lo” you breathed out, whining and gasping as you felt your thighs shake, your pussy tightening around him before you reached your high, tightening your legs around his waist “ohhh fuuuuck!” you cry out, not caring about how loud you were being as he fucked you through it.
“shit! fuck, mama, where do you want it?” he strained, biting his bottom lip to try and hold back as his hips sputtered. you looked up at him, your lips swollen from his kisses and face slightly dewy as you open your mouth, indicating it for him. “Eywa, help me” he muttered, groaning at the implication as he traced your perfect lips with his finger before pressing a rough kiss to them.
Once he was on the verge of climax, he quickly pulled out, cupping your face with a shaky hand as you sat up on your knees for him. He aligned his dick to rest on your lips as he pumped his cock, before throwing his head back and cumming in your mouth with a groan. His hand brushed through your hair, looking down at you before pulling his hips away from you and kneeling down with you, his free hand still cupping your cheek. He wiped the little dribble of his cum off your lip, smiling at you adoringly, whispering “so fucking pretty” before leaning in to kiss you again.
you hum contently, smiling once he pulls away. you pressed a quick kiss to his cheek, making him let out a laugh at your sweetness even after doing something so filthy. “c’mere” he murmurs, leaning back against the cliff wall as he raises his arm for you. you crawl over, laying down on his chest and nuzzling into him with your face in his neck, closing your eyes as you listen to the sound of the waves below you.

"Jesus Christ, Lo‘ak."
It’s muttered on a sharp exhale as Lo‘ak bends you over one of the desks in the labs.
He makes quick work of your skirt, hunching it over the swell of you ass, pulling your panties down to your ankles. Two fingers are pressed into your mouth and as you suck them wet, you can hear him whispering curses in Na’vi while pulling his own loincloth down enough to free his cock. He’s throbbing painfully, leaking pre-cum after being forced to spend hours watching you work, boss around the other scientists until they finally called it a day and left the two of you alone. The second the door closed behind Norms back, Lo‘ak was on you like an animal in heat.
“You’re so fuckin hot, mamas. In that skirt. Being all bossy and shit.” Lo‘ak pulls his fingers out of your mouth and unceremoniously pushes them deep inside your cunt, making you squeak at the sudden stretch. "If only they could see what a pathetic little slut you are for me. How much you enjoy being used like this. Smart girl loves getting her brain completely fucked out by a big na‘vi cock, am I right?"
You make a strangled gaspy noise when he expertly locates your g-spot and fucks you on his fingers so hard you almost come from this alone. The sound of Lo‘ak spitting into his palm is loud in the quiet labs. The groan he makes after he slicks himself up and pushes inside you is even louder.
"Say thank you, sir", he whispers lowly into your ear, and your response comes out as nothing more than a whimper. It earns you a rough smack, his hand big enough to cover your entire ass cheek with a print of his palm.
"T-Thank you", you gasp, "Fuck! Thank you, sir!"
"Hmh, that’s right, baby", he chuckles.
Lo‘aks thrusts are relentless and rough, and you find yourself on your tiptoes, fingers clawing at the edge of your desk, creaking underneath the sheer force of a grown Na‘vi pounding you against it. It’s entirely possible that your cervix will be bruised after this, considering how big he was compared to you and how hard he was slamming the tip of his cock against it on every single thrust.
When Lo‘ak wraps one arm around you and closes his fingers around your throat, pulling you back against his chest– You’re officially done. So fucking done. You almost bite through your bottom lip, a sob bubbling up your throat as your insides turn to liquid and pleasure melts out of you in a slick gush between your thighs.
"There you go, mamas. Show me how good it is, let go for me", Lo‘ak hums between what has turned from aggressive fucking into deep, lazy thrusts, long strokes to properly ride out your orgasm. "Good girl, you’re such a good girl."
The hand around your throat slowly loosens, yet he keeps it there to hold you upright. You’re still coming, with your eyes rolling back into your head and squeezing tight around his thick cock, while he plants soft kisses to your temple and along your jaw, lovingly nuzzling his nose against your cheek, until you fall slack in his arms.

To say Lo’ak was pissed was an understatement, you could tell someone pissed him off just by the way he pounds into you letting you feel every inch of him as he lands smacks to your cheeks one at a time.
What got him to be so angry was the remark Ao’nung said after one of his friends brought up him, how he and you always were spending time together.
Ao’nung told his friends that you would never go for a freak like him and that he couldn’t have you even if he tried.
What he doesn’t know is he has had you from the first day he got here.
His aggression was apparent and it had you lost for words as loud moans spilled out of your mouth that could be heard by anyone who managed to walk by the area the two of you were in.
“Fuck…” you mewled as you held onto the tree in front of you as Lo’ak grips on your hips tight as he ruts into you.
You loved it when he fucked you like this, it was something you never felt before he came to your home, you had never been handled like this and it made you grow wetter by the second earning a low chuckle from him.
“You love being treated like a slut, don’t you mamas?” He questioned, you nodded your head in response but immediately felt a smack to your ass. “Uh uh, you know better than that, use your words or m’stoppin’”
“Y…yes I love when you treat me like your dirty whore,” you cried out not wanting him to stop his torture, his dick buried deep inside you, feeling him everywhere, hitting all the right angles that had you gasping. He focused on the way his dick disappeared in your cunt, coming out wetter each time.
“What would people say if they knew you were such a slut for me?” He queries as a smirk appears on his lips watching you try to form a sentence but all that comes out are curses and moans.
“What would he think, hm?” His smirk gets wider. Lo’ak knew you were to be mated with Ao’nung ever since he got to the Metkayina but it didn’t matter to him since you never showed actual interest in Ao’nung like you did whenever you were around him.
You and Lo’ak have been fooling around on the low for a while now not wanting people to find out yet till you figure out a way to get out of the arrangement.
“Does he know you love to be fucked in the open where anybody can see you?” he taunts as his ears pick up a distant sound in the forest, the biggest smirk on his face because he knows what who it was.
“Your perfect little pussy s’suckin’ me right in,” he raised his voice a bit as his hips don’t miss a beat as you feel his dick caressing your g spot repeatedly, throwing your head back as you feel your release build-up.
Lo’ak could tell you were about to cum just by the way your cunt was clenching around his cock. “Tell me who’s pussy this, ma,” he demanded.
“Then, I’ll give you exactly what you want,” he decreasing the speed a bit to wait for your answer. Your mind was clear, unable to put together words but you were so close to cumming.
“S’all yours, Lo’ak! Please make me cum… so close…” you cried out, stickin out your tongue a bit earning a low chuckle from him as he increased the speed.
“That’s my girl, say hello to our guest,” you were confused at what he was talking about. A guest? What did he mean by that?
Lo’ak gently grabs your chin to turn your head to the side and you blink a few times as you see Ao’nung standing there with a blank expression on his face, you can’t tell if he is angry or shocked or maybe both.
You tried to open your mouth to say something but all that came out was a moan, you were feeling too good to even come up with some type of an explanation.
Ao’nung being there didn’t phase Lo’ak at all as he didn’t care if he caught them or not. He continued his torture on your sopping hole which he noticed got even wetter than before.
“You love being watched don’t you, my sweet girl,” he teases as you are about to nod your head but catch yourself. “Yes… m’going to cum!” you whine as your breath becomes uneven.
“Look at him while you cum on my cock, ma. Let him see just how good I’m making you feel.”
You obeyed his orders turning to face to look at Ao’nung who now had a clear angry expression on his face, sticking your tongue out your mouth as your legs start to tremble and you paint his cock with your release and as he felt your gummy walls flutter around him, he gives you one more stroke before cumming deep inside of you, letting out a groan as you try to catch your breath.
“Fuck…” you whimpered out as your body goes slumped but he catches you, pulling you up against him, capturing your lips onto his.
When he pulls away, a smile appears on his face as he looks at your fucked out expression on your face.
“You did good f’me, my sweet girl.” He praised as he laid small kisses on your cheeks and a smirk appeared once again on his lips as he heard Ao’nung’s footsteps running far away from them. Mission accomplished!

“He really did a number on you,” you mumbled with a shake of your head and Aonung scowled at your comment, making your lips curl in amusement. You found what the Sully boys had done to him almost humorous given the fact he had been picking on them non-stop since they arrived. You weren't sure why he’d been so mean to them, but you figured he’d have to warm up to them eventually since they seemed to be staying.
“I didn’t come here to have it shoved in my face,” he snipped back dryly, moving to sit against the wall and stretching his body out in the empty hut. You snorted as you turned, looking through the basket of medical supplies you had and beginning to patch him up.
“I don’t know what you expected skxawng, you’ve been nothing short of awful to those kids since they got here.” He simply huffed wordlessly, letting you work on him in a silence. You tried to work quickly, disinfecting the small cut on his cheek bone and slathering his bruise with a paste to help with the pain.
“What do you think of them?” Aonung blurted the question once you’d finished, breaking the silence. You hummed thoughtfully at his question, putting away the supply's and pushing the basket by the entrance of the hut so you wouldn’t forget it on your way out.
“Well, I haven't really had a chance to talk to any of them yet, but they seem like a nice bunch of kids,” you answered after a moment.
“But you're not interested in any of them, right?” he asked, and his question made you furrow your eyebrows in confusion. You were unsure of why but it almost sounded like he was worried you had taken an interest in them. His cheeks flushed a light pink and he attempted to clarify what he meant, "I mean – like – you don’t think either of them are attractive-”
You laughed, cutting him off and making his face hot with embarrassment as a deep blush made its way up his neck to the tips of his ears. He was aware of how he sounded, but as ridiculous as the question was, it had been eating at him since they’d arrived.
“Aonung what are you talking about?” your voice was teasing, full of amusement as you spoke.
He refused to look at you as he answered, “Well Tsireya has a crush on Lo’ak, so I was just wondering if you also might have been into one of them, because-” he began to ramble, very obviously flustered. You suppressed a giggle behind a smile, you couldn’t remember the last time he had gotten so worked up like this, let alone over you. You thought it was quite cute.
Placing a hand on his cheek you attempted to bring him back to the real world, “Aonung,” you said softly, and the sound of his name coming from your lips had him swallowing whatever words that sat on the tip of his tongue, and his breath hitching in his throat.
“Yeah,” he whispered back, and your smile only widened.
“Why would I ever look at them, when I could look at you.” The words themselves sounded like they should have been a question, but they came out as more of a statement. They had Aonungs heart racing and eyes widening. Were you saying what he thought you were saying? You had to be, he thought, what else could you have meant? This was most definitely not the way he had imagine a confession between the two of you going, for starters he had always imagined he’d confess first.
Hesitantly he leaned closer to you until he was just a hair's breadth away from you. The proximity had you swallowing harshly, your eyes dropping to his lips and making your cheeks warm. Your heart was pounding out of your chest as he closed the gap, and you were sure he could hear it as you slipped your eyes shut and let yourself be immersed by the feeling of him.
He was tentive at first, his lips just barley brushing against yours, allowing you time to pull away. Instead, you leaned in, pressing your lips firmly against his and making him smile into the kiss at your reciprocation. One kiss after another your lips molded against each other perfectly in a short flurry of passion that left you breathless. The both of you drew out the kisses as long as you could, until the simple need to breathe burned your lungs and you both had to pull away.
It was your turn to be flustered as you avoided his eyes now, fixing your gaze onto the floor firmly and ignoring the deepening blush that was blooming across your cheeks and kissing the tips of your ears. It made him smirk, a sense of pride that he could pull such a reaction from you bubbling in his chest.
He reached out, threading his fingers with yours wordlessly and pulling you into his chest. You yelped as you were pulled on top of him, muscles tensing at the sudden, involuntary movement, but quickly relaxing as he wrapped his arms around you. You shifted, tucking your head into the crook of his neck and getting comfortable. The two of you could talk about what all this meant for the both of you later, for now you would simply enjoy holding each other.

Midnight Rendezvous
Tumblr media
Title: Midnight Rendezvous
Pairings: Lo’ak (25) x Navi Reader (24)
Warnings: MDNI
Contains: sexual tension, forced, dom Lo’ak, fingering, p in v
Tumblr media
It's been 3 months since you’ve joined the Na’vi tribe. All possible thanks to Norm and the other scientists once they completed your avatar. You were now one of the people, one with nature, one with Pandora. The challenges and adventures that come every passing day brought purpose to your once useless life. Similar to Jake, your human body was mangled, restricting movement in your right arm and leg, all due to a reckless night on Earth. However, your scientific background was notably impressive, so once you were accepted into the Avatar program you decided to live a life with no regrets.
You fell in love with your slim avatar’s body. Once you were part of the tribe they stripped you of your human like clothing and adorned your body with beautifully woven pieces with crystal like beadings that were enough to cover you but not enough to hide fully hide your heavy chest and curvy hips. You thought you gotten used to clothing till the Sully brothers stopped in to check on you. You suddenly felt the urge to cover your chest and sit on the ground preventing them from seeing what they were more than accustomed to seeing with the other members of the tribe. You allowed your long black braided hair to cascade over your bosom once they entered your cot, still sitting on the ground you beckoned them into your new home.
They were one of the best trainers, without them you would not have made it through the ordeal of becoming Na’vi. Neteyam would spend hours after Eclipse teaching you the uses and strategies of weapons while Lo’ak was responsible for you becoming one of the best hunters. The time spent with them was memorable, they helped you with obtaining samples for the lab, while you taught them more about the human world. The more time spent with the brothers the more you realized why every female Na’vi was fascinated with them.
“Hey y/n, looking good, blue suits you.” Neteyam chuckled.
His words knock you out of your trance as you flashed a smile towards him. He has always been kind and gentle towards you. Despite his kindness, you found yourself more drawn to his younger brother who
“Thanks Nete, what are the plans for tonight?” you winked “got some other girl to tend to?”
“Nah, we’re going to a party, you should come.” He replied , flashing a mischievous grin.
You decided to embrace the new found life and take on your adventurous and outgoing side. The brothers did mention that the elders had no idea about these bonfire parties. You figured it would be the best approach to grove in with Na’vi’s your age. Mustering up one breath of courage you sprung up from your hammock and began to began to dress, wiping with a wash cloth and adorning your body with another beaded top and more revealing loincloth you head out the door. Making your way through the forest was not as difficult as you anticipated. Your feet thread onto the soft grass. You stopped momentarily. Was that music? You persisted pass the vines and lianas, peering through the gaps.
You gasped. In the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees draped with bioluminescent flowers and vines were Metkayina youth, naked. The bonfire in the middle provided sufficient light to see, but dim enough to still foster privacy. The music came from an old radio box Norm gave the clan, the ground covered with what appeared to be wooled blankets. Na’vi men were on the floor, on top of them were women, their bodies intertwined. In their hands appeared to be chalices , more than likely containing fermented fruit strong enough to make one fall under the alcoholic influence. On the other side were more Na’vi men and women chatting, undressing, laughing and even a few were moaning. The sight had you both dumbfounded but also awakened your inquisitive side. The mess of bodies were enough to turn you on as your eyes took in the rhythms and sounds of pleasure escaping the group.
“Looks fun doesn’t it?”
Your breath hitched. Caught off guard you stumbled, your back hitting into a familiar chest.
“Lo-ak, you startled me.”
“Didn’t think you’d come.” He said his voice low.
“Didn’t realize it was that kind of party.” You laughed nervously, your face barely visible with the flickers of the flame’s shadow dancing across your body every so slightly. You were too busy feeling embarrassed to notice the stares of the youngest Sully brother on you.
“Ah y/n you’re here.” Neteyam called out as he walked towards the duo.
You reached out to punch him in the shoulder. “You skwang!’ you yelled, “you tricked me.”
“Nah y/n I’m trying to hook you up, my bro Azal asked me to invite you.”
“You could have given me a heads up that I’d be at a sex party.” You hissed. “Since when was Azal even interested in me?”
“You don’t have to partake, it’s a place where we can be free. You could just watch y/n,but if you’re not comfortable I can follow you home. Azal always had eyes for you y/n, you know he is one of the bulkier ones, a really excellent hunter.”
“Not interested Nete he is too cocky for me, and it’s fine, I’ll just dine and enjoy the show.” You sighed nonchalantly.
Taken aback at your openness and willingness Neteyam smirked. “Alright! Right this way Just at least greet Azal!” his arm on your upper back he guided you through the curtain of vines. You peered over your shoulder to see Lo’ak following, his gaze dark and jaw clenched.
“Fineee”
The party was intense in particular sections and more relaxed in others, the point was that everyone and everything was in view. There was a make shift area where homemade fruit wine was served, it reminded you of a human bar. Aside from the jazz like music and sinful moans filling your ears were the boring stories of Azal and his hunting streak. A mere attempt to impress you with his self-absorbed stories. Your eyes scanned the area to only lock eyes with Lo’ak, a particular female Na’vi kissing his neck while he sipped on his drink. You quickly averted your eyes to see Neteyam deep in conversation with a group of female Na’vis, a seductive grin plastered across his face. You huffed when Azal finally left you to get you another beverage, taking this as your chance you scurried off to the end permitter of the party, the moans were getting louder as more Na’vis began to partake. You took one last peak in an effort to catch the last glimpse of Lo’ak when you felt a heavy palm on your hip.
“Where you going y/n?”
“Lo’ak you’ve got to stop sneaking up on me.” You turn around to see his braids towering his face, his eyes hooded, lips agape. Something about his expression was intense, almost intoxicating. His palm remained on your hip,the other hand reaching out to remove a twig from your hair. You clear your throat in an attempt to break the tension.
“I’m tired Lo, think I’ve seen enough.” You said almost bitterly with the image of Lo’ak with the other female Na’vi.
“I haven’t.” He whispered, as he lowered his mouth to graze the top of your ear. You felt a sudden knot in your stomach, as a familiar wetness grew between your legs. Lo’ak trailed his fingers to the straps of your beaded top, slipping it off one of your shoulders.
“Lo-“
“I know you want this just  as badly as me.” His face mere inches away from yours as his hand rubs your arm soothingly. “Tell me you don’t want me and I’ll walk away.”
The moans in the group grew louder and suddenly you wish he would be the cause of the sinful moans escaping your lips. Your silence makes him step back. In one swift moment, you grab his arm pulling him towards you as you crash your lips onto his.
Lo’ak grabbed the back of your neck, as his mouth dominates yours, he pushes your back towards the bark of a tree. Your breathing is uneven as you fumble to remove your beaded clothing and his loincloth. Your eagerness catches him off guard as you stood before him clearly deprived of sexual pleasures. With one rapid motion, he picks you up with one arm, your legs instinctively wrap around his waist, his hardened member pressing on you. You gasped as you looked down.
You’ve never seen anything bigger, you were no stranger to human sex, but Na’vi sex was definitely outside your area of expertise. His mouth began to plant kisses on your neck, you threw your head back as you succumbed to the desire. Your hands moving to grope your nipples, and you roll them between your fingers. The horny mess before him only turned him on more.
“Dam mama, you don’t even know how bad I been wanting this.”
You moaned as you feel his fingers enter your pulsating hole, dripping as you feel him scissors his fingers to stretch you out. You begin to wine on his fingers, drowning in pleasure, your moans grow louder. His mouth finds yours again as he tongue fucks your mouth. He picks up the pace expertly moving in an up and forward motion. You clench his large digits as you fought your way into his mouth, pulling him more into you. He pulls away, his eyes pouring with lust as you arch your back, exposing your supple breasts. His fingers move faster and harder, within seconds your juices were spraying as you screamed his name, unaware that nearby fiesta heard.
“I want you in me now.” You pleaded drool running down your mouth, your eyes heavy. Your hands reach to pumphis  hard cock.
“Music to my ears y/n.” He groaned, “bend over for me.”
You willingly obliged by turning to face the tree, bent over, head bracing the bark, you reached behind to pull apart your ass cheeks to revel your gaping holes. “Fuck me Lo.” You cried, your voice barely audible as the party ensued.
He gasped, his palm reaching to smack your ass. Without warning you feel his mushroom tip press on your opening you move one hand to the tree for support the other finding your clit. As he pushed past your entrance you feel him stretch you to capacity, your eyes widen at the feeling almost like you were about to split in half. You turned back to face him, his expression darker as he fully plunges into you. You scream from the sudden pain and pleasure.
“Take this cock in that tight hole. “He reaches forward to grab your breast as he paced.
You gasp at his size, your moans getting louder as the pain is replaced with intense pleasure.
=“YYeeessss Lo’akkk just like that, fill meee uuupp.” Meeting his rhythm you bounced back onto his cock while rubbing your cloth, your eyes shut tight as you tried to focus over the horny mess before you. You looked up to see Neteyam among the other naked bodies, his dick being sucked by a female Na’vi as he fingers her. Your attention suddenly averted to Lo’ak who begins to pick up the pace slamming harder and harder as you squelch. Dirty monas escape your pretty lips, your eyes ertun to the party to find Neteyam now staring. You gulp.
Can he hear me? CAN HE SEE ME? You thought to yourself but suddenly find your self on your back against the forest floor. Lo’ak towering you. He renters you throwing your ankles over his shoulder.
“I wanna see that pretty face when I make you cum.”
You held his stare as you reach to pull your legs towards you, revealing yourself more to him. You feel his boner growing harder inside of you. He picks up the pace, now slapping your clit. You hum in pleasure. You look down to see the bulge move in your stomach, he rubs your clit faster hitting upwards to find your sweet spot. The familiar feeling began to build soon your back arched as you begged him to fuck you senseless, to fill your lustful desires, to appease your cravings.
“Cum for me y/n.”
“Im gonna cummm.” You eyes water, mouth agape as you reach you high, causing you to convulse spewing your jucies once more. You scream your nails digging into his forearms as you become undone before him, he pulls out within three strokes spilling his hot seed on your face. Your smile suddenly vanishes when you realize in the near distance Neteyam's silhouette grows closer.
 “My turn brother.”

Author’s note: I’ve been listening to both Lana Del Rey and The Weekend while writing these, idk why but when it comes to reading or writing about Neteyam x reader those artists just come up. Also Sorry if I have the ages between the  Metkayina siblings, I’m not sure who is older but I see Tsireya being the oldest and Ao’nung the youngest, I hope you like part three. Also I don’t know shit about science so I made some stuff up since its a sci-fi universe.
P.s. I am glad that you guys are liking this small series, don’t be shy to leave some feed back or a comment suggesting what you’d like to see on the next part, I’m also excited to see what you guys request in the future.

Just like that night, you had that same dream again but it was a bit different. Besides the stars swimming in the water, this time you saw a figure, of someone? But it wasn’t of a Metkayina but of a different Na’vi. Though you couldn’t see their face, you saw small little dots that seem to be lit in the dark. What did this dream mean? Did it mean something? Was Eywa sending you a message of some kind? You weren’t fully sure.
Now you were beginning to hit puberty, your sister had now turned thirteen, you twelve and your brother eleven. You began to have new feelings along with a lot of changes. You were ready on becoming a woman, though when you turned fifteen you’d be announce of age but that was in another three years.
What had caught your attention most were the couples you’d see around the village. Some young, some old, even children had their childhood sweethearts. Now you wanted to know if you’ll ever have a chance at love, even though you were different from the rest, you still wanted that experience.
That day when your parents had gone back to the Marui from their daily tasked you had asked. “Mother? Father? May I ask something?” you walked closer to them as they had both sat down on the floor. Ronal smiled at you and picked you up, placing you on her lap. “What is it little one?” she asked as Tonowari had his full attention on you. “Will I ever find a mate?” you asked. Both Ronal and Tonowari looked at one another, not sure on what to say but your father spoke. “Yes, one day you will find someone, but I will be honest with you my child” he said as you paid close attention while Ronal was stroking your hair. “Things may be a bit different between you and your chosen mate, since you don’t have a queue you may not be able to mate with them before Eywa, but I know for sure that you will be happy with your chosen mate and he will be happy with you.” Tonowari said with a smile as you nodded understanding.
“Father?” you asked looking up at the gentle giant “yes?” he said as you then asked your other question. “Where do babies come from?” This made Tonowari freeze and made Ronal laugh at your question. “You’ll learn of that later” she said as your mother leaned down and kissed your little forehead.
The next morning you got up as early as possible, your parents and siblings still asleep, you quickly got dressed into a pale pearl top with shells and a hip scarf that had pearls hanging from them. You kept your hair the same but added a few silver colored hair cuffs. Once you were ready you left the Marui with a small basket in hand.
That morning you went to the fruit trees to find some fruits to give to Neteyam’s family. You managed to claim high to get that fruit was just right to take, you were a good climber since you liked claiming on trees to get some fruit. You spent must of the morning getting enough fruit for the family. Others from the village also came to collect some fruit for their families. When they’d ask if you could get them a specific fruit, you would. You liked helping others, it made you happy seeing that you made others happy. After you were done, you gave your farewells to them and left with the basket with fruit in hand.
You walked towards the Sully’s mauri, on your way you had said your good mornings to those who had now woken up. When you finally got to the marui, you saw that they all had been awake except for Tuk who was still asleep. “Good morning, I hope I’m not interrupting.” You said catching the attention of the woken family members, specially Neyetam who stood up as fast as he could and walked towards you. “No, you aren’t, good morning to you too” he said bitting his lip. It was cute seeing him all shy. “Well, I brought you this fruit I picked out this morning.” You said as you handed him the basket. Locking eyes with him, you felt your stomach flatter from by his eyes looking into yours.
The moment was interrupted by Jake who came behind his son with a smile on his face. “Thank you very much Y/n” he said politely at you. You bowed lightly at the adult “your very welcome, I hope I see you all at lessons in a bit” you said smiling and giving Neteyam a bigger smile before leaving. Neteyam stared at you leaving. He was caught out of his trance by his siblings who began to laugh. Neteyam glared at them and walked over to the small table on the floor, placing the basket down.
You had arrive home seeing that your family was waiting for you to eat breakfast. “Good morning” you said walking to were you normally sat which was between Ronal and Tsireya, your mother smiled at you “where were you this morning?” she asked out of curiosity which you responded “I went to go give fruit for the Sully’s” you said as she then hummed but looked at you a bit longer, she noticed something about you but then Ao’nung groaned “can we please eat now? I am starving!” he whined like the baby of the family that he is. “Alright, alright, go ahead.” You all sat and ate your food, your mother would look at you now and then, she had a feeling about you but she couldn’t figure it out on the top of her head.
After breakfast, everyone went off to do their task. You father went to go teach Jake how to fly on a Skimswim, your mother went to the healers, you along with your sister and brother went to go find the Sullys. As you walked words the meeting place which as at the beach, Rotxo had tagged along. He had been tagging along a lot, he says to help the Sullys with their lessons but you knew full we why he would come. He came to see Kiri, you saw how he looked at her during the lessons, how he’d get his Ilu close to hers as they rode on them. It was adorable seeing how shy he’d get when the girl would look at him.
The lesson that day was back on the Ilus, even though you didn’t have one like rest, you still stayed. You watched how the Sullys were still trying to get a hold of them. You also noticed how Tsireya and Lo’ak had beginning to get close, when she was near him, he’d get nervous around your sister. Meanwhile, Neteyam had his eyes on you most of the lesson, instead of listening to what Ao’nung was saying he had his attention on you. When you’d lock eyes for a second, he’d turn away making you lightly giggle. Tsireya noticed this and she decided to give you a little push.
“We should go for ride” your sister suggested, all agreed and got on their ilus, though Tuk go on Kiri’s ilu since she was still to young to ride her own. Before you went on Ao’nung’s ilus Tsireya stopped you “y/n, you should go with Neteyam, he may need some help” she suggested with a smile. You couldn’t say no to her so you so you nodded.
“Hey Neteyam, I’ll be riding with you if you don’t mind” you said as the boy smiled with glee “of course, here let me help you” he held his hand out and helped you hop onto the ilu. You sat in front of him, you liked feelings his front touching your back. Once everyone was on their ilu, they took off underwater. The ilus were fast which caused adrenaline to go through your body. You loved feeling the ocean water running through your body, it made you feel as if you were born to be underwater.
Neteyam was also smiling, seeing that you were having a great time, it was just like those two nights ago when you’d swim late at night together. It made his heart warm up, he would love seeing that smile for the rest of his life.
You all went up to take breath from being under water for being to long, everyone was laughing and talking. “Did you have fun?” Neteyam asked looking down at you, in which you nodded “very much, it was fun going that fast” you said containing your giggle. “I’m glad you’re having fun” he whispered in your ear which made your face feel hot. This made your heart beat go a bit fast. For the rest of the day, the teens were swimming around, and getting a hold of their lessons. Until everyone had to go home, you stayed behind as Tsireya and Ao’nung headed back to the marui.
“Are you getting the hang of things?” you asked Neteyam who was walking beside you. “Yeah, at first it was hard but eventually I’ll be a pro” he said. You giggled at his words. They had a different way of speaking their English which was a bit funny but it suited him a lot. “Hey, would you like to go on a ride on my Banshee?” He asked which made you gasp in excitement. “Really? I would love to” you said now shaking with happiness by the request. He chuckled seeing your face, it reminded him of a child.
Again he had walked you home, the walk was silent but it felt good, as if you both were having a conversation in your mind. When you arrived home, you bid him a goodbye and went inside. Ronal was sitting on the floor, exhausted from today’s work. Tsireya and Ao’nung were making dinner.
“Hello mother, how are you feeling?” you asked as you sat down next to her. Seeing that she was relaxed, her hand resting on the baby bump, your sibling was growing bigger everyday, you couldn’t wait to meet them. “I am alright, this baby is draining out my energy” she said as you smiled and leaned your head down onto her stomach softly, wanting to feel the baby moving inside. “I feel a feeling it’ll be a strong boy” you said as your mother stroked your hair. This was a daily ritual, you’d come sit with your mother and talk about your day or just talk whatever. You loved feelings hands running through your hair, she’s been doing this since you were smaller than you already are.
During dinner, your father was having a deep conversation with your mother about things. You on the other hand were thinking of Neteyam, about his suggestion in riding his banshee. You already knew the feeling of water around you, now you’ll have a chance to feel the air. When dinner was over, you went to sleep with your siblings.
That night your mother couldn’t stop thinking about you, on how you had beginning to change a bit. “Ma Ronal? What’s wrong?” Her mate asked her as he looked over at his wife who was laying on her side, facing him. “Nothing Ma Tonowari, its just that, I’ve been noticing how our Y/n has been changing a bit, she’s distracted and I noticed that glance in her eyes.” She said as Tonowari smiled at his wife “she’s at that age, she’s thinking of boys” he said making Ronal sigh worriedly. “Why did that day have to come so soon?” she asked him as Tonowari pulled her closer to him, their foreheads touching. “I know Ma Ronal, but y/n has to grow up, she can’t be a baby forever, but just know that she will always be our baby no matter what age she is” he said leaning over and kissing his wife on her cheek.
Ronal smiled at her mate “I know but, who ever has captured her attention, should be worthy of calling our daughter their mate. I just want what is best for our children, specially y/n since she is different” she said worriedly. Tonowari only smiled and hugged his wife. He understood her, he also wanted was best for his children. He knew deep down that his daughter will find the right person.

Future warrior of the Metkayina clan and Tsireya’s best friend, [Name], has had her eye on Lo’ak since the Sully family arrived to the Metkayina clan. It wasn’t something [Name] could explain. From the moment she walked out of the water with her best friend, she felt what she could only describe as a pull to him. As if an invisible vine tied them together.
This sudden infatuation was short lived as she learned that [Name] and Tsireya would have to teach the new comers the ways of the Metkayina clan. Although the pull never went away.
Teaching the Sully kids started off simple, teach them to swim. All that sounded simple, and it was as they watched them jump in, enjoying the water around them. It only seem to become a problem when they tried to follow the Metkayina kids, and they quickly found that these forest Na’vi could not hold their breath as long as they could. While Tsireya was swimming to the surface to ask what is wrong, [Name] signed to her friends asking why they had to teach them and not just Tsireya. To which they all but laughed and shrugged their shoulders, making their way back to the surface.
At the surface, she found Lo’ak make eye contact with her immediately. Stuck in a state of irrational panic, [Name] angrily told the Sully family that they must learn to hold their breath for longer if they want to survive in the Metkayina clan, before diving back down in the water.
Confused and slightly shocked, like the rest of the Sully kids, Lo’ak started:
“What was that all about?” His question was directed towards Tsireya but he would welcome anybody’s answer.
“I’m not really sure, I have never seen her act like this. Yes she has been cold, but never this cold, and never when she is not hunting.” Tsireya tried to explain, confused and concerned herself.
.ೃ࿐
All sitting in a circle, the Metkayina kids as well as the Sully kids were practicing breathing. Tsireya, having convinced [Name] to join them, was quite happy to lead the breathing.
“You have to breathe from the stomach.” Tsireya explained, closing her eyes and breathing in slowly.
“And stay calm while you hold it. Your body will use more air if you don’t stay calm.” [Name] continued, trying to stay calm herself while she slowly exhaled with the rest of the group, her heart beating rapidly.
Tsireya smiled at [Name]’s participation, to which [Name] smiles back softly, before closing her eyes once again to breathe in deeply.
[Name] could hear struggled breathing from beside her, as she opened her eyes she found Lo’ak breathing at a different pace the rest.
“No, breathe in from here.” [Name] held her hand over his stomach, watching as he attempted to breathe like her instruction.
As he continued to struggle, [Name] turned to face him, holding his shoulder as well. Watching him closely, she felt his heart beat pace only rise.
“You have to slow your heart down, it is beating too fast.” [Name] instructed, hoping to take her own advice and slow her racing heart.
Hearing chuckles from the group, and watching the look Neteyam gave Aonung, he let out a soft huff.
“Sorry.” Lo’ak spoke quickly, trying hard to avoid [Name]’s eyes.
“Breathe from you stomach, here.” [Name] watching him, as Lo’ak looks away again, she rolls her eyes.
As Lo’ak tries again, he breathes in deeply holding it for a moment before letting it out slowly. As he opens his eyes, he finds [Name] smiling at him with pride in her eyes.
“See? You’re getting it! Now just keep doing that.” [Name] beamed brightly, and all Lo’ak could do was look in to her eyes and smile back.
.ೃ࿐
As [Name] sat on rocks, watching Neteyam, Tuk, Kiri, and Tsireya play in the water, Lo’ak approaches her carefully.
“[Name]?” Lo’ak called hesitantly.
[Name] looked behind her, seeing Lo’ak, and sighing softly before smiling again. She could still feel that pull from when they first met but she no longer feels the weird panic and anger that she felt before. These feelings were so new to her, too new to understand. Her nervous energy and random anger was much unlike her. Although she was not all sunshine and smiles like her best friend was, she also wasn’t a sea of ice.
“Hey, Lo’ak. Do you need something?” She asked much kinder than Lo’ak was expecting.
Her voice kind and soft, much like Tsireya. She must have quite the influence, and [Name] would agree.
“Actually, I do. I was wondering if you could continue helping me with my breathing?” Lo’ak asking timidly, hoping for that same kindness.
[Name] smiled, “Of course, I can help you. Sit here.” [Name] pointed next to her, watching as Lo’ak sat down.
And as the afternoon went by, that is exactly what [Name] did. Sit on the rocks and teach Lo’ak to breathe so he may survive in the Metkayina clan. It started out the same as the last time she tried to teach him, but Lo’ak quickly picked up slow breathing technique by slow breathing technique. [Name] was happy how much he was learning from her and Lo’ak was just happy to feel her hands on him. [Name]’s hand on his stomach felt electrifying, as if with her hands on him, he could do anything.
.ೃ࿐
As Lo’ak was walking towards where he knew he would find Tuk, he heard splashes from the water not far from him. When he looked over to find the origin of the splashing, he found his brother running up to [Name]. As he got to her, Lo’ak could see their mouths moving signalling their conversing. As much as Lo’ak wish he could hear what they were saying, he couldn’t hear from where he stood. He could feeling his heart start to speed up and all of his muscles started to tighten, resulting in the curling of his fist.
It’s probably nothing.
He tried to tell himself, but his mind would not let go of what he sees before him.
Neteyam? Nah, nothing will happen.
He told himself again, starting to walk in the direction he was before, coincidentally the same direction that would lead him past where [Name] and Neteyam were talking. He was just about to mentally brush off his angry when he heard [Name] laugh loudly at something Neteyam said. That’s when he decide he had had enough. Curling his fists once again, he ran all the way to where he was going. Mentally cursing Neteyam for doing this to him.
.ೃ࿐
Lo’ak was in his head for the next few days. Even when hanging out with his family he was thinking how he had already lost [Name] to Neteyam. How he takes everything from Lo’ak. Neteyam was the golden child while he was just the runt. Never really enough.
The only thing that could really get him out of his head was [Name].
Spending time with her felt like a dream to Lo’ak. She helped him practice his breathing, showed him the waters and helped him as he learned to ride his own Ilu. Which he had a few issues with.
Lo’ak tried to spend 100% of his time with [Name], which at times proved to be difficult. Every moment with [Name] was like a breath of fresh air, which he knows much of after the many attempts at diving in the water to catch a shell.
So when they were sitting on the beach together, watching the waves, Lo’ak was more than upset when Neteyam asked to join them. He rolled his eyes at his ask and huffed as [Name] politely agreed. After a beat, Lo’ak groaned and stood up, stomping off in a huff.
“What was that about?” [Name] asked, confused and a bit upset.
“I’m not sure, I was just about to tell him that our parents are upset with him. But he has been kind of moody lately. Have you noticed?”
“Not really, but I guess looking back he has been a little?” [Name] replied thoughtfully, thinking back at all of the time Neteyam was there and Lo’ak was upset.
“Now that I think about it, he has been a little upset, but it is only when you are around.” [Name] continued.
“I wondered if that might be it. Well, thank you for clearing that up. I am going to save his ass from my parents and then ask him what is up. Later.” Neteyam waved at [Name] before walking off.
[Name] was left there to think of what was upsetting Lo’ak and why he stomped off so fast.
.ೃ࿐
“You have been acting weird. What is going on?” Neteyam asked incredulously as Lo’ak scuffed at his question.
“No weirder than usual.” Lo’ak muttered, reflecting on how he has felt as an outcast and apart from his brother.
“What?” Neteyam asked, hoping he would repeat what he thought Lo’ak had said.
“What do you want from me Neteyam? Being the golden boy not enough for you anymore? Here to pick on me some more?”
“What are you talking about? I am trying to ask what is going on with you. Why are so-”
“How does it feel getting everything? Why do you take everything from me?” Lo’ak questions angrily, cutting Neteyam off.
“What is wrong with you!?” Neteyam quickly follows.
“No! What is wrong with you! You take all of the attention and have alway been the golden boy but now you have taken [Name] too?! You take everything important to me?” Lo’ak practically screams, having to take a breath after.
Lo’ak catches his breath only to find his brother laughing hysterically, the shock from Lo’ak’s outburst having apparently worn off. Lo’ak’s eyebrow’s furrowed, if they could even furrow any more, his face beating red.
“What!?” Lo’ak yelled. Only to be met with more of Neteyam’s hysterical laughter as he fell to the ground rolling around.
“What!? What!? What are you laughing at!? Just tell me what you are laughing at!!!” Lo’ak demanded, fuming.
“It’s just- It’s just-” Neteyam tried, struggling to speak between his laughter. “It’s just that you think I am trying to get with- with-” Neteyam continued before roaring in laughter once again.
“Would you just spit it out already!” Lo’ak demanded once again.
“You think I am trying to get with [Name] because you’re jealous!” Neteyam laughed again, finding this whole situation beyond humorous.
“You mean you’re not trying to get with her?” Lo’ak asked utterly confused but his face burning for a new reason.
“Of course not! Never mind the fact I’m not interested, she has been eyeing you since we got here!” Neteyam grinned so wide his cheeks hurt.
“She has not!” Lo’ak was quick to ‘correct’.
“She totally has! Are you kidding me? And why do you think she takes so much time to teach you everything?”
“Because I am a slow learner?” Lo’ak asked, becoming more and more confused by the second.
“Because she like you and likes spending time with your dumbass!”
“Oh.” Lo’ak spoke looking down, thinking of all of the time they had spent together.
“Yeah ‘Oh’. Now get your ass over to her and tell her how you feel!” Neteyam pushed him in the direction of [Name]’s family’s marui.
After a short walk, Lo’ak found himself on the beach [Name] and him were last sitting at, where [Name] was still sitting. Lo’ak would have thought she would have left by now but there she was, hands supporting her as she gazed at the sky. Lo’ak took a deep breath, remembering all of the things that she had taught him, before making his way over to her.
“Mind if I join you?” Lo’ak asked, trying not to alarm [Name]. This reminded him of the first time they spent time together, alone, and the many times that came after that. He smiled to himself.
“Lo’ak, you’re back! Of course you can join me.” [Name] beamed, standing up to met him.
Lo’ak loved that smile. And he especially loved causing that smile.
“I’m sorry I stomped off, that was childish of me.” Lo’ak looked at the ground.
“Neteyam mentioned that you have been upset, why is that?” [Name] asked gently, as if he would stomp off again.
“I was mad at him for taking everything from me,” Lo’ak started. “He is the golden boy of our family that can do no wrong.” Lo’ak mocked and [Name] giggled softly.
“I just wish that my parents understood that…” Lo’ak looked down again.
[Name] took a step towards him, bringing her hand to his shoulder. To which, Lo’ak looked up and into [Name]’s eyes. As they stood not even a foot apart, [Name] brought her other hand to his cheek and gazed into his eyes. Lo’ak felt like she was looking into her soul, and as her looked into her eyes he found himself doing the same.
“I see you.” [Name] whispered so soft, Lo’ak wouldn’t have heard if he wasn’t so close.
Lo’ak watched [Name]’s face with pure joy, a wide smiled creeping up on his lips.
“I see you.”

This wasn’t the first time Tonowari would sneak out to see you and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. Ronal wouldn’t find out anyway.
Tumblr media
Grunts and moans echoed through the cave as Tonowari took you roughly against the cave floor, your nails raked down his back making him hiss.
Leaning down he placed wet sloppy kisses along your chest trailing them to your neck “Does my little paysyul like this?” He asked before nipping at your neck.
“Y-yes ma’wari” you moaned, Pleased Tonowari sank his fangs into your neck. He knew it would cause problems later on but right now he didn’t care.
Your eyes rolled back as the coil in your stomach finally snapped, your juices gushing around his cock leaving a white creamy ring at the base of him.
Tonowari groaned unlatching from your neck licking the fresh wound clean “Fuckk yawne.. wanna breed you, give you my children..” he whimpered softly.
With a few more thrusts you felt him throb inside you before he stilled himself painting your walls white with his seed.

Grovel Part 2
Tumblr media
Pairing: Aged Up Lo'ak x Fem Omatikaya Reader
Part 1
Summary: Lo'ak needs a plan. A plan that will bring you back to him.
Warnings: aged up characters, eventual smut, lust, pinning, angst, past relationship, mentions of war, injury, etc.
Tumblr media
“Stop whining.” Neteyam groaned, watching as Lo’ak secured another tie around the fabric’s base. The kelku was coming together nicely.
“I didn’t say anything.” Lo’ak all but huffed, lips turned downwards in the same fashion they had been since the celebration. He adjusted the straps of his loincloth, a trail of sweat racing down his spine. Oh how he already missed the refreshing waves of salt water.
“Your expectations were truly far too high, brother. What did you think she would do?”
Lo’ak shot him a seething look, one that warned against pushing it further, but brothers were immune to such limits.
“You’re lucky you made it out of there without injury. And now knowing what you did I can’t say I would have blamed her otherwise.”
“Yes Neteyam, I understand. Now can you shut up and help me lift the other end?” Lo’ak stomped past him, preparing the right side to be lifted. He didn’t wait for Neteyam to join him before using his own body weight to heave the heavy fabric into place. The younger Sully brother had been hyper fixated on his kelku since their arrival, even going as far as asking Kiri for advice on potential decoration.
This home had to be good enough to meet your fancy, an objective that he now understood to be much harder than originally anticipated.
“Mawey, baby brother. I am only trying to get your skxawng ass to understand.”
“Okay then fine!” The fabric was dropped to the floor in a heap. “Tell me what I should do. Since you know the ins and outs of wooing women, tell me how I am supposed to win her back.” His brows lifted, hands placed on his hips as he feigned bracing for his answer. Neteyam was not fazed by his younger brother’s outburst. After seeing Lo’ak’s restlessness the whole trip home in anticipation of seeing you, he was surprised the male was holding up as well as he was.
“I may just be a simple gentleman, bro, but I think an apology would be a good place to start.” He squeezed his brother’s shoulder, surprised when Lo’ak was too lost in thought to bother wrestling him off.
“I’ve tried. Everywhere I go she is avoiding me. I don’t even know where her kelku is or her routines. Otherwise-”
“Maybe I can help with that.”
Lo’ak sent him a skeptical look.
“What?” He deadpanned.
“She has a sister, right?” A completely rhetorical question that had Lo’ak knowing exactly where Neteyam was going with this. “Say the right words and maybe I can get some valuable help from Talu.”
“Wow. How did I deserve a brother like you?” Sarcasm dripped from his tone as he ran a hand over his face. It was no secret that Neteyam had taken a liking to Talu. The future Olo’eyktan was neither bashful nor shy when it came to playing the golden suitor.
Neteyam simply grinned before slapping him on the back and helping to hoist the kelku side once more.
Tumblr media
You were impossible. So hard headed and stubborn that even knowing your route and home was not enough to get in a good apology. He was sure by now that Talu knew of his intentions with you, that giddy smile forever present whenever she announced his presence to you, but there was always an excuse to cut things short. Only a few minutes and you would be running off to aid at the healer’s tent or pick up the hunting gear you had left behind.
There was no end to the list of excuses you could formulate.
And it didn’t matter that neither himself nor Talu were fooled. You simply weren’t inclined to put more effort into hiding your disdain.
Lo’ak couldn’t remember you being this difficult before. When the two of you were younger you had handed your heart over to him on a silver platter. Of course your weird friendship had been full of teasing, pranks, and insults but that was only part of the fun. Once romance had been initiated, you took everything he gave with warmth and affection.
And he had ruined that.
He let out another sigh, trying to play it off when his mother gave him the side eye. His new bow was almost finished, surely the right weapon he would need to fetch an impressive kill. Perhaps he would use his spear too just in case. If he was going to win you over, it would need to be something extreme. Something that said all the words you would not let him get out.
At this point he was willing to take down a Palulukan if that is what it took.
He snorted at the thought. It may have been a few years since hunting on Omatikaya soil but he knew that thing would have him torn in two. Maybe then he would get your attention, whatever remained of his body finally being enough to crack your tough composure.
And then….
What started out as a ridiculously funny thought transformed into a new idea. A new plan. There was in fact one place that you could not run away from.
Tumblr media
The healer’s tent had been slow in mid afternoon but luckily you were the only one on duty. When he walked through the tent flaps reverently, not bothering to hide the wince as his freshly torn up skin brushed the fabric, your lips parted. For a moment it seemed that concern swam in those beautiful eyes but then they were turning back into cold steel like that night at the festival.
“Kind of underestimated the swoop-”
He was cut off by your stern point to the space in front of you. He followed obediently but on the way he couldn’t help but let his gaze roam over your exquisite form. He had meant what he had said that first night. You were more beautiful than the day he last saw you, a goddess-like creature even his wildest dreams could not have imagined.
Today you wore a turquoise top made of small beads that were strung together to hang like vines. The color reminded him of the waters in Awa’atlu. Could that be your favorite color now? If so, he knew of so many places such gems and shells of that color. He could collect more for you. The beads mocked him, however, as their light weight cover just barely fell over your pretty nipples, one breath away from revealing the prize.
Hell, he was sure the right puff of air from his lips could push away those teasing beads.
As you began to work on applying ointment to his wounds Lo’ak forced himself to look away. However, he couldn’t find reason to not occasionally peak back and get a look at your pretty face. By Eywa, it was a true miracle that no one had snatched you up yet. Maybe he would thank the Great Mother for that gift at the Tree of Souls later.
At one point your diligence fell and strayed from the wounds to glance at him instead. He flashed a grin, one that didn’t match the state of his bloody back. You shoved his head to look forward roughly but he had already caught a glimpse of your rosy cheeks.
“You got injured how again?”
“Flying error, it’s been a while. Why?”
“No reason.”
Silence fell and Lo’ak had to keep himself from fumbling with his messy bun. You may be difficult now but one thing was still true. You always wore your heart on your sleeve.
“You don’t have to be worried, sevin-”
A sharp smack to the back of his head and Lo’ak couldn’t hide his surprised laugh.
“Damn, you’ve got a pretty good backhand.”
“Hush. I am trying to concentrate.”
It was sure to be a lie. His wounds were nothing in comparison to what you must have encountered during the war and with your experience you would have him healed and out in a few minutes. But then that meant he only had a very small window to squeeze this apology into.
“Don’t worry, I will behave.” He raised his hands in surrender but received only a little hum from you in response. “But while we’re here there is something I’ve been wanting to say.”
Lo’ak hissed when the ointment was applied harshly to his deepest cut. It was nothing he couldn’t handle after so many war wounds but it did manage to lose him a few seconds of precious time. Had that been your intent?
“When we were kids I was…an absolute skxawng.” No argument came from you and Lo’ak glanced back from the corner of his eye. “I was more than a skxawng actually. I was reckless and angry and I didn’t even think about how my actions would affect others. Especially you and-”
“I don’t care. It is done.” Without Talu’s presence there was no incentive to dampen the ice in your voice.
“Y/n,” He called your name softly, turning to grab your wrist and stop the movement. “I am sorry. I never should have hurt you like that. I knew better, especially….” He let out a deep sigh through his nose. “Especially considering how much I truly did love you.”
You yanked your wrist back as if his grip was red hot. Scrambling away slightly, he could see the control you had over the moment slipping. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to push it further, get you to accept his apology.
Unfortunately for him, Eywa must have decided that it was also the perfect time for the next healer to enter the tent.
“There were hardly any herbs left by the river. Next time we try the mountains instead.” Penyau said, the smile on her face slowly dropping once sensing the tension in the room.
“Great. Lo’ak needs patching up, sister.”
“Oh, well then-”
“No, no. Y/N is already on it-”
“I’m passing you over.”
“You truly don’t care to finish healing the Na’vi that was put under your care?” Not the angle he wanted to take, but he was panicking. So desperate to get a few more minutes with you that he had to stop himself from using his grandmother as a scapegoat to keep you here.
From the way your jaw clenched and tail curled he knew those cards would not have played well for him.
“Talu is waiting. I leave.” You gritted out. Not a second to make another attempt or ever apologize before you were past the threshold and leaving him in the dust. Or at least, leaving him with Penyau who looked confused but more than happy to assist him. The smile she gave, however, did not hold the same sweetness as yours.
Or at least the smile he remembered from all those years ago.
He prayed he would see it again soon.
Tumblr media
A part of you wanted to insist upon staying home. Well no, all of you wanted to insist but if there was one thing you had learned from working with Mo’at is that there was no hope in defying her. If she saw it fit to bring you to the council meeting then that is exactly what you would have to do. Jake Sully was back as Olo’eyktan and with that came his sons’ attendance too. You were not foolish enough to hope otherwise, but there would surely be others there you could occupy your time with.
Even Tarsem had become a close friend of yours, as close as a clan member can dare to get to an Olo’eyktan, but conversation would be light and easy with him. If you were lucky perhaps you would be able to leave the meeting early as your sector of concern was far more narrow, giving you a chance to escape the inevitable small talk afterwards.
Luck, however, was not on your side. It seemed that Mo’at had deemed you her scribe for the meeting and that meant taking up every single detail presented. It was borderline impossible with the way Lo’ak’s eyes constantly strayed towards you. You’d think the male would have the decency to keep his staring at a minimum for public appearance.
Of course Lo’ak had never been afraid of attention.
That trait evidently had remained with him after all these years.
“Morning shift can circle northbound while overlapping with the afternoon watch.” Jake continued, using a twig to draw over their makeshift map in the dirt. It felt like he was speaking another language with the way your brain refused to concentrate. Jake might as well have switched into English with the rate you were comprehending.
“Lo’ak and Neteyam will be available by the end of the week once everything is settled in.”
You were so lost at this point it wasn’t even funny. Mo’at was going to have your head. As if sensing your confusion, the younger Sully brother said softly, “yes, for teaching.”
It didn’t clear things up much but Lo’ak had decided to start tying his hair back up into that damn bun again and you found yourself more dazed than in the beginning. Out of pure will power you resisted the urge to watch him dead on, unlike him. Watching those biceps stretch as he worked to wrestle those braids was still possible from your peripheral.
Another twist in your stomach.
Lo’ak relaxed backwards, long legs stretched out in front of him as Jake Sully continued his long speel. The meeting could have dragged on for centuries for all you knew and yet that twisting coil in your stomach never loosened. You felt like you were about to snap when the Olo’eyktan finally called for dismissal.
Up to your feet in a matter of seconds, Mo’at shot you a strange look. The tips of your ears burned as you tried to play it off and wait patiently for her. The meeting may have been over but that didn’t mean you were meant to leave her side. Most likely she would have other work for you to accomplish this afternoon and even if not it would be rude to not walk your Tsahik back to Home Tree.
“I’ve got it, grandmother.” Lo’ak easily switched Mo’at’s basket over to rest on his own hip. She gave him a nod and pat on the shoulder.
Swinging the netted bag of herbs and medicinals over your shoulder you focused primarily on the path ahead.
“Let me get that, sevin.” Lo’ak reached for your bag but with flaming cheeks you barely managed to deflect his advances and snap away.
The effort was pointless however when Mo’at gently grabbed the bag from your shoulder and handed it to him. An almost imperceivable smirk graced her lips at your perplexed expression but otherwise she remained silent. Slightly baffled and now avoiding Lo’ak’s unrelenting attention you veered to pick up the pace.
Now that he held your bag hostage there was no choice but to let him follow you both back to the healer’s tent. At least that’s what you thought until….
Mo’at let out a tired sigh and that was all it took for Lo’ak to insist she go home and get some rest. He assured her he would get the supplies back to the tent and walk you home safely, both actions that made you glare at him over her shoulder. The Tsahik, tired or not you couldn’t be sure, bid you farewell and gave her grandson another gentle squeeze to his shoulder.
The second she was out of sight you went for your bag. Lo’ak easily swiped away from your grabbing hands.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got it.”
Despite his warm smile he was only met with unspoken annoyance that seeped into the atmosphere’s tension. If he wanted to walk you home, fine, but you were going to get it done in record time. Without another word you scrambled up the nearest tree, deciding to take the overhead route to avoid traffic.
You could hear the clanking bags and basket as Lo’ak had to find ways to follow behind with only one arm to propel himself upwards. You secretly resented the way he managed just fine, despite the obstacle, long legs rushing over branches like they had only left the forest for a day.
“Is your plan to avoid me forever?”
Teeth grinding together you grabbed hold of another branch over head and propelled yourself up the next level. This time was more of a struggle, several vials almost falling out of the basket but that only earned him one concerned glance before you were striding forward once more.
“I meant what I said yesterday. I truly am sorry.”
“Yes, I heard you.” The tempo you set with your feet borderlined running. Lo’ak’s struggle became ever more apparent as the two of you scaled higher.
“Well yes I know that…shit!” A vial slipped from the basket, Lo’ak immediately lunged to catch it. You carried forward, trying not to think about how he almost lost the precious herbs that took you weeks to find and gather. “Got it!” He called but you were already several branches above.
With this head start you may just be able to outrun the Omatikaya prince and make it home safely.
Distant curses sounded from below followed by scrambling feet.
When will he ever give up?
It’s hard to say what Lo’ak did during his time with the Metkayina but you were surprised, and slightly displeased, to see how capable Lo’ak had grown in his tree climbing. Although, now he had found a way to shimmy himself up a trunk with only his muscular legs to aid. The sheer athleticism required to do such made your head spin and cheeks heat.
Straight home.
No detours.
“Y/N, wait up.”
He was closer than you would have liked, no doubt a result of your short attention span.
“Come on, sevin. Does your determination to ignore me really warrant all of this?”
Your temper was always an easy one to flare and when it came to Lo’ak Sully it seemed he had written the manual on how to light that flame. Turning on your heel, Lo’ak had to grind to a quick halt in order to avoid running into you again. It felt all too familiar to the celebration the other night so this time you spoke before he had a chance to get a word in.
“Maybe so, but what does it matter to you?!” Nostrils flaring and breathing heavily it was no longer possible to hide how fast the male had gotten under your skin.
“It’s admittedly more difficult to court a woman that won’t even let me be in her presence.”
The savage words on the tip of your tongue stuttered and your treacherous body rippled with excitement.
“You aren’t courting me.”
“Well, I suppose that’s fair. I technically have not initiated courting yet.”
“No Lo’ak, you will not court me. Ever.” Words like unbending steel the male’s eyes locked with your own and this time you found ways to not balk under his attention. When it seemed that nothing else was going to be said you turned on your heel once more.
And then Lo’ak finally spoke.
“I don’t see how you could stop me.” He murmured gruffly but the words immediately struck your temper like daggers. A bullseye shot.
“Lo’ak Te Sulli-”
“Sevin, just listen for two seconds!”
“Do not call me that!” Your voice hitched into a higher octave.
“I’m sorry I just-”
“NO!” Your shriek echoed over the branches. Heated venom coursed through your veins. “You push and push and push but I am sick of hearing it!” More words threatened to fly free but your heart was already pounding at your ribcage. Stay one more second and you were sure to find yourself saying much more than you ever cared to.
“I’m not going to give up.”
Those bubbling truths refused to be swallowed any more.
“You say that now, Lo’ak, but just wait. Soon you will grow tired of chasing after me and when you do there will be a plethora of women waiting at your beck and call. Just like before there will be another woman to entertain you where I could not.”
Lo’ak’s eyes blew wide and tail dropped to the floor but even then it would only be a few seconds before he made another pleaful attempt. And you couldn’t take any more of that. Those golden eyes covered by his signature two braids already beseeched your forgiveness far too easily.
“And once again you will go to her.”
He called your name as you left but you were already scrambling to safety.
Tumblr media
It was going to take a grand gesture. One that would prove his loyalty to not only you but every Na’vi in the clan. Your forgiveness was not going to be an easy thing to win over but that was okay. Lo’ak had dealt with far worse for so much less. Enduring some verbal bashing and humbling circumstances was the least he could do to win the woman of his dreams.
And yet…it still hurt.
The way you shut him out, not letting him learn even a morsel about the girl he had been missing for years. How much time had he spent imagining your reunion? Perhaps all of his dreams and hopes had clouded his sense of reality because now he stood here with only a shattered fantasy left. He had fooled himself for too long, thinking the past could be something swept away with the turning of time.
He had wounded you too deep for that.
So much deeper than he had ever let himself accept.
With a heavy sigh Lo’ak commanded his heart to settle. Today he could not afford doubts to plague his mind. Everything from here on out had to be intentional, had to send a message. Your discerning eye would be sharper to him than any other potential suitor that would court a woman. Each move would be assessed and either take him closer or further away from holding you in his arms again.
He checked over the supplies one more time, finger slipping into the pouch attached to his loincloth. Everything was in place.
“We can’t be late.” He reminded Neteyam, messing with his bun until he was satisfied with the way it sat.
“Someone is eager.” Neteyam's lips curved upwards as he leisurely took another bite of yovo. “Usually I am the one rushing us out the door.”
“Things can change. I can be responsible too.” He shucked Neteyam’s bag over his own shoulder, ready to leave with or without his brother.
Neteyam rolled his eyes, heaving himself up from his seated position.
“Yes but what good is it without her here to watch you do so, baby brother?” His fingers barely touched Lo’ak’s braids before the younger brother was swooping away and swatting at his arm. The death glare sent his way only made a deep chuckle rise in Neteyam’s chest.
Neteyam’s jesting was all in good fun but Lo’ak was far from in the mood to look at things that way. Over and over your words from the other day had echoed in his head. Your tone was drenched in steel cold enmity but even that couldn’t mask the pain that was seated in your golden orbs. His own childhood recklessness had put him at this point and now it was all he could think about.
Setting things up for today’s lesson, however, had helped. It gave him an outlet, some way to use these swirling emotions and put them into something useful. Lo’ak Sully was not one to give up easily, no matter what you said.
Gun to head Lo’ak would not be able to recite a word of what his brother spoke as they walked to the lake’s edge. The pounding of his heart was far too loud and it seemed his attention didn’t matter anyways when Neteyam’s own was easily captured by your sister. Without so much as a goodbye, he stalked towards the female Na’vi and left him behind.
The rocks were littered with various warriors and clan members in his age group. His father had thought it would be best to keep it within a demographic that they could relate to, make these lessons more personal. And yet Lo’ak had never felt more out of place. At one point in time these people had been his peers but things had been so different then. A time that was hard to remember, like a distant dream.
Only the memories of you had not been tainted with the passing of time. He blamed all of those days at the reef where his head had been filled with thoughts of you. It was hard to forget the one his heart longed for. Even his fling with Tsireya could not erase the mark you had left on him.
He finally caught sight of where you were perched next to another warrior.
Your eyes only skimmed over him for a second before turning away.
You thought that it was only a matter of time or opportunity before he would be swept away and wooed by another. Perhaps if you were right things would be so much easier. And yet the tug of his heart always brought him back to you. His inability to move on was not from a lack of effort.
So many one night stands and summer flings only for every single one to feel hollow and robotic.
You couldn’t have known that, however, and it was Lo’ak’s job to find a way to prove it to you.
Tumblr media
There were a million different excuses you could have conjured up to avoid these lessons. Some of them had almost slipped out this morning as Talu babbled on about how excited she was to see the eldest Sully son. However, you were mature enough to face the hard truths. Coping out now would be negligent to your duties as a useful clan member. If Olo’eyktan found it vital that the next generation learned about underwater diving then it was your responsibility to add those skills to your arsenal.
It had been a couple days of successfully avoiding Lo’ak and now it seemed such a shame to break the streak. You refused to let those pesky thoughts bother you today however. You were her for one purpose and one purpose only. Master the art of free-diving and return to your new found peace and quiet.
Naturally Lo’ak was greeted with quite the welcoming party, Na’vi females coaxing him over to hear about his travels. Rolling your eyes you prayed that Neteyam wouldn’t catch wind of your sour demeanor. All your worries were for not. His charming smile never strayed from your sister. Talu was skilled at putting up a calm front but you knew her well enough to sense that she was bubbling from the inside.
You were going to hear about this conversation all night.
Relief was temporarily found when the lessons started and instruction was finally given. The water was cool against your heated skin and you enjoyed the way it made your hair dance. Drill after drill you struggled to hold your breath longer. It felt as if your lungs were about to explode as you tried to suck in more air before plunging in again.
Lo’ak and Neteyam would demonstrate then invite the crowd to mimic while they inspected and instructed along the way. It helped that you were not the only Na’vi who had no natural inclination towards these talents. Many came up to the surface choking on water and pushing hair from their face.  The lake looked more like an active river with the pulsing waves and splashes that emitted from every corner.
You had to give the brothers credit. No matter how ridiculous you all must have looked they never let themselves show visible signs of judgment or even laughter.
It was far too easy to find Lo’ak in the midst. Even underwater he moved with a grace and calm that seemed so unlike him. It felt as if the water swirled to make way for him. He moved in sync with the pulse of Na’vi-made waves, cresting over them like a dance. Muscular frame floating through the abyss, he was a work of art among flailing limbs.
He looked relaxed enough to fall asleep. His descent deeper was treated like an afternoon stroll. Your own dimming supply of air faded into the background as you found yourself swimming down after him. It was hard to keep up. Every long stroke of his was at least four of yours and still it felt as if that distance only grew with every passing second.
He reached the bottom with one last kick, fingers carting through the various stones that lay there. Your brows furrowed as his own expression remained unperturbed. Finally a small smile broke loose when he caught hold of one rock in particular. It shimmered even in the daylight and Lo’ak made quick work to tuck it into the pouch at his side.
The first convulsing of your empty lungs was what broke you out of the trance. Lo’ak and his rock hunting was completely forgotten as your body screamed for oxygen. Now your turn to flail helplessly, you clawed towards the surface. Your lips pressed together, trying to focus on not giving into the urge of letting water in.
How had you gotten so far down here in the first place?
The water’s surface looked so close and yet every kick only seemed to make it further away. It was an optical illusion that had your fear spiking with every second you couldn’t take in air. You hardly registered the strong arm that wrapped around your waist until your convulsing body was flying through the water.
It was a miracle your own legs didn’t tangle with Lo’ak’s as they kicked out, but he had both of your bodies plunging upwards at a speed you could barely register. It seemed that your lungs simply could not get enough oxygen when your head finally broke through the surface. Your lungs still convulsed and your throat seized at every gasping breath.
“Just breathe. Nice and slow.” His deep voice tickled at your ear. Na’vi parted as you were floated over to the nearest shore. “There you go. In and out.”
It seemed like a simple instruction but your body refused to snap out of panic mode. Fingernails digging into his forearms you tried to dislodge the residue water from your lungs. One arm under your back and another beneath your bent knees, Lo’ak easily carried your shaking body onto shore. He sat down, gently settling you between his parted legs while cooing encouragement.
“Just focus on one breath at a time. Come on, do it with me, sevin.” His chest inflated against your back before slowly exhaling. You followed his lead. “That’s it. Try to breathe from here.” He placed his palm against your diaphragm. Eager to diminish the embarrassment that was creeping in, you zeroed in on acing his request.
Breathing this way felt more physical, stretching your lungs to a point you didn’t know they could reach but every exhale brought your heart rate one further step down.
“Very good.”
The praise washed over you like a warm flame. Finally it felt as if your body was complying with your wishes, relaxing back against his chest. Your earlier fears of drowning were quickly reshaping to seem as nothing more than overreaction. Relief was sweet.
“Slow your heart.” Lo’ak purred, tucking his chin over your shoulder as he placed one hand over your collarbones. It was dangerously close to where your breasts rose and fell.
With one swipe of your cupped hand through the water you had successfully catapulted water at his face. You dislodged yourself from his snuggling before sending him a dirty look and stomping off.
Maybe that trick worked for him back with the Metkayina girls but you knew better than to fall for his charming traps.
“Sister!” Talu shouted, darting past the crowd. You could see in the distance Neteyam standing waist deep in the lake, right where your sister had left him. “By Eywa, are you alright?”
Talu wasted no time in turning you back and forth in order to scour for injuries. Although still winded you did your best to ease her concerns.
“Mawey, I am fine.” A sharp slap to the back of your head made you hiss in surprise.
“Then what were you thinking?! Diving down like that without any experience! That was not a part of the drill!” Her nose scrunched in the way it always did when giving you a scolding.
“I know I just was…checking something…” You trailed off, feeling the heat of his gaze upon the back of your neck.
“Neteyam says that you’re not supposed to dive like that even after a few weeks of training. We have to start with the shallow-”
“I know! I know!” Your groan only earned you another glare.
“Don’t scare me like that!”
It was not a new experience to see Talu worked up. With your parents gone she was used to taking over as your caretaker and protector, although you were far beyond the years of needing such things. Regardless she had a knack for worrying. Yet another reason you had elected to never tell her about your history with Lo’ak.
“I am sorry.” It was nothing more than a mumble against her shoulder when she pulled you close.
“Thank the Great Mother Lo’ak was there.” She sighed and from over her shoulder you could see where he was now directing another Na’vi female who struggled to make it across the space with one glide.
“Yes, very lucky.” You deadpanned, rolling your eyes.
Tumblr media
It would have been rude to leave the lesson without joining in on the following social. Or at least that is what Talu claimed when you tried to retire early. Of course you had ulterior motives for expressing how tired you were but it was not a lie either. No matter how many times you had pushed yourself to suck in greater air, to make it one more stroke, you could never get past a certain threshold. Determination and anger had only swirled higher whenever you saw Lo’ak dance through the water.
The entire ordeal had left you feeling defeated. The sooner you could crack the code on diving the sooner you could retire from these lessons. There was no denying however, how good the fire’s glow felt against your wet skin. Everyone huddled in a circle around the fire. Talu was more than happy to accept the seat Neteyam had saved for her.
If it weren’t for the fear of looking over eager you were sure she would have already been snuggled up against him for warmth. Despite your animosity towards the younger Sully brother you were happy to see Talu courted by such an honorable warrior. He gave appreciation and chivalry freely, just in the way she deserved.
You opted to take a seat at the edge of the circle, sitting close to Panyau. There was great entertainment to be found in the way some of the females slumped in disappointment when Neteyam focused his attention primarily on Talu. It took a hand to your lips to mask your giggle when one female’s tail dropped after Neteyam rejected her offering of drink.
Lo’ak was not exempt from the same attention, although he strategically placed himself among other male clan members. Perhaps it was all in your head but it appeared that for once he was getting sick of the limelight. It didn’t last for long however because sooner or later the brothers were pressed to share stories from their time with the Metkayina.
“A full grown Na’vi and he’s never flown?” Matutke questioned in disbelief, many other Na’vi mirroring his same perplexed expression.
“Never. I swear I saw his soul transcend to Eywa at first lift off. Think I still have the mark from where he dug his nails into my shoulder.” Lo’ak grinned, sounding a chorus of laughter through the crowd.
“He cried almost as much as you did your first time, baby brother.” Neteyam quipped, reaching over to squeeze the back of Lo’ak’s neck. His younger brother glared and rolled his eyes as laughter rung through the forest but he surprisingly didn’t offer a comeback.
Conversation ebbed and flowed easily among the group, old friends connecting once more. You found yourself even becoming content to sit by the fire’s glow with such jovial interactions taking place. It was nice to take the backseat and enjoy some much needed rest. Even being around Lo’ak was bearable as it seemed he had finally given up on bugging you.
That is, until things took a turn.
It all started with one of the male’s, Pe’ku, teasing Lo’ak about the new gems and shells woven in his hair. Lo’ak had playfully glared at him as his friend yammered on about how it looked as if he had taken half the reef back with him.
You did your best at tuning out the conversation when one female jumped in to defend him, talking about how particularly pretty the blue gem in his hair was. Sleep threatened to take over as Lo’ak explained how rare these pieces were, having to dive down to the deepest depths to retrieve them. Eyes rolling and head resting on your bent knees, you prayed that Talu would be ready to leave soon.
The sudden oohs and aaahs when Lo’ak pulled something from his side pouch were like lullabies to your tired ears.
And then your tail peaked with awareness. The group had grown silent and the weight of many eyes bore down on you.
“Huh? What?” You stammered, head finally lifting to take in the scene with confusion. A few giggles laced the crowd and Lo’ak gave you a crooked smile.
“Could I talk to you for a minute?” He asked gently.
“What? Why?” The sudden beam of attention surrounding you caused unease to settle.
Lo’ak gave a nervous laugh.
“Or I suppose I could ask here.” Tails and legs shifted out of the way as Lo’ak came to kneel before you. It was only then that you noticed the shimmering object in his right hand. “I started making this a few months ago, beginning when I first started to have hope of returning home.”
He laid the long necklace carefully over his thighs. These glimmering pieces were unlike anything you had ever seen and much like the blue piece in his hair, it danced under the fading streaks of the day’s light. However unlike the small piece in his hair these ones tarried among different colors. A kaleidoscope of rainbow that would never stay the same shade for long, prancing with every different bounce of light. Intricately woven into the shape of a bodice that reminded you much of the stretching branches that reached for the sun.
“It was the first time I had ever let myself imagine what it would be like to come back here. To see you again.”
The swirling gold specks in his eyes trapped your own wide eyed stare in a vice like grip.
“I thought about you every time I dove down to retrieve a piece. It was the only piece in Awa’atlu that held a flame to my memory of your beauty. Looking at the woman you have grown into today I see that it is greatly insufficient as a comparison.” A short laugh accompanied his last sentence.
The knot in your stomach flipped into acrobatics that had your heart pounding.
“For now this is all I have to offer as a courting gift. This and my vow.” The four fingered hand that rested on your thigh was warm, sending a jolt of electricity racing upwards. “Never will a day go by without my heart being full of love for you. Never a morning where I don’t ask myself what can be done to make you smile, to bring light into your life.To my dying breath I will protect you.”
It hit you then the specificity of this audience. At the sight of drooping females’ tails and piercing gazes of other males you realized that this was the mating pool. Your peers and potential suitors were all gathered here. And with them, every doe eyed female that had chased after Lo’ak since his return.
“I can not call you mine, at least not yet, but I do believe that Eywa has given me another chance to fight for that right. To fight for the honor it would be to reside by your side. So with my intentions clear and heart set I ask you to accept this first courting gift.”
The following silence was deafening. It felt as if every second ticking by was one step closer to the bomb in your chest exploding. The group enveloped you like quick sand, each lean closer tightening around you in a suffocating grip.
So when a small “yes” escaped your lips, you blamed it on the need to breathe. On the need to escape the borrading questions that would inevitably follow your rejection.
You were willing to blame it on anything.
Anything but the twinkle of excitement that struck you the second Lo’ak’s wide grin fell into place.

Four fingers are weird. They’re unnatural.
You feel the flush of dark embarrassment tickle up your spine, face buried in Lo‘aks shoulder as said smug bastard presses a fingertip between your folds, teasing your slippery entrance. It makes you feel even more ridiculously bare than you already were; naked, sitting on his lap with you back against his chest and legs spread wide over his thighs.
His cock is trapped between your back and his lower stomach, aching for attention, yet he’s still fully clothed.
The tingle up your spine reminds you of the thought you hadn’t finished yet. Four fingers are wrong. Four fingers mean sky people, human, demon, alien. But four fingers also mean an extra finger per hand to touch and tease and stroke–
Gentle, warm strokes of his soft fingertips make your walls flutter in anticipation, like you’re nothing but a nervous virgin.
"What was it that you called me earlier? Ah, a freak, right? And do my freaky hands feel good?" Lo‘ak whispers it into your ear with chuckle. It’s intimate and strange, like a demon on your shoulder whispering sweet sins. "You want more, hm?"
Biting down on your lower lip, your body decides to respond for you, hips canting forward, trying to finally push his fingers inside you.
Then Lo‘aks hands– his sinful, strange, sky people hands are gone like shadows and he’s grabbing your chin and makes you look at him over your shoulder. You don’t fight it, but you still glare at him.
You meet those lust-dark, golden eyes of his and want to shiver, want to beg and plead and make Lo‘ak get on with it because you’re as wet as you‘ll ever going to be, had been since Lo‘ak stripped you of every stitch of clothing, kissing and licking and groping you into this state, after you had yet again pointed at him and laughed over his extra digit.
Lo‘ak was still holding your chin, his other hand running up and down the inside of your thigh, dangerously close to your core, but not quite touching you again.
"Say it", he then whispers, mouth turning up into a smirk, already kiss pink and wet. "Say it and I’ll keep going, show you what those freaky hands are capable of."
"I… want more", you confess, voice hoarse and quiet, determined and wanting, yet you can’t help the way you roll your eyes at him with a frustrated little pout.
Lo‘ak enjoys how bratty you are. Mostly, because he’s confident into his ability to fuck that attitude right out of you. He’s been wanting to do so since the day he stepped foot on this island and you giggled to Ao’nung over the odd shape of his tale and called him names.
"Yeah, you sure do", he chuckles and then makes a big show of dipping his fingers back down between your thighs, smiling like the cat that got the cream when his hand comes back up and he rubs your sticky, clear arousal between the pads of his fingers until all four of them are coated and glistening, from tip to second knuckle. A not so subtle reminder of just where those fingers came from and where they’re going again. "Look how wet you are, you’re dripping all over my fingers, thanì."
He then returns his hand between your thighs and presses his index finger against your entrance, before you can give him a snarky comeback. Testing the slick opening until it gives, he lets the digit slide inside, and Lo’ak the sweet fuck, licks at your neck with broad wet flicks of his tongue and whispers nonsense against the shell of your ear until you’re squirming. His free hand, strong, steady, but equally as freaky, is braced on the underside of your knee, effortlessly holding your legs wide open for him to play with you as he pleases.
"How does that feel, hm? You like my alien fingers inside you?" You hear him ask, his chin coming to rest on your shoulder to get a good view of his finger sliding in and out of your clenching hole.
"J-Just.. shut up", comes as a breathless response.
"You have your entire life to be little bitch", Lo’ak chuckles lowly, "Why not take today off and let yourself enjoy this?”
Then, he wriggles a second finger in beside the first one, and starts to ease them out together, then back in; a slow, slick push. You squirm even more, high pitched moans falling from your lips, and then a choked and breathless noise as Lo‘ak settles into a slow rhythm, pushing in deep and curving to brush something inside you that has you clenching greedily around the digits.
It feels so good every time he just curves his fingers, hooking and pressing at that spot that is turning you into a wanton little slut. One who’s bucking her hips and grinding her ass back against his cock that’s still trapped between your back and his stomach. It gets worse when he inserts the third finger, stretching you out to the absolute max.
They’re so fucking big, thick and strong and it’s such an intense feeling, overwhelming, too much and never enough. It hurts so good, that you have tears gathering in your eyes, wet and shameful, and your toes curl into your soles from the pleasure.
Fuck, you mentally curse yourself. You’re really tearing up like a little virgin, just because he‘s finger fucking you. But it’s deep, rough and filthy and so so good, you just can’t help it.
"Hmm, good girl", Lo‘ak hums lowly into your ear, "See how well you’re taking my fingers? Your greedy little pussy is swallowing them right in. I think you can take another."
His thumb slowly begins to add further to the stimulation, by rubbing your clit in tight, fast circles. And then the fourth finger splits you open with a squelching sound, before he thrusts them all in and out of you, curling them likes he’s beckoning to you and your legs begin to tremble wildly.
"Oh fuck, fuck, fuck. Lo‘ak!” You cry out, lights flashing behind your eyelids, sobbing, trembling, and shaking apart in his arms as you come in thick, juicy spurts of slickness, soaking his palm and the inside of your own thighs.
"There you go, baby", Lo‘ak laughs, watching with half lidded eyes and a smug grin as you come undone on his lap. And the moment you fall limp in his arms, you find yourself agreeing to what he had told you earlier.
They may be freaky, but nobody has ever made you come the way he did with those hands.

Brat Tamer! Tonowari who thought you had outgrown your spoiled ways from when the two of you were younger, especially now that the two of you were promised to each other. You still were the annoying girl who got on his nerves ninety-nine percent of the time. That one percent was his crush for you, he always liked you from afar, especially because whenever you were close, you would open your mouth and say something snarky to him.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would allow you to talk down on him to your friends as if he weren’t around and would keep calm and ignore you.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would be tasked to help you collect herbs for your tsahik training.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would once again try to ignore you after 15 minutes of collecting herbs, having to listen to you talk about yourself.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would bite down on his lip trying to keep the growl from escaping his throat once you start talking about Nemrey, another warrior who's second best to him. How he was better for you, how he was so handsome, and how he would do anything you wanted him to do. As you tell him about Nemrey, your tail starts to swing from side to side slowly as you notice you’re getting to him.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would finally snap, grabbing your wrist and making you drop the basket of herbs as you let out a gasp. “Tonowari! What is your problem?” you queried but he didn’t respond as he towers over you looking down with a sharp glare and a low growl making your ears flatten against your legs and your tail tucked between your legs. “It’s time I teach you some manners!” He growled.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would sit on a log and bend you over his lap, loosening the knot on your tewng and letting it drop to the ground as he rubs the swell of your ass before a hard smack was sent to your ass making you jolt as your hand flew back to cover the burning flesh. “Move your hand, this is your punishment for acting like a spoiled brat!” He demanded and when he saw you don’t move an inch, he used his other hand to take both of your wrists on your lower back to keep you from moving.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would have you count the smacks that landed on your precious ass. “T…Twenty,” you whine as you bite down on your bottom lip as you feel another smack land on your ass. Barely managing to speak the numbers out as you feel your pussy clenched around nothing, you couldn’t help but manage to get turned on by this. This was your plan all along to see him get mad and put you in your place.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would watch your pretty self squirm but he knows that you’re enjoying it just by the sweet scent of your arousal. “You’re such a slut.” He smirked as he swipes his fingers between your folds, rubbing your clit a little, earning soft moans to exit your mouth. “Only for me, you understand?” You would nod your head as you push back onto his fingers, imagining as if it was his huge cock.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would continue to circle your clit with his thumb while two of his long fingers prodded at your entrance, sliding in slowly as he lets out a low chuckle at how you gripped tight around his fingers. He wastes no time in rutting his fingers in and out hearing the wet sounds your pretty pussy makes.
Brat Tamer! Tonowari who would continue to make sure you knew what your place was, mending you to be his good girl and it worked. He tamed you real good, that had people do a double take once they saw how the new you acted, and of course, Tonowari stood right next to you admiring his good work.

Summary: Before Y/N was even born she was to mate with the first son of Tonowari and Ronal who happened to be Ao’nung. Y/N was hoping that her parents would realize that Ao’nung isn’t the type of boy she wants to be with so when Neteyam and his family showed up she thought he was her escape. She believed that her and Neteyam were rewriting the stars but sadly Y/N’s hands were stayed tied to the promise her parents had already made for her.
Inspired Song: Rewrite The Stars by Zac Efron & Zendaya
Word Count: 2,356
Author’s Note: This has to be the longest story I have written in a while! I definitely suggest listening to the song before reading since it does reference some of the lyrics! THIS STORY IS ALL ANGST SO READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Tumblr media
Y/N’s life started out just like every other teenage girl on Pandora till the Sully family showed up. Y/N is part of the Metkayina clan. Before she was even born she was to mate with the eldest son of the olo’eyktan who is the leader of the Metkayina clan. The eldest son of Tonowari and Ronal, who is named Ao’nung, was born first and then Y/N was.
Right when they were born their parents had them be around each as much as possible. As they grew up Y/N and Ao’nung were to always be around one another. Y/N didn’t mind it at first but as they got older Ao’nung became snobby and always made other Na’vi children feel like he was above them and better than them which Y/N wasn’t very fond of at all. She just couldn’t believe that in just a couple of years she will have to mate with him when he has an attitude that she completely despises.
Y/N has been hoping that one day her parents will realize that Ao’nung isn’t the type of guy she wants to spend the rest of her life with so when Y/N first laid eyes on the eldest son of the Sully family she was hoping that maybe that was a sign that she isn’t destined to be with Ao’nung. She was destined to be with Neteyam.
******************************
Y/N was out in the water with Tsireya on their ilus when they heard the horns signaling that the island had visitors so they made their way back to shore. Once they were close enough to the shore they got off their ilus and walked out of the water to see everyone in the village surrounding a Na’vi family that was from a different clan. Y/N could tell that they weren’t from the same clan by the darker blue of their skin and their different appearance such has their tails and arms.
Y/N noticed the younger son, Lo’ak was staring and flirting with Tsireya which made her giggle. But when Y/N looked at the older son, Neteyam she felt like she was hypnotized. When her ocean blue eyes met his yellow eyes it felt like it was just them on Pandora. When Ao’nung noticed he quickly became jealous so he wrapped an arm around Y/N’s shoulder which made her break her intense gaze from Neteyam.
She couldn’t help but feel a little embarrassed for looking at another boy in front of her own village. Everyone in the whole village knows she is to mate with Ao’nung. She was in complete awe staring at this boy that she just met. They haven’t even said a word to each other yet.
Tonowari and Ronal talked to Sully family Y/N just kept her eyes down at the sand. After Tonowari let the Sully family stay Tsireya told them she would show them where they will be staying. Everyone went their separate ways. Ao’nung and his brother Roxto left with Tsireya since their parents ordered them to help the Sully kids adapt to Metkayina ways. When Y/N reunited with her family and went back to their Marui.
******************************
Y/N decided to help the Sully kids since Y/N’a father is helping Tonowari with Jake. Y/N had created a bond with every Sully kid but you can tell that the one she’s the closest with is Neteyam. They instantly connected which Ao’nung did not like at all. He saw the way Y/N looked at Neteyam and the way Neteyam looked at Y/N. It was driving Ao’nung crazy. Y/N should only be looking at him and only him. She belongs to him. To make Neteyam back off Ao’nung told Y/N’s parents hoping that it would get Neteyam in trouble but instead it got Y/N in trouble instead.
******************************
Y/N walked into her mauri to see her parents waiting for her. She knew something was wrong by the worried look in her mom’s eyes and the sternness in her father’s eyes.
“What is going on? Is something wrong?” Y/N asked with a mixture of worry and concern in her voice. “You bet there is something wrong!” Her father snapped at her with anger in his tone which took Y/N by surprise. “Kylor please! Don’t!” Her mother pleaded to her husband. “No! She is not going to break the promise we made to Tonowari and Ronal.” Her father said which quickly made Y/N realize what was going on. “Who told you?” Y/N asked with a sigh looking down at the floor. “Ao’nung.” Her mother answered. “Of course!” Y/N said with a frustrated sigh.
“You are to stay away from that Sully boy!” Her father ordered her which made her heart sink down to her stomach. “What? Why?” Y/N asked in shock looking back up at her father. “You know why! You are to mate with Ao’nung and that Sully boy is getting in the way of that!” Her father told her in a stern tone. “But Neteyam makes me happy! He’s so sweet and caring.” Y/N told him.
“I apologize for going against your wishes but I know in my heart that I belong with Neteyam not Ao’nung.” Y/N said finally admitting it out loud. She couldn’t keep it in any longer. When she’s with Neteyam she feels safe. Neteyam is who the boy she always dreamed that she would spend the rest of her life with. That’s who she wants her happy ending with.
“You listen here!” Her father started as he walked closer to her which made Y/N’s heart begin to race. “If you choose to disobey your order you will not only be a disappointment to this family but you will be a disappointment to your fellow Na’vi ‘s as well.” Her father told her pointing one of his fingers at her. Every word that came out of her father’s mouth it felt like someone was stomping on her heart. She could feel tears forming in her eyes. “You will mate with Ao’nung and that is final.” Her father told her in a demanding voice. Y/N just stared up at her father with glassy like eyes. “Yes, father.” Y/N finally said with a slow nod as tears made their way down her face.
*****************************
After dinner Y/N went outside to sit on one of the docks with her feet in the water. She couldn’t get the conversation she had with her father out of her mind. She knows she isn’t going to be able to stay away from Neteyam but she also doesn’t want to be a disappointment in her family’s eyes.
“I’m guessing that you had a rough day, too?” She heard Neteyam say behind her. “Yes, I guess you can say that.” Y/N answered with a sigh as she stared down at the fish swimming around her feet. Neteyam sat down next to her. When she looked over at him she noticed the cut on Neteyam’s lip.
“Neteyam! Your lip!” Y/N said in shock. “What happened?” She asked him with concern in her voice and a concern look in her eyes. “Lo’ak and I got into a fight with Ao’nung and his friends.” Neteyam told her with a sigh. She saw the ashamed look he had in his eyes which ticked her off because of how many times Ao’nung has put down others he’s finally pushed the wrong one’s buttons. “What did he do?” Y/N asked him. “He was picking on Kiri.” Neteyam answered which made Y/N’s heart ache. “I’m sorry.” Y/N said in a soft voice. “It’s not your fault.” Neteyam said locking his yellow eyes with her blue eyes.
Every time Y/N looks into his eyes she feels a strong spark go through her. As they stared into each other’s eyes they leaned in. When their lips touched they felt something in them that they have never felt before. When they pulled away from the kiss Y/N felt like she was walking on air. But it didn’t last long because when she heard her father’s voice in her head she snapped back into reality and realized what she just did.
“Oh no!” Y/N said quickly standing up. “What’s wrong?” Neteyam asked quickly standing up as well. “I have to go!” Y/N said but before she could walk away Neteyam grabbed her hand. “Neteyam! Let me go!” Y/N told him in a stern tone. “Not until you tell me what is wrong!” Neteyam said in the same tone she just used. “I just broke my promise!” Y/N told him as tears started to flood her eyes. “Promise?” Neteyam asked her.
“Before I was even born my parents promised Tonowari and Ronal that I would mate with their eldest son.” Y/N told him which made Neteyam feel like he just got stabbed in the heart. “You and Ao’nung are bond to mate.” Neteyam said with a mixture of sadness and anger in his voice. Y/N just gave him a nod.
“Do you have feelings for him?” Neteyam asked her with jealousy. “It doesn’t matter.” Y/N told him with sadness as a couple tears rolled down her cheeks. “The agreement has been said and done which makes my hands tied.” She added.
Y/N got out of Neteyam’s hold and walked away leaving him standing there all alone completely heartbroken.
****************************
Since that night Y/N and Neteyam have kept their distance away from each other which didn’t last too long. When the whole village gathered Tonowari told everyone that their village is being threatened by the sky people. Seeing everyone getting riled up it was getting Y/N very scared and over whelmed so she ran away from the crowd. Neteyam knew he had to follow her.
“Y/N!” Neteyam called out to her which made her stop walking. “Why did you follow me?” Y/N asked turning around to face him. “Because I’m worried about you.” Neteyam told her. “Neteyam-“ Y/N started to say but he cut her off. “I know that you’re to mate with Ao’nung but I know you feel that same way I do.” Neteyam told her.
“When we kissed that night you had no intention pulling away.” He said as he moved closer towards her which made her heart race. Y/N knew every thing he way saying is the truth. That’s why she ain’t running away from him because she knows she can’t run away from the truth. “We are meant to be together.” Neteyam told her putting one of his hands onto her cheek. Y/N leaned into his soft touch as he stroked her cheek lightly.
Before anything else could happen they Tsireya calling Neteyam’s name which quickly made him take his hand off Y/N’s cheek. When they looked over they saw Tsireya running up to them with Ao’nung and Roxto. “Lo’ak is gone!” Tsireya told them. “What?” Y/N said in shock. “Where did he go?” Neteyam asked her with sternness in his tone even though he had a worried look in his yellow eyes. “He went to go get Payakan.” Tsireya answered him. “Kiri and Tuk left to go follow him.” Roxto added. “Let’s go! They can’t be out there by themselves.” Neteyam told them.
*****************************
After Neteyam left Y/N and everyone else with the tracker that was on Payakan Y/N got captured by Quaritch and his crew with Lo’ak, Tuk, and Tsireya. Y/N tried her best to act brave at least for Tuk but when Quaritch put the barrel of his gun to Lo’ak’s head she really thought it was over but Payakan came out of nowhere and jumped onto the ship tipping it over knocking Quaritch and some of his men into to the water. Once the ship landed safely back onto the a water Neteyam jumped aboard which made Tuk call out her bother’s name in happiness. Neteyam cut Y/N and the girls first and then Lo’ak.
Y/N followed Tsireya and Tuk off the ship but she paused when she saw Neteyam follow Lo’ak in the opposite direction. Y/N was about to follow the brothers but Tsireya told her to come with her and Tuk so she did. After the girls got into the water Y/N and Tsireya tried to get at least Tuk to safety but she got captured again. The girls knew they had to go save her so they got onto their ilus. They spotted Kiri tied up with Tuk but before they could find a way back onto the ship without getting caught they heard Lo’ak’s voice.
They found him in the water with Neteyam and a human boy so they went over to them. Y/N noticed blood in the water and before Y/N could say anything Lo’ak told them that Neteyam got hit with a bullet. They knew they had to get Neytam to a safe place so Y/N told them to help Neteyam onto her ilu. Lo’ak got onto Y/N’s ilu behind Neteyam while Tsireya let the boy ride on her ilu with her. As Y/N led they away from the ship with her ilu Tsireya told Lo’ak that Quaritch has his sisters but he knew he couldn’t go back right now since they had to get Neteyam to a safe place.
Lo’ak saw his father land on a big rock he called out to him saying Neteyam was hurt. Jake quickly saw they and Neteyam wounded so he waited until they got to him. Y/N and Lo’ak helped Jake get Neteyam onto the stone and out of the water. As the boys stood around Neteyam and helped him Y/N stood back with Tsireya. When Neytiri showed up after Jake called for her Y/N already had tears rolling down her face. It was breaking her heart looking at Neteyam in pain and hearing with voice get weaker and weaker. She was hoping that Neteyam was going to be okay but sadly their wasn’t enough hope.
Neteyam died in front of everyone. As Neytiri screamed out her son’s name everyone had tears rolling down their faces. Y/N immediately felt emptiness. When Neteyam told her that they belong together she actually believed it.
She felt like the stars were rewritten but they weren’t and she again felt like her hands were tied.

༺♡༻
Gentle waves rolled across the sandy shores of the Awa'atlu reef, tumbling the sand and retreating, only to come back again. There was no beginning to this cycle, no end, it had been since before you were born and would continue after your death. It was this constant that you knew for certain, not much else.
The day had just begun, you could still taste the breakfast your mother had prepared for you and your siblings as you made your way through the village with your little sister.
Tsireya walked quietly, making your suspicions rise.
"What is it?" You asked softly, both of you coming to a halt in front of the ilu saddles.
She shook her head. "What is what?"
A look of incredulity fell upon your features causing her to let out a soft groan.
"I've just been thinking lately..." She hesitantly admitted.
"About?"
She took a breath, placing the saddle she had grabbed back down with a huff.
"We have less than a year. Less than a year until you're to be mated with Txonu, and then you leave. You move into your own marui and have your own family. What happens to me and Ao'nung when you're gone?"
Your face softened, "Oh, 'Reya, I won't be far-"
"No but it will be different." Tsireya argued. "You don't even know him, how do you know you would be a good mated pair?"
"In time, we will learn."
The response you gave, the same one given to you by Ronal and Tonowari, made Tsireya growl, her face screwing up in distaste.
As if, by the will of Eywa, the flap of wings stole the attention of you and your sister, Txonu and his tsurak flew into the reef having just come back from a hunting trip.
You looked over at Tsireya, letting out a huff as you saw her look of mild disgust.
Txonu is a strong hunter and a good fighter. He had been trained under your father from a young age, the future Olo'eyktan of the clan, and you his future Tsahìk. You had yet to see his stoic front dissipate, it seemed a frown was permanently etched into his skin.
Even now, as he walked to meet your father at the front of the village, the crease between his brows was evident.
"He's so...angry." Tsireya complained.
You sighed, "He's just serious."
Tsireya turned her head to look at you, taking in the sadness that creeped behind your pale green eyes.
"Do you...think you will be able to see him?"
Her voice was soft, but it felt like it had reached out to your throat and wrapped around the column, making a lump form and block your airways.
Without meeting her eyes you exhaled, "I will learn to."
༺♡༻
You and Tsireya had been out with your ilus, riding through the kelp and around the reef when someone blew into the conch shell, alerting the Metkayina people of newcomers. A flock of flying creatures through the air, making you look up into the sky and squint your eyes. Looked like Na'vi.
"Come one, let's go see." Tsireya tugged your arm, bringing your attention back from the sky.
Synchronously, you two dove into the water, guiding your ilus to the front of the village.
Upon your arrival, you noticed a group had formed around the newcomers. They were easy to spot, skinny, tall and dark blue- they were not from these waters. You dismounted your ilu, ducking underwater to swim closer to the shore before breaking through the surface. Unbeknownst to you, you had an audience of one.
Neteyam saw the movement in the water from the corner of his eye. Turning his head to get a better view, he felt his eyebrows shoot up and jaw go slack at the sight before him. A Metkayina woman walked onto the shore from the shallow water, her thick, wavy hairy dripping with sea water. His mouth went dry as he followed a droplet that had fallen from her chin travel across her chest, down to her navel, and along her right leg.
Realizing that he was quite shamelessly checking this girl out, he snapped his head back up, eyes darting to her face. Her eyes never met his, not until she was standing behind Tonowari- she was the Olo'eyktan's daughter.
The tips of his fingers began to tingle with numbness- a new sensation all together- as he made eye contact with the Metkayina girl as her head turned to meet his gaze. Neteyam offered her a small, inconspicuous smile, making her purse her lips in an attempt not to reciprocate the gesture, instead looking away.
You felt your heartbeat against your ribcage as the boy, the forest boy you had just learned, looked into your eyes and smiled. Quickly, you averted your gaze, not wanting anyone to notice the innocent, albeit flirty, interaction- but a smile fought to make itself seen upon your lips making you raise a hand to cover them.
"...Our son Ao'nung and daughters Y/N and Tsireya, will show your children what to do." Your ears perked up, only now realizing you had completely tuned out his voice while looking at the forest boy.
Ao'nung was quick to try and argue, "But father, why do I-"
"It is decided." Your father shut him down.
Again, Ao'nung opened his mouth to voice his complaints, you put a hand to his shoulder, silently telling him to cease his arguing.
He turned to face you, "If they drown, I won't be the one to save them."
"If they drowned, " You whispered harshly, "We both know I would be the only one who could save them."
Your emphasis on 'could' made Ao'nung screw his face in annoyance, moving to push your hand off of him as he started to walk away with the rest of the clan. He hated your teasing.
"Come on, my sister and I will show you around our village." Tsireya smiled, stealing your attention from your brother.
You nodded, smiling at the family before nodding your head in the direction of the maruis, "Yes, this way."
The walk through the village was quick, Tsireya doing most of the talking while you led the way through the throngs of Metkayina coming to see the guests. Your mind wandered back to the boy, who you had an innate sense of awareness of as he walked just a few steps behind you, it was like his energy, his aura was tangible- it was reaching out with its tendrils and tugging on your wrists just begging for you to turn around and acknowledge it.
You fought against the temptation.
"Here is where you will be staying." You gestured toward the large, empty marui as your sister came to stand next to you.
Jake Sully, the former Omaticaya Olo'eyktan thanked the both of you before you and your sister left quickly, giving them space.
Neteyam watched your tail swing gently as you left, the vision etched into his mind, he hopes, forever.
The next morning you watched as Ao'nung grouchily put his hair up, being unnecessarily rough due to his pent up annoyance with today's agenda - teach the forest kids the skills of the Metkayina.
"Are you excited?" Tsireya asked, a giddy smile painted across her lips.
You nodded, mouth full with your breakfast.
"The forest boy was looking at you yesterday." She said matter of factly, making you nearly choke on the food in your mouth before you hastily chewed and swallowed.
"No he wasn't." You argued, face heating up at the fact that she had noticed the exchange.
Tsireya shoved your shoulder playfully, "Yes, he was. And you were looking too. I could tell."
You stood up, cleaning the remnants of your breakfast as you spoke monotonously, "Tsireya, I am promised to Txonu, I was not 'looking' at anyone."
"I hate when you do that." She mumbled, following you out of your family's marui.
You stopped, "Do what?"
"Speak like you are an old woman. You only do it when talking about Txonu." She explained, before walking past you and diving into the water.
"I don't sound like an old woman." You mumbled to yourself, offended at the insinuation.
Ao'nung finally made his way out of the marui, "Yes, you do." He concluded, diving into the water just as Tsireya had done.
You grumbled a small 'no, I don't' before entering the water yourself and swimming behind your siblings.
Breaking through the surface of the water, just outside of the forest family's marui, you moved to climb up and onto the ledge in front of the entrance.
You have a soft knock to the side of their doorway.
"Come on in."
It was Jake Sully.
Slowly, you stepped forward toward the doorway, the privacy flap had not yet been rolled up so you couldn't see what was happening inside. You pushed the edge of the flap as you walked through, nearly making it in in one piece...that is until you were hit by what felt like a solid tulkun fin.
You stumbled, trying to regain your balance, only to feel arms wrap around you and steady you themselves.
"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there."
A response was forming on your now dry tongue, but Jake Sully was quicker.
"Neteyam! Careful, huh? Keep your eyes open."
Neteyam nodded, "Yes, sir."
You cleared your throat, suddenly feeling awkward with the way his family had all stilled to stare at the way he was still holding you to his chest.
Lo'ak, his younger brother, let out a chuckle, "You can let her go, bro."
That seemed to catapult everyone back into action, Kiri going to help Tuk tie her top on while Neytiri rearranged their belongings in the hut with the help of Jake. Neteyam was also quick to remove his arms from around you, only for a split second however, before his palm came to rest on your bicep.
He leaned closer to you, lowering his voice ever so slightly, "You are okay? I didn't hurt you, right?"
You shook your head, slowly reworking through the wonders of spoken language.
"I'm-I'm alright." You assured quickly, standing up straight.
Neteyam smiled softly, "Good."
༺♡༻
The forest people were not the best divers, your brother, and his friends, made sure to make them very aware of their shortcomings often earning him a smack to the head from either you or Tsireya.
"We don't know this finger talk, we don't know what you are saying." Neteyam said, head bobbing gently up and down as he tread water.
Your voice came out first, "I will teach you."
Both Tsireya and Lo'ak shared a look trying to conceal their laughs.
"We will teach all of you." Tsireya corrected, making you roll your eyes in embarrassment.
The next few weeks progressed as such. You and your siblings taught the forest kids the way of the water, helping them grow their skills in the sea. You and Neteyam seemed to dance along a line of friendship, both of you yearning to push past an unknown boundary, yet reeling back each time. Neither of you could make the jump, afraid of the simple fact that getting close would lead to something irrevocable.
You all sat on a rock, outside of the water as you practiced breathing techniques. Ao'nung and Rotxo had since left, deciding they had better things to do.
Lo'ak, Neteyam, and Kiri listened as you explained the way of water. Your voice slowing down as you speak, an auditory representation of your heart rate slowing. Tsireya continued the speech as you went to adjust Kiri, resting your hand on her chest as she inhaled and exhaled. A smile danced across your lips as you felt her heart rate slow with her breathing.
"Good, Kiri. Your heart rate is dropping." You affirmed.
Neteyam felt as though your grin was contagious, his own mouth stretching into a smile as he watched the way your eyes flitted between your hand over his sister's heart and her face. A long curl fell into your face, making his hand twitch, fighting the urge to gently push it back behind your ear.
Removing your hands from Kiri, who still had her eyes closed as she inhaled and exhaled, you could overhear Tsireya assessing Lo'ak's breathing.
"Lo'ak, your heart is beating really fast." She mumbled, making you snort to yourself.
"Sorry."
Almost instinctively, you turn to look at Neteyam who sits across from you. Both of your eyes meet as you two give each other a knowing look and smile.
Neteyam felt his palms start to clam up as he watched you crawl over to him from the other side of the rock. Sitting on your knees before him, he could smell the salt and...something else, something floral, wafting off of you. He decided then that whatever that smell was, it was his favorite.
You felt him stiffen slightly as you put your hands against his chest and above his naval.
"Let me see."
With a slow, focusing breath, Neteyam started to breathe as you had instructed, slowing his heart rate. The feeling of his heart rate slowing had excitement radiating in your bones. Subconsciously, you scooted closer to him, angling your neck so you could beam up at him. He felt his breath hitch at not only the sight of you smiling up at him with bright eyes, but the feeling of your thigh coming right up against his, dangerously close to his hand that was resting near his bent knee.
Your brows furrowed, "Your heart is going so fast now."
Curiosity got the better of you, his sudden increase in heart rate taking you by surprise. You lean in close, pressing an ear to his chest listening to the strong buh-bum of his heart.
If anything, this new position made it worse. He could feel your hair falling over your shoulders and gently caressing his skin, it made his cheeks burn. Unfortunately for him, Kiri had opened her eyes just in time to catch you pushing your head into his chest. She let out a chortle, making her brother send her a deadly glare while his body remained stiff- this only made her laugh more.
You pulled away from Neteyam, bringing a hand to cup his cheek while the other rested against his forehead.
"Are you feeling alright, Neteyam?"
Neteyam wished that Eywa would take him, end his suffering, or perhaps make everyone else on the rock disappear so he could be left alone- alone with you, and your hands holding his face so tenderly, listening to your voice saying his name with such softness.
"I'm alright." He quickly reassures, hands going to grab your own that had been placed on his face.
You frowned, still curious about his sudden jump in heart rate but before you could say anything else on the subject a familiar sound rang through the air and settled- unwelcomely- in your bones.
Txonu flew over the rock you five had been sitting on before circling back and sending out the call again, it was his call for you.
His tsurak landed just far enough from the rock for you to figure it was an intentional show of dislike for the forest Na'vi.
"I'll be right back." You muttered, diving into the water and calling for your ilu to take you over to the brooding man.
Neteyam's face twitched, "Who is that?"
Tsireya groaned, "Txonu Te Ìkhawvo Uäeye'itan. Y/N is promised to him."
Neteyam turned to the younger girl, nearly breaking his neck in the process. You had never mentioned a mate, but his stomach fell with a new thought now gnawing at his heart- perhaps Txonu was the reason for the wall you've put up between yourself and Neteyam.
"They are mated?" Lo'ak asked, before Neteyam could get the words out.
Tsireya made a face of disgust, "No. Not yet. Txonu is waiting for Y/N to turn twenty, when she is a fully matured woman, to mate. The pair was decided by our parents."
"They are never together. She doesn't even talk about him." Kiri said, a lilt of confusion carrying through her words.
Tsireya nodded, "He's out hunting most of the time."
Her teal eyes glanced at Neteyam, seeing his evident antipathy toward the Metkayina man.
"I don't think Y/N likes him but she says she will do what is necessary for the clan."
Tsireya's explanation made Neteyam grumble. She was betrothed to another man, a man who had made it very clear he did not welcome his family with his standoffish demeanor and cold shoulder.
The Omaticayan's eyes watched carefully as your ilu stopped just next to Txonu. The man barely turned his head to look at you as you spoke. But the conversation was too low to be carried back to where Neteyam sat, forcing him to rely on reading your body language.
"Your father has sent me to see how the lessons have been going." Txonu spoke, eyes looking off into the horizon as if expecting something to jump out and attack at a moment's notice.
"They are learning, some faster than others, but they are all advancing." You explained, looking down into the water as you spoke.
Txonu nodded, "Good. They won't be useless."
You shook your head, "No, they will become strong members of the clan."
Tsireya's voice rang in your head 'you sound like an old woman'. You shake the comment that had been ringing through your head ever since she had said it a few weeks ago before looking up at Txonu.
"If that is all I must get back to the group." You tried to end the conversation.
Txonu turned to look past you and at the Na'vi on the rock, you followed his gaze catching sight of Kiri laughing and shoving Neteyam's shoulder, making him turn to her.
"I will see you during tomorrow's feast then. You are to sit with me, not your siblings." Txonu stated before commanding his tsurak to move out of the area.
You watched as he retreated, letting out the breath you hadn't realized you were holding in before turning on your ilu and diving into the water. For a moment your ilu stilled at your command under the ebb and flow of the surface. Unable to hold it in, you let out a scream, only to be silenced by the water. The air bubbles being the only sign of your cry for help.
Collecting yourself, you had your ilu swim back toward the rock ready to rejoin the group- but it was too late, the mood had shifted entirely.
It wasn't long before your small group began to head back to the village. Tsireya rode in the front, her ilu guiding the others through the reef while you fell to the back of the group.
You were the last to hang up your saddle, the rest of the group having already dispersed when you slowly made your dismount. Forcefully, you threw your saddle over the rack, tying it in place before feeling the burning of someone's gaze.
"How did you like today's lesson?" You asked, not turning to meet Neteyam's eyes.
You could hear the soft smile in his voice, "It was nice. The reef is beautiful. I've never seen anything like this in the forest."
"My favorite is after eclipse, that's when it's the most beautiful. There is this hidden cove with a cave that glows with different plants..." You trail off, finally meeting his soft stare.
There was something about the way he looked at you with his amber eyes that made you feel as though he was looking right through you, reading your soul like a book. His freckles glowed with some sort of truth serum, pulling your most honest confessions out of you, making them simmer on the tip of your tongue. Neteyam made you feel so vulnerable, for the first time in your life you were painfully aware of being perceived by someone else.
Neteyam took a step closer as you moved to avoid his gaze again, with a sharp intake of breath.
"Show me."
Maybe Lo'ak's recklessness was rubbing off on him.
You met his eyes with raised eyebrows, making a hum of confusion.
"Tonight, after eclipse. Show me the reef."
You wrung your fingers together, "I'm not supposed to be out after eclipse, especially not with...you."
Neteyam knew what you meant, if you were to be seen out after eclipse with someone other than your promised mate- the clan would definitely talk and it would definitely get back to your parents.
But right now, he didn't care.
"Me neither. It would be our secret." He lowered his voice, eyes staring intensely into your own.
A fire burned in the pits of his stomach, he wanted-no, needed to see you tonight.
Fiddling with the beads on your waist scarf you tried to respond, tried to think of a reason for why you didn't want to do it.
"Come on. Don't be a wuss." He taunted, hands coming up to cover your fidgeting ones.
He watched as mischief grew in your eyes, the same look he had seen in Lo'ak so many times just before he did something stupid- it made Neteyam smirk.
"I'll meet you at your marui, after everyone is asleep."
༺♡༻
Ronal brushed through your curls with her fingers as you sat on your woven sleeping mat, it was something she had done every night ever since you could remember.
She hummed gently, taking her time to untangle your hair before sleep. Secretly, she wished time would freeze in moments like these knowing that soon you'd be mate and gone, no longer her little girl.
Your eyes fluttered shut at the feeling of her fingers running against your scalp, almost enough to put you to sleep. Unfortunately for the serenity that was fighting to wash over your body, tonight's plan had irrepressible excitement bubbling in your belly.
Neteyam felt a similar feeling rising through his chest, making his leg bounce and fingers drum.
"Bro, you're shaking the whole tent." Lo'ak grumbled, rolling over to face away from his brother.
His family was all either asleep or close to it, the day's events draining them. It was only Neteyam that was fully awake, sitting up on his sleep mat with his back against the side of the marui. His leg stilled and the shaking ceased, only to be replaced by the tapping of his feet as he waited- he would argue that it was rather patiently- for your arrival.
Lo'ak let out something between a hiss and high-pitched growl, as he shifted again pulling his woven blanket over his head dramatically. It was in the silence that followed that Neteyam heard it- a soft clicking, not unlike your call for your ilu.
After hearing it again, same cadence and tone, he knew it was meant for him.
Quietly, swiftly, Neteyam stood up and began inching closer to the doorway of the marui. He looked over to his parents, both sleeping soundly with Tuk between them. Lo'ak was next to fall under his gaze, his head buried under his blanket- he couldn't care less about what Neteyam was doing as long as it wasn't disturbing him. Finally, Neteyam looked over at Kiri, only to find her looking back at him with a knowing look.
She smiled at her brother's startled expression, before she quietly turned around, facing her back toward him and his daring behavior.
Neteyam let out a breath before pushing his way through the doorway of his family's marui.
"I didn't know how else to get your attention." You laughed from the water.
Watching as Neteyam lowered himself into the water as smoothly as he could to keep from making any sounds that would wake up his family.
"I knew it was you." He smiled, swimming over to you.
He made a motion to call for his ilu, making you jump to push your palm over his mouth effectively silencing him.
"No ilus, they would bring too much attention. We swim."
Neteyam nodded before looking down at your hand still covering his hand. Bashfully, you removed your hand from his mouth, only to grab his own hand in a spurt of boldness.
"Come on."
And suddenly, it was so easy to be disobedient if it meant you'd hold his hand just as you were right now.
Your grip never faltered as you swam through the waters, guiding him to the cove you had spoken of earlier. With every pass of a glowing fish or unique plant, you would squeeze his hand a few times to get his attention, effectively making Neteyam melt.
Coming to a halt at the edge of your home reef, you sign for him to go up to the surface.
"It's just outside the reef, stay close to me." You informed, gripping his hand tighter to punctuate your point.
Neteyam chuckled, "Ah, mighty warrior is going to save me?"
His teasing got a quick rise out of you, making you splash him with water. Neteyam blinked, his mouth falling open as he retaliated with a wave of water directed at you. You dropped his hand as a fight ensued, both of you laughing hard as you tried to dodge the water shoved toward you.
You readied yourself to send more water his way, only for him to grab your wrist and pull you towards himself effectively stopping your planned attack- only he underestimated his own strength and ended up pulling you so close your noses nearly bumped.
Neteyam used one hand to grab onto your waist, steadying you in the water while the other he moved to keep you both afloat, along with his legs that were kicking softly next to yours.
The breath in your lungs disappeared, forcing you to gasp gently as you placed his hands on his shoulders.
Words felt insincere as your eyes met Neteyam's. His eyes followed the trail of glowing freckles that were scattered across your face like constellations, a map written into the stars, leading him to your lips.
"Nete-"
"Don't." He cut you off quickly, his voice soft yet strong. "Don't say my name. Not like that. Not when I have so little stopping me..."
His voice trailed as your eyes fluttered shut, trying to regain your composure. Neteyam nearly let his resolve crumble as you placed your hands on his chest to softly push yourself away from him, his fingers trailing against your waist that was pulling away.
"Let's go."
This time you didn't grab his hand.
Neteyam followed you closely as you swam through the water, his mind running a mile a minute thinking about what had just happened. He had half the mind to kick himself over how boldly he acted, how little willpower he had when it came to you.
Arrival to the cove felt sudden, due to his not paying attention. The walk up the shore was silent, it wasn't uncomfortable or awkward but rather dim and empty, there was a lack of emotion- one that Neteyam felt used to be so prominent- suddenly stripped away. He watched as your feet made prints in the sand, a part of him wanting to try his best to walk in your exact steps, fearing that it may be as close as he'll ever come to touching your skin again.
Neteyam's sense of longing evaporated as the entirety of the cove came into view. A cave had formed just a few feet from the shore and the bioluminescent waves tumbling against the sand. In the darkness of the eclipse, it looked like the cave went on forever, the entire back wall- significantly deeper into the cave- was covered with glowing green plants, like the ones he could find back home in the forest.
It looked like just that, Neteyam thought, a secret passage way back to his forest, back to his home.
"It's beautiful." Neteyam breathed out, walking further into the cave.
You watched him, a smile dancing across your lips without your knowledge as you whispered your agreement, not taking your eyes off of him, "Beautiful."
Carefully, you sat down on the ground and held your knees to your chest as you watched the waves beat against the shore. You felt Neteyam's presence before you saw him, the wispy, winding, tickling tendrils of his aura licking at the backs of your arms and down your spine. Turning your head, you watched as he sat down next to you, his eyes coming to meet yours.
"Thank you for showing me this place." He whispered so genuinely, so earnestly, it made you want to take him to every hidden corner and crevice of Awa'atlu, paint him a map of your home just before etching your heart onto his palm.
You nodded, words foreign to your tongue.
Neteyam felt a knot form in his stomach, your lack of response reigniting his guilt over what had happened in the water.
His hand reached out for yours on the sand, stopping short and falling just next to your own before he spoke, "I'm sorry I overstepped."
Your ears twitched at his apology, quivering voice making your heart ache.
"You don't-"
"I do." Neteyam cut you off, "I do have to apologize. It was not my place to speak so freely."
His freckles seemed to glow brighter, making your fingers go numb and tongue go dry with the need to tell him the truth- after a pathetic fight with your own willpower you gave in.
"I wish it were."
It was almost comical the way his eyebrows shot up, making you softly giggle. You made the move to push your hand into his, nudging your fingers under his palm only for him to grab them with such care it made you want to cry.
Neteyam smiled, looking down at your hands before a darkness washed over his features.
"It still is not my place, it is your mate's." His hand let go of yours.
Your mood soured at the mention of Txonu.
"Do you... see him?"
The question made you snap your head to look at Neteyam again, this time as if he had grown two tails.
You shook your head angrily, pushing yourself up and off the floor, "That's not something you can ask. You can't just-"
"It's a simple question, Y/N. Do you see Txonu?" He argued, standing to follow your steps as you paced around the cave.
Perhaps this was a bad idea, you felt too open, too vulnerable, too close to admitting something that you’ve willed yourself to never even think of.
If only the glow of his freckles hadn't been caught in your peripheral vision, along with his handsomely furrowed brow and amber eyes.
"No."
Your answer echoed throughout the cave as if to mock you.
"But he is good. Mother says I will learn to see him."
Again, you could feel Neteyam's presence behind you before he placed a hand onto your shoulder, lips coming to the shell of your ear as he spoke lowly, making your ears twitch against his upper lip.
"Y/N-"
"Stop." You whispered, unable to handle the intimacy.
Neteyam nudged the edge of your ear with his nose, closing his eyes as he reveled in the petal-like feel.
"Stop what?" He questioned, not moving a muscle.
You let out a shaky breath, turning your head to be face to face with the captor of your composure. Neteyam pressed his forehead into yours, eyes still closed as he brought his hand up to cup the side of your face, the other hand going to your waist and turning you to fully face him.
"The pressure of your perfection is crushing me, I can't remember how to breathe when I am near you." You gasped, chest heaving softly from your revelation.
"Then don't."
With that Neteyam pushed his lips onto yours. You were desperate to take everything he had to give you, lips chasing after each movement. He brought a hand to cradle the back of your head, effectively deepening the kiss. Your lips seared and ached with repressed passion, needing Neteyam the same way you needed air. For a moment you felt anger rise in your chest toward the Great Mother. How could she be so cruel, bringing Neteyam into your life knowing it is another man that you have been promised to.
Neteyam was the first to pull away reluctantly, both hands now cradling your cheeks. You pushed yourself closer to him, desperate to shower him with your affection, pressing soft, tender kisses to each of his freckles and running your lips along each of the deep blue lines that colored his face.
The feeling of your lips moving slowly over his skin made his eyes flutter shut, head angling up having you complete access to his lengthy neck. You ran your nose along the column, stopping at the connection between neck and shoulder and inhaling his raw scent.
For the next few minutes, nothing existed to either you or Neteyam as you both took turns familiarizing yourselves with skin you've longed to touch, kiss, and worship. It wasn't until Neteyam noticed a glimmer of orange out of the corner of his eye that his attention was pulled from everything that was you, his heart dropped- sunrise.
"Shit." Neteyam grumbled, pulling away from your lips and holding you to his chest.
Lazily, you kissed the skin there before fully realizing the reason for Neteyam's frustrations. The sun was coming up, the sun starting to peek through just enough that the front of the cove was now illuminated in an orange glow- that meant the village was waking up soon.
"Shit!" You repeated before grabbing his hand and running toward the water.
Neteyam followed you as you dove into the waves, the swim back to the reef had his lungs and muscles burning but your hand clasped around his dulled the ache.
Just as you got to the rocky entrance to the reef, Neteyam tugged you back towards himself. He pulled you into one last kiss, under the water and hidden from the view of the Metkayina. Breaking the kiss you signed 'Meet me here tonight. Same time', receiving a nod in response.
It was by the grace of Eywa that the both of you made it back to your maruis on time and undetected.
༺♡༻
The fire in front of you crackled and popped, captivating your tired tired eyes. Txonu notices as you start to doze off, eyes slowly lulling to sleep, making him roughly nudge your arm with his elbow.
You hum in acknowledgement.
"Why so tired?" He grumbled, though you believed that was just his natural voice.
Your tongue was tied, trying to think of a reasonable explanation, anything other than you had spent the night pressed up against the damp wall of a dimly lit cave trying to memorize the creases of a forest boy's lips.
"Didn't sleep well." You muttered, picking at your food.
Txonu side eyed your less than adequate manners, "Good hunters, good warriors sleep. They are ready. You need to sleep."
You assumed that was his way of trying to care about you, his own special way of saying 'try to get some sleep, for your safety'. Instead it came out like a father scolding a child and it made you cower.
Tiredly, you responded, "Yes, Txonu."
The agreement received a nod from your betrothed, silencing the conversation before he started it up again.
"Have you taken your tsurak out lately?"
A sudden sense of deja vu hit your nerves, you've had this exact conversation with your father already.
With a shake of your head you explain, "No, I have not needed to fight, nor have I been hunting this past week."
"The ilu is a child's animal. Warriors have fought on the backs of tsurak's-"
You interrupted him.
"And when there is a war, I will mount my tsurak. There is no war Txonu, my tsurak may swim freely until I call for it."
Your outburst angered your future mate, you could tell by the way he gripped the bowl in his hands and his features hardened.
"The forest people will bring a war, and we will be forced to fight. Warriors should be ready." His stare intensified as he turned to meet your gaze.
You stayed quiet, wishing for the conversation to end before your anger took over- a short temper was a trait that had carried to you from your mother.
Txonu saw this as a sign of submission, allowing him to continue.
"You are either a warrior, the one I know you have trained to be, or a child that partakes in reckless behavior with their siblings. You cannot be both."
The band snapped.
Standing up roughly, you turned to look down at Txonu who was ready to chastise you for acting out.
"When the war comes. I fight. But I will not go looking for a battle like you do." Your voice was low and calm, eyes looking down your nose as you spoke to Txonu- something he found immensely disrespectful, although you couldn't find it in yourself to care as you walked away from him.
Your escape route had you passing by the Sully family, making Neteyam look up at you as you walked quickly. Within a split second, he was able to catch the glint of unshed tears in your eyes as you bowed your head. Thoughtlessly, he stood up to follow you making Neytiri raise her eyebrows at her eldest's actions. Jake opened his mouth to say something, but was distracted by Kiri placing her hand on his shoulder. She gave him a pointed look making her dad furrow his eyebrows before shaking his head and turning to say something to Neteyam, only to be met with empty space- he was already gone.
Sand was kicked with each step as you walked to a more secluded side of the beach. With a rush of anger you fell to your knees, clawing at the sand and grabbing at anything you could find only to roughly throw it away from you with choked sobs. It was only when a body crashed into yours that you were brought back to reality, everything crushing down and crumbling at your feet.
Neteyam pulled you onto his lap as you cried, pushing your face into his chest. His hand came up to hold your head to his body, large palm trying to barricade you from the outside world as he pressed his lips against your head.
"Mawey, Y/N, mawey." He spoke into your hair, rocking you back and forth.
Your cries subsided at not only the sound of his voice, but the feeling of him speaking, the vibrations moving through his chest and to your ears.
"What is wrong, yawntu?"
You shut your eyes, letting your deepest thoughts come up and form words on your tongue.
"I can't do everything they ask of me. I cannot watch over my siblings and be a warrior and learn to live with Txonu. I can't even eat with him without wanting to pluck his eyes out, I don't like him." You sniffled.
Neteyam thought for a moment, "I'll take you back to the forest with me."
You smiled softly, allowing yourself to indulge in the fantasy.
"You can be my tsahik, I will be Olo'eyktan...nothing will bother us."
The image had been drawn in your mind, making you nostalgic for something you've never had. If only it were that simple, but you knew better, you knew that were to mate with Txonu, Neteyam and his family would venture back to the forest after the threat of the sky people was extinguished- and this was the better outcome. Your mind lets you wander, only for a moment, to the possibility that the Sully's may never leave, instead you'd be forced to watch Neteyam choose another Metkayina woman as his mate. You'd be forced to celebrate their union as Txonu drove the dagger further into your heart, approving the pair along with his tsahik's blessing.
Neteyam could tell what you were thinking is causing you great pain. The way your face dropped and eyebrows knitted together, he could tell it was nothing good and made it his mission to rid your mind of such awful thoughts.
"Come on." He said, moving you so he could stand up before grabbing your hands and pulling you up.
You grunted, "Where are we going?"
Neteyam smiled, "Our cove, feast is almost over, people will be out."
"No," You protested, pulling on his arm. "Our parents would drown us if they realize that we're missing. That we are both missing at the same time."
Neteyam inhaled before speaking, a feeling settling in his bones, energizing his recklessness that he had only become acquainted with after meeting you.
"I've never found anything worth the punishment...not until I found you."
You shook your head, "Nete-"
"No. I would follow you anywhere. My eyes blinded and hands tied, I'd follow you, oeyä yawntu."
Again, you found it difficult to form words as emotions crashed over you. Never had anyone spoken so passionately to you- your heart ached.
No words seemed to be enough, but Neteyam didn't need words as he led you to exit the reef.
༺♡༻
Neteyam tiptoed back into his family's marui, praying to Eywa that everyone was asleep and he could deal with a scolding in the morning.
"Have fun?"
Neteyam shut his eyes, his stomach dropping at the sound of his father's voice.
"Dad-sir. I am sorry, I was just talking to a friend." Neteyam tried to explain in a hushed tone, everyone else was sleeping.
Jake pursed his lips nodding, "I saw the look in your eyes."
"What look-"
"She's spoken for, boy. What do you think you're doing?" Jake spoke, volume rising slightly, voice strained.
Neteyam shook his head, "Dad, I-"
"How do you think this is going to end? It's not gonna be a happy ending, Neteyam." Jake pleaded, standing up to walk closer to his son.
Neteyam growled, turning away from his dad trying to wave him off and ignore the worries that gnawed at his insides now being voiced.
A lump formed in Neteyam's throat, a feeling of dread coating his heart. He turned back around to look at his dad, eyes now pooling with tears.
Jake was taken aback, he couldn't remember the last time he had seen Neteyam cry. In an effort to comfort his son, he put his hand to Neteyam's cheek, holding his face as his tears fell.
"I love her, dad. I see her. All of her. Everything she is, I see it." Neteyam choked out.
Another wave of tears fell from his amber eyes as his dad pulled him into his chest, holding him just like he would when he was a child.
Jake felt his heart break, "It's ok. It's ok. We' ll figure this out."
Neteyam gestured toward his heart, palm coming up to tap over his chest, "It feels like there are stones in my heart."
Arms tightened around Neteyam's frame, Jake sniffled at his kid's words, "I know. I wish I could fix this." He pulled away from the hug to face his son, "I wish I could take this pain away, son."
"The Great Mother wouldn't bring her into my life just to take her away." Neteyam mumbled
Surely, Eywa was not this cruel?

Humans living with the Metkayina clan headcannons
Helloooooooo everyone! so I made a pole almost a week ago, and this is the winner! Sorry it took me a bit longer cause as I was seeing this being the lead winner, I had to thing of what would fit in the pandora world. So here is what I made! And as usual, if you like what you see and wish to use it for a fic or something of sort, you have my full permission but please do credit me. Any who, lets get on with it!
--------------------------------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First an foremost, I believe when creating their base on the island, water would be the main source for everything just like for the reef na'vi.
By source, I mean using water as the main power source for the base to be functioning, better than mining the earth and flora.
Their base I say would try to mimic or have it look similar to the home pods the metkayina have. More clear windows to let the light in, and not be so clunked and enclosed like the forest base.
The humans be living the same diet if not somewhat similar to the metkayina diet. Such as fish, herbs, and plants that are edible.
Swimming being the importance for the humans, even with their mask making it better to swim longer. Swim to do their part of the clan such as hunting, gathering, or making.
the communal dinners are the humans favorite part of the day, to sit and chat with the reef na'vi and become good friends.
Sign language is the best language to communicate between the na'vi and humans. Since I can guess speaking it is trickier than doing the sign language. Of course the humans would do their best to speak the language.
I think the Ilu would still approach the humans, obviously not being able to connect together but the ilu looks very friendly that is might not see humans as a threat and would approach them.
There for, I think the humans can ride the ilu's like the na'vi can, but have to hold on much tighter. Skimwing? Nope.
But the tulkun? perhaps. Still using the sign language to speak, the humans can communicate with the tulkun, while stilling trying to understand the sounds and language the tulkun speaks.
The tulkun themselves would be wary but have keen interest on the humans, maybe if one is lucky, a human and a tulkun becoming spirit siblings.
Tattoos. Oh yes. Aside from living like the reef na'vi and liveing among them. Tattoos would definitely be what ties the humans and na'vi together.
When bodning together, I feel as though the humans would tell their sea stories from Earth, like pirates', ocean gods and goddesses, sea creatures similar to the pandora sea.
The reef children would definitely seek the humans out, often go the base and bother them until they have the undividing attention.
The children would more than often raid the base and mess with the humans, wanting to see what they are doing and demand to play with them. While it be a tiny bit annoying, the humans would happily oblige and play with the na'vi children
The parents would be happy to see that their children arent alone and are being entertained while they go attend their duties.
No doubt love would bloom between a reef na'vi and a human, making the two beings become one as a whole.
If it wasnt for the war, I see the metkayina and other reef clans be more welcoming and humble to the humans if given the chance. Create friendships and special bonds between the two. Better than the forest na'vi.
Tumblr media
that is all for today! I hoped you liked it! tell me what you guys think. If you are interested, I have more headcanons. Check them out if ya want!

Ronal x Fem Metkayina Reader X Tonowari
A/N: You are pregnant and about to give birth, no heavy description of a birthing scene
Part 2, Final Part
--------------------------------------------------------------
"Those skxqwngs really couldn't put the argument aside and be here for me." Your water had broke early this morning and you were in active labor ready to push any minute now and Tonowari wasn't here, the argument that the two of you had at the forefront of your mind
You were pacing back and forth a little upset because all you wanted was to sleep and cry but, apparently you weren't the only one to have been upset. Ronal had an attitude with the clan and was taking it out on Tonowari and in turn, he was taking it out on you which you didn't appreciate. Ronal was headstrong, stubborn, and can be rude when she wants or she feels she is right in a certain situation. However, Tonowari is just like her but, a male version with a bigger soft spot for kids than her. Whenever the two of them got into it, usually you were the mediator or one or the other will take it out on you which normally you can handle but, at the moment you couldn't. You really couldn't.
"Why are you so angry Wari?" Maybe it was his anger clouding his mind and judgment but, he looked at you as if you just disrespected him which is impossible.
"Now I'm not allowed to be irritated? To feel?  Don't try to patronize me." He had a snarl on his face staring down at you as you looked up at him in visible confusion. Here he goes taking his anger out on you that Ronal is the cause for.
"I never said that-" He huffed walking closer to you until your very pregnant and heavy belly touched his bare skin
"I would prefer that you didn't speak at all. The silence is much better." Your jaw dropped and he simply squinted his eyes and left the Marui without a word leaving you to stand there in both disbelief and your heart hurting. A few minutes later Ronal came in just as pissed and angry at the world with a worried Tsireya on her hip. Here we go, it was going to be one of those days with them.
"Ma Ronal-" She cut you off with a hiss which shut you up.
"That man was right about one thing, you not shutting up. Be quiet for once." You couldn't help it as you watched her leave and a worried Tsireya caught you crying. You sat down on the floor angry and hurt that both of your mates had the audacity to speak to you in such a manner. You were carrying your guy's son! It wasn't fair.
Not long after that argument did Ronal's and Tonowari's mothers come in just knowing you were upset. They were so sweet as they comforted you and told you that Ronal and Tonowari had gone to cool off, on a hunt. While they were with you, your water broke and they called in a healer next to the Tsahik to prepare you since Ronal and Tonowari had left which left you in the predicament you were in now.
"Y/N, ma'ite, it's time. I can see the head, take a deep breath and push for me okay?" You were whining wishing Ronal and Tonowari were here to watch you give birth. You don't even know why they would want to argue and take it out on you when you were this close. Now they were going to miss their son's birth over petty shit that had nothing to do with you.
"Push ma'ite" Ronal's mom was holding your head and neck while squeezing your hands while Tonowari's mom was in between your legs. You gave three good pushes seeing black spots across your vision.
"Come on Ma'ite. You're so close, one more you got this." You took a deep breath and with a scream the baby was out, screaming to the world. He was instantly placed on your chest as both women worked to clean you up of fluids and blood while you held your boy close to your chest. He was gorgeous with a head full of hair. You thought about how Ronal and Wari weren't here to see him but, that is their fault. They are too stubborn. When Ronal's mom was within reach, you reached a shaky hand out to get her attention
"Ma sa'nuk was Ronal always so stubborn and taking her anger out on everyone." You needed to know if she was always like this or if was it when she invited you to be with her and Tonowari. She sighed placing a cool rag on your head that felt amazing while the other mother was getting food for you. Your son started crying so you latched him onto your breast to feed.
"Yes Ma'ite, ma Ronal has always... been headstrong, stubborn, always wants to be right and never apologized but, she has a good heart. Sometimes she allows her pride to get in the way of her feelings which is not good...She will come around." Well, you knew that but, you were still angry and hurt that they missed your son's birth for something so petty.
"I'm not happy with her or Tonowari. While they are out bonding, they took their anger out on me and left me alone to give birth. I made sure I was with her but, she couldn't give me the same respect. She knew I was due, she's Tsahik, they know all." Your son Aonung, you decided to name him Aonung, cried a bit and you brought him up to burp him and hold him close. You were covered on your privates with a thin blanket that allowed the ocean-side breeze to cool off your body. The two moms said nothing except to make sure you eat. Once you ate, that's when you felt tired and decided to take a nap right along with Aonung
"Rest Ma'ite." You did as instructed laying on the mat and falling asleep within seconds, your son cooing softly in your ear and exhausted from the whole birthing experience.
----------------------------------------
Ronal and Tonowari were on their way back from hunting as well as...some bonding time they had to work out their frustrations feeling better when they saw both of their moms on the beach waiting for them setting alarm bells off in their heads. They got off their Tsuraks bringing the net with the fish to the others for the communal dinner later eyes never leaving their moms.
"Ma-"
"Mother-" They were both cut off by twin hisses making their ears pin back wondering by the Grace of Eywa what they did to earn their parents hissing at them
"So you guys made time to fish and fuck but, not the time to apologize and stay with Y/N" Ronals mother was staring at both of them with a deep frown on her face. Ronal and Tonowari were alarmed now, what happened to Y/N? Was she okay? Was the baby okay? They were about to take off to their shared Marui when they were stopped by both women in front of them
"While you were gone doing frivolous activities, Y/N gave birth to a healthy baby boy. She named him Aonung." Wari's mother was extremely disappointed in them and that was somehow worse than the rage that was on Ronal's mother's face. They felt guilt swallow them whole itching now to go to the Marui and grovel at your feet for forgiveness. "She is not happy with either one of you. She is resting and you will allow her that much. Make yourself busy for the time being I'm sure that's not hard." Thoroughly scolded the mothers who left their children on the beach to think about their actions and both how and what they were going to do to try and fix this.
-------------------------------------------------
When you woke up, you felt much better than before and smiled down at Aonung who was content sleeping and holding a lock of your hair. Your hand rested on his little body feeling him breathe up and down. Ronal carried your guy's first child, Tsireya, and this time you carried Aonung your guy's second child. You can tell he was going to be spoiled with so much love. A small part of you prayed he wouldn't be as rude and stubborn as Ronal and Tonowari because those two were more than enough. Your ears picked up on soft footsteps turning to the entrance only to frown when you saw Tonowari and Ronal with their ears pinned back, looking guilty and their tails wrapped around their legs
"Ma Y/N" You hissed lowly at them to keep from waking up Aonung taking in their genuine surprise. You never hissed at them before so you understood the shock but, you were genuinely upset with them.
"Don't Ma Y/N me. You two always do this to me. You both get in an argument and then you take your anger out on me when I try to help and then the two of you disappear to fuck and bond and come back to me all happy and better forgetting about the shit you did and said to me. I don't get an apology or anything you'll just make me food or take out hunting but, both of you are too damn stubborn and prideful to admit when you're wrong. You rather pretend nothing happened but, not this time. You both missed your son's birth for no reason at all. Ronal you're Tsahik you knew how close I was and still left with Tsireya. Sometimes I hate that I mated with you two." That triggered something in them because they both physically flinched and looked like they might cry.
"Don't say that, you don't mean that." They both sank to their knees never breaking eye contact with you. You felt your heart tugging wanting to comfort both of them but, this time it was your pride in the way for once.
"The two of you don't treat me as a mate half the time. I don't spend one on one time with either one of you, the three of us hardly go out, when we are bonding the two of you bond more than you do with me. Everything is with each other and the two of you act like you regret me being here. The both of you were mean for half of my pregnancy." Tsireya was with her grandmothers so you didn't have to worry about her overhearing the three of you.
"We had duties-" This time you growled at Ronal halting her in excuses
"That's an excuse. Do not use your duties because the two of you were sure to disappear on hunts, on collecting herbs and fruits, just sitting on the beach calling it 'duties' when the two of you needed time. Where was I in all this? Taking care of said duties so no one won't notices. Was I invited? Did you think to invite me? No, I'm not good enough for that but, I'm good enough to make an heir and care for the people when you guys don't. What about me? I wasn't cared for. The two of you disappoint me time and time again and I am just tired." You were panting glaring at both of them as they stood silent taking your berating. You scoffed sitting up with Aonung and handing him over. "His name is Aonung, hold him." You watched as Ronal reached out first and you tugged your hands back fast baring your teeth at both of them. "I do not want the two of you to touch me." You were actually begging for them to touch you but, you were still angry and so hurt. You can only hope that Eywa gives you the strength to deal with this. With them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, I made this much more angsty than intended, and now it needs a part 2 so that's something to look forward to!

Tw: polygamy, pregnancy, motherhood, this time instead of Ronal being pregnant is the reader, mentions of war.
Author’s note: Since I didn’t get much detail on this, I had a little hard time but I managed to came up with something, sorry that its short, I hope you like it :)
It’s always been the three of you, since the day you were all children. It was always Tonowari, Ronal and Y/n together. You were all always spotted together by the whole village. Whether it was training, on the water with your ilus, you were always together.
As you grew older, the subject of mates came up, specially for Tonowari due to being the chief’s son and successor, he needed to choose a mate. It should be an easy task but he was conflicted, he could not choose between you and Ronal, the two of you had always been a part of him, without one of you, he would feel like he was missing a piece of himself.
Then when it came time to announce who his mate or mates were, Tonowari had choose both you and Ronal, this was new to the clan, normally a one mate was chosen and that mate will forever be their mate even after death. Everyone was caught off guard but no one questioned his decision on having two mates. Thought only one can be the Tsahìk, you thought that Ronal should be the one for that role since you were already a warrior. It was settled Tonowari is the  Olo'eyktan, Ronal is the Tsahìk and you the warrior.
The years passed, you had began to receive your tattoos just like your two mates, your face was almost covered like the both but what mainly took most of your body covered body, due to tasks only a warrior is able to perform.
Ronal was the one to conceive children, when she was pregnant with her first child, you were the one to tattoo her stomach, this tattoo was a symbol of beauty, when the child is born the first thing that they’ll see is their mother who was the beautiful creature who kept them growing in their stomach. You had to admit, Ronal always looked beautiful but when it came to children, she looked even more beautiful.
During her pregnancies, she was stubborn, when you had requested her to rest, she refused and continued her tasks as the  Tsahìk and healer that she was. Tonowari thought the same thing, that Ronal should rest, but of course he never tried to get her to rest. She made it clear to the both of you that she is not fragile as she seems, she is also a fierce warrior, pregnant or not she will join a battle if needed.
You saw both Tsireya and Ao’nung as your children, they were the most amazing kids anyone could ask for. Sometimes they’d ask you for help of any kind, when Ao’nung would get into trouble, he’d try and get you to convinced them to not have him grounded.
This time, it was you who was pregnant, you had never saw yourself being pregnant before, but it was a very nice feeling, knowing you had a life growing inside of you. This child was yours, Tonowari and Ronal’s. Your mates and children were happy that you’re with child. You also got a tattoo on your stomach just like Ronal when she was with child all those years ago. It was painful but worth it knowing that your child will have a mother.
Then a family of forest na’vi came to seek refuge, Tonowari was already their as you and Ronal made your way over to see them. Your husband was about allow them to stay until Ronal began seeing their differences, how thin their arms and tails were. How two of them weren’t real na’vi and had demon blood, you understood but they just wanted to be safe from the dangers. Ronal was about to protest some more but then she looked at Tonowari then at you, you all had a silent conversation, finally agreeing.
You and Tsireya showed them the village as well as help them with their stuff to be taken in a marui that was unattended. Once they arrived at their new home, you saw how the older woman didn’t seem happy like her mate was that they were able to stay. “We’ll let  you settle in” you said Tsireya followed you.
Once you returned to the Marui you saw your mates having a conversation involving the Sullys, sitting on the floor of the marui. “What if they bring their war here? We’re at risk Tonowari” Ronal said as Tonowari spoke “we already accepted them, we can’t tell them to leave now.” You walked over to Ronal and sat next to her “Ronal, at least give them the chance, they will learn to be like us” You said making your mate turn to you with a look of worry.
“It’s just that, I don’t want for our people to be caught up in a war that doesn’t involve them” She said looking down at your growing belly and placed your hand on it, feeling the growing infant. “I know, that’s what we all want, I’m sure that they won’t allow their war to be here.” You said as Tonowari then got closer next to you both.
Ronal sighed and leaned her head down to your shoulder, allowing you to stroke her hair and kissing the side of her head. You all stayed like that for a bit, just holding one another in each others arms, as close as possible.
That night you after dinner you went to sleep. You in the middle being squeezed between both Tonowari and Ronal.  You all felt like teens when it came to this, since it was like a ritual that you all would perform when you all would sneak out to hang out at the beach. If anything were to happen, you were all willing to fight for your people, your children and for each other.
