Today I'm pulling a card from my Gratitude Oracle deck by Angela Hartfield. The amazing artwork is by Josephine Wall. I pulled the Security card. This card asks us, what makes us feel safe and secure? For me, it's all about financial security, what about you?

Was it a sign she didn't feel safe? #FeelingSafe #FirstDateDilemmas #RelationshipQuestions Hey there! It's totally understandable that you're feeling a little confused and unsure about the situation. It's not necessarily that her friends randomly showing up means she didn't feel safe, but it could be a sign that she may have been unsure about the date and wanted an easy out if things weren't going well. 🤔 As for bringing up her ... My last stop for this trip is a recommended spot from a local. I was not sure what I was in stored for, but I went in with excitement and an open mind! I will admit it was kind of far from what I was originally used to, but I am stilled very intrigued. Once I got here, I could feel a change in the air. The surroundings shift from the busy Roman towns to a wilder place. I saw a very long fence/wall that was made out of made of stone and turf which was cutting through the rough land. While visiting I heard sounds of military drills and the clatter of construction. I saw soldiers marching, with their footsteps creating a steady beat. They were wearing armor and carrying short swords and javelins, while walking along the wall. I also saw that there are forts and watchtowers all around the wall where soldiers worked and kept a lookout. I did notice the ditches in front of the wall which was often dug to provide an additional obstacle for potential invaders. There were Leaders giving orders to soldiers who do different jobs. Going past the forts there were small towns such as bakeries which filled the air with the smell of fresh bread, and there were blacksmiths are busy making and fixing weapons. I got to see people, both Roman and local, busy trading goods. I could also hear different languages and customs mixing together. Of course, it would be a mix of Romans and Britons. I wasn’t sure what or why this wall was important until I asked a friendly local. The local described to me that this was called Hadrian's Wall which stretches for 73 miles. They told me Emperor Hadrian built it, primarily for defensive purposes but visiting it and seeing it be used for more than that was very rewarding! I am not going to lie, the walking got me tired, but the view is absolutely amazing definitely worth it. I can see the countryside all around. The wall isn't just a barrier, I see it as a sign of Roman power in a land that still holds onto its own spirit.

Mental health includes our entire being – our emotional, social, and psychological selves.
It affects what we sense, how we feel, how and what we think, and eventually leads to how we behave.
Raising healthy, happy children is what we look forward to at Parkshala. Being mentally healthy during childhood means reaching developmental and emotional milestones and learning healthy social skills.
At the end of the day, we deal with children of various age groups and the workshops we have conducted for their mental well-being are age specific.
This year, @sssi_education - Our CSR partner, conducted a workshop on mental health, for which we’re very thankful!
The team made children perfom an activity where in they had to write about what they were feeling at that moment, which helped them pen down their feelings and be vocal about it.
The session gave an insight on how to deal with comments & criticism during adolescence and how to not let it affect your mental peace.

Trauma isn't the result of weakness. Trauma is the result of something that's been so overwhelming for our bodies and minds that our brains literally change to adapt to what has happened to us. It's not something we make up. It's not something we can just fix our mindset about'. You cannot logically decide you're going to feel safe when your body has been bracing against impending danger. You have to create a true sense of safety around you to reverse the impact of the trauma. The good news is it is possible, with the proper support. — onlinecounsellingcollege #trauma #danger #feelingSafe @onlinecounsellingcollege.com https://www.instagram.com/p/CZCYdvSOnx9/?utm_medium=tumblr

Safety is an important part of achieving restful sleep. Also, this video is a cute excuse to share some sleep hygiene tips. -Develop a bedtime routine -Dim lights 30 mins before bed -Turn electronics to night mode -Give yourself a hug. No, really. -Take slow, deep breaths and practice breathing exercises Guided imagery can help you feel safer and more rested. -Scan your body for any tension and imagine: 1. A band of warm light going down your body & removing tension 2. Placing whatever is worrying you into a box and handing it to a trusted friend 3. Pushing or scooping the tension out of your body with your cropped hand #feelingsafe #safety #sleepy #selfhelp #selfhealing #selfguided #imagery #guidedimagery #breathingexercises #sleephygiene #fallingasleep #fallasleep #fallasleepfast #fallasleepfaster #sleephelp #sleephealth #therapist #therapy #sleeptherapy #sleeptips #sleeptime #sleepy #sleepytime #bedtimeroutine #bedtime #routine #nature #therapistsofinstagram #psychology #sleepyhead https://www.instagram.com/p/CFoJRk1BCXf/?igshid=j203znl81s96
