Amazing edit and review 💕💕💕 Repost from @tri_book_reads • The Image Of You by @morelandmelanie 2nd Edition Release Date:- 1 December 2022 EPIC ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 It was really hard to drop this book down and take a minute break. I read the whole book in three hours. ADAM - What shall I even say about him? How can someone love unconditionally like him? The way he calls her nightingale and snuggles with her. Damn!!! He's so perfectly. Living a life of a photographer is hard and I'm so glad he found an anchor to return back home safe. His Ally is everything for him. ALEXANDRA - She's an excellent Nurse. I felt so bad for the unnecessary guilt she held on herself due to such an annoying mom of hers. The girl fights so hard with her cruel Step-Dad but luckily she has got a Guardian Angel (Elena) who's her Stepfather's Sister. I would speak for hours about Elena. I loved her so much and she was everything for this lovely couple. (Adam&Ally) they both just adored her lots. I literally cried knowing I couldn't see her more as the story went on. I really wanted Elena to be there for ALLY and ADAM forever. Tropes:- Tattooed Hero Sweetheart Heroine Mother issues Friends to Lovers Heroine forgets Hero (But he makes sure she remembers him) Not to forget I truly loved all the encounters of Hero with Heroine's mom (Sarah) Adam and Sarah (My favourite scene of them together) I couldn’t resist. “Hey, Mom. Miss me?”I held out my arm. “How about a welcome-home hug?”“What are you doing here?”she hissed, her gaze darting around the room. She was cornered, and she knew it. I tilted my head to the side, studying her impassively. “I came home to get what’s mine, Sarah. Did you honestly think you’d get away with this?” That one scene had me laughing in a serious moment 🤣 More like Adam rocked and Sarah Shocked. This is my second book from the author and I completely loved it. 'The Contract' book of hers lives rent free in my heart ❤️ Thank you so much for the ARC @morelandmelanie #ARCreview #bestbooks #Theimagesofyoy #melaniemoreland #bestread #favouriteauthor https://www.instagram.com/p/Cle9CrStkk3/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I think I’ve read the magnificent Tess Of The D’Urbervilles three or four times now? I never lose sight of how fantastic it is and I always find something new to appreciate. This time round, I re-read Tess as part of the #greatthomashardyreadalong2022 and it was an unforgettable experience, especially being able to discuss plot points in real time with like-minded readers. ⁣ ⁣ For anyone new to Hardy, this is one of my favourites and a perfect example of his style. It covers Tess Durbeyfield who is forced to seek acquaintance with the local, wealthy family of D’Urbervilles whom her father proposes they are related to. ⁣ ⁣ Loyal Tess is aware of her family’s impoverished circumstances and although embarrassed, does as her parents wish and meets Alec, the son of the family who changes her life forever. Later, she meets Angel Clare who seems like the answer to her prayers but Tess wrestles with unburdening her conscience and coming clean about her past or telling the truth and risking everything. ⁣ ⁣ Poor Tess really is a naive, sweetheart of a girl who pulls at your heart strings at one point and then maddens the reader with decisions she makes afterwards. However, she is such an angelic heroine, you can’t help but root for her, even though I couldn’t help but wonder if it was primarily pity that drove my emotions towards her. ⁣ ⁣ Yet there is a lot to love about Tess. She’s sweet, faithful, gentle and kind and considering how she is treated (by MANY of the characters in this novel), she manages to find the strength to carry on, even if it’s not going to lead her down the right path.⁣ ⁣ This is an emotional and heart-rending read from Hardy whom when writing this is at the top of his game. Prepare for sadness, frustration, beautifully written scenes and an extremely memorable female lead. ⁣ ⁣ Five perfect stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ⁣ #bookstagram #booklover #scottishbookstagrammer #readingtheclassics📚 #tessofthedurbervilles #thomashardy #hardyfangirl #readinghardy #lovingclassics #penguinclothboundclassics #favouritebooks #favouriteauthor #rediscoveringfavourites #classicnovelsnerd https://www.instagram.com/p/CjYcAYmLBpa/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

There are a lot of advantages to self publishing over traditional publishing, To be a successful author, it needs hard work! Self publishing requires you to have knowledge of every aspect of the publishing process, like designing, formatting, and marketing. Platforms like Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing make self publishing accessible to everyone, but it can feel overwhelming to independent authors. What do you need to use Amazon KDP? What technical skills do we need to meet Amazon KDP requirements? How to promote our book? Here are seven tips and tricks to hack Amazon’s self publishing platform and be a successful author. 1. Make Your Book's Title and Description Perfect: Favourite authors A good Amazon book title and description are important for your book to rank well on Seo. Your book description gives readers a taste and overview of your writing skills and tells them exactly what to expect when they buy your journal or planner . Your journal title and description should look professional. A poorly written description have huge impact on sales. Run your blurb through a grammar checker to check for mistakes and readability. Aim for a genre-appropriate, specific set of rich keywords. Favourite authors We’ll talk more about keywords in the next section. Amazon will allow you to use HTML formatting on your descriptions, so get the benefit of this awesome feature. You will be able to organize your keywords. 2. Use long-tail keywords like Favourite authors . One of the most important aspects to getting ranked on Amazon self publishing is the seven keyword boxes. They allow you to add up to forty-nine characters. A keyword is a word or phrase that people type into the top search box on Amazon to find a specific journal or planner... You need to focus on specific long-tail keywords. Instead of a broad, short-tail keyword, you might enter Favourite authors (a specific long-tail keyword). You can research these using a keyword research tool like Google Keyword Planner Tool, hire an expert in KDP categories and keywords, or simply search for them manually by yourself. Look for keywords that give you only a few results, not thousands, to beat your competition. 3. Choose Extra Categories Amazon KDP has preset categories for books, and it’s hard to choose the best one for your work. When you upload your journal or planner interior, you can select two Amazon categories. Your book might fit into multiple categories. You can also increase your chances of being a bestseller in a category when you choose less competitive categories. A little secret : you can add additional categories with these simple tips : If you can call KDP customer service, KDP will allow you up to eight more categories, for a grand total of ten!
4. Purchase a High-Quality Designed Cover The first thing that Amazon visitors see is your book’s cover. A high quality cover can make a big difference and impact your sales numbers. There are a ton of elements that impact whether a book cover is engaging. Various classifications have different expectations. A basic cover does not take into account genre trends and expectations. A nonfiction book should not look like a kid's activity book or vice versa. Unless you’re an experienced graphic designer, avoid using tools offered by Amazon. Find an experienced designer who is familiar with your theme and check their portfolio. Try to reach out to other authors for recommendations, or browse Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to find a freelance designer who works with other authors. 5. Emphasize covers and interior design. The quickest way to a one-star review is an ugly book cover or interior. When your print book format is a mess, Amazon's visitors will move on to the next competitor. Don’t gloss over this step. There is a lot of software, like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator, that allows you to format your book and make it look professional. You can also outsource your formatting to an expert. In our case, the Favourite authors is already formatted for KDP, so you will save a lot of time and money. 6. Adjust Prices for International Markets When you publish a journal or planner on Amazon KDP, make sure that you adjust the price accordingly .99 : This is a marketing psychology that works on any markets. If KDP adjusts the price automatically for other markets, You can manually change it to international prices, however. You can add a .99 to the end of each price for each currency. And keep your eyes on royalty rates. You should also monitor the pricing boundaries for 30% and 70% royalties for each currency. 7. Becoming an Affiliate for Your Own Book Promote affiliate links for your own book and earn 70% royalties! Use your Amazon affiliate link on social media, website links, and anywhere else you can think of. Your amazon affiliate link allows you to earn additional 4% on the selling price of your book. It seems like not much, but that additional 4% can add up quickly with enough sales. Keep in mind that you only get this income when someone buys through your affiliate Amazon link, not from Amazon's search box. Finally, make Amazon KDP your friend; Using tips and tricks like these can assist you in succeeding on Amazon KDP.

It is a tale told well. But it is cruel. And sadly, it is so to his family. Karl Ove Knausgard has written or ripped his heart, his life open in this series ‘Min Kamp’. ‘A Man in Love’ is just that- a story about young love, about marriage- the pretty, the tricky bits, about small progressions, little challenges in life- kids, apartment changes, in-laws, tiffs with one’s partner. The tragedies of youth, the permanence of decisions, the wounds we inflict, and those we survive. This story, the series, throws up some ethical questions. Repeatedly I had been astonished by the acuity of Knausgard’s observations about the mundane shards of life. As frequently, the divulged details, his feelings about situations, yes, but more about the people in his life left me shocked and, at times, feeling like a voyeur. We are all unkind, to our loved ones the most, but to put it down on paper and make it permanent is self-destruction of another kind. He remarked once- “When I started out on ‘Min Kamp,’ I was so extremely frustrated over my life and my writing. I wanted to write something majestic and grand, something like ‘Hamlet’ or ‘Moby Dick,’ but found myself with this small life - looking after kids, changing diapers, quarreling with my wife, unable to write anything, really.” That’s simple enough to understand. But how much is too much? It is not easy being a writer’s family. And Knausgard’s work proves that on a very different plane. If you read his interviews, he comes across as such a genuine and gentle person. And so I look at this book differently- we have felt so many of the things that Knausgard writes about- the shames, the frustrations, the horrors of being in situations we have no control over, of people, we are bound to through various threads- and I salute him. His writing is authentic and scary in its leap of faith. He has bled on paper., like how good writing demands you to. He has scarred himself and his family. His work is as real as it comes. #amaninlove #karloveknausgard #norwegianbookseries #delhibookstafam #delhibookstagrammer #indianbookstagrammer #womenwhoread #favouritereads #favouriteauthors #readingallthetime #literaryfiction (at Delhi, India) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfwaQqZvr_y/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

⁣Even though it’s spooky season my main man Nicholas Sparks came out with a new release! ⠀ ⠀ Do you have an author who is an automatic buy? ⠀ ⠀ I obviously preordered it months ago. I want to read it so bad but I am just in the mood for a good few thrillers so it will have to wait. ⠀

I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to do justice to this incredible book or the previous ones in Elizabeth Strout’s series featuring Lucy Barton, her family and the characters who have interacted with her at some point in the past. By the end of this book, I felt a bittersweet nostalgia for what I had read so far and hope (for more Lucy Barton in the future!).⁣ ⁣ Lucy By The Sea focuses on those recent (awful) pandemic years when we went into lockdown. Just before, Lucy’s ex-husband William convinces Lucy for her own safety to move from her home in Manhattan and hole up with him in a house by the sea in Maine. We then follow Lucy’s experiences living with William again, making new friends, the terror that the pandemic brought and how Lucy copes and supports her loved ones as they undergo their own individual challenges. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve always been keen to read about situations like the pandemic for example in fiction, or perhaps issues that I’ve had challenges with myself. I find it quite cathartic and in a strange way, comforting - like I’m not alone. Lucy And The Sea fulfilled all of this for me and as a result, made for quite an emotional reading experience. ⁣ ⁣ I really love Lucy as a character. She feels so complicated and so genuine that it feels completely natural to empathise with her. Additionally, we’ve lived through a crazy few years recently, and sometimes it’s nice to get that reminder of how things were at the height of the crisis. It’s almost reassuring to think - we did this, we made it (!) through some really tough times whilst we grieve for those that sadly did not. ⁣ ⁣ Lucy By The Sea is such a gorgeous piece of writing which surpassed all my expectations. I already want to reread the entire series and I can’t wait to explore more from this author. ⁣ Thanks to lovely @edels_reads for arranging the buddy read of this series! 😍 ⁣ Five perfect stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 #bookstagramuk #reviewingbooksonthegram #lucybythesea #elizabethstrout #lucybartonbooks #lucybartonseries #fivestarreads2023 #characterstofallinlovewith #booksaboutthepandemic #favouriteauthor❤️ #booksandplants🌵📖 https://www.instagram.com/p/CqD8KhGA1M7/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

🎉Happy Publication Day 🥂 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒃𝒚 𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑳𝒐𝒄𝒌 🐶🐕🐶🐕🐶 I may have started reading The Other Side of Beautiful with a tiny bit of trepidation because her last novel, The Three of Us, was rather hard-hitting (I rated that one 5-stars too) but I’m really not in the mood for that sort of read. However, The Other Side of Beautiful proves to be such a balm in the midst of a lockdown. Being in Mercy’s shoes while she traversed the great Australian landscape, it was truly an escape that I vicariously loved.
