I always imagined guars more dinosaur like than anything, so I wanted to make some headcanons! I mean, they're cute the way they're depicted in canon, but I never understood the appeal of the sloped back and the frog head, my dino nerd brain just HAS to theropod-ify them. Don't fight me on this bc idc

Pack guars, inspired by Allosaurus, are bred to have less defensive features (like the head crest and hock spurs). They're common and cheap, and look very plain as they're used for work and nothing else really.

Wild guars, inspired by Carnotaurus, are fit for running and defending themselves, they have countershading and striping (depicted is perhaps a male which uses it's red stripes for courting) they have long hock spurs which grow to curl upwards as the creature ages. Their long legs are incredibly strong and one kick can definitely knock you out! Although they're mainly herbivorous, their snout is short and enables them to open their maw wider than usual, allowing for more teeth to puncture you!

Lastly, the Ornate Guar, inspired by Dilophosaurus, is bred by nobility to be used in shows and parades and overall just for an ego boost. Their head crests are large but very ineffective in combat, and their hock spurs are filed down regularly. There are many other ornate type guars bred by different houses, but the Skyfire guar is definitely one of the more stunning ones!

If you want me to draw more dino-guars, feel free to comment with ideas! I kinda wanna draw some of the diff variants in ESO but give them my own twists :D

Yesterday's birb. After sketching some slice of life stuff set in a game I like, I got a hankering to draw some fantasy mounts, so this is what I came up with for the black hawk eagle.

The portcullis raises and "The Prince" rides forth in full plate on a scaled draconic horse. His winged helmet and glowing red eyes are reminiscent of Warduke, though the Prince seems to predate the official D&D toy & cartoon character by at least 2 years. More dino guars! Pale Velothi Guar as requested by @aanthirin and a lil Bantam Guar that I tried very hard not to make fluffy lol.

The big guy is inspired by spinosaurids (and albino gators) and the little guy is inspired by protarchaeopteryx. These are fun to sketch, pls give me more ideas i am begging

Wisptober Day 30: Cavalier

 "In the sky this Hallows' Eve, you might see some strange armed riders. Just be sure to observe from afar." 

 Another one with teal and orange but I don't regret it! Added some digital “smoke” in the back too because I felt like it missed something! Now we get ready for the last day!! (Not counting the 4 catch up piece I will do in November of course.)
