Folks being disappointed that the githzerai weren't included or mentioned in BG3. Me, not knowing the lore, going to look it up and seeing this for the githzerai wiki page.

I am a person who loves the beginning of HC seasons because of the intermingling and I’ve experienced like, 4 seasons ending now? And HC9 ending still affected me more than any other season ending. Like logically I knew it was going to end and logically I knew now would be the best time and logically I knew they would have to announce it sometime, but it still blew me out of the water for some reason 🤡 I thought we were going to get more Decked Out but I guess it wasn’t enough to expand it past the holiday season.
Or maybe it’s how Ren shouldn’t make announcements on behalf of the server again in the most dramatic way because he scared his chat to death before he announced “Season Ten was coming to an end” and we were like ????!?!?!? until Impulse stepped up and gave us an actual rundown.

(with @canarypoint :p)
bea waking up in a hospital bed, blinking drearily as she tries to locate ava
shes not by her side, which is odd.
her head lolls to the other side of the room, ava's prone body on the cot beside her, just out of her reach.
her heart thumping faster in her chest every second ava doesnt even so as much as twitch.
ava. just laying there. why isn't the halo healing her- why isn't the halo-
"ava," she breathes, desperate gasps tearing themselves from her throat as she reaches for her lover.
she can faintly hear machines beeping faster. "no. no, no, no, ava."
there's an i.v. in her hand, preventing her from reaching any further. she yanks it out with a stifled gasp.
she rips off the oxygen mask, wanting to plead, "ava wake up, i'm here, i'm here."
there's a sharp pull in her side as she tries to heave herself off the bed. even just sitting up makes her woozy, the room floating in front of her eyes.
it's just a couple steps, she can make it.
her foot hits the ground, going out from under her-
"BEATRICE!"
her head slamming into the bed frame on her way down leaves her vision doubling.
"camila," she groans, slumped against the bed, fading fast, "ava-". dark crimson trailing down the back of her neck, warm and slick.
"fuck, she hit her head," she hears camila say, as blurry figures rush in from the doorway, lilith right behind.
"language," she croaks, trying desperately to control her heavy eyelids.
it feels awfully similar to the time she got tranq'd.
except ava isn't here, with her mighty healing powers and brilliant brown eyes.
"ava," she groans, as they maneuver her back onto the cot. a stutter in her breath when her side pulls, shooting tendrils of pain up and down her torso.
"i know, i know," camila whispers, gently placing the oxygen mask back over her face with a worried glance at the sister warrior. in the corner of her eye, lilith depresses a plunger, and it all fades to black.

"This archive does not allow SLASH" in the year of our lord 2023 is wild 💀💀 first of all... Slash??? I haven't heard that since the early 2010s when I was first getting into fandom. Secondly... Wtf?? I get that like... Nsfw wasn't allowed but slash?? Reeks of homophobia honestly 💀 and thirdly that's a surefire way to get me to NEVER use your site god bless
I know it's a place for a show that started in 2006 and ended in 2014 but my friends... Wtf??

FFXIV: A Bloodshore Holiday (7/7)
In the aftermath of the Dragonsong War, life for the Warriors of Light return to a certain kind of normal, and Ishgard works to build a new future for itself and its citizens. But Ser Aymeric has been drawn in too many directions by his new role as Lord Speaker of the House of Lords on top of his duties as Lord Commander of the Temple Knights, and Synnove Greywolfe of the Arcanists' Guild has delved perhaps a little too deeply into catching back up on moons of backlogged research and paperwork. Clearly, their friends need to intervene.
It's time for the two of them to take a vacation. Forcibly.
Chapter 1: Forced Leaved || Chapter 2: Navigator’s Veil || Chapter 3: A Cabin on the Coast || Chapter 4: Surf City || Chapter 5: Revelry and Repose (NSFW) || Chapter 6: A Blessed Arrangement || Chapter 7: A Home on the Cliffs
RATING: G
WORD COUNT: 3894
WARNINGS: None.
--
The sixth day of their vacation, the sky was thick with clouds, the humidity blanketing the coast only kept from becoming oppressive by the wind blowing off the Strait of Merlthor. Aymeric, of course, had gone to bask on the cove’s beach after breakfast, sprawled like a starfish on a large blanket and wearing nothing but a pair of swim trunks to absorb as much sun as possible in his best impression of his cat. He cared not a whit for the sweat beading his brow and chest and the backs of his knees; the best thing about this vacation (other than spending all this time with his bright lady, of course) was being able to chase the persistent ice of Coerthas from his bones.
Synnove, meanwhile, had ensconced herself in a floating chair that left her long, lovely legs dangling in the water, having taken it out of storage and kicking off from the pier with a wave as he had walked towards the beach. She wore a wide-brimmed sunhat and an open robe over her own swimwear, made of the thinnest, gauziest linen he had ever seen or felt, and had brought a mystery novel to read while she floated; the gentle rocking of the tide had eventually taken the chair to the middle of the cove, and out of the corner of his eye, Aymeric could faintly see Synnove gently swishing her legs through the clear water.
His lady seemed more settled this morning, the aftermath of last night’s impromptu conversation about the future revealing a weight now taken off her shoulders neither of them had even known she was carrying. Her smile had been soft and affectionate as Aymeric had nuzzled her awake, her movements languid as they had rolled out of bed and stumbled downstairs to prepare a breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese and the remaining Lominsan sprouts from the previous night’s dinner. Breakfast had passed with them sitting across from one another at the kitchen table, their ankles hooked together—he couldn’t remember when they’d begun the habit of it, but it was a comfort that always instantly set him at ease—as they agreed today would be a day for lounging.
Well. Perhaps not entirely lounging…

Whenever I encounter a new fanfic, if I’ve already filtered for preferences, I tend to just read the summary, then the tags after as a sort of “second opinion” on whether to read it or not. So I found this summary:
And thought, oh, that’s interesting — is it like a thing where, if Link is in a Zonai building and is lost or stumped, Rauru can use the arm to guide him? How does Rauru even know what’s happening to Link in Hyrule or in the Depths? Has Rauru’s spirit somehow latched onto Link? Can he see through Link’s eyes? What if the manipulation goes so far that he can briefly possess Link? Does Link have Rauru’s voice in his head? Or is it sort of like the Sages?
I was getting curious, you know? So I checked the tags, and ...
... you know what? I think I’m good on fanfics today, thanks
